Naruto An Anastasia Story

9. The Old Palace

The Old Palace

They made it to the palace only to find that all of the entrances were boarded up everywhere. Naru was looking for a way to enter when the fox went into a small opening. Naru came back to call the fox to come back but the fox wasn't listening.

Naru: Kyuubi! Kyuubi! Kyuu, where are you?

He then tried to pull some of the boards out of the way so he could get in. He finally moved the boards out of the way which made him fall backwards. What he didn't count on though was that it made a very loud noise that got Sasuke's attention. Inside one of the rooms, Sasuke and Neji were eating dinner and keeping warm, sitting by the chimney when Sasuke heard the noise.

Sasuke: Did you hear something?

Neji: Hmm? No.

Sasuke then left the room to find out what is going on. Meanwhile, Naru and the fox, now known as Kyuubi, were walking from room to room, trying to find somebody.

Naru: Hello? Anybody home?

But, nobody answered so they kept on looking for somebody who might be living there. So far, they haven't had much luck.
