Ron awoke next to a river. The blade of his sword broken, separated from the empty sword handle .
He felt his head hurt. He got up and as he did, a letter fell from under his shirt.
He sat back down on the grassy patch and read it.
Dear Stoppable-san,
I cannot express how truly happy I am that you failed the test.
I have the highest respect for the art of Ninja but not all people are ment to be Ninja. Some are ment to be innocent with good, soft hearts.
I hope you find the way back to your American sillyness.
I wanted to say goodbye but I was afraid that you would have asked me to come with you. I was even more afraid with what I would have replied.
Sorry about your head, drink water from the river, you'll feel better.
I doubt we'll see each other again but I'll always remember you.
Love,
Yori
Ron would have asked her to come. In the past year, he's forgotten how he felt about Kim. He missed her a little less everyday to be honest.
Yuri however...was always there. She kept him in line. When he got too cold, she would do something to remind him.
She once tripped just so he'd catch her. Actually, it was numerous times when no one was around. It was her way of keeping his...Ron-ness alive.
She even had ninjas fly to America to Bueno Nacho for food a few times. She explained it was for a covert mission she can't talk about and not for the food but he knew.
He felt a bit sad. Alone. But only for a moment. Then he got up, drank from the river, took his empty Katana sword handle and started to walk.
