I would have never guessed that someyhing like this story would manage to gather so much attention

Helen's POV
We were taken to the hospital, where the three of us were treated. Dad arrived pale, looking for a wound on us, next to him is Tyler with a cut on his eyebrow and a nurse treating him.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Calm down" Bella responded
"I'm so sorry, Bella. I tried to stop"
"It's okay, Tyler."
"It sure as hell is not okay."
"It's not his fault"
"I nearly lost both of you." Your eyes get wet just thinking about it
"But you didn't" We answer at the same time
"The doctor said I'll need a kiss on my head every 8 hours for 3 days" I interrupted with puppy eyes, dad just laughed and gave me my first dose, I don't understand how my sister is uncomfortable with him, he is the best father in the world. Of course Isabella doesn't know more than what she sees, which is now I presume... Dr. Cullen
"I heard the Chief's daughter was here."
My eyes went to the patriarch Cullen, mid 30's, approaches, blond, handsome. His face is kind, but pale, tired.
"I've got this one, Jackie."

Dad abruptly pulled the curtain between us.
"It would have been a lot worse if Edward hadn't knocked me out of the way"
"Edward? Your boy?"
Dr. Cullen quickly looked at the chart. Bella's eyes blink, suspecting the Doctor's knowledge.
"It was amazing he got to me so fast. He was nowhere near us - Se turned to me - right, Helen?"
"I didn't see where he was before, I just know he has incredible reflexes to get us out of the van's path"
The doctor smiled
"As long as you're safe"
As we left the treatment area, Dad went to sign some papers and warned us to call Renèe, who must be hysterical. I wouldn't be surprised if she thinks we have a cast with her imagination. Bella pulled out her phone to call her when suddenly she passes me the phone and goes into a hallway
"Bella! are you okay? Charlie called me; how are you both?
"Hi mom, I'm Helen, we're fine, it was just Bella who had the bump."
"Oh my babies" I can hear her sobbing on the other side of the line
"Nothing serious happened, really."
"Well - you can hear her breathing from the other side, these are exercises to calm down? - Can you pass me Bella?"
"Wait a minute..." I follow the hallway she went to last time, she is talking to our savior. "You stopped that van. You pushed it - great! Best time to interrupt - Helen saw it too" They both look at me
"I already told you, I just saw that he pushed us, thank you by the way"
Edward nods and leaves, but my twin looks at me with fury
"Mom wants to talk to you." She takes the phone away from me and walks away
It seems that I expected too much from her, she is obsessed with a boy that she has only seen in biology, the cafeteria and the gym, as a moth to the flame will enter her world, I could never do that, I must be prepared and not be a lamb offered on a silver platter.
Time skip -
When we arrived at the house, Dad stayed in the living room while we went into our rooms.
Although I thought I would be limited in this era of low internet dominance, I did not realize the benefits, this was the beginning of the era of internet dependency, anyone in the Empire would be a cyber security, programming and hacking genius if transported here, and I was no exception. So I upgraded the laptop that Dad bought and made it even better with runes, there's no telling what would happen.

A request came in to improve a company's firewall. I accepted it and worked on it until I felt the barriers were activated. Three years ago I created a rune formation around the house, just for vampires. Dad is a friend of the shapeshifters and it wouldn't be normal to ask them for a vial of blood.
Should I be a Cullen or another? it doesn't really matter, my father will be protected and if Isabella wants to enter that world she will not enter it again
"You shall no pass" whispers and I could not suppress my laughter, I loved those books. It is a pity that almost everything was lost in the fourth war and our ancestors had to leave the planet.

So Edward can't get into Bella's room to watch her sleep, I really think it's creepy
