Night Time…

Abhijeet came downstairs went to see Tarika. She was already awake and reading a health medicine. Seeing Abhijeet she asked –

Abhijeet kahan the tum?

Abhijeet – Main terrace pe tha. Kyu?

Tarika – Nahi kaafi der se dikhe nahi aur phone bhi yahin par tha.

Abhijeet – Han voh bs hawa achi chl rahi thi toh tehlne gya tha.

Tarika – Abhijeet tum theek ho na?

Abhijeet – Han…kyu?

Tarika – Kuch nahi tumhare ye one line answers se laga. Kuch baat h toh btao mujhe.

Abhijeet – Sach mein Tarika. Koi baat nahi h. Main ese hi chala gya tha. Aur tum bhi so rahi thi. Kab uthi tum?

Tarika – Aadhe ghante pehle.

Abhijeet – Toh tumne btaya kyu nahi. Tumhe kuch chahiye tha?

Tarika – Nahi mujhe kuch nahi chahiye. Mujhe laga shayd tum bahar gye ho.

Abhijeet – Ok toh main dinner lagata hun. Tum haath muh dholo.

Tarika – Ok.

Abhijeet left to heat the dinner. He put all the food on tray and walked in the room. They had dinner and slept. Now their routine was better as Tarika was feeling better. Abhijeet used to call her every two hours to check her if she had her medicines and fruits etc. At evening he used to talk a lot to Tarika. As Tarika wasn't allowed to talk more Abhijeet is doing her duty. He used to tell her his daily routine in bureau. He used to tell her forensic details of the cases.

Today Abhijeet went to bureau and was immidiately called by ACP Pradyuman in his cabin. He went inside and sat.

Abhijeet – Good Morning sir.

ACP Pradyuman – Good Morning Abhijeet.

Abhijeet – Kya baat h sir? Kuch tension h?

ACP Pradyuman – As such kuch tension nahi h…bs tumhe Delhi jana h. Last mission ki hearing hone wali h. Lawyers tumse milna chahte h. 2 din ki baat h. Tum wahan chale jao aur yahan ki chinta mat kro. Yahan main Tasha ko bhej dunga Tarika ke pass.

Abhijeet – Theek h sir. Main chala jata hun. Kab jana h?

ACP Pradyuman – Ajj sham ko chale jana. Kll unke saath meeting krlo.

Abhijeet – Ok sir.

ACP Pradyuman – Theek h phir apna file work krlo. Aur afternoon mein nikal jana ghar. Tyari bhi krni h jaane ki aur Tarika ko bhi samjha dena.

Abhijeet – Yes Sir.

He left the cabin and sat on his disk. He started completing his file work. In the afternoon, he was closing his files and just then a thought clicked his mind.

Abhijeet (thinking) – Ye sahi hogya. Mujhe chutti bhi nahi leni pdegi aur kaam bhi ho jayega. Meeting jaldi khatam krke nikal lunga aur apna kaam kr lunga.

He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he didn't notice Daya was calling him.

Daya (loudly) – Abhijeet.

Abhijeet (jerked) – Han…kyu chilla rahe ho?

Daya – Ab tum sunoge nahi toh bnda chilayega na. Kab se bula raha hun.

Abhijeet – Acha ab bolo bhi.

Daya – Kin khyaalon mein gum the.

Abhijeet – Kuch nahi mujhe Delhi jana h sham ko. Bs bahi soch raha tha.

Daya – Don't worry Boss hum Tarika ka ache se khyaal rakh lenge.

Abhijeet – I know Daya.

Daya – Toh phir chalo lunch krne.

Abhijeet – Nahi ghar ja ke hi kr lunga. Tarika ke sath.

Daya – Ok Boss.

Abhijeet left bureau and drove off to home. He reahed home and had a glass of water. He went inside the room to check Tarika. She was awake and surprised to see Abhijeet home at this hour.

Tarika (surprised) – Abhijeet aaj itni jaldi aa gye? (worried now) Tbiyat toh theek h. Koi chot toh nahi lagi tumhe? Ab khade hi rahoge ya btaoge bhi.

Abhijeet – Tum kuch bolne dogi toh bolunga na. Mujhe kuch nahi hua. Main bilkul theek hun. Sham ko Delhi jana h isliye jaldi aagya. Sath mein lunch krte h.

Tarika (tensed) – Lekin Delhi kyu jana h? Phir se koi mission aagya?

Abhijeet – Nahi koi mission nahi h. Bs last mission ki hearing ke liye Lawyers se meeting h. Unko kuch points clear krne h. 2 - 3 din ki baat h. Lekin tum itni tension mein kyu aagyi. Koi problem h?

Tarika (relaxed now) – Nahi. Mujhe laga tum phir kisi mission pe ja rahe ho. Tension toh hoti h na Abhijeet. I will miss you.

Abhijeet took two steps closer to her to hug her but stopped in his tracks abruptly. He stood there closing his eyes. He opened his eyes and looked here and there to avoid Tarika's gaze.

Tarika (guilty tone) – Abhijeet…I am so…

Before he could complete her sorry Abhijeet interrupted her and stopped her raising his hand.

Abhijeet (smilingly) – ek minute ruko main abhi aaya.

Tarika got confused and looked at him going. He came back in a minute. He had two teddybears in his hands. He gave one to her and kept one with him.

Abhijeet (smilingly) – Ab ye socho ye teddy jo tumhare haath mein h ye main hun.

Tarika (confused tone) - Ye kya keh rhe ho. Ye teddy kis angle se tum ho sakte ho.

Abhijeet – Aree dekho isne coat pehna h.

Tarika (shocked) – Han!

Abhijeet – Voh sab chodo…suno jab tumhe mujhe hug krne ka man krega tum ise hug kr lena. Samajh lo ye main hun. Aur ye teddy jo mere pass h vo tum ho. Ab hum dono ek doosre ko hug kr skte h. Ek doosre ka haath bhi pakad skte h. Chalo ab mujhe jldi se hug kro.

Tarika laughed and hugged the teddy tightly. Abhijeet also hugged his teddy. Abhijeet went to kitchen to heat their lunch and came back to room. Both had their lunch together. Abhijeet as as usual was telling her about his day in bureau. After lunch he gave her medicines and himself started packing side by side asking instructing her.

Abhijeet – Dekho Tarika koi laparvahi nahi chahiye mujhe tumhari health ko lekr. Kuch bhi lage toh foran mujhe call kr dena. Main call krke poochta rahunga k tumne medicine aur khana liya ya nahi. Tasha aa jayegi thodi der mein aur vo yahin rahegi. Apna pura dhyaan rakhna.

Tarika – Han Abhijeet. Main dhyaan rakhungi. Aur tum bhi apna dhyan rakhna.

Soon it's evening time and Daya came there with Tasha. Daya took Abhijeet to Airport and Tasha stayed there. Tarika was continuosly smiling.

Tasha – Kya baat h Tarika ji? Kis baat pe itna muskura rahin h?

Tarika – You know Tasha I am so lucky to have Abhijeet. Voh kabhi mujhe guilty feel nahi hone deta meri is haalat ka. Hamesha tok deta haur baat ko ghuma deta h. Aaj bhi usne esa hi kiya. Ye dekho ye teddy. And she narrated the whole story.

Tasha – Abhijeet sir ha hi itne ache.

Tarika – Hum ye toh h.

Night time…

Tarika and Tasha had their dinner and slept. Meanwhile Abhijeet reached Delhi. He informed Tarika and ACP sir about his safe landing. He reached hotel and slept waiting for the next morning unknowing of the storm coming in his way!
