Alice started to explain how she was rescued by a strange man who was fishing with his son when they found her.

"The little boy just sat there with his hair in his eyes, playing with his trucks. For him, it was an ordinary day...But for me, it was the first worst day of my life." Alice finishes her tale as Peter looks with surprise and sympathy.

"What was this guy's name?" Peter asks.

"I have no idea." Alice replies.

"What do you mean you have no idea?" Peter questions. "The guy rescued you and you didn't ask for a name?"

"It'll all make more sense when we arrive." Alice promises him. "Go down the road a mile, take a right, go two miles, and there's a roadside diner. Consider it your first stop down the rabbit hole." She says whilst reaching over to play with his hair.

Back at Crows headquarters, Jacob and Kate are there with Sofie.

"It doesn't make sense. Why would he go to Alice?" Sophie asks, not understanding.

"Because he's hurt. He want's answers, and probably figures she's the only one who will give him real answers." Kate guesses.

"She's messing with his mind!" Jacob states as he slams his fist against the desk. "We need to find them."

"I say we should get a team together, and find them." Sophie tells them.

"No. No. For now, it's just the three of us." Jacob tells them.

"Sir, it's Alice. I don't need to read you her resume." Sophie replied.

"And I don't need Peter to be caught in the crossfire." Jacob states when Kate's phone goes off and sees the tracker inside Peter's suit has been activated.

"Well, it won't be a problem, considering that he's not even in the city." Kate tells them. "They're heading west on the interstate."

"Let's go." Jacob says as he starts to head out.

Peter and Alice made it to 'Dusty's Roadside Diner' and were sitting in a cubical away from others and Peter removed the handcuffs to not draw attention. Especially since if he needed to, he knew he could chase her down with ease.

A waiter comes over and hands over their order of cheeseburger and fries.

"Oh, can we get a few drinks over here, please?" Alice asks as he walks off to get them.

"Okay, what does this place have to do with anything?" Peter asks.

"Well, when your life unfolds into a nightmare, you pray your dreams will take you elsewhere." Alice explains. "I used to dream of running away with you and Kate to a place like this, and then my hunger would wake me. Alas, it wasn't meant to be." She says and takes a drink.

"You're supposed to be my sister. Why didn't you come home after you escaped? You obviously got out. What happened to that man?"

"Down, down, down the rabbit hole." Alice whispers.

"Look, I just want straight answers. Not some stupid clips and phrases from a children's book." Peter tells her. "Because I know by now, they reactivated the tracker in my suit. So, you're running out of time."

"As I was saying, I remember like it was yesterday." Alice says. "The toys, the books, the treats. Upstairs, there was a room like a child's wonderland. It was Mouse's room. He went by Johnny then."

She explains how this man's son had a skill in order to duplicate anyone's voice he hears. The reason that Johnny covers his face is because his face had scars over it because of some accident.

And that the man who promised to have called the cops about her whereabouts was lying.

When she tried to get away, he threw her in a locked room in the basement of his home and discovered a skin face in the sink.

"And that was just the first day." Alice told him.

"Wow..." Peter whispers, no idea what to say to that.

Back in Gotham, Mary went to Wayne Industries to find Kate and Peter and is met by Luke.

"Who are you?" Luke asks her.

"Mary, Kate and Peter's soon to be ex-stepsister, and you are?" Mary asks.

"Kate's associate, assistant, real estate person." Luke quickly lies, finding a good lie. "Kate and Peter aren't here. You want to leave them a message?"

"I'm here!" Peter says as he approached them.

"Peter?" Luke asks.

"What?" Peter asks, confused why they're confused what he's doing here.

"Peter!" Mary cried as she ran over to hug him. "I'm sorry that I was born from the Wicked Witch of Gotham." Mary apologizes as Luke makes a drinking gesture to explain why she's like this. "And I understand why you've been avoiding all of us, but I'm totally on your side. I can't believe that mom would ever do something so awful."

"It's okay." Peter says as he pats her on the back.

"Oh my god, do you think she killed that deer, too?" Mary asks.

"Whoa, whoa. Lets try starting from the beginning, shall we?" Peter asks of her, trying to figure out what she's saying.

"Sir, I know this is completely inappropriate for a subordinate to ask her commander, but are you okay?" Sophie asks Jacob as they keep driving to find Peter and Alice.

"Catherine and I are going through a rough a rough patch. And this thing with Peter is getting out of hand." Jacob comments.

"Copy that, apologies, sir." Sophie replies. "I was under the impression it had to do with Alice."

"It turns out it does." Jacob replies. "Catherine paid the DNA analysts to say the skull fragments found were Beth's."

"And they weren't?" Sophie asks.

"And I just confirmed that she was responsible for the bomb on Loeb Bridge targeting Alice." Jacob continues.

"So Kate was right this whole time."

"We don't know what's right." Jacob states.

"Peter seemed convinced enough to trust her." Sophie says.

"Yeah, well, the only way to settle this for good is to catch Alice, run her DNA and let science tell us the truth." Jacob replies, not wanting to get into that right now.

Kate was riding her motorcycle when she got a ping on Peter's tracker.

Alice and Peter was just eating their food as Peter's trying to stomach what he was told.

"This is so good. Sure you don't want some?" Alice asks, holding her burger out to Peter.

"Why?" Peter asks Alice. "Why was there a face in the sink? I mean, you survived a crash, washed up only to be picked up by Hannibal Lecter, then keeps you prisoner. Was he trying to kill you, skin you?"

"Well, I wasn't a prisoner." Alice tells him.

"And what were you to him?" Peter asks, confused now.

"I was a friend." Alice answers. "Friend, I've learned, takes on a different meaning, depending on who you ask."

It turns out that the man who kidnapped her actually wanted her to befriend his son. And that's why she was kept.

"Little Johnny didn't have any friends, and then I came along." Alice finish explaining and finishes her drink.

"So what was the skin for?" Peter asks, unsure if he does want to know.

"Experiments. Trying to hide Mouse's hideous face." Alice answers with a chuckle. "He thought if he could find a way to make him look normal the ridicule would end and he'd live happily ever after."

Peter was going to ask more about this Mouse character when his mind became more fuzzy. "What...what did you do?"

Alice just waves her hand in front of Peter as he falls unconscious.

Kate, Sophie, and Jacob made it to the truck stop and is attacked by the Wonderland gang.

The three of them take cover as they hear Dogson yelling orders.

They split up and Kate shoots a tank which blows up and took them all down whilst Jacob and Sophie keep them down.

Kate marched up to Dogson and slams him into the car. "Where's my brother?!"

"You already know that." Dogson states. "I joined the Crows to make Gotham better, but your father divided it. The city's not safe. The wealthy are safe, and you people are too blind to see it." He then turns his attention to Jacob. "Just like you were too blind to see your own daughter."

Kate knocks him unconscious and now they have no idea where to find Peter who can be anywhere.
