Chapter 9
Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be getting more of Present Cell's backstory and what he did when he arrived in the future, along with seeing how he got much stronger than his counterpart. So, without further ado.

Everyone could only look at the newly evolved Hyper Perfect Cell in muted shock and horror, both at his original appearance as a second Super Perfect Cell and the power he now possessed. Even for those that couldn't sense energy, like Jimmy and those at Kame House, sans Roshi and Chiaotzu, they could just feel the power Cell had just by looking at him. Even when he's not actively releasing his power, it still felt hard to breathe or move.
The Z-Fighters had it worse though, as they could sense all of Cell's power, and now they weren't even sure if it'd be possible to beat him, as he is now. Even Naruto, with his immortality, wasn't sure if he'd be able to get enough Zenkai Boosts to match Cell.
Meanwhile, all across the Earth, entire cities and towns were rioting, the people panicking at what they saw, along with the resulting earthquake from Cell's new evolution. Even worse, they couldn't see or hear what was going on now, with the camera's and audio equipment having been destroyed from Cell's transformation.
The only thing they did know, was that there was now a second Cell, one that seemed even stronger than the first.
*Kame House*
At Kame House, everyone sat frozen in shock and fear as they looked at Baba's crystal ball. Chichi having been terrified, when she saw Goku get shot in the back, afraid that her husband was going to die. With that fear only growing, when Present Cell appeared and absorbed Future Cell.
All of them having felt the power he now had, even from here, they could still feel it. And it only made them more terrified of what would happen to their friends, if they had to fight this new Cell.
Though soon, Roshi stood up and went up to his room, coming back down a moment later. Now wearing the same outfit he wore, when he was disguised as Jackie Chun and hunted for the Dragon Balls, to stop Demon King Piccolo, with Tien and Chiaotzu. Roshi then grabbed a capsule, and headed for the door, with everyone looking at him in confusion.
"Where are you going, Roshi?" Ox-King asked, wondering what his old master was doing, while also comforting his scared and distraught daughter, both from what she saw through the crystal ball, and now worried about Goku and Gohan fighting Hyper Perfect Cell.
Roshi stopped and looked up, releasing a sigh, before turning to look at the others.
"They can't beat Cell, not with this new Hyper Perfect Form he has. None of them are strong enough to beat him, even if they all worked together and fought him at the same time, they'd still lose and be killed. Or in Naruto's case, Cell would absorb him too since he can't be killed, which would only make Cell even more powerful." Roshi said, giving the truth of the matter.
"Wh-what?! N-Naruto's going to be absorbed?!" Videl said, her fear and panic only worsening from Cell's new power and form, to now the idea of Naruto being absorbed by him, just like her father.
"No, no, that won't happen sweetheart." Launch said, now back in her nice form, as she and Bulma comforted the distraught girl, with the latter shooting a glare at Roshi.
"Seriously?! You saying that isn't helping the situation!" Bulma snapped, knowing it was bad enough worrying about if they could beat Cell, now hearing that they can't, and will just die or be absorbed, it made their current moods worse.
"I know, and I'm sorry, but we all could feel Cell's new power, even if some of you can't sense Ki, you still felt it. Even with his regeneration, Naruto wouldn't get the power boosts needed to be a match for Cell in time before the others are killed, and he's absorbed. And I doubt that second Cell needed to self-destruct in order to gain his own Super Perfect Form, like the one the others were fighting. Meaning, that with the second Super Perfect Cell as the main basis, Hyper Perfect Cell's regeneration is at full power, maybe even stronger than it was before. Since, while the regeneration of the Cell they were fighting was weakened from self-destructing, he still had it, and likely amplified Hyper Perfect Cell's after being absorbed. Meaning, Cell would heal from attacks or injuries, and come back even stronger, making it so he'd always be above Naruto's own power. No, we can't beat Cell by fighting him, the only way to stop Cell, is by sealing him away." Roshi said, getting horrified looks from those that knew what he meant and what he now planned to do.
"Roshi, the last time you used the Evil Containment Wave, it killed you! If you use it against Cell, and actually succeed in using it, then you'll…" Oolong said with Roshi nodding, knowing what will happen.
"I know, but it's the only way. Piccolo's likely reached the same conclusion, or he will reach it soon, when all else fails. But the technique isn't perfect, and can be countered, like with Kami's fight against Piccolo. If Cell knows about it, he'll be ready if Piccolo tries it but he won't be ready for me." Said Roshi, knowing he'll be able to sneak up on Hyper Perfect Cell, as he's busy with the others, and take the chance to seal him away.
"There's nothing we can do, that'll talk you out of it, is there?" Baba stated, looking at her brother somberly, and in acceptance, with Roshi shaking his head.
"Goku and the others, they've long since surpassed an old man like me. It's time to entrust the world and the teachings of the Turtle School to the next generation." Roshi said, proud of the students he's taught and knew the Earth was in good hands with them.
With that, Roshi walked out and summoned Baby Gamera, having it take him to where the Cell Games were.
*Cell Games*
Back at the Cell Games, no one had tried making a move, none of the Z-Fighters willing to risk charging Cell, with his new power. While Cell simply continued looking at them all, with a smirk, fully confident that no matter what they do, he'll win.
"How, how are you here?! I destroyed Gero's sub-lab, when I blasted Androids 13, 14 and 15! You should be dead!" Trunks shouted, not believing the Cell of this time could still exists, when he knows he left Gero's sub-lab a burning wreck.
"Are you quite sure you destroyed the entire sub-lab? If you are, then by all means, tell me how I'm here now." Cell said his smirk widening when Trunks's eyes widened in realization.
'13's shield!' Trunks thought, realizing that Android 13's Energy Shield must have inadvertently protected Cell's pod, with the Half-Saiyan having not bothered going back to check to make sure he really destroyed Present Cell, having been completely sure he got him.
And given that he had been more focused on the fact, there were three more Androids, along with Krillin dying, Trunks didn't even consider the possibility that Present Cell managed to survive.
'Damn it! This is all my fault! If I had only just gone back to make sure!' Trunks thought, cursing himself for his mistake, as now, they had an even bigger threat to deal with.
"Alright, then how did you get your Perfect Form, and Super Perfect Form? You would have needed to absorb me and my brother, to reach your Perfect Form, while the other Cell had to self-destruct and get a major power boost, to reach his Super Perfect Form." Lazuli said, standing tensely beside Naruto, with Cell chuckling at the question.
"That is quite the tale…" Cell said, as he began telling them his story.
*Flashback*
"It all started when Trunks's attack against the "defective" Androids destroyed most of the sub-lab. An emergency protocol was activated, one that accelerated my growth to my Imperfect Form."
Imperfect Cell busted out of his containment pod, breathing heavily, before looking up when he sensed his counterpart reach his Semi-Perfect Form.
"And imagine my surprise, and annoyance, when I sensed another me, one that was taking what didn't belong to him. But I also didn't want to waste such a golden opportunity, so I followed my counterpart, and hid within his shadow. His greater strength and identical signature, being perfect for masking my own."
Imperfect Cell watched as his counterpart chased after the Androids, before being stopped by Tien and Yamcha, leading to him absorbing the two fighters. Along with both learning about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
"And my patience paid off, as I finally got exactly what I was looking for, a way to achieve my perfection, in your own future, Trunks. Learning how the other me came to be in this timeline, and about your time machine."
Imperfect Cell hid within the shadows, listening intently at his future self's story, before making his escape, once he had the information he needed. While making plans to locate and steal Trunks's time machine.
"After that I hid myself, biding my time for the right moment. Along with increasing my strength by absorbing animals, and the few unlucky humans that stumbled onto me, that I obviously couldn't let live. Along with the chance to absorb an entire crowd of humans."
Grabbing the camera's and recording equipment with his telekinesis, Imperfect Cell crushed them, before revealing his presence. First stabbing his stinger into Mr. Satan's chest, and absorbing the man, before proceeding to do the same with the panicked crowd, refusing to let any of them escape. Along with being about to do the same to Videl, before fleeing, when he sensed Goku and Piccolo coming towards him, and likely Naruto, as well.
"And eventually, the big day had finally came, where you'd all be so busy focusing on the Cell Games, I could make my move. And wouldn't you know it, those good people at Capsule Corp were just too kind, to give me the time machine to use. They even threw in a meal for the road."
Imperfect Cell laughed wickedly, as he absorbed everyone in Capsule Corp, along with Panchy and Dr. Briefs once he had the time machine. Before entering the time machine and traveling to Trunks's future.
*End Flashback*
Cell smirked at everyone's horrified faces, with Trunks being the worse after hearing what happened to his grandparents before quickly spreading out his senses to Capsule Corp and mentally begging that Cell was lying.
*Kame House*
Meanwhile, at Kame House, Bulma was shaking in horror and panic at what Cell had just said, before quickly passing baby Trunks to Chichi, and rushing to the phone, dialing the phone number for Capsule Corporation.
'Pick up, pick up, pick up, please, pick up!' Bulma mentally pleaded, not wanting to believe her parents are dead.
Only to fall to her knees, crying, when no one picked up which at least someone should have done, even if it wasn't her parents. But there was no answer making her realize they were really gone.
Launch went over, and began confronting her distraught friend while baby Trunks began crying as well, sensing his mother's sadness.
*Cell Games*
Back at the Cell Games, Trunks reached the same conclusion, when he couldn't sense anyone in Capsule Corp. The Half-Saiyan looking at Cell with barely restrained rage, clenching his fists tightly, to the point they started bleeding, with bio-electricity sparking off his body.
"Oh, but wait, I haven't gotten to the best part yet." Cell said, while starting his story again.
*Flashback*
"When I arrived at the future, I was greeted by mother dearest, believing Trunks had come home, victorious. But instead, she found me."
Imperfect Cell stabbed his stinger into Future Bulma's chest, absorbing her and gaining her knowledge. Before exiting the underground bunker, to hunt down the remaining survivors of the future Androids' attack.
"Once I had Bulma taken care of, I went after everyone else who managed to survive the destruction, the Androids unleashed. Chichi, Ox-King, Roshi, Launch, and even little Puar, Oolong, and Turtle too. I hunted them all down and absorbed them. Of course, it also helped that I could sense energy, unlike the Androids."
Imperfect Cell laughed as he hunted down the friends and families of the deceased Z-Fighters, absorbing each and every one of them. Before going off to absorb all the remaining humans, as well.
"It was with Roshi's memories, that I located Korin's Tower, and absorbed both Korin and Yajirobe. Followed by going up to The Lookout, and absorbing Popo, as well."
Imperfect Cell jumped onto Korin's Tower, smacking Yajirobe aside, before absorbing Korin, followed by absorbing Yajirobe, as well. The Bio-Android then flying up to the top of The Lookout, and absorbing Mr. Popo next, with him then locating the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, making plans to use, it once he was finished on the Earth.
"It didn't take long, until I had all the power I needed, before tracking down 17 and 18 of that time, and well…hehehehe, I'm sure you know what happened next."
Standing over the beaten and terrified Future 17 and Future 18, Imperfect Cell couldn't deny a sadistic satisfaction at having them beaten, broken, and terrified at his feet. Though he supposed that was from Trunks's DNA inside him, relishing in the pain of the monsters that tormented him his whole life and killed his mentor.
Given, unlike his counterpart in the past and this future, Imperfect Cell did have Trunks's DNA, from when he went to the past to killed Frieza and King Cold. Now that part of Imperfect Cell was enjoying the fear on the Android's faces, even more so when he absorbed them both, finally reaching his Perfect Form.
"If it makes you feel better Trunks, they were terrified at the end. With my perfection achieved, I just had one more problem to take care of, the other future me. And thanks to our compatibility from being the same person, I was able to unlock my Super Perfect Form."
Cell slammed his future self into the ground, relishing in his new power, and proving he is the true Perfect Being to his inferior counterpart. Before his tail came out with the stinger opening up, and without hesitation, he engulfed and absorbed his counterpart.
The Bio-Android then gave a shout, as his power increased even further beyond its current level, gaining an intense golden aura with sparks of bio-electricity. Seeing he had ascended to his own Super Perfect Form, Cell laughed loudly, before flying off towards The Lookout.
*End Flashback*
"After that, I trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for the maximum two years, learning to master my new power. Though after a year, I left the chamber, in order to rest and meditate from the mental exertion, that came from being in that empty void. That's when I gained even more power, and several new abilities." Cell said smirking as he began telling them what happened after exiting the time chamber for the first time.
*Flashback*
Cell sat on The Lookout in a meditative position, breathing calmly as he rested his mind after spending an entire year in the time chamber alone. While he may be the Perfect Being, he knew he still had limits of what he could endure. And spending an entire year alone in an endless white void could drive anyone to madness.
He didn't even consider spending the entire two years in there, all at once. He probably would have self-destructed, just to escape the maddening silence and emptiness.
Though Cell's eyes snapped, as he gripped his head, before standing up.
"Wh-what?! What is this?! Something's…attacking, on the inside!" Cell shouted, feeling a presence trying to breach his mind, and take control of him.
'Someone would dare think…they can control me?! I am the Perfect Being, Cell! And I am controlled by no one!' Cell thought gritting his teeth, as a stylized M appeared on his forehead, while the veins around his body bulged out, a black shadow trim appeared around his eyes, and dark lines formed over the eyelids.
After a few moments, Cell stopped struggling, before his arms fell limply at his side, his head hanging low.
Not a moment later, four beings appeared in front of him, known as Yakon, Dabura, Pui Pui, and their leader the evil sorcerer, Babidi.
"Yes, yes, this one will do nicely. The power this being contains, it will certainly be enough for us to release Majin Buu." Babidi said, smirking, as they had sensed Cell's power, when he exited the time chamber, and the sorcerer knew that with Cell under his control, they'd be able to free Majin Buu, much sooner than he anticipated.
"Are you sure this being can be trusted, Master Babidi? Look at what he's reduced this planet to." Dabura said, frowning, while looking over The Lookout, and saw the vast destruction on the Earth below, believing Cell was the one responsible.
And while Dabura could careless about the death of a planet, he also felt that such a being couldn't be trusted, and should be destroyed before it could turn on them.
"I could care less if the creature can be trusted! After all, he's now under my control, just like the rest of you. Now let's go, and free Majin Buu." Babidi said, grinning wickedly at being able to release Majin Buu, and bring him under his control, as well.
Though suddenly, everyone was shocked, when Cell's head snapped up, showing a dark smirk on his face. Then before any of them could blink, Cell vanished in a burst of speed, before stabbing his stinger into Pui Pui absorbing him. Repeating the process with Yakon and Dabura as well, before appearing in front of the surprised, and terrified, Babidi.
"H-how?! You should be under my control!" Babidi shouted, not believing that Cell was able to resist his magic.
Cell chuckled maliciously, before lifting Babidi up by his throat.
"You truly think a pathetic, lowly creature, like you could control the likes of me. No, I am beyond your power, and soon, I'll be beyond this Majin Buu's power as well. But I will say this, the power you awakened within me will be put to good use along with your own." Cell said, before he absorbed Babidi into him, as well.
Clenching his fists, Cell smirked as he felt his power grow even further, along with gaining more knowledge on magic from Dabura and Babidi. In addition to the knowledge he gained from Roshi, Korin, and Mr. Popo.
'With the knowledge I've gained in magic, the power of the so-called "Demon King", and that creature's ability to absorb light, I have gained more power than my counterpart could hope to achieve!' Cell thought, pleased at his ever growing arsenal of abilities and powers.
Knowing he now had even more things to train and master, Cell returned to the time chamber to finish his training.
*End Flashback*
"After that, my business in the future was completed. So, I returned to the time machine and returned to the present, but not before I destroyed the Earth with a Death Ball, seeing as it no use for me anymore. And when I arrived back here, I used Kai Kai, a teleportation technique that I gained from Dabura, to arrive here at the Cell Games, to absorb my counterpart. Now, here we are at last." Cell concluded his story, as everyone looked at him shock, horror, and sadness at what he's done, outdoing anything Future Cell did in their time.
The worse being Trunks and Gohan, Trunks hearing that he's not only lost his grandparents in this time, but also his mother and whole world in the future. And Gohan, while knowing they weren't his own family, to hear his future mother, grandfather, and friends were all absorbed, along with the current state his father was in, it was to much for the boy to take.
It wasn't long until the sadness, shock, and horror both Half-Saiyans felt turned into pure rage, before with a shout their power exploded off of them, far greater than it ever has before. As both Trunks and Gohan finally reached Super Saiyan 2, the two immediately charging Cell, with every intention of killing him.
"Goku, eat this, quick!" Piccolo said, throwing Goku a Senzu Bean with the Saiyan doing so, as all his injuries were healed and his energy restored.
With that, they along with Naruto, Lazuli, Lapis, and Gebo charged towards Cell with Gohan and Trunks. All of them intent of taking him down, or die trying, knowing no matter what, they'd make sure Cell didn't escape.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Cell not only absorbed the future Androids and his other self, but also the remaining friends and family of the deceased Z-Fighters. Along with taking advantage of the two years in the time chamber, and encountering Babidi and his followers, gaining the Majin Mark and absorbing the four of them, giving him even more abilities to use and master. Now after absorbing his other counterpart, Cell has risen to become even more powerful, with Gohan and Trunks also being pushed to go Super Saiyan 2 and attack Cell in a blind rage.
