As the kids watched Friday tumble through space, the countdown reached thirty seconds.
"How are we getting out of here now?" asked Energizer.
"There's only one way now, we have to use the boosters," said Zero-G as he pulled his energizer out.
"You're thinking of combining our powers while boosted, aren't you?" asked Lightspeed with a worried expression
"We did it by accident at the Institute that one day, boosted can get us further," said Zero-G.
"Then what are we waiting for?" asked Mass Master as he too pulled his booster out. Their sisters then followed them, and the second they hit the buttons, the ship exploded, which everyone below on the surface saw.
"Power Pack, can you hear me?" asked Ironman over coms. However, there was no answer and just static on the other end.
"We should have been the ones to go," said Mr. Fantastic as a couple of tears started to fall from everyone's eyes. Suddenly, a light appeared behind them with the children in it.
"Took more power to get here than I thought," said Zero-G as they all fell onto their backs out of exhaustion.
"You teleported back here?" asked Tony as his face shield moved up to reveal his surprised expression.
"We can teleport while in contact with each other, it took the boosters to get us back here though," said Mass Master.
"And now I can't feel my powers," said Energizer as she looked at her hands with a shad expression.
"I don't know about the three of you, but I want to go home to see mom and dad," said Lightspeed. The next thing anyone knew, she was gone in the blink of an eye.
"What's happening now?!" asked Mass Master as he started to grow bigger, his costume growing along with him.
"I… I can't see my hands," said Lightspeed as she started to faze in and out.
"Did our powers… get stronger?" asked a shocked Zero-G as a headache over took him while gravity increased a few feet around him to the point that the concrete shattered.
"Looks like they'll need new training," said Reed.
The End
