In Konoha, Naruto was packing some stuff up for his trip to the Feudal era which the hokage had it covered it up by making it a D rank mission to clean and help take care of the shrine. Once he was done he heads out but on his way there he runs into Sakura whom seemed annoyed with him. "Naruto you baka! You're going on another mission again to the shrine! You should be back at the training fields and continue to be Sasuke kun's measuring stick!" She screeches at him making Naruto roll his eyes.

"She's so annoying I swear I would rather go against Yura again then have to deal with this pink haired banshee." Naruto thinks to himself as he walks away as Sakura was about to punch him when a hand stopped her's and it wasn't Naruto's. Naruto looks and his eyes widen when he sees it was Inuyasha whom had his ears covered up with a hat that Mrs. Higurashi loaned him. "Come near Naruto again and I will beat the crap out of you! Human female or not!" He yells at her as Sakura whimpers and she even peed herself as she ran away.

Inuyasha smirks when he smelled the pee. "Heh she's such a little wuss if she had wet herself after being threatened by me she's so weak." Inuyasha says as Naruto sighs and nods his head in agreement. "Yeah she is." Naruto says and then they walked towards the shrine together. "Oh by the way Inuyasha I got you something." Naruto tells him making him raise an eyebrow.

"Oh really? Is it one of the jewel shards?" He asked him making Naruto chuckle. "Nope but I'm sure it's something you're gonna like." Naruto says in a sing song tone making the half demon wondered what he meant. Hours later they were on a battlefield by some bodies which Naruto simply ignores as he pours the hot water in the ramen cup and hands it to Inuyasha with some chopsticks as he grins at him. "Here ya go." Naruto says to him as Inuyasha takes the food and begins to eat it as he moans at the taste making Naruto grin.

"Yes now Inuyasha and I can eat ramen together!" Naruto thinks to himself cheerfully since he's been actually been wanting to find something to do with Inuyasha and bond with him more since they barely ever had a chance to hang out or have fun and he wanted to get to know him more since they will be working with each other to find the other jewel shards for who knows how long. "Ramen addict." Kurama coughs out making Naruto mentally glare at the demon fox.

"Oh like you would know after ramen is the food of the gods dattebayo!" Naruto says to him mentally as he sees Inuyasha had finished with the ramen cup as Naruto was eating his own while he did this Ryoko was eating some kitty treats he brought over for her as well as she now had a scar over her right eye which was a results while she was fighting against a demon as she was also wearing a cute little blue bandanna around her neck.

Naruto smiles at Ryoko and pets her he then turns to the field of corpses and frowns. "I wonder how this happened?" Naruto thinks to himself making Inuyasha shrug a bit not really knowing himself. Suddenly though everything went dark making Naruto frown at this. "Strange is it gonna rain? But it was sunny a few seconds ago." Naruto says making Inuyasha stand up and grab his sword while a pink balloon with eyes and a mouth and arms appears. "Hand over the jewel, the jewel or your life." The balloon says in a childish voice as Inuyasha didn't seemed at all amused.

He then smacked the balloon away making it spin around and then there was a puff of smoke and a young boy with a puffy tail and pointed ears and and Fox feet and he was wearing a kimono. Inuyasha goes over to him and grabs Shippo by his tail. "Hmm, feisty little thing aren't you? Nice tail looks like a badger or a squirrel." He says making Kurama sweats drops. "Seriously? How can he not tell that kid is a Kitsune a Fox demon like me the next thing I know your boyfriend is gonna say I'm a nine tailed rabbit." He says making Naruto roll his eyes.

"Oh will you shut up! For the last time Kurama Inuyasha isn't my boyfriend he's my friend!" Naruto yells at him while a blush appears on his face as he had an angry pout. Kurama howls with laughter at that. "Yeah sure and I'm the the first hokage." He says and then continues to howl with laughter making Naruto blush with embarrassment and then blocks him out. Naruto then sees Shippo rummaging through his bag after escaping Inuyasha when he finds the glass container with the jewel shards he grins.

And then disappears but then Inuyasha and Naruto sees a skull with a tail hopping away making them both sweat drop. "That's gotta be the worst disguise." Naruto says to Inuyasha whom nodded his head in agreement as he then cracks his knuckles and punches Shippo in the head causing him to have a bump.

Shippo was now on the ground pouting to himself his arms were crossed as he sits Naruto was using a disinfectant spray on his bump. "So why did you try to steal the jewel shard from us?" Naruto asked him making Shippo stay quiet for a few seconds and then he tells Naruto and Inuyasha everything. He told them that not that long ago his father was killed by the two evil thunder demon brothers known as Hiten and his younger brother Manten.

Shippo told them that they killed his father because he had a shard of the jewel on him for reasons he didn't know but after killing him they skinned him and then turned him into a pelt coat which Manten now wore around his waist not only that but it turned out the two brothers were the ones responsible for the number of corpses near them.

Naruto was walking with Inuyasha as Shippo was riding on Naruto's back. "I can't believe they would do something so cruel just for the jewel shard." Naruto says to him as Shippo nods his head. "Yeah and I need the shards so I can be strong enough to fight them." Shippo says to him making Naruto frown. "This kid kinda reminds of Sasuke in a way just less gloomy and emoish." Naruto thinks to himself he then sees Inuyasha and Shippo fighting again making him resist to roll his eyes.

Inuyasha then gets trapped under a statue caused by Shippo's fox magic and he even uses a seal on it so he can't take the statue off until someone to take it off. "Shippo come on you shouldn't be doing that to Inuyasha!" Naruto says scolding the small fox demon. "Normally I wouldn't pull tricks on people like you Naruto but forgive me." He says and then he hits the back of his head making Naruto confused as he then sees Shippo using his fox fire.

"Shippo what the heck are you doing?!" Naruto asked him as he pushed him away and Shippo smirks and reveals he had the shards again. "Hah with these I can use them to lure in the Thunder brothers." He says and then he runs off making Naruto gain a tic mark making him feel annoyed. "Why that little he took the shards again!" Naruto yells out and grabs his bow and arrows and chases after the young fox demon.

"Wait! Naruto! You can't just leave me stuck like this!" He yells at him but Naruto didn't hear him. Meanwhile at a stream Manten was combing through the few strands of hair he had left. He wished he could have more hair so he can have more luck to attract women like his older brother can he then heard some noises and looks and sees a familiar young fox demon.

When Shippo looks at his father's dead body which the demon now wore as a fur pelt Shippo attacks him making Shippo drop the container where the jewel shards were when Manten saw them he automatically threatens Shippo to hand them to him but then an arrow was shot as it got him in the snout making Manten yell out in pain. Shippo looks and sees Naruto holding a bow and getting ready to shoot another arrow at the demon. "Shippo get back now and bring the shards with you as well!" Naruto yells out to him Shippo gulps and nods his head as he runs towards Naruto while Manten begins to chase after him.

Naruto stares at the demon before him and sees that he had two fragments of the jewel in his forehead Naruto shoots another arrow grazing him a bit and making two more hairs fall out when Naruto saw that he was getting upset he automatically pales. "This isn't good, Shippo hide now!" Naruto yells to him making Shippo's eyes widen as he was about to say something when a cold glare sent towards him by the blond haired ninja shut him up quickly as he gulps and runs away.

After he was gone Naruto turns his attention back to Manten whom ended up shooting a bolt of lightning at Naruto whom dodges it but ends up falling on the ground and hitting his head hard causing him to lose consciousness. After that Shippo runs over to Naruto and tries to wake him up but then when he saw Manten approaching them he runs away feeling scared as he hides in the tall grass with the jewel shards that he took close to himself.

When Manten got close to Naruto he looked at him and holds his face looking him over as he smirks and blushes. "Heh for a male he's pretty cute." Manten says and then Shippo sees him forming a cloud and flying off with Naruto whom was still unconscious and completely unaware of the danger he was in. When Shippo saw this he automatically ran towards where Inuyasha is since he knew that he couldn't do it alone.

Meanwhile back with Inuyasha

He was still stuck under the statue as Myoga was trying to free him from said statue by pulling the peel off but sadly nothing seems to work making Inuyasha annoyed. "Oh when I see that fox again I'm going to shave his tail and then turn it into a scarf!" Inuyasha thinks to himself in a dark manner suddenly Shipp appears making Inuyasha glare at him.

Shippo then removes the seal freeing Inuyasha whom then hits him in the head repeatedly. Inuyasha then grabs Shippo and shakes him up and down until the jewel shards are released from him. "Thank goodness. It's safe." He says holding the container that had the jewel shards inside. "Would you forget that for awhile? Naruto's been abducted by the Thunder brothers. So shouldn't you go after him?" Shippo tells him making Inuyasha's eyes widen at that.

He then turns to Shippo and sends him a nasty glare at him. "The same two brothers who killed your father abducted Naruto? You let 'em get away?" Inuyasha asked him feeling angry at him. Even though he wouldn't say it out loud he actually cared about Naruto. When Shippo didn't answer him that gave Inuyasha the answer he needed. "Master Inuyasha we should go save Naruto after all the Thunder brothers have never been known to keep a beautiful girl or boy for too long and once they grow tired of them they simply eat them." Myoga tells him making Inuyasha scowl at that

Inuyasha then drops Shippo on the ground and glares at the Fox demon. "Where are their hide out?" He asked him in a dark tone while Shippo could of sworn he saw his life flash before his eyes.

Back with Naruto he groans as he wakes up and finds himself tied up by his wrists and ankles laying down on a stone bed and he has a cloth tied around his mouth. He struggles a bit in his binds trying to free himself from them when he then stopped when he heard the two brothers talking. "So you were going to use the boy as an ingredient for that hair grower potion mom used to make?" Hiten asked his younger brother outside the room Naruto was in as Naruto stays silent so he can hear more of their conversation.

"Hmmm no that won't do at all after all I heard that there was a half demon whom seeks the jewel as well and was traveling with a priest whom wears bright clothing there's no mistake he's that priest the boy whom is also the reincarnation of that priestess whom protected the shikon jewel fifty years ago, this boy...he can be useful for us." Hiten says with a smirk as he and Manten enters the room looking at Naruto whom covers up his fear with a glare as he just hopped Inuyasha will come for him soon not knowing that Inuyasha was gonna be here in a matter of seconds.
