Chapter 9

Visitors Part 1

Alisa was doing her morning flyover of the Washington D.C landmarks, something she enjoyed every day. She had some college friends who had made a home out of an abandoned old apartment. It was gutted on the inside for being obsolete but never got demolished.

After her meet up with Nathan, she had flown Romona home to Guadalajara Mexico. Romona requested that she visited every now and then, so she was planning a trip soon.

As she was passing over the Washington Monument she noticed a creature running on top of the reflecting pool. It looked like a massive blue dog with a gem-like crest on its head.

This creature seemed to stand out more than any she had seen besides Nathan and herself. The creature looked up and immediately stopped, standing on top of the water like it was land.

Elisa landed on the marble walkway beside the pool as calmly as she could and said "Hello, who are you"

"My name is Elena Radames, you need to come with me," the Suicune replied.

"Um, why?" Alisa responded, somewhat confused.

"I work for someone who now is in charge of the entire Middle East. You will come and work for him as well" Elena stated bluntly.

"Um, no thanks, I have people here I like to be around," Alisa said as her tail began to glow, she didn't like the way this person was talking.

"I'm not asking" Elena clarified before charging a blue ball of energy in her mouth and fired it at Alisa.

Alise dodged the beam, the blast on energy leaving a trail of solid ice on the white stones where it hit.

"What are you doing!" Alisa questioned, completely caught off guard. She and Nathan had been training to utilize their powers but she wasn't quite as skilled him. More importantly, she was in no way ready for a fight.

"Taking you with me by force!" Elena said as she unleashed a volley of water and ice. Alisa dodged as best as she could, but it was clear Elena was far more skilled with her powers. Eventually, she dodged too late as her left-wing was frozen solid.

Alisa fell to the ground, she tried to get up but Elena completely encased her lower body in a cocoon of ice.

"Now, once Jackson and Akari have your friend under control they will meet me here" Elena sighed.

"My friend? Who else are you kidnapping?!" Alisa demanded.

"Are there any other giant black dragons on this continent?" Elena asked sarcastically.

Alisa was going into panic mode, she knew she could probably charge up her tail to melt the ice but Elena would freeze her before she could get airborne again. she had to think. Hopefully, there would be someone nearby who would help, but this was a longshot.

Elena looked up to see a group of black clouds swirling as if a funnel cloud was hanging above here.

"Akari, cut it out!" she yelled. Her Japanese acquaintance had a bad habit of spawning thunderclouds just to show off, but they looked more powerful and larger than Haruto's clouds did.

The clouds parted as a pillar of blue electricity shot down, Elena could only gasp as the massive blast of blue lighting completely consumed him. When the smoke cleared, Elena stood as still as a statue before falling to the ground twitching and sparking.

The clouds dissipated as Natan touched down with a look of rage in his red eyes. He turned his attention to Alisa as his expression softened, he smashed the ice with his arms and had her free in a few moments.

"Thanks for the save, how did you know to come?" Alisa questioned.

When two big dogs shooting fire and lighting came to kidnap me. I took them out since lighting and fire are nothing to me, but they mentioned that someone named Elena was going for the other dragon so I connected the dots.

Elena regained consciousness and looked at the duo, Nathan tensed, ready to summon more electricity, Elena may have had more experience but she knew she was outgunned.

"This isn't over, we'll be back" she warned before running off at an incredible speed.

The two dragons gave each other and look of concern, clearly, this wasn't over….

The three beasts appeared outside an old warehouse in Mexico City, Haruto via a bolt of lighting, Jackson in a ball of fire, and Elena in a cloud of mist. Only Elena could run on water but all three were capable of teleporting.

"What are we gonna do? The black one is way stronger than we thought!" Jackson conceded.

"Don't ask me, if we're lucky Alistar won't find out and we can make up an excuse" Elena hoped.

"You three should count yourselves lucky that I am in an understanding mood," a teenage American voice said, causing all three of the dogs to turn towards the warehouse's open front door.

Out of the door came a creature that had two tapering legs with a segmented, vertical, blue stripe on the upper portion. Its abdomen was black with vertical lines, while the majority of its skin was a reddish-orange. Its arms were a pair of tentacles coiled in a double helix. One tentacle was the primary skin color, while the other is light blue. A massive purple gem was embedded in its chest and its white, circular eyes were set inside rectangular, black eye sockets. It was slightly shorter than the beasts, but they were terrified of its presence.

"You three were outmatched, is that the truth?" the Deoxys asked, he was the chief enforcer of the creature that controlled the middle east, and he was clearly not pleased. He had no mouth and spoke by telepathically speaking to their minds.

Haruto stepped forward and said "our fire and electricity did nothing to the black dragon Alistar"

"I see, do not attempt to deceive me again or I will inform him" Alistar warned, his boss didn't take kindly to lies.

"What's the plan then?" Elena asked.

"Akari and Jackson will search for two new targets in South America, once contained teleport to Agra where he will be waiting for you" Alistar instructed.

'Ok, what about you?" Haruto asked.

Alistar scoffed and said "I will call for assistance and then Elena will help me detain those two dragons. I will oversee this task personally"
