Farther, father, father light years away from Argo City...

A spacecraft flew light years across the stars. A ship that had went through previously settling on majority of planets, scouring to find one particular person. To no avail had they found them. They wasted countless hours driving themselves, covering on every sector of each planet. No hints were deduced, no notions were pictured, no visions. Superman and Wonder Woman are paired in the lobby, pouring their eyes on a displayed screen, before them. The screen that showed results of their once upon visits. They couldn't find him.

Superman turned his eyes to Wonder Woman's, perceiving the latter shaped in distress. "Diana?", he called. The plodded Wonder Woman revolved to turn her eyes onto Superman's. "We'll find him, for sure, we will".

Hearing Superman's assurance, Diana shakes her head left-to-right, not so bought into acknowledging Superman's word. "I don't know how you're taking it in Kal, but knowing that we've spent countless weeks in here does give me some oppression that our absences could shake some effect back on Earth", said Diana.

"Then the others will handle it. Earth has one Supergirl-"

"You mean a clone whom doesn't carry the same characteristics and persona as the real one; your Kara", Diana corrected, cutting out Superman's.

Superman moves his face direction aside, turning to another place. "Most of the times, as heroes, we do have duties on striving to keep every human being alive, and not have them be slain in anybody's harms way. On some senses of months, we retire from our role because we believe Earth can looked after, while the remaining can concentrate on their own businesses", Kal explained. "I am worried about Earth, Diana, but seeing Bruce lost in the outer roots of the galaxy, fills me with the course of action to ensure he is back in good hands". Superman then rolls his head to Diana's direction. He slowly walks along the transparent pathway, nearing on Diana. "I almost thought I lost Bruce, Diana. It affected me. Made me feel sorry for not being there for him when he confronted Darkseid. A mortal man, that had sustainably been lost in the course of random eventual time drives, with no memory. If the information we get from S.T.A.R. Labs in Metropolis is correct, I'm willing to sacrifice a sheer of my time to find my friend, our friend".

"You too share quite a close bond. No wonder the two of you are so tenacious, not giving up on one another. Bruce never giving up you when you were killed by Doomsday, him going on every side by side district, even to other countries, as far as outside of the atmosphere to find any relative source in reviving you. Now I'm seeing Kal doing the same for Bruce; in different state of affairs", Diana remarked.

Superman briefly giggled in response to Diana's remark.

Out of a sudden, an alarm rang, elevating Diana and Kal's senses. The two swirled their gazes to the appearing screens in front of them. Discerning at the screen, a small tab opened up, showing a recording visual image of a planet they have designated in.

"We've reached our next destination", Kal proclaimed.

"What is that?", Diana asked, staring at an image of a planet vastly different from the other planets they crossed in.

"Provision in peace, I hope", Superman expressed. The latter boots out a pair of masks that are each implanted with sufficient oxygen. Superman motions his hand, hurling it towards his side, at the direction of Diana's. Wonder Woman catches it, immediately embedding the mask on her mouth, to which the mask slowly wraps its fixed parts around Diana's cheek. So did Superman. The two prepare to land in their new designation, of which they are not recognisable of.

Lythyl

The spacecraft began landing down, emerging as a presence over a surface land of where it's consisted of mostly sand.

Diana and Kal finally walk out from the ship that had, at its last step, landed down on the surface.

Whilst walking along the way, Superman moves a hand on his earpiece, generating a holographic screen floating in front of them. After seconds of pass, it forms its image in the face of Green Lantern. "Hal. According to the information we got from our ship about this planet, it's called Lythyl", Superman addressed.

"Okay. Be careful. Last I heard of this place, millions were burnt dead because of Sinestro's assault", said Hal.

"Let me guess, Sinestro tried to rule over this planet like all the others, reshaping things into his image?", Kal assumed.

"Correct. You know Sinestro. He would do anything to get what he wants", Hal declared, briefly drawing a frustration breathe at his past dealing conflicts with him.

"Anyway. Have you and John found any trace of Bruce?"

"We're still searching. We'll get back to you as soon as we find it", Hal said. Without intervening time, Hal shuts himself out, immediately rendering the screen to casually disperse.

During that time when Kal had his length of a short talk with Hal, he and Diana had extended their distance reach to dozens of metres further.

Across the deserted surface, Diana and Kal see a manhole cover a few distances away from them. They were drawn into it, though not as in perception in having affection over it, but curious on what dangers might lurk in there.

"Where would that lead do?", Diana questioned, advancing ahead to finally stop her mark close to the manhole. She was about to take action in moving her hands to carry out the plate, only to gestured to stop by Kal-El.

"Stay back", Superman asked, reminding Diana that this wasn't the first time they stumbled upon encountering what's beneath the surface. Kal motions his head down, using x-ray vision to view what's underneath the manhole cover. His eyesight was suited to only catch glimpses of ongoing activities. "There seems to be a low profile in these mobs".

"There are people down there?", Diana questioned. She would've already known the answer but thus far was worn into being so peculiar at what occurrences are running underground. She underwent many encounters in having to face foes that inhabited lairs not known from perspective publicities.

"Only a few. They appear to be miners, possibly slaves", Kal-El presumed, bringing Diana into a astounding figure of shaped eyebrows raised up, as well as her mouth broadened.

"Then we take action", Diana declared, coming to halt her sword out. The prompted Kal looked to his right, sharing a smiley expression with her. The two wouldn't just leave behind any slaves to get brutally tortured and forced to work, Superman and Wonder Woman needed to intervene. Like they always did in various missions they crossed onto, regarding the Justice League businesses, especially the Trinity. In the manner of this occasional saving timing, Diana is hastened to subdue any evil as soon as she could, she is so intense in the intention of looking for Bruce.

Several hooded figures muffled in their separate course of on-takes, digging out, equipped with a pickaxe. They ongoing digging suddenly shattered violently. Their eyes discerned the sounds of entering inbreaks of two figures, both of which have plummeted from the only entrance.

More and more of the insiders gathered, confronting who was there in front of them.

"Release the prisoners now or you will be dealt with the hard way", Superman warns, floating in air, with arms crossed. Superman and Wonder Woman's eyes thereupon perceives every slave and guard steadied in structural formations. Astounded Superman and Wonder Woman at how the slaves, they were intending to save, are suddenly siding with the punishers.

"What?", Diana exclaimed, finding it confusing to comprehend the sudden abet.

Every guard and slave started transforming by tapping on the head bands, upheld on their heads. Their quick transformations came into the form of similar figures. Their separate body parts shaped in the extension of their physical layouts, growing into arms and legs, specially their centred sides; all into one thing.

"Robots?", Diana exclaimed, judged upon.

"No! Betas! It's a trap!", Superman shouted. He was struck in the back with a ruptured burst across his back, dropping Superman down on the ground, next to Diana. Kal-El groaned, undergoing a bit of a pain leaked by his back. Albeit, he is presently supported by Wonder Woman, whom attached her hands over to his arm and shoulder.

Droids walked along a way, getting closer to Diana and Kal's end. Each droid help a gun, aiming the weapon at the duo. While that came in set, the walls in everyone's surroundings slid in opposite sides, emerging its green lighting. Its exposure starts to weaken Superman's body, multiple times pounding him in every side of his skin. The latter groans by the increasing radiance of the green, widening its distance to land all over his sides, even his insides. He whines more and more, perceptive over a growing energy rising to kill him.

"Kal?!", Diana exclaimed.

"Green kryptonite", Superman bitterly says, shaking whilst his two hands tried to conceal his head.

Diana was soon knocked out of the way, rolled back a few steps. Following a few steps, Diana tries to grip her stands together, slowly repositioning herself as she successfully rolls over in on one leg on its knee. Diana beckons her hands, combining them in one formed slap. She produces a thunderous wind of widening clash, easily dispersing the droids back.

Wonder Woman rotates her gaze to the middle side of the in-between lamps. She runs across, leaping up. She takes her sword her, straight way pointing it onto a point that's in the midst of in-between two lamps: a generator. Diana thrusts her sword, stabbing on it. A vitals of the machine begin to break apart, releasing wasting mini-explosives. Following the generator shut out, the lamps, exposing green kryptonite, shuts itself down. The green shimmers finally walk out of Superman's exterior system. Once the kryptonite's effect wearied down over him, Superman started to heavily regain his composure. In each count, he calms a bit of his parts down.

After Superman regained his usual posture, he turned his eyes toward Diana, whom stared at him with a worried look. "Thanks", said Kal.

"Don't mention it", Diana assured him. Her body then turned to face a remaining active bot that barely recovered from Wonder Woman's sheer force, produced from her bracelets.

The two walk on, moving their direction onto the last leftover droid.

The bot's head lifts up, perceiving upon the faces of Diana and Kal.

"Talk!", Kal began, in terms of his interrogation.

The robot hadn't answered his question. He glanced up on Superman and Wonder Woman, separately. He did understand Superman's request but was examining them, prior to instating his true self. The robot starts to get up, prompting Superman and Wonder Woman to shape into their respective fighting styles.

As the robot lifted itself up, he made no point in forming his stance, he stood upright, glaring at them. His head goes under way in reforming its prime log, forming itself as a face that displays a fixed screen.

Wonder Woman and Superman slightly reduced their fierce senses, finding some thought that their enemy isn't attacking them.

The screen turns itself on, showing to Diana and Kal a visual image of a seemingly recording tab. "Hello Kal-El, son of Jor-El, also known as the last son of Krypton. And Diana Prince of Themyscira. By now, I would've figured out that you spent 2 months, hopping through majority of the remaining worlds, searching for a human, known to his race, as Bruce Wayne...".

"Hold just a sec", Superman expressing his curiosity on. "I know this voice".

"How does he know we're looking for Bruce?", Diana asked, wondering.

"If you have left your home world, then you have grown to be quite the clod I wasn't anticipating you'd be. All this time, you should've realised that one world will be taken away when one wishes to leave by his will", said the mysterious voice.

Superman outstretched his eyes, realising what this thing was trying to say. He releases a red beam, blasting on the robot's head, destroying it.

"Why did you-?", Diana was cut off with Superman explaining for his reason.

"This was all a diversion, Diana! We were so naïve that we believed Bruce was the main distraction he wanted us to avert our eyes for 2 strengthened months"

"What?!", Diana cried, shocked. Two months they've underwent, trying to search for Bruce's remains across the galaxies light years passing. "This can't be right, Kal. Don't say that to me. Tell me this is not true! Tell me!". Diana's hands were patched on Superman's, shaking the latter, begging on him.

"I'm so sorry, Diana. I really am. I'm so...", Kal failed to utter his apology. He made an oath at the time before he went on his journey through space that he would find Bruce. The signal Lena handed them, the anticipation shown from the appearing slaves and guards, the voice he perceived to be way familiar. It was summing up a point on who is really behind the scenes. Kal finally realised who it was, and he is very enraged as his fist clenched hard, gripped into a horrific turf of blazing energy, dwelling inside. In this circumstance, Superman is ready to avow in making sure this being will be eradicated.
