¨Love is our greatest ally, through it we shall always find happiness¨ - Alaska

It was one day until Severine was to be married. The Pevensies had confirmed they would all come, and Severine was extremely excited. She spent the night with her sisters and their friends. She was relieved that Fleurine was eating more frequently, and that took off the pressure and worry. The morning of the wedding, the Pevensies were already at the venue, it was a large wedding hall in Beruna, flowers were anywhere they would fit, and the large and grand windows lit the rooms spectacularly.

The two sisters were dressed in fine gowns. Severine´s was an elegant and lacy gown with an a-line skirt which flowed as she walked. Fleurine and the other bridesmaids wore emerald green dresses that fell straight down and had embroidered flowers along the structured bodices. The groomsmen wore fancy emerald green tunics with gold embroidery and black pants.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the aisle with one another, and Fleurine walked with Kiron´s best man, Darron. Next was the flower girl and ring bearer, which were the children of their favorite neighbor. And finally Severine with their neighbor, Gendall, walked slowly down the aisle as the whole room had tears as the couple read their vows. Fleurine could not help but glance at Edmund's sweet brown eyes through the whole ceremony, and he stared into her brown and blue eyes the whole time. The whole building was filled with enough love for a whole kingdom, and under Aslan´s blessing they were wed.

The dinner was wonderful, everyone shared their speeches and stories. Laughter echoing throughout the air soon turned into awws as the couple shared their first dance. After the bride and groom danced with their respective parental figures the rest of the guests joined for the fun. Susan and Lucy made friends with the men there and danced with them all, Peter seemed incredibly interested in Severine´s best friend Verada. Edmund made his way to the table Fleurine was at and sat next to her.

¨Enjoying the party from a distant are we?¨ He asked

¨I could say the same to you¨

¨I suppose you could, what do you say we join them?¨

Fleurine was a little shocked at this, she wondered how he felt about her.

¨Oh, I couldn´t. Besides there are plenty of beautiful ladies that would love to dance with you¨ Why did she always deny herself a good thing?

¨That may be true, but there's only one beautiful lady I´d like to dance with¨

If she was a little shocked before then now she was practically paralyzed. He thought she was beautiful, what a wondrous thing.

¨Did I say something wrong¨

Now he was worried, did he just ruin things? He thought with how they were more comfortable near one another there could be a chance she felt the same. But in the second she didn't answer he regretted it.

¨Not at all, you just- caught me off guard, sorry ¨

Feeling relieved he took her hand and led her to the floor. The first few songs were fast paced and were quite fun for everyone. But soon everyone tired and the musicians played slower more romantic and intimate song. Everyone in Narnia knew the steps to it, but for Edmund and Fleurine, this would be their first time dancing it. The beginning of the dance was slow, starting with the couples circling each other, then they joined. The men holding the women´s waist with one hand, and the women holding the men's shoulder with one hand, the other hand was joined. But this part of the song required quick footwork, the couples moved quickly while pressed tightly against one another.

Edmund and Fleurine could feel every muscle move, every breath, and every stir of a hair. The song slowed again, the women would now be dipped as slowly as possible and brought up just as slow. When they were lifted the left leg was wrapped around the man's right, and the pair's movement would be one. For most first timers this part was difficult, the free legs would need to be perfectly in sync. But for Edmund and Fleurine it was no challenge, everytime they moved they were weightless, and it was as if they shared a brain. When they split so he could spin her you could feel the need to be pressed back against each other, he brought her back in as fast as he could. The short week they were apart felt like a year to them, and this danced showcased that. Whenever he lifted her up he ensured her landing was soft, and whenever her hand left his she brought them back together.

When the dance finally ended they were pressed tightly to one another, not wanting to let go. But they had to and they didn´t dance again that night. When the wedding was over and done Severine was at the home she and Kiron bought, with Kiron. Not wanting to go home alone for a while Fleurine lingered at the hall. She stood outside on one of the balconies, alone. She was a little cold, her sleeves were short and the neckline on the dress was low, she felt a hand touch her waist and turned around.

¨Edmund, I thought you would have left.¨

¨I couldn't. I needed to speak with you¨

¨What about?¨ she asked.

He didn't answer, he brought his free hand to her cheek, caressing it gently. His eyes were dark with love and passion. She held her hand to his, and brought the other to his chest. They both leaned into each other and shared a gentle kiss. This gentle kiss turned into more passionate and deep ones, they each ached for more but knew it couldn´t be, at least not yet. After they pulled apart he brought her body to his and rested his head on hers.

¨Fleurine¨

¨Yes?¨

¨Can we speak now?¨

¨I thought that was what you wanted to speak about.¨

¨No, I wish it was.¨

She pulled away from him, and just looked at him. He didn't meet her eyes.

¨I put a bounty out for Ceslitt. Everyone that knows him said he's missing. I´m sorry, I promised I would take care of him.¨

¨Edmund, stop.¨ She said lifting his face ¨It isn't your fault, I should've given you information, you could have caught him sooner.¨

Edmund was finally beginning to see the Fleurine her sister knew. The compassionate, and selfless woman that was slowly beginning to speak up. Even after what happened she blamed herself, it was clear to him the effects of Ceslitt´s abuse were still there. She had apologized just earlier, how often did she do this?

¨What?¨ she asked

¨Nothing, it's just i'm sure even with your description he would've gotten away.¨

She didn't say anything, she just returned into his chest.
