September 6th, Canalave City 1:00 p.m
"Blue!!!" Red exclaimed as he talked on his phone. He was in a motel room, laying on the bed and watching T.V.
"What!!!" Gary said as he gave a small sigh at the end. "Are you in Oak's Ranch?" Red asked. "Yep, why?" Blue shrugged. "I need you to transfer me some Pokémon"
"Why?, Don't you have your team already?" Gary asked. "Yeah but I need to get some more experience with my other Pokémon" Red stated. "Er, very well. Who and who are you gonna transfer"? Red got up as Blue asked.
"Jolteon for Rapidash, Snorlax for Tauros, Alakazm for Scizor" Red listed. "So what's your rank?".
"I'm in Great, rank 965" Blue told. "We better hurray up cause where still behind, besides I wanna face my first rival in Master" Red explained with a smile. "Careful for what you wish for" Blue stated. "Go to the Pokémon Center, So I can transfer your Pokémon's"
"Yeah see you there" Red said. With all that said he Red hung up and left to the Pokémon center.
"Thanks man" Red gratefully told. "You know how great I am, shouldn't state the obvious" Blue shrugged. "JaJa, Right...Anyway see you around, I need to up my ranking" Red said as he hung up.
Red left for Canalave City Gym, Byron had recently came yesterday. He was pretty high up with him being in 210th place.
Red entered with confidence in Byron's gym. He saw Byron as he sat next to his gym field. "Challenger nearby do you wish to challenge him" Red's Rotom Phone asked. Red smiled and pushed yes and quickly looked at Byron with a challenging haze.
Byron smirked and quickly accepted the challenge. They both knew the rules of the World series and the usual Gym battles.
They faced eachother, Byron crossed his arms and Red held them loose on his hips. Both waited for the Rotom Drone.
Rotom Drone came out with it's usual flying noises. "Pokémon trainers, please send your Pokémon out!!!" Rotom Drone ordered.
"You know what I like of this series" Byron started as he smirked and looked down. His right arm took a Pokéball from his pants. "It's that I don't need to hold back" Byron ended as he threw his Pokéball. He released Bastiodon.
"Better check my Phone" Red tought as he took his Rotom Phone out. "Bastiodon. The shield Pokémon, it's a rock-steel type. This Pokémon is roughly from 100 million years ago. It's terrifyingly tough face is harder then steel" The Pokédex voice finished. "Can't go wrong with my Tauros" Red tought.
"Send your Pokémon out. I would advise one that can break my Iron-Clad defenses. Maybe you get lucky today" Byron told with a smirk. "Go Tauros" Red ignored Byron and sent his Tauros.
Bastiodon and Tauros faced eachother. Despite Bastiodon's million year old DNA sequence that flowed trough his blood. He was younger then Tauros, Tauros had long horns, very brown fur, his eyes where narrowed, he was very tall and large. But he stood proudly.
"Offense vs Defense this shall be interesting" Byron tought. "What's wrong old man? Scared of the youth beating you" Bastiodon teased. "I have beaten tougher and stronger Pokémon. You will be a breeze compared to Zapdos" Tauros stated in a neutral voice.
"The delusion of an old Pokémon. Don't worry when I'm done with you. Your dementia shall cease in your mind" Bastiodon claimed. Tauros ignored him and prepared for an attack.
"Bastiodon open with Metal Burst" Byron ordered. Bastiodon started to charge at Tauros. "Use Iron Head" Red ordered. Tauros charged at Bastiodon. His horns turned to a mithril like state. "His horns look like actual steel. This guy must be really strong" Byron tought.
Bastiodon's shield hit clashed with Tauros horns and head. Bastiodon started to push Tauros, he breathed heavily. "I tought you where made of sterner stuff old man" Bastiodon taunted as he pushed Tauros. "Nothing more then a liar" Bastiodon said. Tauros simply smirked. He pushed Bastiodon with sheer brute force to the ground.
"Tauros end this with Thrash" Red ordered. "I can use this, Tauros after the attacks will be confused" Byron tought. "Use Iron Defense" Byron ordered. Bastiodon quickly applied the status move turning for a moment into steel, after that his aura gave a steely hue. Tauros charged at full speed, Bastiodon was barely able to dodge.
"Use Fire Blast" Byron ordered. Bastiodon quickly charged a flame ball in his mouth shooting it at Tauros's ribs. Tauros barely was faced. He turned around quickly charging at Bastiodon. "Use Metal Burst" Byron ordered. Bastiodon charged at Tauros. Tauros had a great momentum once they clashed. Tauros overwhelmed Bastiodon with ease. Like a Broken Water Dam hitting a small sapling.
Tauros hitted Bastiodon again with another brutal charge. Bastidion barely stood but quickly moved out so he could get a good distance between Tauros.
"I tought I was old and with dementia" Tauros mused as he glared at Bastiodon. "I should really keep my mouth shut" Bastiodon regretted.
"Bastiodon use Counter" Byron ordered. Bastiodon charged at Tauros. Tauros side stepped but Bastiodon gave a quick turn hitting his ribs knocking him down. Bastiodon had been very hurt from the attacks with some visible smoke in his body. "How is Tauros not confused, who the heck is this guy?" Byron questioned as he looked at the serious man infront of him
Tauros actually felt that but he got up as if nothing. "Use Fire Blast" Byron ordered. "Tauros take it" Red ordered with confidence. "He, not as smart as he looked" Byron tought. Bastiodon smiled. "Finally some vengeance" Bastiodon happily tought
The Flame Ball was shot at Tauros, directly at his head. His head was smoked and was visbly hurt but he kept on. "Use Flamethrower...Mais ne le frappe pas" Red ordered as he ended his sentence in Kalosian.
"Ah a Kalosian. Wish I knew what he said" Byron tought. "Dodge it" Byron ordered in a calm manner. Bastiodon easily avoided the attack. "This is strange, I think he's gonna do some come back"
"Use Stomping Tantrum" Red quickly ordered. Byron's eyes turned wide-open for a moment. "Crap" He muttered. Bastiodon was in shock. Tauros quickly charged at Bastiodon throwing him with sheer brute force. Bastiodon fell infront of Byron and fainted.
"Red is the winner. Byron please send your next Pokémon" Rotom Drone ordered. "Return Tauros. You did amazing" Red stated, Tauros had a grin as he returned.
"Well I better go full one hundred percent this time" Byron tought. "Go Bronzong" Byron said as he released Bronzong. "Go Rapidash" Red said as he released Rapidash.
"Better end this quickly he now knows I'm pretty competant" Red tought, he put himself in a more active pose. "Gotta use Trick Room. No other way considering my Bronzong's weakness to fire" Byron analyzed as he gazed at Red's brown eyes. Red didn't flinch and in defiance looked back. Both turned there attention to the field.
"Bronzong use Trick Room, then Earthquake" Byron ordered. "Crap I need to move on this one quickly" Rapidash tought. Bronzong leviatated and rang it's bell closing the field, it started to vibrate and move sideways with an extreme speed. "Well the playing field is now equal" Red tought
"Use Fire Blast then Bounce also dodge it." Red ordered Bronzong fell to the ground causing th ground to shake. Rapidash moved around, he felt a spot tremble beneath him. Rapidash gave a quick jump but rock hit Rapidash knocking him down.
"Use Gyro Ball" Byron ordered. Bronzong formed a metal ball infront of him and threw it at Rapidash. He stood unfazed and shot Fire Blast burning the Gyro Ball. "Use Bounce and then Throat Chop" Red ordered. Rapidash started to charge so he could jump.
"Oh no you don't!!, Bronzong use Zen Headbutt" Byron ordered. "If this fails I gotta keep him at the distance" Red tought. Rapidash jumped and kicked Bronzong. He was going to use his horn but Bronzong quickly headbutted him throwing him away. "Agghh!!!. Alright bastard your going down" Rapidash exclaimed.
"Pathetic" Bronzong said in Rapidash's mind. "Oh so you do talk." Rapidash said. "Well of course but I don't like chatting" Bronzong stated.
Rapidash turned to a more aggresive pose. "Use Earthquake again" Byron ordered. "Rapidash use Fire Blast and Solar Beam" Red ordered. Bronzong fell to the ground again causing the ground to shake. Rapidash quickly started to move around as he shot three fire blasts. The first was quickly reflected as Bronzong spinned. The second blast Bronzong quickly side stepped. Third didn't even get close as Rapidash got brutally hit by a Earth Shard causing a scar. Bronzong was in relief but one blast blinded Bronzong and another hit his arm.
"Use Throat Chop and then Drill Run" Red ordered. The Trick Room field faded. "Use Gyro Ball and Earthquake" Byron quickly ordered. "With pleasure" Bronzong spammed Gyro Balls. Rapidash dodged them with skill and speed. One hit Rapidash's legs and another his hide. Rapidash fell but got up. "Use Fire Blast" Red ordered. Rapidash shot them in rapid sucession and landed a few sucessful attacks.
"Use Zen Headbutt" Byron quickly ordered. Bronzong charged at Rapidash. He fell down with all his strenght stabbed him using Throat Chop. Bronzong felt that causing him to fall back. Rapidash used Drill Run causing Bronzong to sink to the ground. "Use Zen Headbutt again" Byron ordered. "Dodge it" Red ordered. Bronzong blew the ground up and floated up. Rapidash tried to dash but Bronzong fell on him. Rapidash fainted.
"Rapidash has fainted. Red please send your next Pokémon" Rotom Drone ordered. "That was intense" Byron tought. "You did good Rapidash" Red said returning Rapidash to his Pokéball. Red send out Alakazm.
"You shall fall as did your friend" Bronzong taunted, Alakazm didn't react and only looked at Bronzong. "Use Calm Mind" Red ordered. Alakazm closed his eyes and fiddled his spoons. They started to be charged with pink energy. Alakazm opened his eyes which where completely purple and his head shot purple rays.
"Better thread carefully. That is a very strong psyhic type" Byron tought. "Bronzong use Gyroball" Bronzong shot a metal ball at Alakazam. "Use Shadow Ball" Red ordered. Alakazm conjured a dark ball shooting it at the Gyro Ball. They clashed but the Shadow Ball didn't overwhelm the attack it actually pushed it. It hit Bronzong causing a massive explosion. Bronzong fell down and fainted.
"Alakazm is the winner, Byron please send out your last Pokémon" Rotom Drone ordered.
"Come on Excadrill let's make this count" Byron said releasing Excadrill. "Ah an Excadrill, there very formidable" Red stated. "Indeed" Byron quickly stated. "Can't use dig, he probably can detect the posistion" Byron tought
"Use X-Scissor" Byron ordered. Excadrill nodded and dug up under grown so he could sneak on Alakazam. Alakazm stood still. He jumped as Excadrill came under him. He gave a flip. "Use Shadow Ball" Red ordered. Alakazam shot a dark ball. Excadrill covered the attack by using his claws.
Excadrill landed on the ground on his feet. "Use Psybeam" Red commanded. Alakazam shot a beam from his fore head. "Use Rock Slide" Byron ordered. Excadrill punched the ground and shot rocks. Alakazam was able to dodge some but some hit his head. Excadrill quickly jumped he did a double slash with his claws hitting Alakazm's chest.
Alakazm stumbled back in the air as Excadrill drilled back into the ground. Excadrill jumped back into the surface. "Exadrill use Earth Quake" Byron ordered. Excadrill hit the ground with his feet. The ground stumbled and it started to shoot shards. Alakazm moved around the air but two in sucession hit his feet knocking him to the ground.
Excadrill was very close to Alakazam. "Use Submission" Byron ordered. Excadrill wrestled the outmatched Alakazam. Alakazam struggled, they weren't exactly a very imposing Pokémon in terms of strength.
"Use Calm Mind" Red ordered. Alakazam relaxed his body. The psychic charge appeared in his eyes. "Apply more force!" Byron ordered. Excadrill quickly applied more force. "Use Grass Knot" Red ordered. "Victory is near" Alakazam stated. "What?" Excadrill said in worry. A grass vine came behind Excadrill tying his legs and arms. The knot pulled Excadrill back holding him in a cross-section. Excadrill tried to cut a knot with his head. "Finish with Shadow Ball and Psybeam" Red ordered.
Alakazam shot the Shadow Ball first. Excadrill cut the left knot and was able to block the Shadow Ball tough Excadrill was blinded. Alakazam quickly shot the Psybeam pushing him which ripped the rest of the vines except the one on his right leg. Excadrill hid in the ground. Alakazam closed his eyes and his spoons started to shake.
A shard from the ground bursted below Alakazam throwing him very up. Excadrill came out and used X-Scissor hitting Alakazam's legs. Alakazam mid air rolled up. Alakazam quicy regained his balance and floated down to the ground
"Alright Excadrill use Submission" Byron ordered. "Alakazam use Shadow Ball" Excadrill dug under the ground. Alakazam had shot the beam but it missed. Excadrill bursted from the ground again but Alakazam quickly avoided it but Excadrill pulled him down and then wrestled him. It was a breeze as he was bulkier and stronger.
"Sorry but I have to end it here" Excadrill apologized. "I understand but I have to end you too" Alakazam told. "Use Focus Blast" Red ordered. "Continue the submission then end it with X-Scissor" Byron ordered. Alakazam was about to fait but he gripped tightly his spoon and was able to touch Excadrill's chest causing a massive blast.
Excadrill was on the ground with swirly eyes. Alakazam barely stood he turned around and gave Red a small thumbs up with his spoon and then fell down.
"It's a tie between Alakazam and Excadrill. Red is the winner" Rotom Drone said.
"You where amazing Alakazam, take a well deserved rest" Red said as he returned his Pokémon. "We shall get him next time. For now rest you deserve it" Byron told as he returned Excadrill
"Gotta admit it was a hard battle" Byron said as he rubbed his neck. "Yeah it was good...Next time hopefully it's six vs six" Red exclaimed. Both smirked. "Farewell, hope we can fight another time" Red said as he left. "Hopefully, next time I shall win don't worry it's all out" Byron told. Red grinned. "That's the spirit" Red said as he left.
Red sat in a small cafe. He was drinking roasted hot cofee and a slice of Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich Cake. Not exactly a healthy meal but I guess the lack of sugar in the cofee made up for all the sugar in cake.
"Ah délicieux" Red said as he took another bite of the cake. "I wanna be the best like no..." Red's phone ringed as he picked up, it was Blue.
"Salut Blue" Red said. "Don't start with your dam Kalosian gibberish" Blue said. "Sorry dude, just speaking my mother language...literally" Red said. "You just wanna flex. Do you even know it in full?" Blue asked. "Just how to pronounce and a decent amount of word and sentences" Red explained he then sipped his coffee.
"Eh what ever. Any way can you do me a favour?" Blue asked. "Sure you" Red stated. "Look my dumbass brother was researching some stuff with professor Rowan" Blue started. "Ehe, Ehe" Red grunted. "Rowan was doing a collaboration with Sycamore. Point is Gary left some important papers in Sandgem Town. Rowan is very busy and can't send anyone to Kalos" Blue finished with a slurp of a smoothie.
"When does Sycamore need these papers?" Red asked with a sigh. "For very late atmost September thirteen" Blue told. "I'll get them. So where do I leave them?" Red asked. "Go to his Lumiose Lab" Blue said. "Ok, smell me you later you pervert" Red teased.
"Not so funny when all my girlfriends in the future, once I'm the World Champion will be Cynthia, Diantha, Bea, Nessa, Elesa, Skyla, Jasmine, Sabrina, Erika, Whitney, Clair, Roxanne, Flannery, Winona, Gardenida, Fantina, Candice, Viola and..." Red's eyes widened at all the names Blue said.
"Wo, wo, wo!!!. Slow down dude. Three things. First I have been with two of the girls you mentioned in that list, also I think some of them are married. Second what the fuck with you knowing all the female gym leaders names and how they look well most. Third I get the girls from our region but the whole world? Blue you have problems" Red explained
"First divorce exists and also no I don't" Blue muttered. "Need some water for all that thirst?." Red joked. "Fuck you and bye" Blue hung up. Red laughed he finished his cake and left for Sandgem town.
September 7th, 8:12 P.M
Red finally had arrived at Sandgem Town after a long walk he finally got to where he wanted, Rowan's lab. He knocked and an assistant came out.
"Yes?" The assistant asked. "Good night, is Professor Rowan here?" Red greeted. "Yes, come in" The assistant told as he got out of Red's way.
Red entered and the Lab was empty but there was a few assistants running data. Red saw Rowan reading a book and taking notes. "Professor Rowan, I came for Gary's paper" Red said. "Ah yes your Blue's errand boy" Rowan said.
"I'm not. I'm a trainer, so where's the papers"?" Red asked. Rowan left the room and came back with a massive file. "It's this one" Rowan told. "I have an offer for you" Rowan said. "I'm listening" Red shrugged. "I wanted to stay a bit more but oh well" Red tought
"I'm conducting some research on the connection between the Gracidea flower and Shaymin" Rowan startes. "Shaymin? I think it was that flower covered Pokémon". Rowan looked at Red. "Maybe you could catch one of them and help me, I wish to see the event for myself." Rowan said. "Oh that Shaymin, I can help but I can't promise anything, fron what I remember there not common sight" Red stated.
"They are a bit more these days, I heard of a Alola trainer having one in it's first league, some time ago" Rowan said. An assistant came to give him some documents. "They have a league now?" Red asked with his eyes brows in a risen manner. "Indeed, one of the trainers I used to frequent often in Sinnoh became it's champion" Rowan told
Red slept in one Rowan's empty bunks. He had it for himself, he didn't have to share tough he next bunk needed some repairs. Red looked at the ceilling and slowly closed his eyes. Soon the image of a tall mountain put him to sleep
