Heads up, Be prepared for a rollercoaster of a ride. A lot of changes is about to unfold.

Just as the sun began to rise, Mufasa woke to a paw nudging him. The golden prince blinked his amber eyes open to see his father looking down at him.

"Come, I want to show you something."

Mufasa yawned before following the bronze king to the cave entrance before stopping."What about Haru and Isla?"

"Either your mother or I will show them later."

Mufasa looked at his siblings one last time before following his father. The golden cub followed Ahadi to the summit of priderock where the sun just started to rise.

"Wow!" the gold cub looked out into the slowly sun bathed kingdom in awe.

Ahadi smiled down at his son. "I said the same thing when your mother showed me." the bronze lion looks out towards the kingdom, "One day, Mufasa, your mother or I won't be here. But you will rise as the new king."

Mufasa looked from the lands to his father, "What about Haru and Isla?"

"They will be prince and princess of the Pridelands. Your advisors."

Mufasa looked unsure before continuing to watch the sunrise.

...

"Hey guys!" smiled Princess Isla as she ran down the path to the water hole. "Where's everyone else?"

"Hi Isla!" the cubs greeted.

The dark red cub, Cassiel looked at the princess as he answered Isla's questions. "Sleeping. Most likely, on their way."

Ahava looked around with wondering dark orange eyes before looking at the princess."Where's Mufasa?"

"Dad is showing him the kingdom." said Haru with irritation in his green eyes.

It's been weeks since the graveyard and finding out Mufasa was to be the future king. It irked him how Ahadi-his adopted father spend more time with Mufasa than him.

Isla sighed before looking at their friends."Haru thinks Mufasa is dad's favorite."

"That's absurd!"

Everycub there looked to see a dark tan cub with a dark brown dorsal stripe running down her face and stopping between her green eyes.

"Who asked you Zira?!"

Zira smiled at her cousin, "Just stating facts. I mean, King Ahadi loves all of you."

Haru rolled his eyes, "Well if he loves all of us then why does he just take Mufasa? Can you explain that?"

"Haru, Mufasa's the future king...he's to have his lessons with dad."

"Whatever!" growled Haru before stalking off.

"He has mental issues..." whispered Cassiel.

Sarafina glared while Anna sighed and Zira giggled.

...X...

Frequently Haru has been spending time with the hyenas. The destination he's coming from as the sun falls beyond the horizon.

The brown cub was hoping to return home without anyone stopping him. But as he relived his moments in the graveyard and the fact that Idris promised him his own lesson. Haru didn't pay attention until he bumped into something solid.

Haru shook his head before looking up to stare into the hazel eyes of the king.

"Haru!"

The brown cub groaned, "What is it!"

Ahadi was tooken back by his son's tone but said sternly, "Have you been around the grave yard?"

"And if I have!" Haru was little more than upset. Uru and Ahadi want him to stay away from the hyenas who saved his life.

The bronze lion narrowed his hazel eyes. "Haru! Hyenas are dangerous! I'm telling you this to protect you!"

Haru sneered, he didn't believe that. "What's so dangerous about them! Especially when they saved my life!"

Ahadi lost it as he roared, "They're killers! They were banished for a reason, Haru!"

Taka shook his head, "Whatever!"

Ahadi took deep breaths before watching in shock as his son stormed away.

...

A few mornings after Ahadi and Haru's fight, the princes and princess were woken up early. A bit before the sun began to rise.

"A few more minutes..." moaned Isla.

"Where are we going?" Haru asked after giving a cubby yawn and rubbed his eyes.

Ahadi smiled and was going to say something when Zuzu flew in."Sire! There's a fight at the waterhole!"

Ahadi sighed before looking at his three cubs, "I'm sorry cubs but this has to be dealt with."

Haru rolled his eyes and growled, "Of course. Right when you're going to do something with me...something happens!"

"Haru..." Ahadi tried but his oldest son wasn't hearing it.

"Forget it!" Haru snarled before stalking away.

...

A few nights after the disappointment, Haru woke up to find the cave sound asleep. He closed his green eyes and yawned before taking one long glance at his parents and siblings, after making sure they were asleep.

The brown cub ran out of the cave. Haru ran to the northan border where Idris stood waiting.

"Well...are you ready for your own lessons?"

Haru nodded and followed the hyena matriarch into the grave yard. They walked to where a bunch of hyenas laid around or chewing on a bone.

"The first thing you need to know is that you respect a hyena they will be loyal to the end."

Haru nodded as he continued to follow Idris to through the waste land."One thing that's important you need to know. You cross a hyena...you will pay with your life!"

Haru jumped at the raised volume but slowly nodded."Got it..."

Idris nodded as a smirk formed, "You will make a wonderful king as long as you also remember that lionesses don't belong on the throne. They only here to produce heirs."

She didn't believe it, giving that females lead the pack. But it was something Athazar wanted.

"If you were to have a daughter she couldn't rule. Mates are different, they're there to tell you how amazing you are. To hunt for you, to tell you, you are adored. To make you immoral."

Idris couldn't believe this shit she was saying. It literally made her sick but it was apart of the plan.

Haru nodded as the information sunk in.

"Well...that's our lesson for tonight. I'm sure his highness will be up soon. Don't need you in trouble."

Haru yawned and bend his body to stretch. "Okay. See ya tomorrow, Miss Idris."

The greyish hyena watched the brown cub climbed up a spine and running off before turning around and heading in the large elephant skull.

...

Once Haru got on solid ground, the prince sprinted off. Not paying attention, the brown cub ran into something hard. Haru looked up quickly at someone clearing their throat. What he saw made his green eyes widen.

"Where have you been, Haru?"

"Um..." Haru tried to come up with a excuse but the look on his father's face told him it was pointless.

"You were with those hyenas weren't you! After I told you how dangerous they are!"

Haru closed his eyes and shouted, "No! No. They're my family...they care about me and my well being!"

Ahadi growled, his son was acting like one of those lions from Pridelands history. That would conspire to get what he wants. The bronze lion shook his head before returning his attention to Haru. "They are nothing but low lives, Haru!"

"No! If anything you're the bad guy! All you care about is Mufasa! Mufasa...Mufasa Mufas...ahhh...!"

Haru was cut off as a large paw met with his face, sending the cub tumbling a few feet.

"Don't ever talk about your brother like that!"

When Haru looked up, Ahadi let out a gasp. Haru had a bloody gash across his left eye.

"Haru...I'm sorry..."

"Save it for someone that cares!" The brown prince sneered before running off.

Ahadi sighed before turning to head home with his head low and with a heavy heart.

...

Rudo, the pack's healer laid in the large skull cleaning Haru's wound as Idris sat watching.

"Ouch!" Haru winched.

"Sorry, my prince." she was really sorry. She hated Uru and Ahadi with a passion but this was low.

"I told you Haru...I told you. Now do you believe me?"

Haru pulled away from the light gray hyena and nodded.

"Now my dear boy, you need a name change. Hmmmm..."

"But what..?" Haru asked after returning back to the hyena healer.

"Um...my prince I'm afraid you're going to have a scar for life." Rudo said with a sad sigh. Now she really couldn't stand Ahadi.

"That's it!" Idris shouted excitingly with a smirk as her yellow eyes shined.

"What is?" Haru said with his head tilted. He was curious as to what his friend came up with.

Idris smirked wider as she pointed a greyish paw to his scar."Welcome to the family Scar."

AN; Here's the big change everyone was waiting for. What do you think?
