Natasha stood at the tall mirror putting her hair into a high ponytail while Steve put on some workout clothes. Steve was about to close his drawer when something caught his attention. It was the black box that held something that he had been trying to figure out for weeks. It held the white-gold band with a small emerald that he bought for Natasha weeks ago. He hid it in his sock drawer thinking that he could bring it and propose to her here.
"Hey Nat" he called, closing the dresser drawer.
"Yeah babe" she walked out and planted a kiss next to his mouth. He wrapped his arms around her waist before kissing her slowly. He sucked on her lower lip ever so slightly and she moaned into the kiss. He pressed her lower back to him and savouring the feeling of having her in his arms. He opened his lips and she shoved her tongue in on instinct. Her hands found his scalp and she ran her hands through his short blonde hair. They slowly broke apart and rested their foreheads against each other. Steve gave her a huge goofy grin and she pecked his lips.
"You certainly got my attention Rogers" she crossed her arms over her chest.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date tonight, just the two of us" He stuttered out. That was something that Natasha loved, they had been dating for almost a year and he still got nervous because he wanted to act like a gentleman.
"Sure, I love our kids, but they would turn date night into some form of human psychology experiment"
"And they have" They both laughed and left their room.
Since everybody here knew that they were a couple, they had no issue holding hands or Steve having an arm around Natasha's waist. They walked into the gym where they found the triplets, Shuri, Ramonda, T'Challa, Okoye, Ayo, and U'Wasi standing. Ronnie and Shuri were in the corner doing a yoga tutorial, Xander and Henry were on a mat having a not so friendly brotherly spar, and everyone else was getting ready to train Xander. It was also a part of Xander's deal that Henry, Shuri, and Ronnie had to be trained because if he was out, he would be worrying about them and not be able to do his job right.
"Babe, I'm gonna go hang with the girls"
"Mkay'' Steve gave her a kiss on the cheek and she sprinted over to Ayo and Okoye. T'Challa and U'Wasi were standing near the two brothers. Xander threw his left fist at Henry who ducked and hit Xander twice in the stomach. Xander fell backwards and used his momentum to push himself off his shoulders to stand up again. Henry twisted himself around and kicked his foot into Xander's chest. Xander fell flat on his butt. Henry held his hand out.
"Fair fight bro"
"Fair bro"
Steve walked up while U'Wasi and T'Challa finished their conversation.
"Xander make sure that you keep your shoulder up or Henry might've been able to twist it and Henry amazing progress, keep your feet firm and you might be able to beat your Mom one day."
The three of them snickered. Yeah, that is never going to happen.
"Are you ready to start?" T'Challa stepped into the ring.
"I hope so" Xander told him as his brother and father left the ring.
Four hours later the large group was finishing up to get to lunch and so that Shuri and Ronnie could go shopping and visit the farms. Steve and Natasha could definitely see the similarity between T'Challa and Xander's fighting styles, although Xander had adapted more of Steve's fighting style in the last year. T'Challa finally pinned Xander to the ground after four minutes.
"You're taking longer to get pinned, we shall keep working on this, you are much better than I was at my age." T'Challa helped the boy stand up.
"Thanks T'Challa"
"Great job bro, Shuri and I are gonna go shopping and then go see the farms" Ronnie leaned in and whispered "And maybe get some materials for experiments"
Her brothers beamed at her and the princess. "Sure"
"I heard that," Natasha told them.
"Please Mom" all four kids made puppy eyes at Natasha who lovingly rolled her eyes.
"Fine, but Nakia and me get to go with you" Natasha crossed her arms, there was no getting out of this and Mamaspider wanted a new dress for her date.
"Okay" the four say together.
Natasha looked at them "Oh no, there's more of them" she thinks. "Well at least we don't have to talk to our neighbors when they hear sounds from inventions coming from the floor above them"
Everyone changed back into some clothes for walking around. The triplets have started wearing more Wakandan style clothes thanks to Shuri and they wanted to get some more from the outdoor market. The four mini-scientists also wanted to see if they could get any metal that was affected by the storm and experiment on.
The six picked up some new clothes and were heading to one of the farms that had a small electrical issue due to the storm last night to make sure that they were okay.
"Hello" Nakia called out as they walked onto the farm property.
"Princess, Prince, Nakia" an elderly man came out and greeted them.
"Still weird being called that" Xander jokes. Everyone in Wakanda was the model of secrecy so they all knew about the new prince who lived in America.
Two young children came running out. "Princess! Come look at our newborn goats"
Shuri grabbed the triplets' hands and dragged them over to where a pen was with the animals. "C'mon guys, they're sooooo cute"
From what Natasha had heard from Nakia about this family is that the old man in front of her was the Grandfather, the children's mother was a retired member of the Dora Milaje whose husband worked overseeing the mines, and the children were 7 and 10.
"Are you recovering well from last night?" Nakia asked as the three walked, but Natasha felt kind of awkward and was looking for any excuse to go over to her kids.
"MOM COME LOOK AT THIS GOAT!" Henry and Ronnie shouted. Natasha looked to the two adults sympathetically but was smiling on the inside. She ran over to her kids who were holding a bunch of baby goats.
Natasha took one of the white goats from Henry. "Bayathandeka"/They look lovely.
"Enkosi"/thank you. The boy responds, grinning down at a small lamb.
The younger girl looked at Natasha curiously "Izinwele zakho zibukeka zingaqhelekanga"/Your hair looks unusual. This got a laugh out of the triplets and Shuri but Natasha only got hair out of that sentence so she assumed it was about it's color.
""Amyra. Yiza ngapha"/Amyra. Come over here. Amyra's brother called.
Natasha took out her phone and she took a picture of the three kids with the goats for her Instagram.
"I thought you had to keep them a secret." Shuri asked Natasha when she posted it.
"It's under Natalie Rushman's instagram, most people like to post about their kids and because of the age on my id I gave to other people and the school district, so long story short, I have an active insta account" Natasha tells her and Shuri makes an 'O' with her mouth.
"Shuri!" Ronnie yelled. She had gone over from the animals with Henry over to the wood fence around the property. Xander and Shuri shared a look, they didn't want to gain any unwanted attention. Shuri ran over to the other two and Xander stayed to play with his mom and the goats.
"What is it?" Shuri asked.
"Wait" Henry told her. She went around and found Ronnie picking something out of the ground with her rubber gloves that appeared out of nowhere. She lifted a small shard of metal and put it in a small case that was in one of her bags.
"We should go soon. This needs to be analyzed before it loses any of the electric pulses" Henry told Shuri.
"Let's go" Shuri ran forward. "Natasha. It's time"
Natasha knew that they needed to get back soon anyway so she could get ready for her date but she sensed mischief surrounding the kids.
"Okay"
Henry took his mom's hand but the other three walked behind them, trying to make sure that nobody saw what they were carrying.
