*the next day*
I haven't slept a minute. I can't take my gaze away from the screen. Things are getting bad and it's just a matter of time until Prim faces the Careers.
Peeta tries to comfort me as I worry and worry but it's no use. I will never stop worrying about Prim. I have always worried about her.
Her group stays in the cave. Ellia, Paislee, and Finn are still not at full strength. Mostly all they do is eat and sleep and Prim and Finn kiss a lot and cuddle. Prim's face says it all. She really loves him. The camera cuts between each group, not staying on one group for very long. Nothing interesting happens until close to dusk.
Pearl and Tassel had been on the move all day. They were hunting. Hunting the other tributes. When I saw the two fourteen year old girls I knew this would be bad. Pearl and Tassel had found Autumn and Ameilia.
Amelia saw them first. She quietly got Autumn's attention and they both grabbed their weapons. Two knives.
They both tried to hide but Pearl saw them. They attacked at full force. The girls ran for it. They were fast but not fast enough. Tassel caught up to them and sent a trident through Autumn's back, killing her instantly. Amelia froze long enough for Pearl and Tassel to catch up to her. She fought but she wasn't good enough to defend herself against the trained killers. Pearl used Amelia's own weapon against her. Pearl managed to get the knife out of Amelia's hand and sent it through her neck. The cannon fired.
Pearl and Tassel started to celebrate. High Fiving one another and cheering. Two more kills and they were closer to winning the Games. Pearl held her arms out, indicating that she wanted a hug. Tassel went into her arms and put his own around her. That's when a cannon fired and he fell to the ground face first. A knife was protruding out of his back. Pearl wiped her hands on her pants and walked away with a smile on her face. She killed him.
