The clean up took a few weeks but with the tree of us in suits it went by fast. Erica was already working on the blueprints to rebuild and update some of the building we even added an extra museum where she took all the ideas and made a Smithsonian worthy museum. But surprisingly the only thing she had trouble doing was my well your house.

"Tony I am not putting in a shark tank!" ok more like I was causing problems.

"well, what about a jungle waterfall for the pool?"

"fine that's do able. But lasers?"

"that's the lab list sorry I kind of put the two together."

"and that's on an entirely different list."

"did you watch Austin powers again?"

"Tony come on I need an actually living room list."

"really do you honestly think I haven't already done that. There is a massive TV which honestly why do you need on that big."

"right, anyway look I've designed it to be some what like the old one just looks at it and tell me yes or no."

"you didn't even look."

"babe we are going to be married so yes whatever you want goes."

The look she gave me had me picking up the plans and looking at it. sometimes I forget about her temper which is best left alone. And right now, I'm glad I looked she purposely added thing she knows without a doubt I hate. Quickly I removed the Hammer crap she put in to where I would have to look at all of it. when I was done, she was smiling, and I just smirked.

"did I get them all?"

Quickly I looked again and there was an embedded file that I opened. It was a massive skyrise with an arc reactor powering it with the Stark logo on it. at the very bottom was a little note.

"really you want a skyscraper for a wedding present?"

"yep"

"deal but I get R and D."

"Deal, besides the company needs a New York location and the Stark relief foundation need a new office."

Now that had me confused. Did I start a foundation and not know it did Pepper?

"I started it after all my name is about to be Stark."

Oh, that little minx. Quickly I left my work bench and wrapped my arms around her picking her up and stepping between her legs.

"that you are my nightingale, that you are. So, are you ready for that or do we need to wait?"

"well, I was thinking actually what about July 8th."

"the anniversary of when we first met, I like it but you kind of need a year in there."

"then get my gift built in time."

"really?"

"I want are first night in that building to be as husband and wife understood mister."

Slowly I kissed her, and she reciprocated surprisingly we haven't had sex yet but hey it took me years to even kiss her and if I remember correctly, she wasn't a virgin, but she still had very few boyfriends. Pulling away the look in her eyes was one of fire and passion. No matter what I could always tell what she was thinking and right now I was using all my strength not to give her what she wanted right here and now.

"right anyway if I remember I was trying, and you had a very dark look in you're the same one you just had."

"oh, I remember but now I don't have to pretend I didn't want you then or even now."

"then what are we still doing down here."

Grabbing her I carried her to my no are room and by god that was definitely worth the years of waiting.

When morning came felt an arm over me. Turning around it was Tony and for once he was sound asleep. He pulled me into his chest so I could hear his heartbeat but also here the hum of the reactor. I was almost back asleep when Jarvis woke us up.

"sir, mam I am sorry to wake you, but agent Romanoff is in the foyer."

"no"

"sir I"

Jarvis cut off and she walked in smirking.

"nice rock sorry to do these guys but furry wants both of you to meet him. He didn't really give me much time to get you two. I tried to give you more time but now we really have to go."

"Tony sat up and made sure I was covered and look unimpressed.

"what were you just waiting down there?"

"yea actually for at least thirty minutes so now we really don't have time."

"thank you, Nat we will be down shortly."

She left and Tony turned to me with a raised brow.

"Nat"

"its her nickname she said her friends call her that."

"her name is agent."

"Tony"

"fine but we are showering first."

To everyone's surprise we were on time.

"she's a good influence on you Stark."

"win anymore bets."

"yes, which is why I allowed you more time this morning."

"bets what bets, why I'm I left out of the loop on this thing?"

Furry hand him the file which was his profile Nat did on him then he handed me mine. Surprisingly, I received high praises for keeping clam during the expo and for my help on the recue side of it.

"at this point we would only like you as a consultant but if we ever did bring Iron Man in, we would bring Nightingale in as well."

"no, she's non-combat."

"easy Stark she would only work on recuse and keeping civilians at bay she won't be in a fight unless on come to her."

"Tony it the exact thing you made my suit for."

"fine but they can't afford me. Although I may be willing to ways the consulting fees, the three of us is to receive award at the end of the month."

"I'll see what I can do."

I smirked knowing exactly what they were planning after all Furry and Tony did have similar since of humor. Leaving Tony was quiet and too quiet, but I let him have his thinking as I worked on the new building. We were halfway home when his rambling started.

"you need a suit upgrade I was thinking watertight you know for underwater recuses. Oh, I need that too I mean if your can do mine needs too. How about?"

"Tony what are you actually worried about?"

"you in the line of fire what else! Shield wanting me that is one thing but you! Hell no!"

"Tony you heard Furry I would be cleanup."

"that not what I heard it would be like the Expo all over again and I can't I won't have you in danger like that."

"Tony I will only work with them if your ok with it and besides, I have opening to attend to. I already had to push one back so next month will have two to do."

"right which ones again?"

"Texas and Minnesota"

"Tony their time sensitive"

He went quite and nodded "when do we leave?"

"Tony"

"the time sensitive ones are always the hardest one's for you I'm going end of story."

I nodded knowing he would be my strength this time.
