Leo had pretty much fallen asleep by the time CJ left to get a coffee. Things had been a little too peaceful to stay awake the whole time! He shifted in his seat as the door closed behind CJ. Nothing had happened by the looks of it which was good. True he was sure CJ didn't think so. His phone then went off in his pocket. Josh. Leo left the room thinking that CJ would be back soon and made his way down to the reception on the bottom floor. He then managed to answer his phone.

"Josh." Leo sighed, rubbing his eyes.

"Hi Leo. Just wondering if you had any news?" Josh asked.

"Not yet. Why don't you and Sam come over to see for yourself?"

"We're busy." Josh said.

"No you're not. You're both sitting there twiddling your thumbs." Leo answered a bit snappily.

"How did you.."

"I know everything Josh. You can't get past me."

"Fine. We'll be there."

"Good and if you don't want to come, you can go to the White House." Leo smiled.

"I know where I would rather be." Josh said sleepy.

"Good." Leo ended the call.

Leo chuckled as he looked down at his phone. Josh always knew how to get out of work when he could. Sam had a bad influence on him. Not saying that Sam doesn't work but he seems very casual about it.

"We're wanted at the hospital." Josh put his phone down rubbing his forehead.

Sam sighed loudly. He hadn't wanted to move until there was some sort of emergency and he was sure there wasn't an emergency at the hospital Leo couldn't solve!

"Do we have to?!" Sam moaned.

"Unless you want to go back to the White House." Josh shrugged.

"Not really." Sam moaned again.

"Oh come on Sam. CJ might need us." Josh tried to reason with Sam.

"She has Leo."

"That's always your excuse!"

"Fine!" Sam got up and got his coat.

"Thank you."

Sam was the first one out of the door. Josh stayed behind a little just to make sure Sam didn't change his mind. He was sure Sam was going to moan the whole journey but it would be worth it.

Agent Butterfield was looking through the final report from the police. They had given them enough copies so that all White House staff had one each and then he also had one. He hated looking through these. It just made his job worse!

"Sir." A sound came from the door.

Ron slowly rose his head from sleepiness. Agent Casper was standing there leaning up against the frame.

"Agent Casper." Ron welcomed the agent in.

"Sorry to disturb you." Casper said looking down at the files filling Ron's desk.

"No it's alright. Just finished." Ron closed the file.

"Police report?"

"Yeah. Even though it's pretty clear what happened." Ron sighed.

"Well you can't be angry at them for not trying."

"True. Was there something you wanted?"

"Just coming to check on you I guess."

"Me?!" Ron smirked.

"Well I thought no one would have checked on you yet. I wanted to see how you were." Casper shrugged.

"I don't know what you mean. I'm fine." Ron put up a front.

"I didn't mean any disrespect." Casper tried to speak.

"Thank you Agent Casper." Ron returned to his work.

This was a cue for Casper to leave. He quickly got up from his seat. He didn't want to make Ron angry especially in this state which could make it worse. He gently closed the door behind him. He let out a loud sigh once he was out.

"How is he?" Another agent asked.

"Ask him yourself." Casper chuckled.

Casper then left for the residence. Maybe the president could calm Ron down!

CJ returned with two cups of coffee. She tutted when she saw that Leo wasn't in the room. She placed the coffee down on the table that was placed near Leo's seat. She was sure he would need it once he came back in. She then returned to her seat next to the bed. Even though it was nice to have Leo around, it was nice to have some time to herself and Simon but it wasn't going to last. Leo soon returned with a loud bang of the door against the wall. Leo tried to say sorry but just got a look from CJ.

"Any change?" Leo asked hopefully.

"Not yet." CJ smiled trying to keep hopeful as well.

"Thanks for the coffee." Leo noticed.

"No worries."

"Sam and Josh are joining us."

"I thought they went home."

"They did but they have nothing to do so they're coming here."

"Right. I bet that wasn't Sam's idea."

"I don't suppose it was but he's coming along."

"What would we do without him?"

Leo chuckled under his breath at this from CJ. This was one of the happiest things she had said that morning. Maybe things were turning around for the work colleagues. Leo took a loud slurp of the coffee, CJ had got him. This annoyed CJ but she didn't say anything because of her attention to Simon.

"That's not helpful you know." CJ said once Leo had stopped.

"Sorry. Thought it might cheer us up." Leo smiled.

"Well thanks for the comfort Leo."

Leo went back to staring out of the window waiting for Josh's car to turn up. CJ liked the quiet when everyone stopped talking. Plus she knew there wasn't going to be much quiet once Josh and Sam turned up! She leaned in and gave a kiss to Simon's forehead. She then stroked the hair out of his face. There wasn't much of it but it still bothered her when it covered his face.

"I'm sure he wouldn't like you changing his hairstyle." Leo suggested.

"Oh I think he'd like it." CJ chuckled.

"Well you'll have to ask him."

"I will and I'll be sure to put your input in as well."

"Thanks!"

CJ shook her head at Leo. Leo then saw something he didn't like. Something that would change this morning.

"Oh no!" He muttered.

"What is it?" CJ asked concerned.

"The press are here." Leo got up from his chair.

"Well that's to be expected." CJ tutted.

"I'm sure Sam and Josh can deal with it." Leo sat back down.

CJ nodded as she looked out the window. The press continued to come in droves. Being press secretary she was used to seeing this amount of people but right now she could really do without a huge mass of people.

Something changed her attention though. Something was stroking her hand. It couldn't be! Could it?
