Chance (worried): What news?

Cameron: Today must be the day

Sarah (squeezing Kitty's hand): I will tell them, Kit

Place: A Dining Room

Situation: James Ellison and Jasper join the Connor Reese family for dinner

Sarah: James and Jazz, I am grateful you could join my family and me for Thanksgiving dinner.

James: I thank you for inviting Jazz and me over for Thanksgiving dinner. Now that Jasper and Kitty are dating, our families will have more time to bond.

Sarah: With everything that is going on, we could use the distraction

James: Sarah, you are a strong woman. You will win your battle against cancer. This Thanksgiving will not be your last.

Sarah: James, I thank you for the encouragement. I have been trying to stay positive.

Sarah: I am in a reflective mood because Kitty's 17th birthday is tomorrow. I am trying to stay positive.

Sarah: I have Cancer and probably dying. I have been preparing Kitty to become the woman of the house. She might take my place someday.

Kyle (changing the subject): I remember when you gave birth to Kitty. Kitty's birth was a crazy and difficult time for us. I thank you for your sacrifice and labor of love.

Sarah: I thank you for giving Kitty to me
