Hello and welcome to another chapter of Master of Uzushio. It's been a while since I've updated this. Sorry about that. This chapter would've gotten out sooner but...well, I got some bad news a few days ago. My father passed away... It's unclear if it was Covid or something else. I'm hanging in there though. Anyway, I hope this chapter is up to everyone's standards. Now, let's get to it.

Three years. That's how long it's been since Naruko Uzumaki was banished from Konoha. And while her friends were saddend by her exile, no one could compare to the devastation Hinata felt. When she first heard the news, she couldn't believe it. The one person she admired more than anyone...was exiled.
That day, something inside Hinata broke. She was a shell of her former self. The girl would stay in her room and cry for days on end. The times she interacted with anyone, Hinata would just sit there with a dead look on her face. Even her father, Hiashi Huyga could see how broken his eldest daughter was. As much as it pained the man to see Hinata in such a state, he had to stay his hand in order to keep the elders of her back. The only good thing that came about this was that Hinata had managed to patch things up with her little sister Hanabi.
It took months before Hinata's teammates managed to get her to leave the Hyuga compound. Though, the first time Hinata had seen Sakura since Naruko's banishment, things did not go well. Sakura had tried to apologize for making Naruko promises to bring Sasuke back. But when Hinata laid eyes on Sakura, all she saw was red. Hinata attacked Sakura while screaming how it was her fault that Naruko was gone. The other genin witness the whole thing and tried to stop Hinata. Only for Sakura to tell them not to interfere. In the end, Sakura was covered in injuries while hugging a crying Hinata. With Sakura saying "I'm sorry" over and over.
After the incident with Sakura, things stared to get better between her and Hinata. The heiress would visit all the places Naruko went. Even the girls old apartment. While out, Hinata overheard the villagers whisper about how glad they were that "The Demon" was gone. This infuriated Hinata to the point that she had to forcefully restrain herself from lashing out.
It wasn't until meeting the villages other outcast, Anko Mitarashi, that Hinata started to recover. No. Meeting Anko caused Hinata to change. For better or worse, no one knew. Hinata had asked Anko to train her. After convincing Hinata's sensei and Anko's best friend, Kurenai Yuhi, Hinata managed to make a lot of discoveris about herself. The major one being that Hinata's feelings for Naruko had started out as admiration. And evolved into love. Once Hinata discovered that, everything became clear. She devoted herself to getting stronger. So that one day Hinata could find her beloved and confess. No longer was she the shy girl she once was. Hinata was now stronger, confident, assertive and no longer afraid to show her body off.
Then the moment came. After hearing how Sakura had met Naruko after so long, Hinata knew her chance had arrived. Which is why Hinata was currently storming into Tsunade's office.
"Lady Tsunade!" Hinata says.
"Hinata." Tsunade says. "Now is not a good time."
"I'm sorry Lady Tsunade. I couldn't stop her." Shizune says.
"Why are you here Hinata?" Tsunade asks. "Barging into my office while in the middle of-"
"I know about the mission to retrieve Sasuke." Hinata interrupts. "Please, let me join team seven in their mission!"
"...I'm sorry Hinata." Tsunade says. "But the team has already been decided. I can't alter the team now. Besides...I'm not sure you're in the right mind for this mission."
"What?" Hinata asks incredulously.
"We both know WHY you wish to join team seven on this mission." Tsunade says with a knowing look. "Even on the off chance she does show up, she's made where she stands clear. Besides, the mission is to RETRIEVE Sasuke. I'm not convinced that you wouldn't try to kill him for revenge."
"...Fine." Hinata says after taking a breath. She then levels a glare at Tsunade. "We'll do this the hard way. Either let me join the mission, or label me as a rouge ninja and I go anyway."
"Hinata!" Sakura exclaims in shock.
"You would risk that Chunin Hyuga?" Tsunade asks with a glare.
"I've waited three years for this chance. I'm not going to let it past me by." Hinata says with determination. "No matter what you say, I'm joining this mission."
"...Lady Tsunade. If I may?" Yamato says. "Having the Byakugan on this mission may increase our success."
"Lady Tsunade?" Sakura says.
"Yes Sakura?" Tsunade replies.
"Please let Hinata join the mission." Sakura says. "I'll take full responsibility for her actions."
"...Very well. Chunin Hinata Hyuga will join team seven in the mission to retrieve Sasuke Uchiha." Tsunade says with a sigh.
"This may complicate things." Sai thinks.
Everything Hinata has gone through, everything she has endured, was for this moment. And now, the time has come.
"Naruko-chan..." Hinata thinks.
Team seven along with Hinata had made contact with Orochimaru. After which, Naruko Uzumaki Pendragon had made her appearance. Along with three other unknowns.
"Well... This is a surprise. We were just talking about you." Orochimaru says with a grin.
"Naruko." Sakura says.
"So...that's Naruko Uzumaki." Yamato thinks. "I can tell she's gotten stronger in the last three years. He then glances at the three unknown woman. "Judging by their appearances, these two must be Mordred Pendragon and Artoria Pendragon."
Unknown to everyone present, Sai stares intensely at Naruko. "Secondary target sighted."
"Who is she...?" Karin thinks with wide eyes.
Thanks to Karin's Mind's Eye of the Kagura ability, the redhead could sense a persons chakra. Even see it with her own eyes. Which is why Karin was shocked to see Naruko.
"What IS her chakra?" Karin thinks. She then looks intensely at Naruko as she sees three different auras around Naruko. One blue. One red. But the last one was a mystifying blue. Almost ethereal. "How can someone have THREE different chakra signatures? But this last one... I'm not sure it's chakra at all!"
"It's nice to see you again, Kyubi." Orochimaru says.
Naruko says nothing to Orochimaru's taunt and continues to stare impassively at the sannin with her sword pointed at him.
"So, this is Orochimaru." Artoria says while slightly tightening her grip on her lance.
"He's even more creepy in person." Mordred says.
Vimana makes it's way back to the bridge. Gilgamesh and Tayuya then jump off the aircraft with the former holding on to the former. Vimana vanishes into gold particles as the two land beside their allies.
"You don't know the half of it." Tayuya says.
"It appears you were right, child." Gilgamesh says as she looks around.
Upon seeing the new arrivals, Orochimaru and Kabuto are both surprised and intrigued by Tayuya. While Karin looks at the girl in shock.
"Well...that's a face I wasn't expecting to see." Kabuto says as he keeps his grip on Karin.
"It's surprising to see you are still alive Tayuya." Orochimaru says.
"Hmph." Tayuya scoffs. "No thanks to you asshole."
"Still as vulgar as ever I see." Orchimaru says. "Though I am curious. Why do you appear to be siding with the Kyubi jinchuriki?"
"Well, considering my last "boss" was a sick sadistic asshole, it was time to trade up." Tayuya says with a smirk. "And the food ain't bad either."
"...So you've betrayed me." Orochimaru says more than questions.
"Tayuya, you know the price for traitors." Kabuto says.
"Spare me four-eyes." Tayuya replies. "And before you even think about using that curse mark on me you pedo, don't waste your time. It's gone."
Orochimaru narrows his eyes. "How? I would've noticed."
"Heh. We had one of our experts remove it." Mordred says with a smirk.
Orochimaru turns his attention to Mordred. "And who might you be?"
"Name's Mordred." The saber says. She then glances at Naruko before turning her attention back to the sannin. "And I just happen to be the sister to the one you screwed over."
Orochimaru takes a moment to register what Mordered just said. He then glances at Artoria and Gilgamesh before turning his gaze to Naruko.
"Interesting company you keep child." Orochimaru says. He then narrows his eyes. "Something about those three is peculiar. I can sense the Kyubi's chakra within them. Along with something else."
Tayuya then finally notices Kabuto's captive. "Huh? Karin? What the hell are you doing here?"
"That's my line!" Karin says. "I thought you were dead!"
"You know her Tayuya?" Naruko asks as she side glances Tayuya.
"Yeah. Her name's Karin." Tayuya says. "She's in charge of the pedos southern hideout."
"She's also a Uzumaki." Gilgamesh says.
"Seriously?" Naruko says while trying to keep her shock hidden.
"It's true." Artoria says. "I can sense her chakra."
"Wait! Your telling me I have ANOTHER cousin?" Tayuya asks incredulously.
"Wait! YOUR an Uzumaki too?!" Karin says with shock.
"Well, this day is proving to be full of surprises." Naruko says. "But I think we're getting off topic here."
"Indeed." Orochimaru says. Secretly, the sannin was lamenting on the fact that he had TWO Uzumaki's without even knowing it. "I have to ask though. Why are you here?" Orochimaru then smirks. "Is it because of Sasuke?"
"You're delusional Naruko." Kabuto says. "Sasuke left of his own free will. Nothing you say will change that."
Orochimaru and Kabuto's words had varying effects on everyone present. Sakura tenses at Kabuto's words. Yamato stares intently on Naruko to see her reaction. Hinata was still in shock at seeing Naruko after all this time. Sai however was just stone faced. Strangely, the residents of New Uzushio were silent. As for Naruko herself...
"And? Am I supposed to care?" Naruko says impassively.
Needless to say, Naruko's response was shocking to everyone. Baring her surrogate family.
"Gil-kaasan?" Naruko asks. "Did you find it?"
"Yes." Gilgamesh replies. "It's not far from here. The child here has been very informative."
"I have a name ttebane?" Tayuya says with a deadpanned glare. "Geh! I thought I got rid of that!"
"Oh? So she says that too." Naruko thinks with a raised eyebrow. "I thought I was the only one."
Unknown to Naruko, Kurama grumbles at the familiar verbal tick.
"Well then..." Naruko says as she calmly sheaths her sword. She then grins. "Have fun."
Orochimaru looks at Naruko in confusion. That changes when Gilgamesh suddenly smirks.
"With pleasure." Gilgamesh says as she summons her tome. She then waves her hand over it. Dozens of magic circles then appear behind the caster. At the sight of them, Yamato's danger senses flare up.
"Look out!" Yamato exclaims.
Gilgamesh then fires energy blast out of the portals. The attack destroys the bridge. As they free fall, Orochimaru and Kabuto were able to avoid the attack. But Kabuto was forced to let go of Karin in the process. Thankfully, Tayuya was able to catch her. Yamato and Sakura were okay since the attack wasn't aimed at them.
"Let's go Mordred!" Naruko says.
"Right!" Mordred says.
Naruko and Mordred use a quick Mana Burst to propel them forward. After landing on a tree branch, the two then speed off. Orochimaru watches the two leave in confusion.
"Where are they-" Orochimaru starts before his eyes widen as realization comes to his mind. "Of course!"
Before Orochimaru can follow after the two girls, Artoria uses the sannin's distraction to swipe at him with her lance. Orochimaru barely manages to dodge, but his shirt is torn in the process. The group then lands in a forests area. Knowing that he'll be preoccupied, Orochimaru turns to his aid.
"Kabuto! After them!" Orochimaru says.
"Right." Kabuto says as he chases after the two girls.
Seeing Kabuto chase after her former teammate, Sakura rushes after them. "Naruko!"
"Sakura, wait!" Yamato exclaims. The captain then looks around to find that his other charges were missing. "Hinata? Sai?!" Yamato clicks his teeth in frustration. "Damn it!"
Yamato turns his attention to Artoria and Gilgamesh about to battle Orochimaru. As much as he would like to aid the two woman in their fight, Yamato feels that he would only get in the way. With that in mind, Yamato leaves the area to pursue his teammates. And to stop someone before he makes a serious mistake.
"I have to stop Sai." Yamato thinks. "Whatever plan he has- Whatever plan Danzo has for Naruko...may lead to a war."
"You wanna tell me what the HELL is going on Tayuya?!" Karin exclaims.
"...You wouldn't believe me if I told ya." Tayuya says dryly. "Anyway, we should move." Tayuya looks at Artoria and Gilgamesh about to clash with Orochimaru. "Things are about to get crazy."
As Naruko and Mordred travel through the forest, explosions can be heard in the background.
"You think Kaa-san and Gil-kaasan will be okay with Orochimaru?" Naruko asks.
"I'd be more worried about the creeper than them." Mordred says. "But I'm not."
"Good point." Naruko says. Naruko's danger senses suddenly flare up. "Mordred, on your left!"
At Naruko's warning, Mordred spins around with her sword at the ready. Just in time to block Kabuto's Chakra Dissection Blades. Mordred pushes Kabuto back while Naruko stands beside her.
"Interesting sword you've got there." Kabuto says. "Normally my Chakra Dissection Blades cut through whatever I come in contact with. But that's not a normal sword, is it?"
"Oh no. He found out." Mordred sarcastically states.
"Hmph." Kabuto scoffs as he adjust his glasses. "I'm curious Naruko. From what you said at the bridge, you make it sound as if you don't care about Sasuke. And yet here you are, racing to our hideout. Where Sasuke currently is."
Naruko stares impassively at Kabuto. "I'd be more concerned about myself if I were you."
"Cherry Blossom Crash!"
Kabuto quickly dodges to the left. Just in time to avoid Sakura's fist. Said fist makes a sizable crater in the ground. Mordred whistles at the display while Naruko has a small flashback of all the times Sakura hit her.
"Say what you want about Pinky. But she's got some strength in her." Mordred says with a grin.
"You wouldn't say that if YOU were the one on the receiving end." Naruko says with a deadpan. ...And a sweat drop.
"Hmph." Kabuto scoffs. "You again."
"Naru?" Mordred thinks as she uses her connection to Naruko. Said blond glances at her sister. "I'll stay here and help Pinky out. You're the one who needs to keep moving."
Naruko looks at Mordred intently before nodding. The blond Master then quickly turns around and uses another Mana Burst to move forward. Kabuto notices to late as Naruko speeds off towards his masters hideout. Sakura then jumps to Mordred's side. Blocking Kabuto from going any further. Seeing this, the rouge medic clicks his teeth.
"We gotta stop meeting like this Pinky." Mordred says. "Thought I'd stick around and help ya with this-"
"I know who you are." Sakura interrupts. Mordred then gains a serious expression while Sakura keeps her focus on Kabuto. "I have questions once this is over."
"Tch. Way to ruin my good mood." Mordred says dryly. She then takes her stance with Sakura taking her own. "Fine. Just don't expect me to answer all of them."
Thanks to her Mana Burst, Naruko was able to make it to the entrance of Orochimaru's hideout in record time.
"This is it." Naruko says.
"You sure you're up for this kit?" Kurama asks.
"...Yeah. I'm ready to face him." Naruko says after a pause.
Deep within the caverns lies Naruko's goal. Her former friend and teammate. Before she can take her first steps into the hideout, Naruko turns to the opposite direction.
"You may as well come out." Naruko says. "I know you're there."
After a few seconds, a figure steps out in front of Naruko. Revealing a fake smiling Sai.
"You're much smarter than what was reported about you." Sai says.
"...You were with Haruno and Hyuga." Naruko says while glancing at Sai's headband.
"Correct." Sai says. "My name is Sai. I'm a replacement member for team seven. Though I guess I'm filling both spots now."
"He must be Sasuke's replacement." Naruko thinks. "And? What business do you have with me?"
"I am curious." Sai says. "Based on your file, you're a brain dead loser who would never abandon her comrades. But what you said back at bridge says otherwise. I wonder...what exactly are you doing here?"
Naruko narrows her eyes slightly. "That's none of your concern." Naruko then turns around and prepares to walk into the cavern. "Now, I have other matters to attend to. And word of advice? If you are going to fake a smile, you could stand to be more convincing."
"I suppose you are right." Sai says. "Though I can't help it." Sai's tone suddenly becomes ominous. "I was trained to act without emotions after all."
Naruko stops walking at Sai's words. "So...ROOT huh?"
"Tch. Can't catch a break with these guys." Kurama huffs.
"You asked me a question earlier. Now I'll ask the same." Naruko says. "What are YOU doing here?"
"Why...I'm here to fulfill my mission." Sai says. "To eliminate Sasuke Uchiha."
Naruko narrows her eyes as she turns to face Sai.
"Though, the original plan was to side with Orochimaru so that I may have a better chance." Sai says. "But thanks to you and your Servants, that wasn't necessary."
"So Danzo DOES know." Naruko thinks.
"However, that is only part of my mission." Sai says.
"Oh?" Naruko says.
Sai then gains a serious expression. "Naruko Uzumaki. By order of Danzo-sama, you are to return to Konoha for reconditioning."
"...I believe the answer I gave your last team was more than clear enough." Naruko says.
"Do you not care for your own village?" Sai asks. "With you and your resources, Danzo-sama's goal of bettering Konoha can be fulfilled."
"...Do you really believe what you're saying?" Naruko asks. "Danzo's methods would go against everything the Third Hokage and my father stood for. And I refuse to be anyone's puppet. Both myself and the Kyubi agree on that."
"Damn straight." Kurama says.
"Now, I'd give you a chance to turn away from all this." Naruko says as she tenses. "But a puppet like you wouldn't listen, would you?"

"You're quite right." Sai says with another fake smile. "Though, it doesn't matter if I'm a puppet." Sai then slowly reaches behind for his sword. Naruko responds by slowly reaching for her sword. "Once upon a time..." Sai drops the smile as he draws his weapon. He then lunges at Naruko. "...you were too!"
Naruko quickly draws her sword to parry Sai's strike. Sai jumps back to gain some distance, but Naruko is right on him. The two exchange a few blows in midair, ending with Naruko forcing Sai to the ground. Naruko lands just as Sai charges towards her. Once again, the two sword users exchange a few blows. Neither of them letting the other gain the upper hand. Naruko then goes for an overhead slash, but Sai sidesteps it while backing up. The ROOT ninja then twirls his sword to readjust his grip.
Naruko stares warily at her opponent before going for another overhead slash. Sai jumps back to a nearby hill to avoid the attack. Naruko jumps forward and tries another overhead. Sai once again avoids the strike, with Naruko hitting the ground instead. Sai uses the opportunity to step on top of Naruko's sword. He then tries to hit Naruko with spinning jump kick. Naruko avoids the attack, but Sai is undeterred as he then goes for a swipe with his sword. Naruko backflips to avoid the attack while also striking Sai in the chin. Naruko then tries for another slash while Sai is dazed. But Sai manages to shake it off just in time to block Naruko's attack. Their blades lock and the two stare impassively at one another. Naruko then breaks the deadlock by forcing Sai back. She then follows after him.
Unknown to Naruko and Sai, someone had just arrived to watch the battle unfold.
Back with Artoria and Gilgamesh, the two Servants opponent had proven to be a strong one. If not for the fact that they were limiting themselves to avoid questions, they would've been done by now.
Orochimaru couldn't believe what was happening. Between one of his opponents bombarding him with energy projectiles and the other attacking him with a lance that seemed to burn him on contact, he was both intrigued and worried about their capabilities. Orochimaru had resorted to using his prized Kusanagi sword in his fight. But what was shocking was that his sword couldn't cut Artoria's weapon. He could barley defend himself against Gilgamesh's long range attacks. Until Orochimaru was once again surprised when Gilgamesh pulled out an axe and started getting up close and personal. The sannin had even tried to gain some information out of his foes. But the two were stone faced and wouldn't fall for his taunts. At this point, Orochimaru's jutsu was the only thing keeping him alive.
Tayuya and Karin were spectating the two Servant's battle with wide eyes. Karin more so since Tayuya had seen what some of the Servants in New Uzushio were capable of. Still, she couldn't help but be shocked. Orochimaru. One of the sannin, was being pushed. And his opponents weren't even breaking a sweat.
"Tayuya?" Karin asks.
"Yeah?" Tayuya replies.
"THE FUCK?!" Karin exclaims.
"Hey, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this too!" Tayuya says. "These Servants are no joke. glad I'm on their side."
Meanwhile, Mordred and Sakura were proving to be a deadly combo to Kabuto. His regeneration was keeping him in the fight. But his stamina was wearing down. Kabuto's Chakra Dissection Blades were proving to be ineffective thanks to Mordreds armor. Something that took the rouge medic by surprise. Whenever Sakura was open for an attack, Mordred would cover her.
The whole time the three were fighting, none of them noticed Yamato sneak pass them. Stopping Sai was his priority at the moment. And with Mordred helping Sakura, the captain of team seven wasn't too worried.
Speaking of Sai, he was still defending himself against Naruko. The blond was proving to be very versatile in her swordsmanship. Unfortunately, the battle had led Naruko away from Orochimaru's hideout.
The two were currently exchanging blows while running up a cliff. When they reached the top, Naruko went for a lunge. Only for Sai to sidestep the attack. He then knocks Naruko's sword out of her hands by locking her sword with his. In a impressive display of acrobatics, Sai twist his body into a mid-air barrel roll. Flinging Caliburn into the air.
Thinking quickly, Naruko goes for a spinning roundhouse kick. Sai dodges the attack, but is taken by surprise as Naruko forms her signature hand signs. A Shadow Clone appears above Naruko. The clone throws Naruko into the air. While in the air, Naruko delivers a kick to Sai's face. Naruko then grabs her sword in mid air. Just in time to defend herself from Sai's Super Beast Scroll creations. Dozens of inked birds flew towards Naruko. Thinking quickly, Naruko uses Strike Air to propel herself backwards. The attack also manages to destroy Sai's creations. While Sai braces himself for the harsh wind. Once it passes, the ROOT ninja races towards Naruko's location.
Naruko's attack causes her to land on a nearby plateau. "He's good. I'll give him that."
"He's definitely different from the other mindless drones we've faced before." Kurama says. "But you're wasting time. Remember what you came here to do."
"Right." Naruko thinks.
Seeing Sai approach her, Naruko decided to meet him halfway. The two clash in mid-air before beginning their descent. They exchange blows while falling. Just before they reach the ground, Naruko forces Sai a few feet away from her. The two land in a crouch. They stare intensely at one another as they stand. All is silent before Sai decides to jump forward with his blade raised. To respond to the action, Naruko brings her sword to her face and closes her eyes. Wind then begins to gather around her. As Sai descends on his target, Naruko's eyes snap open. Sai notices too late as Naruko raises Caliburn above her.
"Wind Kings Hammer!" Naruko exclaims. The blond hits Sai with an overhead strike empowered by the wind. Upon contact, the strike becomes a shockwave that blast Sai across the ground. The blast makes him roll across the ground before landing in a heap.

Naruko let's out a breath before she cautiously moves to Sai. She stops a few inches away from the downed ROOT ninja. Seeing that he isn't moving, Naruko sheaths her sword.
"There." Naruko says. "That should keep him knocked out for a while."
"Why didn't you just kill him?" Kurama asks.
"Didn't wanna waste the energy." Naruko thinks. "Like you said, we got things to do."
Naruko turns around and walks away from Sai. With her foe beaten, she can now get back to her objective. ...At least, that's how it should be. But before Naruko can get three feet away from Sai, she hears the sound of something dripping. Naruko stops and turns her head back to Sai. Only to see his body turn into a puddle of ink!
"A clone?!" Naruko exclaims in alarm.
Naruko whips her head around. Just to have a tag slapped on her forehead. The tag glows as Naruko gasps before falling to her knees while clutching her head in pain. Revealing a unharmed Sai.
"Looks like my strategy worked." Sai says as he stands above Naruko. "If I hadn't substituted myself for a clone during your last attack, I would be the one on the ground."
Naruko is ignorant to Sai's words as she continues to clutch her head in pain. A while the tag on her head begins to glow brighter.
"Kurama! What's...happening?!" Naruko thinks in panic.
"It's a loyalty seal!" Kurama exclaims while gritting his teeth. "And it's a damn powerful one! Cause it's affecting me too!"
"I thought we had counters for this!" Naruko thinks while shaking her head frantically.
In Naruko's mindscape, Kurama is seen thrashing around in his seal. Soon after Naruko and the bijuu became friendly with one another, Naruko altered the seal in her mindscape. Getting rid of the cage while giving the fox a collar with the seal on it.
Though, the problem right now was that Naruko's mindscape was changing. Gaining an ominous red and black color scheme that seemed be flickering between Naruko's normal mindscape and the new one.
"Damn it!" Kurama says while grinding his teeth. "Why is this happening?!" The fox looks up...and is met with a strange yet familiar sight. One that makes the bijuu roar in anger.
A seal. With the mark of a Mangekyou Sharingan.
"DANZOOOOO!" Kurama roars.
Back with Naruko, the blond is still struggling. Unknown to her, Kurama's chakra was leaking out of her. Causing Naruko's eyes to turn red with silited pupils, her nails turning into claws, her canines elongating and her whisker marks becoming more feral.
"Kurama?" Naruko thinks as she's alarmed by her partners roar.
"That blasted warhawk!" Kurama says enraged. "He inscribed a seal with an uchiha's Mangekyou Sharingan!"
"WHAT?!" Naruko thinks in shock.
"You may as well give up." Sai says. "I doubt you or the Kyubi can resist the seal for long."
Naruko struggles to raise her hand to rip off the seal. But is repelled by it. Increasing the mental attack.
"A precaution." Sai says. "You can't remove the seal yourself and trying to do so will only increase the seals effects." Naruko growls at Sai while giving him a determined glare. Sai simply gives another fake smile. Almost like he's mocking the blond. "You've got no one to blame but yourself. You dropped your guard...Dairy Cow."
Naruko gains a little bit of her fire at the insult. "DAIRY COW?!" Naruko is forced to forget her anger as another mental attack occurs. The seal then begins to glow even brighter.
"It won't be long now." Sai says. "Don't worry, Danzo-sama will be sure to mold you and your Servants into loyal weapons for Konoha."
"G-go...to...H-HELL!" Naruko exclaims with her voice switching between her normal voice and a demonic version. The bijuus chakra then begins to fade.
"Oh. How vulgar." Sai says. "That will be the first thing to-"
"Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms!"
Sai is interrupted as Hinata lunges at him with one of the Hyugas signature techniques. Her Byakugan blazing. The ROOT ninja is taken by surprise as Hinata relentlessly attacks his chakra points before hitting Sai with a double plam strike. The attack sends Sai flying a few feet away from the two girls before crashing to the ground. Sai twitches a few times before passing out.
With Sai immobilized, Hinata deactivates her Kekkei Genkai before ripping the tag off of Naruko. With the tag off, Naruko's vulpine looks fades away as she returns to normal. Naruko then takes a few shallow deep breaths.
"...Kurama? ...You okay?" Naruko thinks.
"I've got a bitch of an hangover. But I'm alright." Kurama says. "Good thing the Hyuga got here when she did."
"Thanks Hina-" Naruko says.
The blond is interrupted as Hinata kisses her on the lips! The heiress wraps her arms around the blonds neck while kissing her passionately. Naruko is so shocked by the action that she unconsciously opens her mouth. Giving Hinata the opportunity to slip her tongue in. The heated moment ends as Hinata pulls back for air. A string of silva following as both girls blush.
"H-H-H-Hinta!" Naruko stutters in shock. "W-w-what..?!"
"I've wanted to do that for a long time." Hinata says. "And to say this." Naruko looks at Hinata as the heiress smiles lovingly. Her face still red. "Naruko... I love you."
And cliffhanger! Don't hurt me!
Okay. Originally, I wanted to finish the entire Tenchi Bridge mission. But decided to make another chapter out of it. Next chapter will finish the mission with the long awaited Naruko vs. Sasuke fight.
I honestly couldn't think of a proper fight scene with Artoria and Gilgamesh vs Orochimaru or Mordred and Sakura vs. Kabuto. The Naruko vs. Sai fight was actually inspired by the fight between Cloud and Kadaj in Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. Sai and Kadaj are basically puppets following orders after all.
Sai's "Dairy Cow" comment to Naruko was taken from Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple. It was the name givien to Miu from Kisara when they first fought. I added that comment because I'm using Miu's measurements for Naruko. (Which I will soon edit in previous chapters.) Credit goes to Waifu Measurements 2.0 at Twitter.
