The Avengers
Back in Wakanda, Maria Hill got a coded signal.
"What is it?" Sharon said.
"I got a coded signal, but it's impossible... the only ones who knew about are me, Coulson, and..." Maria Hill said.
"What?" Sharon said.
"We have to go now." Maria Hill said.
Maria Hill and Sharon Carter walked into the throne.
"King T'Challa!" Maria Hill said.
The Dora Milaje stopped them in their tracks.
"Stop right there!"
"Stand down! What is it Agent Hill?" T'Challa said.
"We need transportation to New York immediately, there might still be hope." Maria Hill said.
The quinjet is an hour away till it reached New York. Captain Marvel left the quinjet on autopilot as she walked into a briefing.
"Alright listen up, the Skrulls have taken control of New York City, there are lot of civilians caught in the middle. Our priority is to keep the fight on us. Make sure to save any lives as possible. Danvers and Stark will take to the skies and clear out any fighters. Thor and Hulk will take out the tanks. Me and Peter will be on the ground fighting off the soldiers." Captain America said.
"Our biggest priority is Queen Veranke, she has taken Stark Tower as her new base of operations. The tower itself is surrounded by turrets and soldiers, its well guarded. Once you're inside, there shouldn't be any problems." Captain Marvel said.
"So we capture her, without her they'll be in disarray." Spider-Man said.
"Easier said than done, she'll never give up easily. If we fail to capture her, she'll rain down hell on all of New York and a lot of people will get killed." Captain Marvel said.
"That is why we cannot fail, everything depends on this. The fate of Earth now rest on our hands. I want each of you to know that it's been a great honor serving beside you." Captain America smiled.
"We all fell the same way." Iron Man said.
"Alright let's get ready for the fight of our lives." Captain America said.
Captain Marvel went back to the cockpit to pilot, Captain America wants to have a word with Spider-Man.
"How are you hold up?" Captain America said.
"I'll be fine, Cap." Spider-Man said.
"I know, but I'll need you to be ready for a war." Captain America said.
"I know." Spider-Man said.
"Do you? I've seen the way you fight, always without causalities, for your enemies as well. I respect your moral compass, but you'll need to compromise and do what needs to be done otherwise we won't be able to save this world and a lot of people will die." Captain America said.
"How do you do it? Be willing to do what's necessary?" Spider-Man said.
"I know that fighting a war isn't pretty, even I had to make compromises for my country... Someone once told me that compromise where you can, where you can't, don't. Even if someone tells you something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world tells you to move, it's your duty to plant yourself like a tree and look them in the eye and say, no... you move." Captain America said.
"That's... that's quite an interesting speech." Spider-Man said.
"You're one of the greatest heroes I've ever met, you've given everyone hope. Now the rest of the world will be looking to you to make the hard choice." Captain America said.
"I won't let everyone down, I promise." Spider-Man said.
"I know you won't." Captain America said.
Spider-Man isn't the kind of person who capable of taking a life, but he is entering a war and many people will die before it ends. He can only hope that it never comes to it.
At New York City, the citizens gather unwillingly as the Skrulls had their weapons armed. Queen Veranke came out of Stark Tower and shows herself to the crowd.
"People of Earth! You have chosen to serve your new master and you shall be spare as a reward. But remember as long as you live by our rules, no one shall be punished and you can go on with your lives. Primitive beings like yourself are made to serve us." Veranke said.
An elderly man stepped foward.
"Not to tyrants like you."
"There are none like me!" Veranke said.
"There will always be tyrants like you."
"Brave, but foolish. Look to your elder and let him be an example. Take him and execute him!" Veranke orders.
The Skrulls took the elder man as everyone tries to stop them but the Skrull managed to push back. The elder man is front of a firing squad.
"Would you like to be blindfolded or do you prefer to witness your death?" Kl'rt said.
The elder man said nothing.
"Then I'll take that as a no!" Kl'rt said.
"You can kill me but you'll never silence me! If I can stand up to you, everyone can!"
"Would anyone like to join him?" Veranke sees the crowd angry and some are scared. "Very well. General, execute him!"
"Ready arms!" Kl'rt said.
Everyone is shaking as the Skrulls are about to execute an innocent man.
"Ready!... Aim!... Fire!" Kl'rt yelled.
Captain America dropped in and protected the man with his shield, the blaster fire deflected right back at the Skrulls.
"You!" Veranke said.
"In the flesh. We will not stand by and watch as you enslave the planet, today is the day we fight for freedom! For justice!" Captain America said.
"You're foolish to think you can face us alone!" Veranke said.
"I'm not alone." Captain America smiled.
The Skrull ship got blasted in the sky as people watch Captain Marvel and Iron Man flying. The Skrulls tries to fight back until their weapons got webbed and yanked by Spider-Man.
"My queen, retreat to the tower, we'll handle this." Kl'rt said.
"Kill them, no matter who has to die, just kill these nuisances!" Veranke said.
The queen retreated to the tower as the Skrull fighters and tanks coming with reinforcements.
"Everyone get to safety, go to the tunnels or basements!" Spider-Man said.
The civilians began to clear out of the streets as New York is about to become a war zone. The fighters come in and started firing at the streets, some people are getting killed.
"Iron Man, Captain Marvel, take care of those fighters!" Captain America said.
"We're on it!" Iron Man said.
Iron Man and Captain Marvel fly up as the they started shooting down fighters.
Some tanks came in and started firing.
"Thor, Hulk, smash those a tanks!" Captain America said.
"Aye! Let's go Banner!" Thor said.
"It's Hulk. Hulk doesn't go! Hulk smash!" Hulk said.
Hulk jumped up as he slams down at the tank with so much force. Thor charges his hammer and summons down lightning as it destroyed several tanks.
"Spider-Man, you and I are going to keep our feet on the ground." Captain America said.
"Got it." Spider-Man said.
They see Skrull troops coming in.
"Here they come!" Spider-Man said.
"Let's kick their ass." Captain America said.
Captain America and Spider-Man charges in and fights off the Skrulls on the ground. They've proven to be better combatants than the Skrulls are.
Iron Man sees a squadron of fighters coming in. He began to mark each of them. He fires of his seeker missiles, he blown each of them up.
Captain Marvel managed to take out two squadrons of fighters with ease by fly through and blasting them.
"That's twelve, how many did you get?" Captain Marvel said.
"Wait? We're counting now?" Iron Man said.
On the ground General Kl'rt leads the army against the heroes.
"General! That thing is tearing up our tanks."
Kl'rt watches as the Hulk picks up a tank and tossed it towards another tank, destroying them both.
"Press on! I'll deal with this one." Kl'rt said.
Kl'rt joined the battle as he enlarged himself and charges in a punched the Hulk hard.
Hulk got hit and gets up, he got angry as he see Kl'rt challenging him.
"You've bested me before, that won't happen again." Kl'rt said.
"Bring it ugly!" Hulk said.
Hulk and Kl'rt face off as they fight.
The police and SWAT came in to help the civilians to safety. Captain Stacy is leading as he held up his speaker.
"Everyone get to safety. Officers, push back the threat!" George Stacy said.
Some police set up squad car to cover, some came in carrying riot shields as to provide cover. SWAT officers fires back at the Skrulls.
Spider-Man came in and see Captain Stacy.
"Glad you're here, Captain Stacy." Spider-Man said.
"Spidey, should've know you would be involved." George Stacy said.
"I just happened to be in the neighborhood. Can your men get the civilians off the streets?" Spider-Man said.
"Already on it, hope that you know what you're doing." George Stacy said.
"You and me both pal." Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man went back to helping Captain America.
Queen Veranke sees that the people of the Earth are now showing resistance, they're fighting back.
"I've gave these earthlings a chance. Get the admiral and tell him to bombard the city." Veranke said.
"My queen?"
"Do it!" Veranke yelled.
The Skrull flagship charges up its cannon and fires its first shot down towards New York.
The heroes see a shot fired from space as it destroyed a building.
"What was that?!" Spider-Man said.
"It's the flagship, it's firing down at the city." Captain America taps his earpiece. "Iron Man! Captain Marvel! We need you to take out the flagship as quickly as possible!"
Iron Man and Captain Marvel are in the air.
"Got it! Let's go Iron Man!" Captain Marvel said.
"Right behind you!" Iron Man said.
Iron Man and Captain Marvel flies towards space.
"Thor, can you summon thunderclouds?" Captain America said.
"Aye!" Thor said.
"We need that, keep them blind!" Captain America said.
Thor holds Mjolnir up towards the sky as thunderclouds form around New York. Rain water started to drop down on New York.
"That should buy us some time, let's hope that Captain Marvel and Iron Man will find a way to take out the flagship!" Spider-Man said.
Captain Marvel and Iron Man reached space as they see the flagship and rest of the fleet.
"That is one huge motherfu-" Iron Man said.
"Stark!" Captain Marvel said.
"Sorry... any ideas how to blow it up?" Iron Man said.
"There's a core near the superlaser." Captain Marvel said.
"So we just shoot a laser and it blows up. Sounds simple." Iron Man said.
"It isn't. The reactor can absorb energy like rechargeable battery." Captain Marvel said.
"Crap!... Wait! What if we can overload it? Even a battery has limits to how much power it can take." Iron Man said.
"That could work, we'll need a lot of power." Captain Marvel said.
They see a huge number of fighters heading towards them.
"First things first." Iron Man said.
"Yeah." Captain Marvel said.
Iron Man and Captain Marvel fights against a large wave of fighters in space.
Back on Earth, Captain America and Spider-Man kept fight the Skrull on the grounds as the enemy keeps sending in more reinforcements.
"We've sure stirred up a hornet's nest!" Spider-Man said.
One of the Skrulls managed to fire at Spider-Man, injuring him.
"Ahh!" Spider-Man scream in pain.
Captain America throws his shield at the Skrulls that fired on Spider-Man. He went up to check on Spider-Man.
"You alright son?!" Captain America Saudi
"Yeah, this is nothing, just a flesh wound. I'll walk it of." Spider-Man said.
They see an army of Skrulls between them and Stark Tower.
"The only way to the queen is through, but there's so many." Spider-Man said.
"Agreed. What other choice do we have?" Captain America said.
"Let's try to get through or die try, you with me?" Spider-Man said.
"Yeah, let's go on three... One!" Captain America said.
"Two!" Spider-Man said.
A rocket launched at the Skrulls army, clearing a way. They turned around and see someone they never thought they see again.
"You have your opening, take it!" Nick Fury said.
"Nick Fury, you son of a bitch!" Captain America smiled.
"Oh! You kiss your mother with that mouth!" Nick Fury said.
"How? We thought that you were dead?" Spider-Man said.
"Yes well rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. The ones who died on the helicarrier were life model decoys. They just destroyed a helicarrier with zero life forms." Nick Fury said.
They see Sharon Carter, Maria Hill, Phil Coulson, Natasha Romanoff, and Clint Barton joining the fight along with an army of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents.
"Hope you don't mind, I've brought the calvary." Nick Fury said.
Spider-Man and Captain America are glad that they've got help.
"Better get going! The entire planet isn't going to wait for you two!" Nick Fury said.
"Right! Let's go son!" Captain America said.
Captain America and Spider-Man proceeded towards the tower.
Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. remained behind to fend off the Skrulls. Black Widow fires off her pistols as Hawkeye fires his arrow.
"Just like Budapest!" Black Widow said.
"You and I remember Budapest very differently!" Hawkeye said.
Thor see the drop ships coming in with reinforcements, he spins Mjolnir as to charge it up.
Hulk managed to gain the upper hand on General Kl'rt as Kl'rt maybe strong but not super durable as the Hulk. He tries to punch back only for the Hulk to catch his fist and twist it, Kl'rt screamed. Hulk kicked Kl'rt's knee, breaking it and caused him to scream again.
"Ho- How?" Kl'rt said.
"I am the Incredible Hulk, puny green man!" Hulk said.
Thor charged his hammer and sends lightning at the ships. Two of the ships blew up as as the other one is damaged and falling down towards Hulk and Kl'rt.
"Goodbye ugly!" Hulk said.
Hulk leaped away in time, Kl'rt couldn't move as he see the ship falling on top of him.
"Ahhhh!!!!" Kl'rt yelled his last words.
The ship smashed on top of Kl'rt, killing him.
In space Captain Marvel and Iron Man manage to take out the fighters.
"That was 38 fighters I've taken down!" Iron Man said.
"38, not bad. I got 54!" Captain Marvel said.
"What? No way!" Iron Man said.
"I may have been a rookie ace but I was top of my class in my graduating year." Captain Marvel said.
"Right, so how much power do we need to blow up that reactor?" Iron Man said.
"Lots and lots of power! We're going to need Thor!" Captain Marvel said.
"Yep!" Iron Man said.
Thor is back in New York as he see a squad of Skrulls firing at him. He jumps up with his hammer charges and slams down with a lightning strike, taking out the squad.
"Thor! We need you with us immediately!" Captain Marvel said.
"I'm on my way!" Thor said.
Thor spins his hammer and flies up towards space to aid Captain Marvel and Iron Man.
Meanwhile Captain America and Spider-Man managed to reach Stark Tower.
"If I had to guess, she's at the top." Spider-Man said.
"My thoughts exactly." Captain America said.
Spider-Man swings up the tower. "See you at the top!"
Captain America isn't amused by Spider-Man's words. He went inside and pressed the elevator button. He enters it and pressed the button to the top floor. He waits as the elevator goes up and plays music.
Captain America took a deep breath. "Tough day."
The elevator reached the top floor, it opens and see Spider-Man already taken care of the Skrulls guards.
"What took you so long Cap?" Spider-Man said.
"Not everyone can cling or swing to building to building." Captain America said.
"Touché! Shall we?" Spider-Man said.
"After you!" Captain America smiled.
The opened the door to the living quarters that now serves as the queen's throne room. They see Queen Veranke waiting for them.
"Captain America and Spider-Man, welcome. I've been waiting for you. I want you to witness your city die as a result of your failure." Veranke said.
"We're not going to let that happen!" Captain America said.
"How? I'm much stronger than you are Steve Rogers." Veranke turns to Spider-Man. "And you, you're no killer. The only way you're going to stop me, is if you can kill me."
"We're here to capture you, either way we're not leaving here without you!" Captain America said.
She pick up her spear as she is ready for a fight.
"Then neither one of you will leave here at all! We shall face each other in combat, the victor shall decide the fate of this world." Veranke said.
Captain America and Spider-Man fights Queen Veranke in combat. Her spear produces a plasma blade that is capable of cutting anything, Cap's shield is the only thing that can resist against it.
In space, Thor reached Captain Marvel and Iron Man.
"I'm here, now what?" Thor said.
"Now we're going to blow up that ship, that reactor is the target. It's going to take all of us working together." Captain Marvel said.
"I'm with you!" Iron Man said.
"Aye!" Thor said.
Thor, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man flies towards the flagship as it rains down fire against them.
"Keep going! No matter what, we have to get there!" Captain Marvel said.
They kept on going as they avoided the laser fire.
Back on Earth, Captain America and Spider-Man tries their best against Queen Veranke. She managed to best them both in combat. Spider-Man and Captain America are two of the world's best combatants and yet they're getting beaten by an alien queen.
"She's good!" Spider-Man said.
"I've trained my entire life for this, turn my body into a weapon of vengeance" Veranke said.
"What happened to your people isn't on Earth!" Captain America said.
"If I learned anything from war, is that you can never show mercy to your enemies. Mercy is a weakness that the Kree never learned, as long as there are those who remember what once was, they'll come back for revenge. After I'm done with you heroes, I will kill every being on this planet so that no one will be left to resist." Veranke said.
"You're a monster! We will stop you!" Spider-Man said.
"Give it you best shot!" Veranke smiled.
Spider-Man and Captain America fights again, never giving up.
In space, Thor, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man managed to reach underneath the flagship.
"Now what?" Iron Man said.
"Now we focus all our power at the reactor, give it everything we've got!" Captain Marvel said.
Captain Marvel fires off her cosmic blast, Thor fires off lightning from Mjolnir, Iron Man fires his repulsors. They all hit the reactor.
"Come on! More power!" Captain Marvel said.
They continue to fire off their energy at the reactor.
Back at Stark Tower, Queen Veranke kicked Spider-Man back hard. She sees Captain America sending his shield down as she uses her staff to block. The shield managed to slice the staff in half. Captain America managed to get the best of her using his shield. He pushed her back but she managed to get her footing.
"Don't you know when to give up?" Veranke said angry.
"Yeah! Never!" Captain America said.
Captain America throws his shield at her hard, but she dodge it, it got stuck on the walk. He uses his skills in boxing to block and punch, she managed to punched him hard as he fell back.
She got closer to a downed Captain America until she got choked by webs around her neck. She turns around and sees Spider-Man. She pulled the webs and him, she the executes a strong punch. Spider-Man tries to get up and webs her, but she caught his wrists and crushed his webshooters hard. She then does a headbutt against him hard, he got knocked out temporarily.
She picked up a sharp piece of her broken staff and is about to thrust it at Spider-Man until she sees Captain America charging in. He pushed her back and punches her hard. He give it every he has to beat her. She caught his fist, she punched him back hard as he fell down to the floor. She got on top of him and pulled out her plasma knife.
"Time to die Captain America!" Veranke said.
She thrust her knife down until Captain America stopped her in her tracks. He held back as much as he could with all his strength. She then uses her own strength to push hard.
Spider-Man wakes up and sees that Veranke as about to kill Captain America.
"Cap!" Spider-Man said.
"Watch your friend die!" Veranke said.
Spider-Man tries to web her up but he forgot that she crushed his web shooters. He had to do something fast before she kills Cap. He see his shield still stuck on the wall.
Captain America pushed back as much as he could but the blade managed to pierce his costume and reached his skin, she screamed in pain as her blade is about to reach his heart.
Spider-Man got up and grabbed the shield, he aims at her.
"Come on Spidey, make it count!" Spider-Man said in his thoughts.
Spider-Man tossed the shield as hard as he could, it managed to hit Veranke but the force of the blow knocked her off the window.
Veranke now looks up as she is falling down, the rest of the Skrulls watched as their queen is falling down from the tower. She fell down and crashed down onto a cab. She died from the impact.
Spider-Man watched as he saved Captain America but he unintentionally took a life. He ran up to Captain America who is injured and had plasma burn on his chest, he came close to being pierced through the heart.
"Cap! Are you alright?" Spider-Man said.
"I'm alright, you saved my life." Captain America said.
Spider-Man offered his hand and pulled Captain America up. They walked up towards the window and looked down. They can see Veranke laying dead on a taxi cab. Spider-Man removed his mask and watched as someone is now dead because of him.
In space, Thor, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel continue to overloa the reactor.
"Sir, the reactor is getting critical, a couple more charges should do it!" JARVIS said.
"Divert all power from the arc reactor to the unibeam!" Iron Man said.
"Sir, your arc reactor will be depleted of all power. Your life support will shut down and you'll be at risk, advise not to go through it!" JARVIS said.
"Divert power now!" Iron Man said.
"At once sir!" JARVIS said.
JARVIS followed Tony's advice and divert all power to the unibeam. He gave the reactor a bit more juice. The reactor is turning red as too much power is being put in.
The Skrulls inside the flagship sees that their systems is overloading. The ship inside is starting to blow up.
The heroes outside sees that the flagship is blowing up.
"Look! it's working!" Captain Marvel said.
"Time to pull back, we don't want to be here when it blow." Iron Man said.
Thor, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man flies off as it blows up inside.
Iron Man is slowing down. Thor and Captain Marvel sees him falling behind.
"Tony!" Captain Marvel said.
Captain Marvel flies back and pulls Iron Man to safety.
"Need... power..." Iron Man said.
"Thor! You know what to do!" Captain Marvel said.
Thor hold up Mjolnir.
"Please forefathers! Give me some power to save a friend." Thor said.
Thor place his hand on the arc reactor as lightning came towards Mjolnir, he channels the power through him to Tony's arc reactor. Tony felt a shock to his chest, his arc reactor has be recharged.
"Ahh! Ah! Let's not do that again, like ever!" Iron Man said.
"Glad you're back, look!" Captain Marvel said.
They watch as the Skrull flagship is now blown up, the rest of the Skrull fleet watched as the flagship is now destroyed.
"Yippee ki yay motherfucker!" Iron Man said.
Thor and Captain Marvel looked at Iron Man.
"Sorry... couldn't help it. Favorite catchphrase." Iron Man said.
At another Skrull ship, the Captain watched as the flagship is gone .
"Captain! We've received word from Earth! Our queen is dead!"
The rest of the Skrulls heard the bad news about the queen.
"And General Kl'rt?"
"He's dead too. What are your orders sir?"
The Skrull Captain watched as the three heroes in space stands triumphant. Without the Queen or the flagship, they're fighting a losing war.
"What are you orders sir?!"
"Retreat, signal the rest of the fleet! We've lost our queen and the command ship. Our only option is to retreat! Give the order!"
"Yes sir!"
Captain Marvel, Iron Man, and Thor watched as the Skrull fleet turns their ships around. They see the fleet jumped out of Earth's orbit.
"They're in retreat!" Captain Marvel said.
"We've did it!" Iron Man said.
Back on Earth, the remaining Skrulls watched as the debris of the flagship falling in the sky towards the ocean. Without the queen and the fleet, they've lost the war. They see Nick Fury and his forces have them surrounded.
"Give up! There's no reason to continue fighting. The war is over, surrender!" Nick Fury said.
They see the Hulk coming in, he roared at them loud. They got scared as they complied and dropped their weapons. The remaining Skrulls surrendered themselves.
At the tower, Spider-Man and Captain America watched the skies as the clouds are clearing up and they see the debris from the flagship.
"That's quite a view, someone should take a picture." Captain America said.
"I'm out of cameras." Spider-Man smiled.
"Thank you... and I'm sorry." Captain America said.
"For what?" Spider-Man said.
"For what you had to do. I know that you're against taking a life and I've put you in that position where you made that choice." Captain America said.
"Cap... she was about to kill you... I made a choice... I choose to save you." Spider-Man said.
"I am now forever in your debt." Captain America said.
They now see Hulk just landed on top of Stark Tower after a big jump.
"Hulk! How did you get here?" Spider-Man said.
"I've jumped, Hulk so happy to see you both!" Hulk smiled.
Hulk hugged both Spider-Man and Captain America.
"Hulk... you're crushing us!" Spider-Man said.
"Yeah... I'm... still hurt!" Captain America said.
Hulk let's go. "Oh!... sorry!"
They see Iron Man, Captain Marvel, and Thor retuning back.
"You guys made it!" Spider-Man smiled.
"Did you guys see the fireworks we've made!" Captain Marvel said.
"Those big fireballs falling down? That was you?" Spider-Man said.
Captain Marvel giggles as she and Spider-Man hugged each other.
"Glad that you three made it back." Captain America said.
"Same with you old timer!" Iron Man said.
"Hey... respect your elders!" Captain America smiled.
Iron Man and Captain America shake hands.
"You did well." Captain America smiled.
"Right back at ya!" Iron Man said.
"You did it Hulk." Thor punched him in the chest.
Hulk punched him back hard as a form of gratitude.
"Oops... sorry!" Hulk said.
"No worries my friend." Thor said.
The heroes looked from the tower as the war against the Skrulls is finally over.
"This has turned out to be a great day, everyone got there freedom back. Life goes back to normal." Captain America said.
"I'd wouldn't be so sure, we've changed things forever." Spider-Man said.
Later the heroes got down from the tower.
"So what now?" Captain America said.
"Lunch anyone?" Iron Man said.
"I could eat!" Hulk said.
"Aye!" Thor said.
"Anyone know a good place?" Iron Man said.
"I know a diner that makes the best burgers and shakes." Spider-Man said.
"Oh I can confirm that! They're heaven!" Captain Marvel said.
They then see a crowd approaching.
"What now? You think that they're upset by the wreckage we've left the city. We risked our lives to give back their freedom. They could at least be happy that.." Iron Man got cut off.
The crowd is actually happy and applauding the heroes.
"They're actually happy! I knew it!" Iron Man said.
"No you didn't!" Captain Marvel said.
"No i didn't." Iron Man said.
The crowd came in happy shaking hands and hugging the heroes. Some of them thanked them for the brave and daring act they did. They've done the impossible, they've managed to save the whole world.
"What do you call yourselves?"
Captain America sees that the team awaits his answer, he thought of one he heard from another hero.
"We're the Avengers!" Captain America said.
Spider-Man see Captain America smiled back at him.
"The Avengers? I love it!" Spider-Man said.
"Me too, it's catchy." Iron Man said.
"Here's to the Avengers!!"
The crowd cheered loudly as the Avengers was born. The Avengers started something new for the world.
Two weeks later
Life returned back to normal for the rest of the world. Some people are grateful to the Avengers for their heroic act. But there are some like General Ross and J Jonah Jameson who criticized them for bringing war to their world where a lot of lives were lost. The world has changed for better or worse, it needs the Avengers more than ever should this threat ever come back.
The heroes returned to Stark Tower as it is restore and became better than ever.
"The tower seemed better than ever, noticed that you removed the Stark logo and replaced with a letter." Steve said.
"That's because this isn't Stark Tower anymore, welcome to Avengers tower." Tony said.
"Avengers Tower?" Peter said.
"Yeah, a place that we can all reassemble should this kind of threat ever happens again." Tony said.
"You're right, nothing last forever, our mission is never over. The world will need us again one day." Steve said.
"Good, now onto the main finish!" Tony said.
Tony pulls the cover and shows them a table with the new logo for the Avengers in a form of the letter 'A'.
They each find seats, each has the emblems of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel.
"Wow." Carol said.
"Take you let seats." Tony smiled.
Each hero took their seat and smiled as they've have a place they can now call home should they ever be needed again.
"This is wonderful Stark, I can't wait to return and see you all again. I must now take my leave." Thor said.
"You're leaving already?" Bruce said.
"My father needs me back home, to Asgard." Thor said.
"Family problem?" Tony said.
"Something like that. I bid you good day my friends." Thor smiled.
"We'll miss you!" Steve said.
Thor arrived at the top of the building as the Avengers watch the bifrost come down on Thor and took him home to Asgard.
"I must take leave as well!" Carol said.
"You too!" Peter said.
"The galaxy is big place that needs a hero looking out. Besides I need to know if the Skrulls will ever be a problem." Carol said.
"After the show we gave them, we think they got the message. Hopefully they'll spread that message to other worlds that we're here to protect this one" Tony said.
"Just remember Carol, you have a family here, us!" Peter said.
"I'll remember, thank you... brother." Carol said.
"You too... sis!" Peter smiled.
Carol and Peter hugged each other. Carol then left flying off the Earth, exploring the galaxy.
"I should get going, got a redhead waiting in Malibu. I think that yours is waiting for you Peter." Tony said.
"And that's my q, see ya guys" Peter said.
"See ya, Peter." Tony said.
"Bye son." Steve said.
"I have an old girlfriend waiting at the cabin without me worrying about looking over my shoulders anymore. I'm a free man." Bruce said.
"I need to get going too, I have someone waiting back home in Brooklyn." Steve said.
"Okay... say hi to Sharon for me!" Tony said.
"I don't know what you're talking about Stark." Steve said.
"You're a terrible liar Rogers." Tony smiled.
"Till next time." Steve said as the elevator close.
Both Steve and Bruce left, Tony got to his armor and donned his armor. He flies out of Avengers Tower and head back home to Pepper.
The Avengers part ways for now, one day they'll come back when the world needs them to.
At Asgard, the citizens gathered around as they now are under the rule of the new king.
"My subjects, I am Loki, the new king of Asgard!" Loki said.
Loki laughed as the crowd hears. The palace door opens as Thor and Odin came in. Loki is shocked as he see them both again. Odin came out of his sleep and Thor returned from his exile. Neither Thor or Odin are happy with Loki taking the throne.
"Hello... brother!" Thor said.
"Oh no!" Loki said.
