Logan woke up noticing his wet and muddy clothes realizing it must have rained while he was out he groaned rolling over before opening his eyes. He opened his eyes and used his hand to shield them from the setting sun's glare. When his eyes got readjusted to the light he noticed Violet's corpse three feet away and screamed not that it was a corpse but that a walker was eating it. He instantly threw his knife into the walker's head and watched it fall to the ground.
"Goddamn," Logan muttered retrieving his knife from the skull of the walker, "I wish I could bury you but the whole attack shit is just a little more important I promise I'll come back to bury you."

Logan started walking towards the school nervous about what was happening.

"It can't possibly be too late," Logan said to himself, "But then again I did sleep through a goddamn storm and walker eating Violet."

But he knew one thing was sure that there was gonna be a fight.

The soldiers had been marching through the overgrown halls searching for the kids for about two hours checking every nook and cranny. There were a few walkers that were freshly put down as well as a bloody footprint trail that led to a closet.

"Come out or be blasted to bits," Gregory instructed, pointing his gun at the closet.

The door slowly opened and Aasim came out with his hands up.

"Woah god damn it's this bitch from the woods again," Gregory chuckled, "Honestly expected you to have died since….. look at you. You obviously aren't a main character."

"Screw you," Aasim muttered.

Gregory patted Aasim on the back and then pushed him on the ground.

"Get this kid and the boy ready for transport to Pleasance the next fair will have an auction with these lucky boys as the stars!" Gregory exclaimed.

The soldiers picked up Aasim and started carrying him back to their base with AJ. John then tried to open the door to the gym, but it wouldn't budge.

"Alright well this door is stuck," John said.

"Now hold on just a minute," Gregory said, "You're saying that when we're looking for kids who know we're here that you wouldn't check a supposedly stuck door?"

"Uh, yes I suppose so," John replied.

"God you're an idiot," Gregory muttered, "Does no one have any common sense? Open up you little shits or we're busting this door down!"

Everyone in the gym was paralyzed with fear.

"What should we do?" Louis asked.

"Well we're not opening the door," Nico replied.

"Why the hell not?" Willy asked.

"You expect a murderer who killed Violet and probably Logan will keep his word?" Nico answered.

The doors were being pounded on by the soldiers and were starting to give in to the pressure. Everyone immediately moved over to the outside door and took the pipe they wedged in the handle out. Gregory and his soldiers burst in not a second later and gunned down Ruby before shooting Louis in the leg. Louis fell to the ground screaming in pain which led Nico and Willy to pick him up and start running.

Gregory and his soldiers stepped outside and started shooting with the bullets barely missing their legs.

"Alright so they're aiming for the legs so they wanna take us alive, that's good," Louis groaned.

"Wow what an idea! Why didn't I think of that?" Willy replied sarcastically.

"Really?" Louis asked.

"No, it's an incredibly obvious ass idea!" Willy replied.

"If only Aasim actually succeeded in bringing us the guns!" Nico sighed.

"Well to be fair we kinda told him to do that and then ditched him," Louis pointed out.

"Do we have any semblance of a plan?" Anne asked.

"We're going to the fishing shack," Clementine answered.

"We can't just abandon this place!" Louis argued.

"We have to," Clementine said.

The bullets seized firing probably for a reload which gave them enough time to jump the fence and disappear into the woods.

After a few minutes of walking, they ran into Logan who was surprisingly alive and with Mary and Henry.

"Who are these people?" Henry and Mary asked.

"These are the guys I was telling you about," Logan replied.

"But we heard two gunshots we assumed you guys were dead," Nico babbled.

"We slipped out the window and two walkers got in the room," Mary replied.

"It's a shame too, it looked like a good place," Henry sighed.

"Well, they got Ruby, AJ, and Aasim. Probably got Aasim," Nico informed them.

"Are you saying we go after them?' Henry asked.

"Hazel and Mary went to save you so yes and also Hazel didn't return with you," Logan replied.

"And what? We're supposed to go against how many did you say there were forty soldiers with guns?" Henry asked.

"Well you three had escaped," Logan replied, "So I don't see any reason why the ten of us can't."

Henry sighed and agreed.

"So we have what five abled body people?" Henry asked, "Since I don't think Pegleg, Captain Cripple, Omar, Anne, and Bethany are fighters."

"So at least we get their knives," Willy said.

"Alright so we're going to the shack resting and the strike team is heading off," Clementine said.

They started walking towards the shack with everyone emotionally and mentally preparing themselves for the upcoming fight. They reached the shack and those staying behind barricaded themselves in.

"We'll be back before you know it," Willy said.

"We could be back in a lot of ways, not all of them living," Logan replied.

"Dude no optimism?" Mary asked.

"Hey man I'm just being a realist," Logan answered.

Logan, Nico, Henry, Mary, and Willy started their journey to the encampment.

"So I really do think we should have a goddamn plan before we y'know attack and all," Logan said, "So I was thinking that Henry and I go for Gregory since I mean he's too dangerous to be left alive. And the rest go after Aasim, Ruby, AJ, and Hazel. If someone tries to kill you then you kill them. We've been the nice guys for too long and now Violet's dead also these guys most certainly don't care if we die."

The dim lights of the encampment shone over the hill with the sound of semi-trucks ringing through the forest. They split up knowing that they were indeed at their destination. Logan and Henry navigated through the windy dim-lit camp being careful to avoid the legions of guards. Alright from all the movies I've seen at our old little movie night I'd say he's probably right up there in that three-story building," Logan whispered.

"So that's next" Henry replied quietly.

Two red dots shakily made their way to Logan and Henry's head.

"Well next I guess we're gonna get shot," Logan replied raising his hands in the air.

Mary, Willy, and Nico slowly made their way into the trailer where Mary was held during her time at the camp. They managed to knock out the four guards guarding the back window and slipped in. They opened a closet door and found the generator and smashed it with a chair until it broke.

They heard the commotion outside and looked to see soldiers surrounding Logan and Henry when suddenly a vehicle blew up out of nowhere and started a massive fire.

Logan took the distraction to slit the throat of one of the guards and take their assault rifle. He quickly opened fire on the snipers who were distracted. The bullets went through their heads and they slumped over. They quickly ran into the building and barred the doors closed, but the building was already on fire. Some guards started running down the stairs and tackled Logan and Henry. Logan punched the guard in the face and threw him onto the other while Henry brutally stabbed the one who tackled him in the head.

Gregory stood in his office in awe of what was happening when the door was kicked down.

"You fucking kids are getting on my last nerv-," Gregory stopped in astonishment, "Miles..."

"Hello Gregory," Miles replied.

Miles' clothes were much more tattered and worn since he last saw him.

"Now hold on just a second I can explain the whole attempting to kill you thing," Gregory babbled.

"You've explained for long enough!" Miles screamed, shooting Gregory in both of his knees.

Gregory screamed and fell over in pain, "You weasely sack of shit I've never seen anything more pathetic! You don't know the things I had to do to survive to witness this moment! Revenge was the only thing that kept me going, but believe me I won't make this quick!"

"I thought you said no one should play judge, jury, and executioner," Gregory coughed.

"Oh, I guess you are good at smelling filth, huh? That is why filth has got to be disposed of!" Miles screamed before shoving MIles' head into the bucket of water.

"Are your little friends down there going to save you?" Miles asked, holding Gregory's head under the water.

Gregory was trying to gasp for air.

"You repulsive little maggot! You call them now! You call them!" Miles yelled, pulling Gregory out of the water and throwing him against the wall.

Gregory chuckled sitting up, "Come on then don't be a little bitch now see it through. That's why I took over to make the hard calls you never could!"

"I made the calls that wouldn't get people killed! That wouldn't kill children! It's called being a decent goddamn person," Miles screamed.

"First of all they aren't children they are young adults," Gregory began coughing up blood, "Second, if you just listened and incorporated my ideas none of this would have ever happened!"
"Your ideas?" Miles asked, "You wanted to make survivors into slaves!"

"All for a higher purpose," Gregory coughed.

"The high purpose of serving your lazy ass?" Miles asked sarcastically.

"You're too much of a boy scout, you don't have the guts to finish it," Gregory laughed.

"I've been out there for months, I told you before you don't know the things I did to survive!" Miles scowled swinging his axe.
