I do want to apologize for the long waits since I'm doing my best to write chapters as fast I can as well as writing one shots for my one shot series TEAM PHANTOM: NEXT GENERATION, so I do appreciate the patience. Here's chapter 10 everybody.
Chapter 10: Rescue.
At Clockwork's Lair in the Ghost Zone, Valerie was monitoring the progress on Danny, Dani and Kayla just as Maddie contacts her through the comlink.
"Valerie, anything on Danny, Dani and Kayla?" Maddie asked through the comlink.
"Well, from what I have seen so far, Danny, Dani and Princess Kayla are gonna help alternate Team Phantom rescue Andrew's cousin." Valerie said.
"Hopefully they can rescue Andrew's cousin fast." Jack said through the comlink.
"Let's us know when they are coming back." Jazz said.
"Don't worry, I'll let you all know." Valerie said before ending the conversation.
Meanwhile, in Seoul, South Korea, Manfred Bauer was at the airport drinking coffee while he awaits for his next flight to Brazil and is unaware what's going on on the other side of the world. 112 years old chronologically, but 43 years old biologically, Manfred has been spending the last 6 years traveling from place-to-place in order to clear things up and repent his mistakes after what he did to Harry Fenton and Ida Manson 76 years ago and siding with Dan and Dana 7 years ago. He's been trying to redeem himself ever since helping Team Phantom defeating Hertha. Even though Team Phantom spoke to the FBI to clear the charges against him, Manfred still travels from one place to the next as he still feels he doesn't belong in one place, especially since he's a man out of time. Manfred had also took his time to catch up with history and to him, the 21st Century has been quite strange and for him especially in recent years. Seeing technology advanced, half ghost hybirds, aliens, seeing half the population fade from existence, seeing half the population come back to life, and any other crazy event. Regardless, Manfred has adjust himself to 21st Century life. Manfred was drinking some coffee when the near by TV caught his attention.
"Once again, if you're joining us, we have some breaking news, a massive ghost attack is taking place in Downtown Chicago. Multiple sources say this is the same group that invaded and attacked Amity Park earlier today. We are still trying to figure out Team Phantom's whereabouts and according to Pentagon officials, the Army is already in battle against these unknown ghosts on the ground, while the Air Force are on their way to battle against these unknown ghost attacker craft in the sky, and a US Navy fleet are already on their way." the news anchor reported as the camera points towards the large towering drill.
Manfred becomes concerned when he saw some of the Harvester fighter craft and recognized some of the markings and patterns on them.
"It can't be." Manfred said.
Manfred then approached the American Airlines front desk and talk to a man with black hair at the counter.
"Is there any flights available for Minneapolis?" Manfred asked.
The man then type in the computer to see if there are any available flights.
"Yes. We have one, but it won't take off for another two hours. If you want, I can put you on standby." the man said.
"That won't be necessary." David said.
Manfred turned around to see the Phantom Blasters.
"Doctor Bauer. We need you again." Victoria said.
"Okay, how did you Phantom Blasters found me?" Manfred asked.
"Ever since you left Amity Park, Team Phantom kept their distance from you." Trevor said.
"Anyway, we have a major problem and we need you to come in." Victoria said.
"Is it because of that?" Manfred said as he points at the TV he was watching moments ago.
"Yeah. It's pretty serious. That's why we flew all the way out here to find you. The Quinjet is outside the terminal." Victoria replied.
"We better get going." Manfred said.
The four started to walk out to head to the Quinjet, but not before Manfred handed his ticket to a random person.
"Here, enjoy Rio." Manfred said.
At the alternate universe's Ghost Zone, Danny, Dani, Kayla, alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Dani, Dale, Queen Annaya and alternate Team Phantom was carrying out the plan to save Andrew's cousin Tabitha. They watch their plan go into action as they see Andrew piloting the Specter Speeder, approaching alternate Skulker and Anandlok, who was about to cut the rope that was holding Tabitha.
"Stop!" Andrew pleaded, gaining alternate Skulker and Anandlok's attention.
Andrew came out of the Specter Speeder wearing a jet pack and floated outside, holding a thermos in his hand.
"Ah ha! So you've arrived and where are the others?" Anandlok questioned.
"They don't know I'm here." Andrew answered, glaring at the one who kidnapped his cousin.
"Andrew?! What are you doing? Please tell me you didn't…." Tabitha asked, beginning to think the worst.
"I don't have a choice Tabitha! I can't lose you like dad. Dayla and the others…..will understand someday." Andrew said, looking down.
Tabitha looked at him sadly, believing he was actually meeting Anandlok's demands and handing over Dayla, her siblings and confusingly and unknowingly to her, Danny and Dani. Anandlok laughed.
"Oh this is rich! Dayla Phantom betrayed by her own boyfriend! I'd never thought this would happen." Anandlok laughed.
"Enough! Just let Tabitha go!" Andrew shouted, but Anandlok held out his hand.
"Hand over the thermos boy, then you get your dear cousin back." Anandlok said.
Andrew floated over and handed the thermos to Anandlok.
"There! Now you're done with Tabitha." Andrew said.
Anandlok nodded and gestured to alternate Skulker to release Tabitha. Alternate Skulker did so and bought her over to Andrew who gave her a tight hug. Anandlok pressed the thermos and out came Danny, Dani, alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Dani and Dale, each of them unconscious and around their waists were Specter Deflectors. However, Anandlok has no idea that they are duplications.
Meanwhile, Danny, Dani, Kayla, alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Dani, Dale, Annaya, and the rest of alternate Team Phantom were watching by, waiting for the chance to strike.
"When's the time to strike?" Dani asked.
"Almost there, hang on." Dayla said.
They continue to watch the confrontation.
"It's amazing how with the proper motivation, I can make someone do my bidding." Anandlok said, still grinning and believing he had finally won.
Anandlok then prepared a fatal ecto-blast, which everyone else saw.
"Now." alternate Danny said.
And now I shall….." Anandlok said before being cut off.
"Get a major case of butt whooping?!" Danny, Dani, alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Dani and Dale said.
The six Phantoms then blasted Anandlok, causing him to scream in pain. He winced as he looked back up and suddenly gasped as he saw floating there was none other than the real Danny, Dani, alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Dani and Dale. Tabitha smiled at Andrew who then smiled back and winked at her, showing that they had a plan all along. Tabitha then noticed Danny and Dani.
So….who are the ones that look like Danny and Dani?" Tabitha asked in confusion.
"I'll explain later, right after we take down this guy." Andrew answered, pointing at Anandlok.
Kayla, alternate Jazz, alternate Jack, alternate Maddie, alternate Valerie, alternate Tucker, alternate Sam, Jimmy and Sonya finally arrived at the scene, each of them holding powerful blasters in their hands, while Kayla's fists glowed with purple ecto-energy and aimed them at Anandlok and alternate Skulker. Andrew then handed Tabitha an ecto-blaster so she could join in with the team. Anandlok then noticed he was outgunned.
Skulker! Get down here and help! They can't do anything! It's not like the queen is here!" Anandlok demanded.
"It's funny you should mention that Anandlok." Annaya spoke as she appeared right behind him, causing him to jump in fright.
"Your….Your Majesty!" Anandlok said in complete shock.
Alternate Walker and several ghost officers then appeared at the scene of the crime. Alternate Walker then read out of his rule book.
"Let's see, kidnapping and almost committing murder. That's against the rules punk." alternate Walker said.
"Geez, wish the Walker in our universe was like this Walker here." Danny muttered.
"For real." Dani muttered.
Alternate Skulker gulped at the sight of Annaya and suddenly flew off screaming.
"I left the stove on and Ember hates when I do that!" alternate Skulker screamed as he flew away and escapes.
"Coward!" Anandlok shouted at alternate Skulker.
"Talk about Ghost Zone's greatest hunter." Dani said, making Danny chuckled.
"Tabitha, I believe since he kidnapped you, you can have the first shot." Dayla said.
"With pleasure! This is for kidnapping me you ectoplasmic loser!" Tabitha shouted before she sent a ecto-blast from her blaster, hitting Anandlok dead on.
More blasts were then fired by Danny, Dani, Kayla, alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Dani, Dale, Jimmy, Sonya, alternate Jack, alternate Maddie, alternate Jazz, Annaya, alternate Walker, alternate Walker's ghosts, alternate Valerie, and alternate Tucker, hitting him all at once. Anandlok screamed as the blasts continued, causing him more and more pain with each one. Suddenly he couldn't take it anymore.
"ENOUGH!" Anandlok screamed.
Everyone stopped and finally, Anandlok fell weakly to the floating ground beneath him. Anandlok was about to get up but then Kayla approached him before protracting her sword and points it at his face. Danny, Dani, alternate Danny, Dayla, alternate Dani and Dale walked up to him on the floating rock. The thermos was in alternate Danny's hands ready to go.
"You've really caused us a lot of trouble, Anandlok." alternate Danny said, his glare not leaving his face.
"If you ever come kidnap anyone that's either our friend, my boyfriend or any of our family again, we'll blast you so hard you won't be able to float around for a month!" Dayla shouted at him with full fury.
"Any last requests before we hand you over to alternate Walker?" Dani asked.
"No requests, but a warning. For defeating me, I give you this warning as a gift." Anandlok said as he weakly sat up. "Those Harvesters that came from the other world, their new queen is hungry for revenge and she won't just stop at your world."
"I know that. I'm her sister and I won't let her get revenge on Hertha's death and definitely will not let her harvest Earth or any other world." Kayla said with a frown.
"Ah, but you should know princess that this is still the beginning. You should know what will happen should you defeat your sister once and for all." Anandlok said.
Kayla then realized that Anandlok is right and showed little concern.
"What do you mean by that?" Danny asked, making Anandlok smirked.
"Sorry, but I never said I would give you answers." Anandlok replied.
"Then why even warn us in the first place?" Dale asked.
"I may want you defeated someday halfa-boy, but like Skulker, I consider myself to be a ghost of honor and know when I am defeated. But that doesn't mean I have to share all knowledge of coming dangers to alternate realities. Besides, you want answers, why don't you talk to the dear Harvester princess about it." Anandlok replied, smirking at Kayla.
"Put him in the thermos, big bro. He's not gonna share anything anymore." alternate Dani said.
Alternate Danny nodded and without waiting for another second, he sucked Anandlok inside the thermos and he didn't even let off a scream as he was sucked inside. With him now defeated, alternate Danny handed the thermos over to alternate Walker who nodded and then began to head back to his prison. Everyone gave themselves a little celebration while Kayla was silent, concerned as to what Anandlok said, which didn't go unnoticed for Danny and Dani.
"You okay, Your Highness?" Danny asked.
"Umm... yeah, I'm okay." Kayla said with concern still written on her face.
"You sure?" Dani asked.
"Yeah... ummm, we better head back. We gotta get back to our universe." Kayla said.
Danny and Dani goes to tell alternate Team Phantom while Kayla stands thinking, as she knows what will happen once Camila is taken care of. Annaya approaches her as she knows what Kayla is thinking since she saw the visions from Kayla's telepathy.
"Are you, okay, dear one?" Annaya asked.
"To be honest, Your Majesty, no. Anandlok is right about one thing. It's still the beginning. Once my sister is defeated once and for all, I fear that..." Kayla said but couldn't finished her sentence due to her fear of what she knew.
Annaya placed a comforting hand on Kayla's shoulder.
"I understand. I saw in your visions. Just focus on defeating your sister first and then you'll find a way to deal with your other problem." Annaya said before she turned to look at Danny and Dani who were speaking to Team Phantom. "And always remember this, no matter what happens, you are never alone."
"Yeah, you're right, Your Majesty." Kayla said.
"Come, Your Highness. We better get back to Fenton Works." Annaya said.
With that, the two royals joined Danny, Dani and alternate Team Phantom back to Fenton Works.
And that's the end of this chapter. Okay, for anyone that knows why Kayla's worried, don't say anything, I don't want you to spoil , well the rescue operation was a success. The Phantom Blasters were able to get Manfred. Well, what will happen as Danny, Dani and Kayla are about to head back to their universe? Find out next time in the next chapter. Please review. :)
