Crew:

Kyle (Impostor) – Blue Riley (Security) - Cyan

Ricky (Weapons) – Red Edgar (Captain) - White

Sofia (Cook) – Lime Helen (Communication) - Orange

Dereck (No specified role) – Black Chen (Electrical) - Purple

Grace (Nurse) – Pink Valerie (Cook) – Green

Sofia POV

"We're all going to die here…"

I don't know what to do anymore. I thought we had experienced enough murder for a lifetime, and now Chen is dead.

Dereck is hugging me, but he's not saying a word. He's not denying the fact that this is most likely the end for all of us.

I notice the captain walking out of Electrical. When I look up I see defeat written all over his face. He was already pretty down when Valerie and Helen died, this might be too much for him. Who am I kidding, it is too much for all of us.

"Let's go to the Cafeteria," Dereck suggests.

I silently let him guide me there. My brain is still working, but my body is numb. He sits me down on one of the chairs and runs into the kitchen. Seconds later he is back with a glass of water. It reminds me of Valerie giving us alcoholic drinks when we found that other body and more tears come welling up.

"I can't promise you everything will be okay," Dereck starts. "But I will protect you."

"How do I know you are not an Impostor?"

Dereck looks unsure for a second, but then leans forward and presses his lips on mine. It is a gentle kiss and I feel like flying. Dereck isn't the Impostor, he can't be.

When he pulls back I look in his eyes. A scent of worry, but that disappears when I smile softly.

"Okay, you are not the Impostor. I trust you."

Dereck smiles too.

"Now don't go and stab me in the back okay?"

I nod. Thanks to Dereck I feel a lot better. Maybe I do have some feelings for him.

I expected the captain to meet us here, but he is nowhere to be seen.

"Should we alarm the others?" I ask.

Dereck looks around. He too notices the absence of Captain Edgar.

"I don't know, maybe the captain is already doing that."

Riley POV

"Thank god the lights are on again.." Kyle sighs out. He turns the flashlight off and hands it to me. "I really hate the dark."

"Yeah me too, but I think it's okay now."

I turn around to check the cams, but I don't see anything. The hall above Medbay is empty. I notice the captain walking into Navigation, probably going back to his private quarters. Nothing bad there. Hallway near Admin is also clear. Finally, the one outside my door. Nothing.

"All clear."

Kyle nods. " I was worried this was the act of another Impostor, but maybe I am just overreacting."

A shiver goes down my spine. "Do you really think there is another Impostor?"

"I don't know, maybe? There is no reason to believe Helen acted on her own right?"

Damn now I'm freaking out again. Another Impostor out there, it could be anyone.

"Kyle, I don't think I can do it again?"

"Do what again?"

"Walk up to Cafeteria, seeing someone lying there dead. I want to be brave b-but, I can't go through that again."

Kyle softly smiles.

"I know, don't worry. You don't have to go anywhere."

"What do you mean? Will you check it for me?"

Kyle grins.

"3… 2…. 1.."

"What?"

Kyle's smile grows larger. His eyes have an evil twinkle in them. Suddenly, I realize it.

"It's you…"

It doesn't react, instead its mouth grows larger and larger.

I turn around to the door. Come on, that thing needs to open. The lock, crap the lock is still on the door.

"Help!"

My hands are shaking, dammit I can't get the lock open. Hurry!

"AAAHHH"

I feel It biting in my shoulder. The weight of the monster is dropping me to the ground.

"Let me go, please!"

"PLEASE!"

Grace POV

I'm just busy with the recent samples when I hear a door open and close. To make sure everyone is healthy and no-one is developing some kind of space sickness, they all need to spit in a cup every four to six days.

There are ten tubes, but two remain empty. The others seem healthy. Kyle's seems a bit off, I need to examine him in the coming days.

"How are you?" I hear Ricky ask behind me.

"Fine."

That's a lie. I have trouble dealing with people dying. As a nurse I'm more used to it maybe, but not like this. People dying out of nowhere due to murder, that is something I can't handle.

Not to mention that the lights suddenly went out. If I don't know any better I would say there was another Impostor.

I heard some screaming, but that is most likely the panic and scare from the other crewmates. Just to be sure I locked the door and listened carefully to what I heard. I heard some stuff but not clearly.

"For real Grace, I came here as soon as the lights came back on. How are you doing?"

"Wow, do you really care?" I try to sound as sarcastic as possible.

Ricky pulls up an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

"Well you don't really seem to care about the two people we lost."

He shrugs his shoulders, apparently he's admitting it.

"I only care about you, you know that."

"It would be nice to know you are capable of caring."

Ricky steps forward and I feel his hands on my arms.

"Baby, you know me. I don't. I can lie about it and say I do, but I just don't. But I care about you."

His face nears mine, but I turn away. Something he doesn't appreciate.

"You still don't even want to kiss?"

I turn away, I can't.

He growls and turns around. I hear the door open and close again.

It's fine. I don't see a future with Ricky anyway. I mean, I still like him a bit, but after the events that passed here I have trouble being affectionate. I constantly feel guilty for those who died.

My older sister, who is a psychologist, would probably say that this is not fair and I have no reason to feel like this, but I do and that doesn't make it easier.

Dereck POV

I notice Ricky storming out from Medbay. He barely even sees us.

"Hey Ricky, slow down."

He stops and looks at us.

"What?"

Sofia looks up, eyes still filled with tears.

"Chen was killed."

It takes Ricky a second, but then his eyes grow larger.

"Killed? What do you mean killed?" He walks closer.

"Ricky, there is another Impostor."

Ricky stays quiet, before turning round and walking towards the Observatory.

"Dammit! This can't be happening. What kind of horror movie did we walk in here?"

He smashes his fists onto the glass.

"Can you get Grace? We need to talk." Sofia asks.

Ricky nods.

"Yeah sure… Ehh, what about the others?"

"I'll go get Riley with Sofia. When we are back you and I can fetch the captain and look for Kyle."

"Okay, stay safe out there guys."

Sofia and I walk as quickly as we can towards Security. Behind us we hear Grace scream.

"I really don't know what to do now."

"I think we need to tell our stories again and find irregularities. That's how we got Helen."

"But what if Helen wasn't even an Impostor? What if it is the same one the entire time?"

"I can't think like that," I answer quickly. "I can't believe that we ejected the real Helen. If I do that, if I believe that, I'm lost. You can just drop me here and I'm done for."

Sofia slowly nods. "I know, I feel the same."

We pass a corner. I walk a bit faster than Sofia to make sure that, if there is something there, Sofia can get away. Due to that, I am the first to see past the corner.

"Sofia stop."

I see blood coming from underneath the door. I never felt this hopeless before, but right now, all hope is lost. Sofia was right earlier, this Imposter is even faster than the one that acted like Helen.

Sofia doesn't cry. Frankly I don't think she has any tears left. We lost so many people right now. Valerie, Helen, Chen and now. Who actually? The blood comes from Security so I think Riley got killed. Either Riley or Kyle is gone.

Gone.

"Let's just go back…"
