INT. JEFF'S CAR - DAY
Jeff is driving with Destiny in the passenger seat.
JEFF: Are you sure you're feeling okay to go to school today?
DESTINY: I'm fine. Just still a little shocked about yesterday.
JEFF: From now on, I'm driving you everywhere. I don't care how you feel about it.
DESTINY: (reluctant) Fine.
JEFF: I lost our parents. I don't want to lose you, too, Destiny. You're all that I have left. I love you.
DESTINY: I love you, too. I don't want to lose you either.
EXT. LAKEHART HIGH SCHOOL - DAY
They arrive and Jeff drives up to the sidewalk leading to the main walkway. Destiny gets out of the car.
JEFF: Have a good day at school.
DESTINY: I'll try.
As she heads for the courtyard, she passes by Alexis, who gives her a warm smile. Destiny smiles back. Alexis sees Jeff and approaches the car. Jeff rolls down the window for them to speak to each other.
ALEXIS: Hey.
JEFF: Hey. Come on in.
INT. JEFF'S CAR - DAY
Alexis gets into the car and sits on the passenger's seat.
ALEXIS: I heard about yesterday. She seems to be okay.
JEFF: She's strong.
ALEXIS: Yeah.
JEFF: Would you like to have dinner with us tonight?
ALEXIS: Do you think Destiny would be okay with that?
JEFF: She already knows that we have history. She may as well see us together...if you'd like to give us a try again.
Alexis smiles and nods.
ALEXIS: I'd love to.
Jeff and Alexis stare at each other for a moment before they lean in for a kiss.
INT. LAKEHART HIGH SCHOOL - ENGLISH CLASS - DAY
All the main teens are in McCoy's English Class. And you can guess what they're discussing about.
CHRIS: Screw the history about Greg Montana. Our very own Destiny Faulkner was rescued by the Ghostface. We should write about that.
MCCOY & DESTINY: No!
CHRIS: Aww!
AMANDA: I just can't believe that this has happened.
JASON: First Schuyler is killed, then Destiny is saved from a gang of rapists.
CHRIS: Do you guys know what this means?
Everyone turns to Chris for his answer.
CHRIS: Ghostface is actually back and is set on taking out the entire Venedict criminal organization.
MCCOY: Let's change the subject. No speculations and theories, please.
BELL RINGS
Everyone rises to leave.
MCCOY: Alright. I'll see you all tomorrow.
Everyone starts leaving. McCoy has his eye on one of his students.
MCCOY: Daniel?
Daniel stops before he makes to the door and turns to his teacher.
MCCOY: Can you stay for a moment. I'd like to talk to you.
Daniel turns to see that everyone has left.
DANIEL: Of course.
INT. HALLWAY/OUTSIDE ENGLISH CLASS - DAY
SHOT ON CLASSROOM DOOR FROM WITHIN THE HALL
DANIEL: What's this about?
MCCOY: It's about Destiny.
The classroom door closes on us, preventing us from hearing their conversation.
INT. VENEDICT MANSION - OFFICE - DAY
Rydell is ranting and raving to his boss over Ghostface kidnapping Kila. Venedict is at his desk with Drax and Judith nearby as they listen to Rydell's raging rant.
RYDELL: That son of a bitch stole my car, kidnapped my girl, and threatened us over her phone. I swear if that fucker lays a hand on her, I'm killing himself myself. I will cut his fucking heart out and make him live long enough for me to pull it out, show it to him, and shove it down his fucking throat!
VENEDICT: Well, save the pieces for the rest of us. I still want a piece of him. Remember to bring him alive.
RYDELL: I'm sorry, Boss. But I want him fucking dead if he kills my Kila. I want to fuckin do it myself.
VENEDICT: We must figure out who this Ghostface person is. So how do we go about figuring that out?
DRAX: I say that we find out who the girl that he saved is.
VENEDICT: What does the girl have to do with him?
DRAX: Think about it. Clay and his team weren't his targets. It's Portman, Luther, Rydell, Kila, and Schuyler.
VENEDICT: Right.
DRAX: He tracked down Schuyler easily at the bar they frequent. Everyone knows that they hang out there.
VENEDICT: Of course.
DRAX: But he didn't know where Kila would be last night. He had to figure that out by finding out from someone within our organization.
VENEDICT: Makes sense.
DRAX: The way to do that is to find someone out in the open like that. And one way to lure one of our people; Is if a vulnerable and weak teenage girl is out in the open by herself.
VENEDICT: Right...Everyone knows that would happen.
DRAX: Right. Ghostface would know this. But how did he know to be there at that particular time and place to know that this girl would be there if...
VENEDICT: (realizing) He knew she'd be there.
DRAX: Which means...
Everyone finally realizes the truth...
RYDELL: It's somebody that she knows!
DRAX: Exactly.
It finally hits Venedict as he realizes what must be done.
VENEDICT: Find out who this girl is. Find out about everyone close to her; family, friends, classmates, teachers. Anyone who would know her daily routines and schedule. If we find out who would know all of that about her...then we find out who our Ghostface killer is.
They all smile, satisfied that this is the perfect plan to discover their foe.
