Chapter 9 The Saiyans Challenges

Somewhere in the desert of California, Rebecca Hawkins is riding her horse when she saw a helicopter and it land it where Professor Hawkins is, she rush to save her grandpa. In the outside the lab the biker gang kidnapped the professor and force him to go inside the helicopter and fly high.

As Rebecca arrive it's too late and the lab is destroyed and leave the card behind making her real scared.

Elsewhere Duke is driving with his friends and the Saiyans, Pharaoh told them that they need to see professor Hawkins and explain everything. As they arrive Pharaoh switch bodies to Yugi just in case he needs help, then Rebecca show and told them that her grandpa is kidnapped.

"Rebecca, are you serious?!" said Tristan

"Yes I saw them taking grandpa inside the helicopter." said Rebecca as she hug Yugi crying and scared

"Don't worry, were find him." said Trunks as Rebecca saw four people

"Who are they?" confused Rebecca as she wiped her tears off

"Allow me to introduce my friends." said Yugi as he told her who they are and she is shocked

"I never met a real alien before." said Rebecca

"Well now you know, Goku and I will go find your grandpa." said Vegeta

"But how?" confused Rebecca

"We aliens can sense the energy from a human." said Goku

Everyone nod and went inside to discuss the plan while Goku and Vegeta are flying to search for Professor Hawkins, Inside the trailer Trunks and Selene start to play duel monsters with Yugi and Joey, just for practice on the table and not their duel disk.

"So, we start five cards and then draw a card?" said Selene

"Yeah, if you have a level 4 or lower monster you can normal summon one, sometimes they have effect to special summon." said Yugi

"What if I can normal summon level 5 or higher?" said Trunks

"We have that a long ago, but it change. If you have a lower monster on the field, you can tributed summon. Level 5 and 6 can tributed one monster, but level 7 or higher monster requires 2 monsters." said Joey

"And what's with the color pink and blue?" confused Trunks

"Blue is a magic cards and pink is a trap cards. trap card can only set it and a quick-play magic card and also set it as a trap." said Yugi

"Ok, unlike my sister Angie, she's always a quickest learner." said Trunks as he look down a bit

"Don't worry, will find her no matter what." said Joey

Trunks and Selene nod as they continue practice while Duke is cooking dinner for everyone, Tea is also helping out with the plates and cups, she still keeping a secret from everyone til Selene and Trunks finish practice and went outside to use the capsule for a BBQ.

"I didn't know they were capsule from your world." said Duke as he look outside watching Selene cook

"My mom create it, and sometime we used for emergency." said Trunks

"I hope they found grandpa." said Rebecca

"Don't worry, they will." said Tristian

Yugi notice Rebecca is wearing the green stone just like the biker gang, he ask her where did she gets it, she told him that one of his colleagues found it in the ruins and hold on to it. Tea is watching them slowly her heart is broken piece by piece, the spirit saw Tea getting more sad than before, he decided to wait a little bit longer for now.

(Fifth Night)

Outside the night falls and inside the hut Professor Hawkins slowly awake from being capture and Raphael is also here.

"About time you awake." said Raphael

"What do you want?" weak Professor Hawkins

"Don't worry, just to lean the Pharaoh into a trap." said Raphael

Then the noise from outside is getting confused just as one of the biker gang open, the wood door breaks into pieces. Goku and Vegeta walk inside and found the Professor tie up and weak. Raphael recognize them and got scared and order his men to attack them, but the Saiyans are too strong to stop them.

"Look do we have here." smirk Vegeta as Raphael used his stone to blind them to escape

"Who are you people?" confused as Goku untied Professor Hawkins and carry him

"Long story, I'll tell you on the way." said Goku as he and Vegeta fly back to the group

Back at the group Rebecca gave Yugi a card with a note in it, It's from Raphael.

"I'll meet you at Death Valley for our duel, Raphael."

"How far is Death Valley?" said Yugi

"We can used Duke's car and drive there." said Rebecca

"No, I have to fight him alone." said Yugi

"But why?" said Rebecca

"It's me they want, plus I need the stone that your wearing." said Yugi

Rebecca don't like the idea, but she has no choice but to give it to Yugi. Inside the trailer Tea is about to get some sleep til Shadow Slifer communicate with her.

"Tea, Angie is at Death Valley waiting for Yugi and Pharaoh." said Shadow Slifer

"Thanks for telling me, I hate keeping a secret from everyone." sad Tea

"Don't worry, she'll make them suffer. Do you love Pharaoh?" said Shadow Slifer

"He's my friend." said Tea

"No Tea, Do you love Pharaoh?" said Shadow Slifer

Tea knew Shadow Slifer and it's too late to hide her true feelings

"Y-Yes, I do loved him. But I don't want him to leave to fulfill his destiny." sad Tea

"I understand how you feel. But he might becoming a Time Patroller like Trunks and Selene." said Shadow Slifer

"What makes you said that?" confused Tea

"Trust me, Angie is also a Time Patroller." said Shadow Slifer

Tea is shocked not only Angie's a Shadow Signer but also a Time Patroller, she nod and went to sleep not knowing that Yugi is here watching her feeling down more than before.

"I'm sorry Tea, but I have to leave you alone with Pharaoh after the duel." Thought Yugi

Yugi wait for everyone to sleep and he ask Trunks to take him by flying, he agree to help him. As he's about to leave Rebecca wakes up and find Yugi barley touching the door knob.

"Yugi." Whisper Rebecca

"Don't worry Rebecca, I'll be back." said Yugi as he open the door outside and Trunks is waiting for him

"Ready Yugi?" said Trunks

"Ready." said Yugi as he used the puzzle to switch Pharaoh and then Trunks carry him and fly faster

As the two left already, Joey slowly wake up and find Yugi is not here, he ask Rebecca where Yugi is and she told him that Yugi is gonna duel Raphael alone with Trunks, Joey is shocked and he wake up the others and ran outside til they saw Goku and Vegeta fly down with Professor Hawkins, everyone is relieved that he's safe.

"Rebecca, where's Yugi?" said Professor Hawkins as Rebecca told him where he's going, but she also told him that Trunks is with him

"I see, as long as he's with Yugi were good." said Professor

Back to Trunks and Pharaoh, they are almost at Death Valley not knowing that Raphael is here so is Angie who's hiding behind the big rocks.

"Trunks, I see you and Selene becoming a duelist as well. Soon I'll get my revenges." Thought Angie

Angie then sense Trunks energy as he and Pharaoh arrive in front of Raphael and he's so eager to duel him.

"Nice flying kid." said Raphael as Trunks put Pharaoh down looking at him

"Pharaoh, are you sure about this?" said Trunks

"Yes, That way our friends won't get hurt." said Pharaoh

"Tell it to your other two friends of your rescue the Professor." said Raphael

"He's safe then." said Trunks

"Yes, Now I can duel you Pharaoh." said Raphael

All of the sudden they hear a noise from close by and a figure is riding a flying skateboard with the color of black/gold on it. They never seen it before til Pharaoh recognize the girl who has the same mark from before, then she stop riding in front of them.

"That's the girl from before." said Pharaoh as Trunks is shocked

"I don't know who you are, but you better tell me where's my sister Angie?" said Trunks

"Don't tell me you don't recognize your own sister." smirk figure til she remove her helmet and Trunks is more shocked

"Angie, your alive!?" shocked Trunks as Pharaoh looks at him and his sister

"So that's Angie." said Yugi in his spirit form

"Well about time one of you shadow signers show up." said Raphael

"Well I could say the same thing about you, Raphael. But I came to tell you about us Shadow Signers." smirk Angie

"What?" said Trunks

"That's right Trunks, I'm not the same Angie that you know." smirk Angie

"What do you mean by that?" said Trunks

"Let's just say that, I was killed by Zamasu." said Angie

"WHAT!?" shocked Trunks

"That's right, After Zamasu kill me Black Ra offer me a deal to get my revenge against him, so he resurrected me from the dead." said Angie

"So that means?" nervous Raphael

"That's right. Nick Johnson who's also chosen by Dark Obelisk, and a girl was chosen by Shadow Slifer." said Angie

"Who is she?" confused Pharaoh

"A girl named Tea Gardner." smirk Angie

"WHAT!?" shocked Pharaoh as Yugi is also shock as well

"That's not true." said Yugi

"It is now Yugi Moto." said Angie

"WHAT?" shocked Yugi

"That's right, I can see you in your spirit form, thanks the mark that us shadow signers have." said Angie

"But why Tea?" said Yugi

"Because you making her extremely jealous when you with Rebecca Hawkins and now Tea's heart is broken already." smirk Angie as Yugi and Pharaoh are stunned for what she said

"But why she didn't tell me?" nervous Pharaoh

"It's simple, she doesn't want you or your friends to find out. Plus she has feeling for you Pharaoh, but she knows that you didn't share hers." smirk Angie as Pharaoh shocked

"Angie please, return to normal as you were before." said Trunks

"I'm afraid it's too late already, soon the shadow queen will return within the seventh night." said Angie as the three of them are shock

"And I know Dartz is watching us, tell him that we are gonna draining the evil energy from the great beast." said Angie as Dartz is shock from his hideout til Black Ra communicate with Angie

"Angie, The sun is rising." said Black Ra

"Thank you Black Ra." said Angie as she look at the three.

"I would loved to duel all three of you, but I got things to do." said Angie

"Angie wait!" yelled Trunks

"Don't worry, we will meet again at Domino City." smirk Angie as she used her mark to blind them and escape into the shadow before the sun rise

Now they know who are the shadow signers were, Yugi felt regret for making Tea jealous and becoming a shadow signer, Pharaoh is also shocked that she has feeling for him. But he'll talk to Tea after the duel against Raphael.

(Noted: I decided that Vegeta calls him Goku instead Kakarot so the name won't be confused, Also Trunks and Selene are gonna have their first duel when they arrive to Domino City til the next chapter.)
