"There was the punching machine, Janken, and Karaoke," Genkai said. "Two out of three advances."
Kuri failed the punching machine, but she got fifteen out of fifteen on Janken and a top score on Karaoke so she advanced. Reiko beat her at punching. Naruto topped the charts in the Karaoke, failed at Janken, and was moderate at punching. Sasuke was moderate in Karaoke, top scores at Janken, and moderate at punching.
Really one weird contest, but this once again attempts to bring out the fighter's spiritual talent. Anko thought watching them. The Karaoke measures chakra. That Naruto kid and that Gaara kid tied for top in that one. The Janken measures genjutsu. Sasuke and Neji topped the scores in that one, though Reiko did surprisingly well herself. The punching game measures ninjutsu and Taijutsu. Hm...that Rock Lee kid got the top scores in that one.
