[Loud Residence: Lisa and Lily's bedroom]

While most of the family was downstairs waiting for their father to make breakfast Lisa on the other hand was barely getting up after a long conversation she had with Professor Magnolia.

"Uaaahhh well that certainly wasn't interesting conversation with Professor Magnolia I'm just glad she's not upset with me."said Lisa to herself as she began recalling the conversation she had with the Professor yesterday.

[Flashback]

A short while after Lisa kicked Lucy out of her bedroom did Professor Magnolia indeed call and immediately Lisa noticed that she did not look like she was in a good mood.

After learning that Lincoln told everything to Professor Magnolia the professor couldn't help but voice her disappointment with the family but was glad that Lisa did not join in with that nonsense.

"I'm not very fond of your family at this moment Ms. Loud but I'm ever so glad you did not join in that foolishness."said Professor Magnolia who was shaking her head in disappointment.

"On that we can agree on Professor since although Lincoln said some means things about me in his journal there nothing but true after all I can be reckless at times as 90% of science is trial and error and besides being called a mad scientist is a badge of honor for me."said Lisa who knew all too well that it's not the first time she's been called the mad scientist so it really didn't bother her at this point.

"So how is Lincoln adjusting to Galar?"asked Lisa who decided to change the subject before it became extremely awkward for both researchers of science.

"Well I should say despite the circumstances after all he cheered up quite a bit after learning about the existence of Pokémon."said Professor Magnolia with a slight chuckle.

"Yes I expected this much from my brother after all who wouldn't be excited learning that monsters you can tame are real."said Lisa who couldn't help but agree after all she could barely contain her excitement when she learned of the existence of Pokemon.

"Yes and tomorrow he will be getting his very own starter Pokemon from none other than the champion himself as Lincoln quickly became friends with Leon's little brother Hop."said Professor Magnolia surprising Lisa as soon as she heard this.

"Wow!...I must say I was not expecting this but I cannot say I am all that surprised after all Lincoln does have a knack for making good friends wherever he goes thanks to his naturally kind nature and willingness to help others."said Lisa who was not expecting hearing that Lincoln would get his very first Pokemon from the champion himself.

"Wow I am honestly impressed as I have a feeling this is not the first or the last time Lincoln will surprise me while he's on his journey."said Lisa as the two researchers of science continued their discussion wondering what Pokemon Lincoln would choose the very next day.

[Flashback End]

As Lisa finish with calling the events from yesterday she heard a ding sound come from her VideoPhone. Ever so curious she decided to check it out as most likely it was a message from the Professor.

As Lisa got up it was revealed that she was wearing the clothes that was considered her normal attire as Lisa considered changing into pajamas a waste of precious time that she could be using for science so she usually wore comfortable clothing to bed.

As Lisa got near the video phone she opened up the message and saw that it was indeed a message from Professor Magnolia revealing a picture of the Pokemon Lincoln chose as his starter.

"Huh...a Sobble. I must say it's a unique and very round choice as water type Pokemon have very few weaknesses especially appear water type like the water lizard Pokemon better known as Sobble."said Lisa who was not expecting Lincoln to make such a solid choice.

"Well I must say I really want to know everything about the water lizards evolution line since their tears are known to cause anyone who hears them to immediately cry since it makes any unfortunate victim feel like they're cutting fresh onions."said Lisa who knew from personal experience that cutting a fresh onion irritates the individual's eyes causing them to water uncontrollably.

"Well I can't wait to see what other Pokemon Lincoln discoverers on his journey."said Lisa who turned off the video phone and decided to go downstairs to get some breakfast as she was indeed hungry after all one needs brain food to keep up the good work when it comes to science.

Meanwhile Rita just begin opening the door to Lincoln's bedroom just as Lisa past her but Rita did not notice that she was having her own little world right now.

"Lincoln... please be safe."thought Rita as she went to the bathroom to clean herself up as the last thing she wanted was to upset her daughters with her appearance as she knew they would immediately blame Lincoln for this predicament.

[Galar: Slumbering Weald]

Meanwhile on the other side of the world Lincoln and Hop were traveling through the forbidden Slumbering Weald to try and find a naughty Wooloo that had entered into the forbidden Forest after breaking down the fence that let it into the Slumbering Weald.

"Man this place is all foggy and it's really hard to see where you're going no wonder this place is forbidden."said Hop as he and Lincoln were making sure they did not accidentally travel into the very tall grass which Pokemon were known to Roam.

"I know but we have to keep going until we find that Wooloo. I mean it's probably lost right now and has no idea how to get back after all if we can see through this fog imagine how he is feeling."said Lincoln as they crossed over us stone bridge that for some reason was there.

As Lincoln and Hop went deeper into the Slumbering Weald they suddenly heard a howl in the distance that startled them a little but they decided to keep going as based on the distance of the sound whatever was making it was very far away.

"Come on when can I think I saw a bit of white fluff over there!"exclaimed Hop as he decided to go off further ahead with Lincoln trying to keep up.

A short while later the two of them stopped as they stood in directly in front of a particularly thick piece of fog that looked like there was no way they could see through it no matter how hard they try.

"This is mad! I can hardly see my own hand in front of my face!"exclaimed Hop as he and Lincoln began looking around trying to spot the Wooloo.

As the two of them were looking around they failed to notice a large Pokémon approach them that looks like a large red wolf with a bunch of scars all over its body.

As Hop and Lincoln looked around they failed to notice this mysterious Pokemon until was right directly in front of them.

"What is that!"Yelled Hop as he did not recognize the Pokemon in front of them from anything related to Pokemon he has read before.

Lincoln acting out of instinct immediately called out his Pokemon as he did not know if the Pokemon in front of him was a threat.

"Sobble I choose you!"exclaimed Lincoln as Sobble appeared directly in front of him.

"Sobble sob!"explain the water lizard Pokemon as it got directly in front of its trainer and the mysterious Pokemon.

The mysterious wolf like Pokémon meanwhile looked at Lincoln with interest as it was wondering what the pair was going to do next.

"Sobble use water gun!"commanded Lincoln causing the water lizard Pokemon to shoot it's attacked directly at the mysterious Pokemon but as soon as the attack made contact it just faced through it like nothing happened.

"What the?"said Hop as he was wondering if something was wrong.

"Okay Sobble again use water gun!"ordered Lincoln again and the water lizard Pokemon complied as it fired another attack but just like last time the attack just phase through it.

The mysterious Pokémon still looked at them with curiosity before letting out a mighty howl with its eyes glowing which seemed to make the fog intensify.

"Lincoln I can barely see anything are you okay?!"Yelled Hop as the fog seemed to be affecting them.

"Sobble find that mysterious Pokemon's outline and use pound!"Yelled thinking as he was extremely frustrated as he fell for some reason the mysterious Pokemon was mocking him.

Sobble meanwhile looked around and concentrated until it indeed spotted the outline of the mysterious Pokemon and tried to use pound attack on it but just like the first two attacks it just faced through it.

"Sobble return!"settling in as he recalled his Pokemon back to its Pokeball as he had a feeling there was nothing more they could do so he decided to get Sobble to safety.

As this was going on the mysterious Pokemon released another mighty howl causing the fog to intensify so much that it began to make it impossible for anyone to see anything.

"I CANNOT SEE A THING!"Yelled Hop at the top of his lungs as everything went black.

A short while later the fog dissipated revealing Lincoln and Hop on the floor passed out but other than that they were okay. As they started to regain their senses they got up from the floor when they heard someone call out for them.

"Hop! Lincoln!"Yelled the familiar voice of Hop's older brother Leon running towards them to see if they were okay.

"Wha? Lee? How on Earth did you get here? Your pants with directions."said Hop who wondered how their brother managed to find them when even they had a hard time getting through this mysterious Forest as Leon had no sense of direction.

"Oh and that is exactly what I want to hear from the little brother that had me worried sick! You two never arrived at the professor's lab so of course I came looking for you that's when I noticed the broken fence and I put two and two together!"scolded Leon.

"Wait what about the Wooloo? We came here looking for a Wooloo that wandered in here."said Hop causing Leon to smile as he pointed towards his Charizard and load and behold the Wooloo in question was right next to the fire lizard Pokemon.

"The little chap is just fine. While I'm upset with your decision you two I understand why you did it as I honestly can't say I would have done anything different if I saw a Pokemon in trouble. You did good Hop and you to Lincoln."said Leon with sincere honesty.

"Well even though we got a lecture from Lee I cannot say that this experience was not amazing after all we ventured into this place and met that mysterious Pokemon."

"Mysterious Pokemon? What on Earth are you talking about Hop?"inquired Leon.

"Well as me and Lincoln were looking for that Wooloo this mysterious Pokémon came out of nowhere and surprised us and when Lincoln tried to battle it none of Sobble's attacks seem to faze it. Like they just went through it which was weird."answered Hop as that was the best way to summarize the events that happened before they passed out.

"Hmm... so are the mysterious Pokemon that rule the Slumbering Weald just a myth or is there more to the story. Get stronger you too and maybe one day you can find out the whole story. Let's get out of here as the fog may have cleared for now but at any moment it could appear again so let's get out of here before we get lost."said Leon.

The two young aspiring trainers agreed so they followed Leon out of the Slumbering Weald... or more specifically they follow Charizard as Leon's no sense of direction started to take effect so the two trainers had to make sure Leon did not get lost as they made their way out of the Slumbering Weald.

Meanwhile Lincoln had a feeling that he would see the mysterious Pokemon again he just didn't know how.

Hey guys PrimusPilus here with some news. Sorry I haven't been updating for a while I've been suffering a major case of writer's block so I had no inspiration for any of my stories. But now it appears that I've gone over by writer's block as I feel new inspiration though start again to write my stories.

Anyway next time Lincoln will add a few more additions to his team. But first we will get more insight into what is happening in Royal Woods now that Lincoln is gone.

How has things changed in the Loud house since Lincoln is no longer around and will a certain somebody take notice that Lincoln is no longer around?
