The Super Avengers

The Super Avengers is my first attempt at a fanfiction, it's a Modern-ish Marvel focus-point, but putting it in a world with a lot of Disney's other stuff, and a lot of my own stuff. The plot deals with The Avengers having to escalate in a world with rising threats regular methods can't defeat. The age of quantity is over. The age of quality has begun.

9. Recruitment 9, Captain Spider

Candidate #9:

Hero Name: Captain Spider.

Real Name: Parker Rogers.

Description: slightly tall, slightly muscular Caucasian teenager, with blue eyes and short strawberry blonde hair. She likes to wear a vulcanized spandex full-bodysuit (armored) that has colors that change based on her mood (why?). Also she has 4, small, spinning, Spider-Shields, and the lenses of her costume have an advanced HUD (might steal design and patent it if possible).

Origin: A mad scientist got a lot of DNA samples. He combined Spider-Man DNA and Captain America DNA, and grew it as an 18 years old girl in just a few days. She was the oldest and tasked with protecting her different clone sisters still growing (it's not a clone, it's a gynoid or artificial organic human, but if I don't say "clone" the commoners get confused). After a few weeks of testing the mad scientist got bored and hit the self destruct button. Black Phantom (with her future knowledge), helped Captain Spider escape in time.

Citizenship: She is a citizen of every country on Earth according to her passports… given to her by Black Phantom.

Powers: Intelligence 3 (potential for more), Strength 6, Speed 3, Durability 4 (6 with shields), Spider-Man Powers 5, Captain America Powers 5, and Fighting Ability 6. Also she has 1 small Captain America shield per limb (where did that metal come from?), they spin and can be used as wheels (power source?), also she has 1 organic web shooter per limb (might give her wearable ones later though). Starting with vibranium-adamantium shields helps her defense and offense a lot (where did her mad scientist get that material?).

Skills: (need work), Military 3, Morale 5, Perception 6, Piloting 2, Speaking 5, Stealth 3, Survival 2, Tactics 1.

Ceiling Turrets: PASSED, used only 2 of her 4 shields to reflect rubber bullets back at the turrets.

Burning Building: PASSED, Spider-Sense is super useful.

Bank Hostages: PASSED, caused a distraction with loud objects, and from behind her 4 tiny shields destroyed all 4 guns the bank robbers had (should tell Cap later 4 small shields might be better than 1 shield.

60 Second Spar: FAILED, vs. Mercury, Captain Spider tried webs which didn't have any effect, then she tried punching which didn't have any effect and made her get close enough for Mercury to win. In retrospect Captain Spider said she should have gone for an electrical cable to zap Mercury.

Red Flags: A little fresh from the clone vat (naïve), but seems to be learning quickly. Has strong attachment to Black Phantom, maybe even feelings she hasn't realized yet. QUIPS!

Deployment: Probationary-Intern Avenger.

Interview Highlight:

Iron Man "Why do you want to join The Avengers."

Captain Spider "I was saved, so I want to save others, I also want to quip a-lot. I have urges from my 2 dads."

Iron Man snickers.

Jean Grey "Please don't call them that or people like Tony won't be professional."

Captain Spider "Roger!"

Black Panther "Was that a catchphrase? How old are you?"

Captain Spider holds up 3 fingers "I'm this many weeks old."
