With The Twins
We find the twins on a beach staring out to sea, holding hands.
"Sadly Dad left no marks on the island for us, Race you there?" Naruko asks.
"Your on, One" He replies, lowering himself for a run.
"Two" She replies.
"One" they say together.
As they push off they shatter the ground underneath them, a split second later a sonic boom follows as they broke the sound barrier.
In less than 15 minutes they spot the island and its first line of defence the wirpools, at the speed they are traveling they just jump and land past all of the whirlpools and find the second line of defence.
The second line is just as easy for the twins as they jump over the sharp rocks hidden just under the waves.
The last line however they can't just jump over and they stop.
"Tie?" Naruto asks, not even winded.
"Yeah" She replies.
"Now about that barrier" he says as they activate their sharingans.
"Best I have ever seen, it's an invisible detection and security barrier." She replies.
"It's got an adaptable blood seal matrix mixed with a chakra detection Section as well." he states in awe at the complex barrier over the whole island.
"Yeah, lets see if we qualify; shadow clones?" she asks.
"Yeah it's for the best, mom did come here once as well so we shouldn't have any problems, it should adapt for every qualifying person and since we are her kids it should recognize us." He replies.
"Talk about a masterpiece of seals, you recording it too?" she asks.
"Of course think about all the things we could do with this." he replies.
As they finish their shadow clones approach the barrier and pass though with no problems before they dispel.
"Lets go see what else is in store for us." she states.
When they pass through the barrier they notice another one that matches the island's coast.
"That one maybe a little harder to get past." He comments.
"Mom's jornal never said anything about this." she states.
"Yah, a solid barrier preventing travel in or out; looks like another Uzumaki lives." he says.
"I can think of two ways past this, perfect Susanoo or full Kurama transformation." She says.
"Why Not both" he replies with a smirk.
"I'll get the susanoo you wake up the fur ball." she remarks.
'Two things, one I'm awake two I'M NOT A FURBALL' Kurama rages in their minds.
'Not asleep that's rare what piqued your interest' Naruko asks.
'That new barrier' Kurama responds.
'Ready?' Naruto asks
'Of course' he replies.
Chakra explodes out of them as they hold hands; It takes the form of a massive nine tailed fox covered in red armor.
In wave
"What, what is this?" Tazuna asks, feeling the twins all the way back on the bridge.
"That would be the twins, I fear what pushed them to go so far we can feel it from here Kakashi responds, dropping his book.
'Why did I let you two go, Lord Third will have my head for this.' he thinks.
In Konoha
"So we come all the way here to check on our grandkids…" Tsunade says, looking off in the direction of whirlpool.
"My god, that's the direction of Wave, what could push those two so far?" Jiraiya states before both of them dart out of the Hokage's office twords Wave.
'Please be safe you two' Hiruzen thinks looking out his window towards the presence.
With the Twins
"TAILED BEAST SUSANOO" The twins shout.
The nine tailed susanoo holding a large ethereal katana coated in black flames suddenly swings at the barrier shattering it in one go.
They release the gigantic form landing gently on the island like nothing happened.
"That was fun," Naruko says giggling like a lunatic.
"Yeah it was" Naruto replies with a chuckle.
"Come on let's go to the village." He says.
They then disappear in a blur towards the far side of the island leaving a boom behind as they depart.
When the village comes into view they see something that makes their blood boil.
There are no less than 7 ships from Kumo here covered in men running from the ruins to their boats filled with hundreds of crates.
They release massive quantities of killing intent and chakra as they see this and all of the kumo shinobi stop and look down the beach to see two blond haired kids realising this much presence.
A dark skinned man with a muscular build with white blond hair sporting a goatee with the kanji for iron on his shoulder, begins walking towards the kids.
When he gets close Naruto speaks "It's nice to meet you eight, we're Nine."
"Well it is nice to meet you I'm B, but there's only one nine." B says in an unusually serious tone.
Naruko says "We both have half of Kurama, but there's a problem here; we are the last of the wirpools royal house and you are on our island."
"Didn't know there were any other Uzumaki left but we have our orders." B says grabbing his swords.
"B, we don't want to fight but if we must, we will destroy you." Naruto says.
"So be it" B says charging them expecting to blitz them in one move.
As his swords are inches from their thoughts they disappear in a blur of yellow and all of his swords shatter into hundreds of pieces while his body is covered in cuts.
"Surender B, we don't want to kill a fellow jinchuriki," Naruko says with a sword in hand.
'Gyuki, I couldn't see them move, we are going to have to take this up a notch."
B goes 6 tails version two in an instant facing down the twins who match by going nine tailed version 1.
"That won't help you B, we can always draw more than you." Naruto responds.
B shouts "EVERYONE TWO THE BOATS GET GOING!"
"Nope not happening" Naruko says as she disappears in a blur of red and yellow.
She slices the kumo shinobi left and right jumping from boat to boat faster than they can react, leaving only a single red haired girl alive.
B sees the shower of blood this mere child left behind in absolute shock.
Red chakra Erupts from him and he goes into a full transformation.
Both twins seeing the full eight tails match going into a full transformation as well.
It's now a stair down of Two massive nine tails vs one eight tails.
"Surrender you can't win" They say in unison as red and orange ethereal armor erupts over the two Nine tails.
They suddenly blitz the eight tails, Naruto punches the eight tails into his sister who grabs him and begins spinning and tosses him as hard as she can straight towards Kumo, as he is in the air they both charge a Bijuu-dama and fire them at the shrinking form of Gyuki, when they collide a massive explosion erupts.
When he disappears over the horizon and the two jinchuriki dispel their forms with a sigh.
"Why do we always have to deal with this kind of nonsense; on the bright side, it would appear that he will land just outside Kumo" Naruko asks.
"Kumo won't be happy with this; we are so getting our asses chewed out for this." Naruto reponds.
"No, whirlpool belongs to the fire country and as such we repelled invaders from our lands. It will be a headache but we did the right thing." Naruko responds.
"But we are still being chewed out for doing it on our own." Naruto remarks.
"Probably, lets see what they found; I believe I also found their Uzumaki that got them in." Naruko states.
"Well then we have some questions to ask." Naruto says.
With the lone survivor
"S-stay away from me" the red headed girl says, shaking in fear.
"We won't hurt you if you answer our questions." Naruko responds.
"My name is Karui, I'm a chunin of Kumo, that's all you are getting." she says shakaly.
"Last name?" Naruto says.
She looks hesitant but after a soft look from Naruko she says "U-uzumaki."
"Thought so, that explains a thing or two." Naruto says.
"Now why are you here?" Naruko asks
"We were sent by the Raikage to secure any of my family's remaining info on sealing to help further Kumo's defence." she answers.
"Sadly it's not yours to claim, these lands were passed into the care of the fire dymino after Uzo's fall, till an heir claims it." Naruto responds.
Naruko continues, "As the last two descendants of the Uzumaki's Royal family it rightfully belongs to us."
"We are going to let you go, but tell your Raikage this, The land of Whirlpools has and will likely always belong to Fire Country; if the Fire dymino or the Hokage seek any compensation for this 'invasion' he will have a letter coming." Naruto states.
"Now go." Naruko says and Karui runs as fast as she can to a row boat and begins to row away.
"Now that that is handled let's take a look shall we." Naruko says taking Naruto's hand.
"Lets."
Land of waves
"Lord Jiraiya, Lady Tsunade, it's good to see you." Kakashi says sweating bullets.
"Cut the crap where are the twins?" Tsunade says.
"After we dealt with all the threats on the island they requested a leave to take a trip to Whirlpool and I allowed them." He responds.
"Great, they are not even here." Tsunade states.
"They said they would be back by the end of the week, it's thursday, they should be back tomorrow." Kakashi states.
"We couldn't even get there that fast; it's too far for us to run and a boat is too slow." Jiraiya states
"I guess we will have to wait and see what happened." Tsunade states.
"Don't worry about it too much, those two can handle themselves, knowing them they just went overboard on some bandits" Kakashi states lazily.
With the twins.
"Nothing we didn't know in these scrolls, let's seal them up and take them back with us, don't want anyone taking them." Naruko says.
"Then let's take a look at the main estate, it's still sealed and in perfect shape." Naruto says.
"Lets."
The main estate is a large two story red building with a yellow tile roof, it is built in a very traditional style, it has a translucent red barrier around it.
"This barrier is good, very good; it looks like it's an improved version of the four red suns barrier, It even takes our ems to read." Naruto says.
"I've never seen a barrier the sharingan could not decipher before" Naruko responds.
"Yeah but it appears they didn't know about the Mangekyo" Naruto says.
"Yeah but there is a small flaw here" Naruko points at a spot.
"Yeah if we can exploit that and collapse it, but it's still an amazing barrier I don't think even we could brute force past it, let's right this barrier down first then we can break it." Naruto says.
"What if we put this barrier over the whole leaf village?" Naruko asks.
"Well we would have to find a way to paint seals under buildings to do it, but if we did, it would be the ultimate defence of the village." Naruto says.
After an hour of drawing the barrier on a series of massive scrolls the twins begin to draw on the barrier itself.
"Ready when you are sis." He says.
"Hit it" She responds.
He channels Kurama's chakra into the seals they drew causing them to glow red then the barrier wavers and dissipates.
"Whoever made this barrier didn't make the anti-Bijuu matrix strong enough to stop the nine tails." Naruto says.
"I don't think they were worried about the nine tails, it was held by them after all." Naruko reponds.
"Probably, the jinchuriki of the nine tails has always been of the main house, nobody else can handle him; it's possible that it was left that way in case the seals key was ever lost." Naruto theories.
"It is possible, why would they only make it strong enough to stop up to the eight tails; all they had to do was add one more kanji to do so." Naruko wonders.
"Anyways let's take a look around." Naruto says.
After they look around they are mildly disappointed that the only thing of interest is an old journal left on the main studies desk.
"I wonder what is in this journal, it looks ancient, but it's covered in seals for both preservation and security, same kind of blood seals as the main barrier as well." Naruto states examining the Book.
"One way to find out," Naruko says, as she cuts her thumb and runs it acrost the book.
The book glows for a moment before it opens to the first page and her name appears under a long list of other names, the page reads "List of Clan heads"
"Look at all the names this book must be nearly a thousand years old." Naruko states in awe.
"We can read it with some clones later, it's got expansion seals on it, we may never finish it otherwise; we should get going it's nearly night now" Naruto says as he adds himself to the book.
"Kakashi is probably worried sick, we didn't exactly try and hide our chakra." Naruko responds.
"Somehow I get the feeling that's not all that's waiting for us" He mutters checking his senses.
"Fuck" he says.
"What?" she asks, checking her senses as well.
"We are screwed." she says.
"Come on let's face the music." He sighs.
"First lets make sure nobody else can get to this island again." She says.
"Erase everyone but us from the outer barrier?" he asks
"Probably the easiest way." she states.
"Its anchor is in the basement, let's go." he says.
When they enter the basement room with the barriers anchor they see a large crystal covered in kanji.
"To erase it we need to send a chakra pulse with our blood as a conduit." he says.
"Let's do this then get out of here" Naruko says.
They send the pulse of chakra through and most of the kanji on the stone disappear.
"It's done, the shadow clones leaving marks all over the island are done and the boats have been burned, lets go" Naruto says placing a kiss on her forehead.
They disappear in a flash of yellow.
In Wave
Kakashi, Jiraiya and Tsunade are sitting on Tazuna's Roof waiting for the twins to appear.
In a flash of yellow the two twins appear standing on the roof.
Tsunade immediately tries to punch them but a red ribcage intercepts her fist.
"Now grandma, it's not proper to greet your grandkids with your fists." Naruto smirks.
"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU TWO THINING WE COULD FEEL YOUR CHAKRA IN KONOHA" she roars.
"Well first there was a barrier we had to break, then there was the kumo nin, the eight tails jinchuriki, so yeah we kind of had to let loose a little." Naruko says.
"You mean to tell me you fought the eight tails jinchuriki on your own." Jiraiya says.
"Saying we fought is a little misleading, we kind of humiliated him and through him back to Kumo via the bijuu-dama express route." Naruto states.
"What about the other Kumo nins?" Kakashi asks.
"We killed all but the Uzumaki who we left with a warning." Naruko says.
"Well sensei won't be happy having to send patrols out there," Tsunade says, pulling the twins into a hug.
"Don't worry about it we erased all the blood data from the barrier seal leaving us as the only ones who can get in or out." Naruto states.
"Well that is good at least." Jiraiya states.
"Now brats what is this I hear about you two dating?" Tsunade asks.
"This is going to take a while." Naruko mutters.
Earlier In Kumo
It has been a relatively normal day for the Raikage A, the report from the group he sent to Whirlpool said they found heaps of sealing knowledge for Kumo.
So when the anbu reports that a tailed beast sized chakra was heading straight for Kumo at high speeds he was very concerned, he immediately ordered all civilians to evacuate and all shinobi to be prepared for an invasion.
When He reached the roof of his tower he was shocked to see the fully released eight tails hit the mountain above him and land just outside Kumo, and he was pissed.
When the transformation revealed a cut up and battered Killer B, he was ready to declare war on whoever did this.
When B awoke nearly a week later all he told A when he asked who did he expelled his meeting with the two blond jinchuriki who claimed to be the heirs to Whirlpool and how they utterly humiliated him both in his base and in the full transformation, and how the girl casually slaughtered the rest of the force in seconds meaning he was no longer the fasted alive not even second he was now third and he was pissed.
Letters also arrived from the Fire Dymino, Lightning Dymino, and Hokage; when he was told to pay 100 million for the 'unlawful and unwarranted invasion.' The lightning dymino was also not happy he sent a force to basically loot the village. To say he had some damage control to do was an understatement.
Back With The Twins
"I see, well if it make you two happy so be it I can't stop you even if I wanted to" Tsunade states
"Thank you grandma, we were worried you wouldn't approve." Naruko says hugging her.
"Well, our work here is done, we do need to get back to the leaf" Kakashi says.
"What did they name the bridge?" Naruto asks
"The Twin Legends Bridge, They named each end after one of you two for taking care of all of Gato's men and freeing Wave.
"Alright, everyone gather up, the Hokage is about to leave his office, let's give him some more paperwork tonight" Naruto says.
The group disappears in a flash of yellow.
To say Hiruzen was angry was an understatement, the one night he was going to be home in time for dinner, he had to call a council meeting and call the dymino to discuss this problem.
Council Room Next Afternoon
"Lord Third, I believe we would all like to know why this meeting was called with our esteemed Dymino in attendance." Hiashi asks.
"Simply put, team 11 took a mission to wave, after the threats to the client were eliminated the senju twins asked permission to venture to the nearby whirlpool, the home of their distant grandmother Mito Uzumaki."
"Upon reaching the former village they found a detachment of kumo shinobi looting the remains of the village." Hiruzen states.
"I see, so they were found in Fire County looting one of the leaf's founding clans home" Shikaku states.
"What happened to the detachment of Kumo shinobi?" Inochi asks.
"All but two were killed and they were released back to Kumo to send a message; while the bodies are in this storage scroll." Hiruzen answers.
"So you're telling us two fresh genin slaughtered nearly 100 Kumo shinobi." Tsunami states dumbfounded.
"Yes, one of the two survivors was the infamous Killer B as well." Hiruzen states.
Danzo speaks "Hiruzen, it's time you told us exactly who these twins are, why they appeared 9 months ago and how they are so powerful at a young age."
"You all very well know who they are, nearly 13 years ago as just infants they sat in front of this very council while portions called for their death." Hiruzen states.
Shikaku mumbles "Troublesome blonds, was it their strength or the kyuubi's that allowed them to win?"
"My understanding is they used both' Hiruzen answers.
"troublesome blonds" he responds.
"So when people thought they felt the Kyuubi's chakra they were not mistaken then" Choza says.
"They make fine weapons if they can control so much of the kyuubi's power" Danzo says.
"We are not weapons, we are shinobi" Two voices say.
When the council looks to the wall where the voices came from they see the two blonds just sitting on the wall as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
"Skilled indeed to hide from every person in this room" Danzo comments.
"We were not trying to hide." Naruto says.
"Regardless, we need to come to a decision on what to do with Kumo." Hiruzen states.
Danzo speaks, "Well it's simple, this is an act of war, they invaded our land and attempted to loot our lands" he uses Shisui's eye to affect the council when his world shifts to black and red.
"Don't attempt to use that eye, it's a dangerous game to try and hypnotize a council of shinobi" Naruko's voice echoes.
"I have no idea what you are talking about." Danzo states.
"Don't try to bulshit us, we know of Hashirama's cells on your arm and the 13 sharingans there as well as that mangekyo." Naruto's voice echoes.
"I see what you will do about it?" Danzo asks.
"Right now nothing, just be worned next time we will expose you." Naruko says and the illusion fades.
"No, we can't afford a war at the moment, our spies have seen Orochimaru, in talks with the Kasakage, it is very possible if we declare war on Kumo they will on us, and in turn so will Iwa." Hiruzen speaks.
Shikaku says "So, our best option is to ask for monetary compensation, and return the bodies if they do so; while we watch out for suna and Orochimaru."
The Dymino says "I agree, asking for monetary compensation seems to be the best approach while we deal with suna."
"All in favor?" Hiruzen asks.
Everyone raises their hands, even Danzo.
"Now, what shall we do with the twins, we can't leave them as genin for all they have done?" Hiashi says.
"As of right now, it may be best to leave them as genin, with the chunin exams here in just a few weeks, which they will surely win, it will make our upcoming gennin look very strong which may dissuade suna from taking any action." Danzo says.
"I agree, the roster for the chunin exams came in and there is one very interesting group from suna, it has all three of the Kazekage's children in it, including their supposed secret weapon and jinchuuriki Gaara; These" Shikaku says.
"Oh, one more jinchuuriki's ass to beat, sounds like fun right sis" Naruto says.
"You bet" Naruko happily retorts.
"What kind of monsters are you?" One of the civilians asks
"Foxes of course" Naruko retorts.
"Troublesome blonds" Shikaku says.
