Ducktales Movie – Save the Queen Part 9
After donning in his Mage outfit, declaring his intention to kill Hades and save his twin sister Donald is ready and raring to go. He clutches Save the Queen tightly as Hades is stood near a shackled Della with Scrooge and the rest forced to continue watching. They're all in amazement at Donald's transformation.
Scrooge: Magnificent.
Storkules: I sense an increase in Noble Donald's power.
Selene: Me too. It's incredible.
The Greek followers let out roars of cheers for Donald, lending them his support.
Della: Whoa…Donald, you look amazing!
Donald: Della, just hold still! I'll save you soon!
Della: Della smiles a little through her pain. "Hold still"? She chuckles a little. Very funny, Donnie. No need to ask that, bro. Though is that your way of you being frozen in ice at Doom Valley?
Donald: Donald smiles good naturedly. I may have had an ulterior motive to that. He then gives Hades the death stare. As for you Hades…you're finished! I've been saving this little outfit and power up for a very special occasion and this more than fits the description! I am a MAGE, a link to a world beyond books and rational truths! And you're a monster, Hades! You can humiliate me in public, pummel me and my uncle, but no one tortures the most important person in my life, my TWIN SISTER! You've crossed and now you'll pay for it.
Storkules: Such anger and hatred! I hope this does not cloud Donald's fighting.
Scrooge: I hope so too. But when it comes to Della, Donald's rage goes on for pretty much forever.
Hades: So you have fancy new clothes and a little power-up. So, what? You can't defeat me in this form. I'm invincible!
Donald: Why don't you fight me now and find out if you're right or not!?
Donald gets into a battle stance and Hades resummons his swords of fire and ice.
Hades: Very well, then. Since you're so eager to die first I'll be happy to oblige. Then I'll kill your family, imprison these lesser Gods and then Olympus and possibly the universe will be mine!
Donald: Fat chance! I'll be dead in my grave before I let you get away with any of that!
Hades: Enough talk! Let's fight!
He launches a fireball from his fire sword but Donald slaps it away with his staff and it explodes outside the volcano. He prepares for one of the biggest battles of his life.
Donald: Yes! Let's fight, Hades!
Della: Be careful Donald!
Kingdom Hearts 3 – Vs Ansem, Xemnas and Young Xehanort Boss Theme

Donald Duck
Information: Defeat Hades once and for all!
Donald and Hades both blast off towards one another and strike. The two of them lock weapons and Donald tries to push with every bit of strength he has, his staff electrified in the process. He pushes Hades off and launches a flurry of strikes and slashes that Hades is having a hard time parrying. Donald goes wild as he furiously swings left first then a spinning flip slice followed up by a thrust. Hades manages to deflect the first two but the thrust grazed and a small cut is made in his rock body much to his shock.
Donald grins before attacking again. The Mage and God of Death are exchanging rapid swings with their weapons. Hades attempts to impale him with his ice sword downward but Donald flips back and Hades releases a gust of wind from his wings but Donald bounces off a boulder and stretches his staff, summoning electricity that allows him to plough through the wind and deliver and electrifying thrust to Hades rock body that sends him crashing into a boulder. Hades punches him off and Donald recovers, landing on the ground. Hades leaps up diving down to impale him with his lengthened blades.
Hades: Die, you little insect!
Donald: Barrier!
Donald quickly holds out his staff, summoning a front barrier that was strong enough to block Hades sword strike. The God lands dismissing his swords and turning his fists into rock again before rushing forward to continuously pummel the barrier. Donald holds his ground, eventually finding and opening using a Barrier Surge counter. He rushes in his ball, sending Hades back with shots of powerful light. The God of Death resummons his swords, thrusting at Donald who deflects and dodges continuously before jumping back and casting a Fira spell.
Hades counters by summoning a boulder to throw. It ploughs through the flame shot and is about to smash Donald but the moment he lands, the Son of Quackmore casts an Aerora spell. The gust of wind was strong enough to return the boulder to sender and shatters upon impact.
Hades blows away the dust cloud before smashing the platform with his ice sword, sending a rupture of ice towards Donald but the Mage counters with Firaga spell that melts through the ice.
Hades uses the tip of his fire sword to catch the flames, swirl it above his head and release it in 10 concentrated streams. Donald jumps back from boulder to boulder to dodge the first 3 streams, he neutralizes the net two with two water spells. When he lands the last 5 head towards him but Donald unleashes a concentrated beam of electricity that splits into five streams, exploding with the flames.
Donald catches sight of Godslayer right in front of him. He smirks.
Donald: Della, mind if borrow your sword?
Della: Della gives a pained smile. Sure, go right ahead bro.
Donald dashes forward and picks up Godslayer, grinding it and his staff across the platform.
Donald: Get ready to face double trouble ya big jerk!
Hades: Come on!
Donald and Hades exchange rapid strikes with their dual weapons, eventually blade locking once more. Donald pushes him off and when Hades thrust Donald redirects with Godslayer, blocking the 2nd sword strike by crossing both his weapons and forcing Hades down. Donald kicks off the god and casts a Watera spell, engulfing Hades and dousing his fiery face and engulfing him a ball of water.
Hades: What are you trying to do now?
Donald: Donald is landing on the ground. Pity, you don't study Earth education Hades, because…
Donald smashes Save the Queen on the floor, sending a rupture of electricity that goes inside the water and Hades is electrocuted. The God of Death screams in sheer agony.
Donald: Water conducts electricity. And that's terrible news for you.
It explodes and the entire Greek crowd explode with cheers. Hera, Hephaestus and Poseidon laugh with joy and so do Scrooge, Storkules and Selene.
Selene: Woo-hoo! Go Donald!
Storkules: Well done, best friend mage Donald!
Scrooge: Atta lad! That's what I call working smarter! And to think I called him a secretary/mascot.
Donald pants before crossing and electrifying Save the Queen and Godslayer.
Donald: I'm ending this now!
He charges and proceeds to finish with a cross-slash but Hades evades at the last second, snapping his finger and teleporting next to Della with a grin. Della gasps.
Hades: So, you've got some power after all, not bade. But that's no matter when I have your one weakness next to me. Della shakes in fear. Why don't we pick up from where we left off?
Della: Della shakes her head in horror. No! Please, no more!
Donald: Donald gets deadly furious and charges once more. Okay, jerk! You asked for it!
Hades: Hades snaps his fingers and another army of Fire Fiends. Form around Donald. Why don't we heat things up boys? Sticks and stones can break my bones but luckily my Fire Fiends have none of those so you'll never harm them.
Donald: Don't count on it ugly!
Hades: He looks back to Della. Now they, why don't we finish what we started Della?
Della: HELP!
Donald: STOP IT HADES!
Donald unleash double Plasma spells from his dual weapons, vaporizing a group of Fire Fiends.
Donald: More jump from behind. You want a piece of this!?
Donald turns and douses them with Watera spell. Going out of control, Donald lashes out at the army of Fire Fiends, cutting them to pieces with electrifying slashes from his staff and Della's sword. He impales more of them and blasts them wildly with a barrage of spells ranging from Water, Aero, Blizzard and Thunder with no sense of purpose.
Storkules: Dear me! Donald has gone out of control!
Selene: Ohmygosh! He's gone berserk! Someone needs anger management school and fast!
Scrooge: No! Donald! It's a trap! Forget about those undead urchins! They're not the real enemy! Don't waste your energy on them! You've got to work smarter, not harder lad! DONALD!
Donald doesn't listen and continues wildly slashing away at the demons and launches a multitude of elemental spells at once.
Scrooge: No…Donald's…doing exactly what Hades wants him to do.
Selene: Scrooge, what do you mean?
Hera: He's not using his magic correctly!
Hades: I wonder what your brain is like. Let's find out. This may hurt a little.
Hades' hands glow again and Della is unable to stop him from phasing his hands through her face. Della screams in a horrible form of pain and anguish.
Donald screams in anger and sends out a beam of electricity from both weapons but to his great shock, a group of Fire Fiends shields Hades and takes the enormous blow.
Hades: Come on, you'll have to fight much harder than that if you want to end your sister's suffering.
Donald: I'LL SHOW YOU REAL SUFFERING MONSTER!
Donald tosses Godslayer and Hades deflects it with his rocky fist, sending it sticking to the floor as the Mage charges with Save the Queen in thrust position before leaping up to deliver a powerful drop slash only for Hades to effortlessly block with his ice sword. He snickers before slashing with his flame sword and sending Donald screaming back in pain. He hits the floor hard with a grunt, his outfit covered in a burned mark and his face a little bruised.
Della: Brother!
Hades: Hope that wasn't too hot for you Donald, because I have plenty of heat I've yet to show you. Especially, since you're now all but drained.
Donald: Donald gets back on his feet in anger. Are you kidding? I could go on forever! I'm bursting with energy freak! Watch!
Donald casts a Water spell but it fails and splatters to the floor. Donald had no time to process his surprise as a wave of fatigue overtakes him and he drops to one knee, sticking his staff to the floor for support.
Donald: What's happening to me?! I feel so weak! Hades laughs. What did you do to me Hades!?
Hades: I've done nothing. This is all you.
Scrooge and gods are gravely concerned more than ever.
Storkules: Oh no! Donald's magical powers have been depleted!
Selene: How could his magic be so drained already?
Scrooge: Hades' cunning is why; looks like even villains can see the angles.
Storkules: Whatever do you mean corporate overlord Scrooge?
Scrooge: The moment my nephew unleashed his magic and Save the Queen, Hades must've secretly realized he had been beaten. That was his intention behind capturing Della, to anger Donald.
Storkules: You mean Hades true intention behind torturing Della was to provoke and enrage Donald?
Selene: Why would he want to make it so that Donald is kicking his butt 10x worse than before and destroy every one of his minions?
Scrooge: To set the stage for draining Donald of his energy, his magic.
Poseidon: Hades must've figured out that capturing Della would enrage Donald. And an angered Mage will use his power much faster than a calm one.
Hephaestus: The Fire Fiends were all just decoys Hades was using to get the mage to us up all of his magic.
Hera: But he did not see that. Donald was in such a rage over Hades torturing he fought the Fiends like they were the real enemies. He shouldn't have wasted his power on them.
Scrooge: And since Donald has been a mage for only a month he properly hasn't learned yet how to re-gather his magic. Donald had enough power to defeat this flaming fiend…
Selene: But now Donald's completely low on energy and magic.
Storkules: Donald has squandered and misused his magic against Hades' minions and now he's being forced to pay a heavy price.
Hades: You look dead tired, Donald.
Donald: Yeah. I may just have to take a nap after I kick your butt!
Hades: That's funny you think you can since I know your greatest weakness.
Donald: What so called weakness would that be?
Hades: I'll give you a clue right now. Hades holds Della's cheek and she cringes. She's a female version of you, is a pilot, wears a hairband and I'm having a good time exploring her insides.
Donald: This sets Donald off. You won't be exploring anything monster!
Donald charges only for Hades to appear and they clash in weapons lock. Donald tries to push back with all his strength but due to his strength being drained that's a complete struggle. He manages to push him off but gets decked hard in the stomach making him shout in pain. He stumbles back clutching his stomach just as Hades flies forwards to deliver a rocky and fiery punch so hard Donald is sent flying and screaming. A gust of wind is then unleashed and Donald smashes into a boulder with a scream. Hades flaps his wind wings to release a flurry of fire and ice bullets that pelt Donald's body and make his screams even louder.
Hades then sends a boulder crashing towards Donald and the Duck Mage screams upon impact, getting buried under a pile of rubble.
Hades: He's crushed!
Donald: That's what you think creep!
Donald emerges jumping out of the rubble to smash Hades, only for the God of Death to effortlessly block with one arm. Donald growls in anger as Hades sinisterly chuckles.
Hades: You were bursting power a minute ago. But now you're running on empty.
Donald drops down and avoids a slash by jumping back. Hades releases 3 streams of flames from his beak and mouth that engulf Donald. The mage is screaming in absolute pain and agony, trying to fight through the flames. But eventually it proves too much and Donald is struggling to stand straight and is in slump, panting in pain and covered in bruises, burns and soot and his outfit is tattered.
Hades then flies forward to deliver a barrage of slashes left and right. Donald manages to hold up Save the Queen to block the flurry of attacks. He's barely standing his ground and eventually Hades delivers a swing so hard that when Donald blocks it by holding his sword above downward a slight tremor is created. Donald is clearly in pain from the shockwaves and he groans when the aura of his flame sword tore through the fabric of Donald's mage outfit and the sailor feels his ribs crack. He drops down in exhaustion and hurt, much to everyone's gasping horror.
Della: Donald, no!
Hades: From what I just heard 3 of your ribs have just cracked. Guess you can't stand anymore.
Donald looks up in anger on his knees only for Hades to the knee him up in the gut making him gasp for air as he's sent flying and then Hades reappears above Donald to elbow his back hard. Donald screams in horrible pain as he gets smashed into the platform, face first.
Scrooge: Lad!
Selene: Donald has no reserves left! He's in serious trouble!
Storkules: Come on, friend Donald! Be strong! Keep fighting!
Donald is groaning in pain as he struggles to even move. Della is also still in pain as exhaustedly takes a look at her Donald, her eyes barely able to stay open now.
Della: Hey there, Donnie. How're you doing?
Donald gives his sister a pained look also struggling to keep his eyes open.
Donald: In pain…
Della: I'd give you a hand but I'm a little tied up at the moment. Funny, right?
Donald and Della both give off pained chuckles towards one another but that's ruined when Hades sadistically rubs the female pilot's cheeks.
Hades: It's amazing to know how easily an idiot like this brother of yours can be manipulated. Having you for a sister was his greatest weakness.
Donald: You're wrong, Hades. Donald gets on one knee again, using his staff as support. The bond I share with Della, my twin sister, gives me strength. It pushes me to keep fighting without fear no matter what. You can keep knocking me down all you want freak but I'll never quit! He holds Save the Queen with both hands. I'll keep fighting no matter what!
Donald clutches his staff tightly in determination, impressing pretty much everyone, except for Zeus.
Poseidon: He's determined; I'll give him that.
Hera: It takes so much willpower from one warrior to be able to resist this kind of pain.
Storkules: Such unwavering courage!
Selene: Yeah, Donald really knows how to handle pain. And so does Della.
Scrooge: We've been adventuring for a long time now. Donald and Della have been getting physically hurt pretty much their entire lives. Of course, Donald takes it worse than the three of us so it's no surprise he's able to stand up to that pulverising pounding Hades has been giving.
Storkules: And not only that, Noble Donald is fighting with a passion unlike I have ever seen before.
Selene: You're right. I never knew anyone could get that mad. First Donald is angry at Della and now he's angry FOR her. It's like Della means everything for her.
Scrooge: You're not far off their lass.
Scrooge fondly looks at his nephew panting and her niece imprisoned.
Scrooge: Donald and Della have a bond unlike no other. It's always been that way since they were born. After their parents passed and I took them in I realized that the bond my nephew and niece share as twins was strengthening the best part of both of them.
Selene: What do you mean by that?
Scrooge: Donald and Della weren't like other children, what with Donald's voice being the way it is and his anger management. And Della's eccentric personality and her fantasies over adventures when she was younger. The both of them helped each other realize that they were not alone in this world because they'll always have each other. During their days in elementary school they never really made any close friends until they became about 7. Donald and Della had to rely on each other for most of their childhood.
Storkules: The god siblings look on in pity. I see. The inability to make friends who understand you is a heavy burden for any child.
Selene: …Especially, when they don't understand your dreams or problems.
Scrooge: Aye. Like I said they weren't like other children and because of that Donald and Della were mocked and bullied relentlessly. But they didn't let that get to them because they had each other as best friends. Della made it clear that she'll always understand Donald no matter how unclear his voice is and Donald believed in Della and supported her in achieving her dreams.
(Flashback)
In a white background 10 year old Donald and Della are speaking with each.
Della: I'll always stand by you, Donald.
Donald: Right back at ya, Della. We're a team, right?
Della: You bet we are! We're the Duck Twins.
(End of Flashback)
Scrooge: And every time Donald sees his sister get badly hurt he goes completely out of control and usually gives anyone who hurts her, the walloping of a lifetime. Now you understand, don't you? Donald and Della draw strength from each other's presence. The star charms they carry with them are a representation of that connection.
Storkules: I see. I had no idea their bond as brother and sister ran that deep.
Selene: And when you take all that into your head it's no wonder Donald was so upset about feeling like he's been ignored by Della for a year.
Scrooge: As much as I hate to admit it…I'm afraid so.
With a battle cry Donald charges Hades and vice versa. They leap in the air and Hades summons an elemental energy ball while Donald thrusts only to fail. The ball explodes and he's sent crashing to the floor, losing Save the Queen and his mage hat. Hades summons a boulder and smashes it on him, invoking a scream again. Everyone screams and gasps in horror and rocks fall from below the platform and into lava which is bubbling randomly and threatening to blow up.
Della: NOOO! Della's Wayfinder in her pocket releases a brown shine.
Donald is stuck to the floor; face first when the boulder is removed. He's seemingly unconscious but his Wayfinder releases a blue shine. Feeling strength well up, he opens his eyes.
Donald: No…not yet…I won't give up…
To Hade shock Donald is now walking right towards him determinedly. Donald proceeds to charge only for Hades to smash his rock arm in his face. Donald lands on his back and Hades leaps up to smash both his feet into Donald's stomach so hard it invokes a scream from Donald as well as a loud tremor that rocks the very volcano. Hades is now using Donald as a trampoline, bouncing on him repeatedly, laughing and creating a tremor in Donald's area. Each time Hades bounces Donald screams and tremors get louder and more violent.
Selene covers her face, Scrooge and Storkules cringe in horror, doing their best to look away. Some of the female spectators faint and the gods are shocked with the brutality they're witnessing. Della's beak is wide open in guilt and horror.
Della: "This is all my fault! Donald is fighting so hard to save me! If I hadn't been treating him the way I did this never would've happened!" Tears gush out of Della's eyes. I'm SORRY!
Hades delivers a double knee so hard Donald's screams were at their loudest and he spills a little blood before Hades flies off. The area he was on collapses and Donald falls down. The volcano is rumbling loudly and everyone is screaming in fear.
Hephaestus: This is not good. The fighting is making the volcano unstable. It could blow up any moment!
Scrooge: We shouldn't be here when that happens!
Selene: But unless Donald can muster up a miracle we're gonna be stuck here!
Hades: I just love a dramatic ending!
With sheer willpower Donald flies out just a pillar of fire erupts and proceeds to punch Hades one more time but Hades unleashes a ball of combined fire and ice that engulfs Donald and blasts him. Hades has three massive mountain-like boulders emerge from the platform. Donald slams through one which crumbles and into another with a scream.
Della: DONALD! DONALD!
Donald drops down stumbling forward in agony and Hades is looking increasingly frustrated.
Hades: Your constant persistence is getting annoying! Why won't YOU DIE!?
Hades blasts off fast than a rocket, grabbing Donald's face and smashing him into the boulder, making a crater in it. He taps backwards as Donald gives a pained chuckle before dropping to his knees.
Della: Donald, please no more! Forget about me, forget about all of us! Save yourself!
Donald: No…I will not give up… Donald wobbly stumbles to his feet, still smiling painfully. I promised… I promised I'd always protect you Della… I'm not running away… not this time…
Hades: You should listen to your sister and save yourself. But if you want more pain then I'll give it to you.
Hades blasts forward and the off-screen brutality that makes Donald scream so loud that it echoes through Underworld makes everyone cringe in horror, especially the four closest to Donald.
Scrooge: Lad! Stay strong!
Storkules: We must do something! Friend Donald also has physical limitations!
Selene: We can't do anything because of this stupid barrier! As long as it's up we can't help Donald.
Scrooge: NOOO! DONALD!
Donald is screaming in sheer pain as Hades ruthlessly punches and pounds him through the mountain-like boulder, splitting it half until it crumbles to pieces and Hades last rock and fiery aura punch sends Donald smashing into the last boulder at the very edge.
Donald is at his last breath. He's terribly bruised and parts of him are bleeding, his mage outfit is tattered, his top jacket diagonally torn in half, his dark blue have become half sleeved and he's covered in burns too. He's barely able to open his eyes.
Donald: I…need more power… An idea comes to mind and he speaks in said mind. "Della, Uncle Scrooge, Storkules, Selene! Can you guys hear me."
Della: Della gasps in shock. What the-!?
Scrooge, Storkules and Selene were also shocked, their beaks wide open.
Scrooge: Did I just-!? "Donald!?"
Storkules: "By Helios' chariot! What magic be this!?"
Selene: "Are you speaking in our minds, Donald!? How!?"
Donald: "It's another spell that I picked up from Merlin. It's a long story. Listen…I can't win like this! Hades is too strong and I'm all out of energy! I need you guys to lend me yours!"
Della: "Lend you our energy! What do you mean, Donald!?"
Donald: "None of you have to be Mages for this to work. I need you guys to raise your hands towards me and lend me as much energy as you can spare. If I can absorb it all, I might have enough power to defeat this monstrous maniac once and for all. Just raise your hands towards me and I'll absorb as much as you can spare."
Unsurprisingly Storkules have absolute trust in Donald raises both his palms towards him.
Storkules: If my energy can help you my new best friend then I will gladly sacrifice everything I can possibly give! I lend you power Magnanimous Chum Donald!
Storkules is surrounded green aura which is leaving him, phasing through the barrier and engulfing Donald. Selene smiles proudly at her brother and stretches an open palm in Donald's direction too, sending green aura as well.
Selene: Here! If my brother has the guts to do it then I definitely do too! You can have my energy too, Donald!
Zeus sees through his little hole what's happening and he's furious.
Zeus: SON! DAUGHTER! HAVE YOU GONE MAD!? WHAT'RE YOU BOTH DOING!? DON'T SHARE YOUR POWERS WITH A LOWLY MORTAL!
Poseidon, Hephaestus & Hera: SHUT UP, ZEUS!
Zeus cringes and just keeps his mouth shut underneath his prison.
Scrooge smiles determinedly and stretches his hand out. Green aura leaves his body.
Scrooge: This old man has plenty of vim and vigour to spare! I know you can do it nephew! I have faith in you Donald!
Donald feels the three streams of aura engulf him and he surges with new power and energy, though it's not enough.
Donald: "Della, I need your energy too! This isn't enough!"
Della is still stuck against her slab of rock, ice and fire. She looks broken and unable to life her head up, her eyes exhausted.
Della: "I can't Donald… I'm not strong enough to help you… I'm too weak…"
Donald: "You're not weak Della! Don't say that! You're energy is the last I need to make a difference!"
Della wells up with tears and grits her teeth.
Della: "But what if it's not enough, Donald! What if you still lose!? It'll all be my fault!"
Donald: "No it won't! And I won't lose! If you lend your energy I'll finally have everything I need to stop Hades once and for all! Please, Della, I need you!"
Hearing how much Donald needs him was the wakeup call for Della, widening her eyes as she recalls the support her twin brother needed over the 1 year.
Donald: DELLA, PLEEEAASE!
Hades rams his fist in Donald and he screams once more. Della snaps and tears fly out of her eyes.
Della: NOOOOO!
She musters up the strength to break one of her wrists free, take out her Wayfinder and aim it right at Donald.
Della: I'M NOT LEAVING YOU THIS TIME! HERE, BRO! Here's all the energy I can give! But you'd better promise me that you'll win!
Her Wayfinder glows and unlike the others she's surrounded in brown aura. The energy leaves her body and engulfs Donald completely. Della's energy causes Donald's Wayfinder to glow and suddenly he blacks out for a bit.
(Vision)
The scenery changes to a grassy cliffside and Donald's vision is zooming in on a figure standing on the edge and facing him. When his vision gets close Donald is staring right at the stern and serious figure of his deceased father, Quackmore Duck who he lost when he was 10.
Quackmore: My son…the time has come to awaken your true power.
(End of Vision)
When Donald comes to he's shocked with what he saw.
Donald: Father…
Donald's eyes are now glowing bright blue and his face becomes boiling red again with comical anger but Hades is laughing maniacally to mad with power to notice. He doesn't even notice another thundercloud forming above them.
Hades: You lasted far longer than I expected! But now your final hour has arrived!
Hades proceeds to finish Donald off with one final punch. Then to his sheer shock Donald grabbed his fist with one hand. The Mage gives off a loud shout and releases a huge electrical blue aura that forces Hades to reel back in shock and surprise.
Hades: WHAT!? Where is he getting all this energy from!?
Donald removes himself from the boulder giving Hades a deadly glare with his glowing eyes.
Donald: YOUR HOUR has arrived!
Hades is in fear as Donald stalks towards him while one by one, the other 4 get exhausted after lending all their energy to Donald.
Scrooge: It's all up to you now lad…hope this counts as repentance. Scrooge drops to his face in exhaustion.
Selene: That's all I can give…the rest is you Donald… Selene collapses and falls on her back.
Storkules: I put my faith in you now, Donald… Storkules drops to his face to.
Della: I know you can do it…Donnie… Della's face drops down exhaustively.
Hades growls in anger and summons his ice sword to impale Donald with, only for the powered up sailor to catch it effortlessly when it's inches from his face. Hades is now struggling and unable to free his sword from Donald's grip.
Donald: I see your…point.
To Hades great shock and fear his ice sword is snapped right in half and Donald has the God of Death gasping for air with a punch to the gut that actually caused damage from within and then sends him flying with a blast of electricity. Hades smashes into a collapsing boulder far from Donald who lands on the floor.
Donald: This time you're finished Hades.
The thunderclouds above send out another bolt of lightning that engulfs Donald and he gives off the loudest shout he could possibly ever give off. His scream resonates throughout the entire underworld and everyone is stunned by the blue flash of electrical light he's engulfed and electricity surges from his area as he slowly transforms. His feathers change colour a little and so does his eyes.
Scrooge, Storkules and Selene (who lifts her head up) manage to open their eyes enough, widening in amazement when they see the transformation Donald is going through.
Scrooge: Donald…
Storkules: By the gods…
Della opens her eyes slowly as well to see Donald's transformation.
Della: Brother.
Donald's power was causing the volcano to rumble and the loud shout he released creates an explosion of electricity from him that causes multiple pillars of fire to erupt away from the platform and out the volcano. An earthquake shakes the entire Underworld.
The flash and smoke subsides to reveal the boulder behind Donald has shattered into rubble and he's now transformed into his 100% true power state for the first time e ver. His feathers have changed colour a little, now they're a combination of white-blue (still mostly white), a bright blue aura has surrounded his body, an enormous amount of electricity crackles around his body more than it has ever done before, his mage hat reappears in a blast of blue light on his head and he looks up to reveal his eyes aren't glowing bright blue but rather the iris of both eyes have changed from black to shiny royal blue. His Mage outfit is now repaired and untattered, though the bruises remain.
The spectators of Underworld ghosts are in fear and horror of what they're seeing and quickly faze through the volcano walls, fleeing for their afterlives while the crowd of Greek followers are giving a round of loud applause.
Greek Follower: Thunder! Thunder! Thunder! Thunder! Thunder!
The Gods are also amazed.
Hera: By Odin's beard!
Hephaestus: This changes…everything…
Poseidon: I've never seen this kind of magic before.
Zeus: What do you mean!? Tell me what's happening!
Poseidon: This mortal isn't just any mage. He…is the Mage of Thunder!
Scrooge, Storkules and Selene's beaks and eyes are wide open in shock and amazement, especially Scrooge.
Selene: Whoa…
Storkules: Incredible…Donald, you're incredible!
Scrooge: Bless me bagpipes…it cannae be…
Selene: What is it Scrooge?
Scrooge: Has Donald become what I think he's? The Mage of legends…The Mage of Thunder…?
However, none could be more amazed than Della right now.
Della: Whoa…is that really my brother…?
Hades gets up to stare at Donald in horror and astonishment.
Hades: What is this!? What have you become!?
Donald: I've become your worst nightmare…
Donald aims his fingers towards the barrier without even looking, sending out a streams of electricity that engulf the magical wall and completely shatters it to pieces, much to the amazement of Scrooge, Storkules and Selene.
He then aims a blast at Della, destroying the slab she was stuck against. Della is set free at last and she slowly drops down. In an instant Donald appears to catch her in a bridal style. Della looks at her brother in astonishment.
Della: Donald…is that really you bro?
Donald: Donald smiles kindly. It's still me underneath all this, Della. So be honest…how do I look?
Della: You look… She gives a sweet smile. You look really electrifying.
Donald: Thanks for believing in me Sis.
Della: I knew you could do it Donald. I just knew it.
Donald begins flooding Della with his life force, engulfing her in blue energy that fully repairs her tattered pilot outfit, the sleeve returns, her arm is snapped back into place and the burns disappear. The only things that remain are the bruises on her face. Della is stupefied with what just happened to her.
Hades proceeds to smash the Mage of Thunder only for him to disappear in a micro-second and the only thing Hades succeeded in punching was the floor.
Hades: What!? Where'd he go!?
Donald reappeared right in front of Scrooge, Storkules and Selene. He hands his sister over to his uncle on one knee before holding out three fingers to send three beams of energy that engulf his uncle and the two gods, healing their injuries and they feel their strength return. They were so shocked they didn't know what to say except smile at Donald who smiles back at his family and new friends.
He instantly reappears in the centre, distances near an astonished Hades. Donald holds out his hand and Save the Queen flies into it. He holds up his staff and sends out a beam of electricity that splits into bullets that shatters the shackles imprisoning Hera, Poseidon and Hephaestus much to their joy.
Hades: What!? No!
Storkules: He's freeing everyone!
The bullets also destroy the shackles restraining all the Greek people. They all let out screams of joy and gratitude to Donald as they get up and relish their freedom. The bullets also rain down on Zeus' mini-mountain prison and completely shatter it. Zeus drops down on his small platform, unable to process what just happened to him.
Storkules: Father! Mother!
Selene: Mom! Dad!
Donald then fires an electric blast at the volcano wall and destroys part of it, creating a large hole for everyone to escape through.
Donald: Everyone, get out through there. I'll put an end to Hades.
Zeus: Zeus is outraged. How dare you!? You have no right to order me around mortal!
Hera: ZEUS! IS NOW SERIOUSLY THE TIME!?
Zeus cringes, if there's anyone who's the boss of him when they're angry it's his wife. He looks to his freed people, the other gods and the powered up Hades and is forced to remember what's at stake. He grumbles and summons his lightning javelin, summoning two large thunderclouds, one in front of him and the gods and the other floating in front of the people.
Zeus: Fine! Everyone! On my clouds, we must leave!
Storkules: Father! We will stay here! Sister Selene and I have unfinished business with Hades that needs attending immediately.
Selene: Don't think of it as us helping mortals Dad. Think of it as us settling the score with Hades.
Zeus: Zeus grumbles a little but relents. Fine!
Hera: Storkules! Selene! Both of you be careful!
All the gods and people get on the clouds and fly out through the massive hole. Donald is stood facing Hades on his own with his family and friends ready to intervene if necessary, though Donald can't help but be worried.
Donald: Della, Uncle Scrooge, Storkules, Selene, this place is about blow! You guys need to get out of here too!
The four of them show no fear and just give off smiles of determination.
Storkules: A true friend must always stick by his friends 'till the very end!
Selene: What he said! Besides, we started this together! We're ending it together!
Scrooge: That's right! This time we're sticking by to the very end lad!
Della: This time we're not leaving you Donald! We're with you all the way.
Donald: Donald doesn't show it but he's touched. You guys… He gives a smile. Alright, then!
Donald then turns back to the enemy before him, his energy and electricity flaring up as he prepares to end this battle.
Donald: It's time to end this!
Hades laughs arrogantly and maniacally.
Hades: It doesn't matter one bit! No matter how much power you absorbed from those idiots, it won't be enough to kill me!
Donald: Donald just scoffs with a smirk. Ha! We'll see about that! You won't really know until I try.
The entire volcano is about to explode and it's shaking violently. Rocks are erupting from Donald and Hades area as their energies collide and the rest are struggling to maintain their balance.
Scrooge: It's now or never Donald!
Donald: RIGHT!
Donald blasts off and so does Hades who summons his fire sword. The both of them have one final clash. The Mage of Thunder and God of Death exchange rapid strikes with their staff and sword. Hades barely horizontally blocks one powerful strike from Donald, the Mage of Thunder deflects a thrust, their swords meet and bounce before they exchange more swings, causing a surge of electricity and fire. Donald and Hades finally meet in weapon's lock and get into a power struggle.
Hades: You…cannot…defeat…ME!
Donald: Don't be so sure! I've got the power of my family and friends on my side! For their sake I will not lose!
To Hades shock Donald is pushing him back and surging with electrical power. The Mage of Thunder flares up, releasing a shout as his aura explosively expands. Save the Queen glows electrical blue with power as the wings enlarge, covered in aura and light that horrifies Hades. With a vicious shout Donald slices both of Hades' swords and the God of Death stumbles back before being slashed deeply across the chest, making him shout in pain and agony. The God recovers and flies up in rage.
Hades: I will not be defeated!
Dragon Ball Z Movie 10 – Family Kamehameha Theme
Hades releases a massive ball of Fire, Ice, Wind and Earth and it's proceeding to crush Donald who gathers energy as 6 blue orbs of electrifying energy form around him. The aura around him grows larger and larger until the orbs combine into one and Donald determinedly takes aim with his staff.
Donald: ULTIMA!
He unleashes a huge blue beam of electrifying energy that meets the ball of elemental energy in a massive stalemate. Energy was leaking and blasting out from the centre of contact and causing the entire volcano to shake violently as everyone starts to lose balance on their feet. Donald pushes against Hades elemental attack with all his strength, he stands his ground as the struggle and attacks get larger. Hades is laughing wildly as his elemental ball is slowly pushing against Donald's Ultima Spell and the platform they're standing on is slowly crumbling to pieces. Donald keeps increasing his power to push further and Hades keeps doing the same. Donald remains determined as his eyes furrow with righteous rage, his body keeps glowing and swirling with electricity, his eyes glow and his staff engulfed in energy.
Donald: Everyone's depending on me! My family, my friend…they're all counting on me! I won't let them down.
They're locked in a vicious beam stalemate with neither one of them gaining the upper hand and the volcano itself is close to exploding. Hades smirks as he prepares to give one final push.
Hades: NOW DIE DUCK!
He's caught off guard when a large boulder and light blue psychic energy blast smash into him. He remained where he was but he looks down in shock and outrage to see the boulder came from Storkules and the energy blast came from Selene.
Storkules: It's now or never!
Selene: Do it you guys!
Della: Hey, ugly!
Hades looks up to see Della and Scrooge dropping down from above with their respective weapons pulled back and their expressions filled with the desire for payback.
Scrooge: Have at thee monster!
They bring down their weapons and Hades was forced to turn, blocking them both but his attention to Donald was diverted.
Hades: Did you really think a pathetic little sneak attack would hurt me!?
Scrooge: Of course we didn't think it'd hurt you, you idiotic inferno!
Della: This was just a little distraction! NOW BRO!
Della and Scrooge push off to fall down and get caught by Storkules and Selene much to Hades' confusion. That turns into a gasp of horror as he turns around back to Donald, realizing he's been duped.
Donald: NOW!
Thanks to the distraction, Donald ups his power one final time and his Ultima beam grows large enough to neutralize and plough right through Hades' final attack.
Hades: WHAT!? NO!
The beam engulfs Hades and he's screaming in pain as it tears him apart, his rock body surrounded in cracks, his wings disappearing and his ice and fire hands turning organic. At the moment Donald takes flight, blasting right through his own Ultima beam and instantly appears right in front of Hades with Save the Queen reeled back. Hades attempts to punch him but Donald was able to automatically dodge at the right moment and attack.
Donald: Now, the real fight begins Hades!
Donald thrusts his staff forward and it impales…right into Hades' rock body. The God of Death could only choke in shock as his body turns back to normal and Donald impales Save the Queen further inside. The 4 elemental rings disintegrate and cracks form around Hades' body.
Donald: I won't…let you GET AWAY WITH THIS!
He slashes his mighty staff up and blue light emanates from Hades' cracks, beak and eyes as he shakes around violently and releases a scream of horrible pain as he's thrown up and explodes right before Donald, blowing him away and ending his tyranny. Eventually the volcano erupts.
Everyone that had escaped outside watched a massive pillar of lava erupt from the volcano. All the gods and Greek followers gasped in sheer horror and shock as Hades' castle-like volcano had crumbled down into rubble. The eruption had subsided but they were unable to express any words…the volcano had erupted with Donald, Scrooge, Della, Storkules and Selene inside it. They had feared the worst until they see balls of light dropping down far from above and smash into the ground right in front of them. They see it was Della, Scrooge, Storkules and Selene surrounded in a barrier spell that acted as a ball. The now pleased and relieved Greek followers let out cheers of joy as the Gods run over to the four of them quickly as the barrier had been dispelled for them to lie on the ground with their eyes closed, groaning in pain.
Hera quickly places her hand above Della and surrounds her in green energy. Della is engulfed in light as all her wounds her and her clothes are repaired. She slowly starts to come to and soon Hera does the same with Scrooge and her children, healing their wounds and repairing their clothes. Scrooge and Della lifted themselves up and rubbed their heads and Storkules and Selene got up next. They look to see their mother right in front of them, smiling.
Storkules: Mother!
Selene: Mom!
The God siblings share a hug with their mother and were surprised when Zeus came up from behind and rubbed their heads gently with a proud look.
Della: Boy…that was something…
Scrooge: That was a close one…
Hephaestus: How in the underworld did you survive such an eruption!
Poseidon: And what has happened to Hades!?
The four heroes all exclaim with joy.
Della: Hades is gone! My brother did it! He actually really did it!
Storkules: Yes he has! Friend, Donald fought Hades in one glorious, climactic battle and emerged victorious!
Selene: And he saved us from the volcano eruption too!
Scrooge: Right before Hades blew up in front of him Donald casted barrier spell on us. It protected us!
Della: Della gasps in shock, realizing something. Wait! Where is Donald!?
They realize Donald is nowhere in sight and frantically look around for him. Before they could make any theories an unconscious Donald drops right in the middle of them all. When the small dust cloud subsides they are shocked to see Donald lying there on his back, unconscious, bruised, tattered and no longer in his true power state. He's still in his mage outfit and his mage hat lies right next to him.
Della: Donald!
Scrooge: Lad!
Storkules: Friend Donald!
Della and Scrooge quickly run over to Donald along with the other gods. Scrooge picks up his mage and Della lifts Donald by his head crying again and desperately trying to shake him awake.
Della: Donald! Donald, please wake up! Don't you dare die on me Donnie! I won't leave you! Not this time! Please, open your eyes!
She gasps joyfully when Donald move a little and make a sound.
Scrooge: He's alive!
Zeus: What!? But how could a mere, pathetic mortal have survived a volcanic explosion.
Scrooge: Because this mere mortal is my nephew!
Della: Selene! Hera! Please! Use your powers on him before he dies!
Selene: I'm on it!
Hera: I shall be glad to help this brave hero!
Selene and Her quickly run over to Donald, bend down and place their hands above him, surrounding him in green energy and light that completely heals all his wounds, bruises and repairs his outfit. Donald's eyes begin to move and he slowly opens them up with a bit of groan to see Della and Scrooge looming above, their beaks wide open in happiness.
Donald: Della…Uncle Scrooge…?
Della & Scrooge: Donald/Nephew!
Della and Scrooge jump onto him giving him a massive hug that surprises him, and puffs his cheeks and almost cracks some bones in his body.
Della: You're alive!
Donald: Can't…breathe!
Della and Scrooge quickly let go sheepishly and Donald is on his tail feathers catching his breath.
Donald: What happened? How did I do? Did I get him?
Della grabs his shoulder with a proud smile.
Della: BRO! Did you ever! You completely blew him up! You won!
Scrooge: You were amazing lad! That last blast and your final attack was brilliant!
Donald: Donald smiles in amazement. How the heck did I win!? I didn't know I had it in me!
Della: I certainly knew!
Selene: Donald! That was amazing! She lightly punches Donald. You are one electrifying duck, you know that!
Donald: Donald chuckles sheepishly. Um…thanks.
It was at that moment Storkules snatches Donald, bringing him in for a massive bear hug much to his charigin.
Storkules: Donald! You have saved us all! Come here!
Storkules lies on the ground hugging him as tight as possible while rolling with Donald in comical pain.
Donald: Sure…no problem buddy!
It was at that moment the people had begun chanting.
Greek Followers: Donald! Donald! Donald! Donald! Donald! Donald!
Donald immediately leaves Storkules arms to look at the crowd of people that are chanting his name in shock. Della, Scrooge, Storkules and Selene stand with him. Zeus and the other gods stand with the crowd of people, Zeus is clearly bemused and Hephaestus has his arms crossed.
Hephaestus: To think…one mortal warrior could posses such power.
Hera: His powers seem to be even stronger than yours my husband.
Zeus: Hey! No they aren't! My powers are far superior and always will be!
Hera: Thank you for saving us heroes!
Poseidon: Poseidon spreads his arms. Let us remember in myth, legend and song, the great Donald Duck…Mage of Thunder, Sailor of the Seven Seas, Hero of Ithaquack! And not to mention his trusty sidekicks: Scrooge McDuck and Della Duck!
The people are all chanting Donald's name and erupting with cheers which he can't help but be shocked at with his beak wide open in amazement.
Scrooge: Hang on a minute! I'm not a side-
Della places a hand on her uncle's shoulder and he calms down.
Della: Let it go, Uncle Scrooge. Let's let Donald have his big moment. I'd say he's more than earned it after everything he's been through and done for us today, don't you?
Scrooge takes a good look at the surprise on his nephew's face and can't help but smile at the sight of getting the praise he deserves and had struggled to earn because he and Della were hogging all the glory most of the time. He nods to his niece.
Scrooge: You're right lass. He has earned this.
Donald: Why are all these people saying my name?
Della: Della and Scrooge smile at Donald on both sides. Isn't it obvious bro? They're cheering for you!
Donald: They're…cheering for me?
Scrooge: They certainly are lad…because you're officially a hero.
Donald: ME!? A hero? Donald looks down nodding in doubt. I…I'm not so sure about that. I don't think I deserve this kind of praise. I'm no hero.
Della roughly wraps her arm around Donald, much to his surprise.
Della: Come on, you're kidding right. You just took on and defeated the God of the Underworld.
Scrooge: And look at all the lives you saved, laddie, including ours!
Selene: Listen to all those cheering people in front of us Donald.
Donald looks at all the people in front of him cheering his name. They were praising him and calling him their hero.
Selene: You don't get to decide whether you're a hero or not, they do.
Storkules: And the minds of our people have been made up. You're their hero, whether you want to be or not.
Della: You're not just their hero Donald…you're our hero too…you're MY hero.
The warm smile on his sister's face and those very words he hasn't heard for a while melts his heart. Donald smiles at Scrooge, Storkules and Selene who all return it before looking back to the crowd of people continuously cheering for all of them now. Donald had finally made amends with his family and earned the love and praise he had been yearning for, for a year.
