Hey, I'm back with a new chapter.
DCDGojira, yep, I sure hope it'll be good hahaha. And yeah, I heard the Shin Ultraman movie is coming out this year, but with Covid I'm not sure how it'll go. Supposedly it's a remake of the entire Ultraman series, with the original design they scrapped before.
Karlos1234ify, thank you.
ex555, I'm not sure if I'll ever make them sing, but sure hahaha.
IdeaPerson1097, yep. And well, they both know of Chris' situation, Bemular more so than Genjuro. And we know who Bemular actually is, so it'd make sense hahahaha.
Ultimablast3, everything between Bemular, Enki and Shem-Ha will be revealed in the later parts of the story. Unfortunately, I'm not gonna add the Alien City, and it'll be explained in the later parts of the story too.
So yeah, here's the new chapter. Hope yall enjoy.
XXX
After meeting Chris and Bemular, Genjuro and Moroboshi were on their way back to the base at Lydian Academy.
As they sat in the car, Genjuro looked at the bespectacled man, "Moroboshi-kun, later, about Chris and Bemular, I hope you'd keep it a secret."
The man raised an eyebrow, "I won't say no, but why?"
Genjuro closed his eyes, "Just for my own peace of mind."
Moroboshi stared at the commander, before he nodded, "Very well."
The redhead nodded, "Thank you."
He then brought out the thumb drive Bemular gave them, "But, I still can't think of a reason why Bemular of all people would give us this..."
Moroboshi stared at the thumb drive, "He has been fighting Hayata-san for a long time now, hasn't he?"
Genjuro nodded, "A few scuffles here and there, never a full out fight, at least according to Hayata-san. Rather, Bemular fought harder against Shinjiro-kun."
The bespectacled man nodded, "Hmm... Do you want me to have a look at the drive?"
The redhead nodded, "It'd be appreciated if you could."
Moroboshi nodded and took the drive, before they sat in the car in silence.

Meanwhile, back in HQ, Shinjiro walked along the corridors.
School had been, as usual, boring, and he found himself coming back to the base, even if he didn't need to. His father had told him, since he could fly, they'd contact him if there was a need for him to fight.
Hibiki and Miku stayed in Lydian Academy most of the time anyway, so it wasn't an issue for them.
Tsubasa had Shinji, who had his own car, and not to mention the girl had her own bike too, so they didn't need to standby at the base as often.
And Moroboshi worked as a full time agent for Section 2. Needless to say that man was on standby 24/7 if he wasn't working with another squad.
As Shinjiro walked, he spotted Ryoko in front of him, and the woman evidently spotted him too.
The scientist grinned, "Ah, Shinjiro-kun, just the young man I wanted to see!"
Shinjiro blinked slowly, "Hey, Ryoko-san..."
Ryoko smiled, "Care to follow me to my lab for a brief moment? I never did explain the full extent of my upgrades to your armor, did I?"
The teen nodded, but the glint in the scientist's eyes really unnerved him, "Y-yeah, but it's fine! It's just the Ultra Barrier and a few performance upgrades, yeah?"
Ryoko raised an eyebrow, "Just the barrier and a few performance upgrades? Nonono, I did more than that! Now come with me! We'll go through your suit's new features and test a bit on your Spacium core!"
Shinjiro blinked, but before he could respond, the woman dragged him by the arm and pulled him towards her lab. And surprisingly, the woman had a really strong grip.
It took them five minutes to reach the lab, and Ryoko immediately sat Shinjiro down on a chair, before pulling up a few monitors.
The scientist then looked at him, "Alright, so let's go through your suit. We'll start with what you already know. The Ultra Barrier."
Shinjiro nodded, "O-okay..."
Ryoko grinned, "I made use of Spacium Energy to solidify as a wall, much like how you make the Ultra Slash rings. Except, instead of a ringed blade, we made a shield. You follow me so far?"
The teen nodded, "Yeah, it works in a similar way as the Ultra Slash rings, right?"
The woman nodded, "Bingo. That's really all it does so far, sadly. And then I tweaked the programming of the suit a bit, so it responds slightly better than before."
Shinjiro nodded, "Yeah, it was in that brief summary sheet you gave me."
Ryoko nodded, "Yep. I also relocated a few of your armor plates for more mobility, and fortunately, there is no lack of protection either way, but we can ignore that."
She then pulled up a screen, "I also added that secondary Spacium condenser I told you about before. You will still have your Spacium Core, of course, but the amount of energy it outputs now will be slightly lowered, since we'll be directing a bit of that energy to the condenser."
Shinjiro nodded, before he asked, "Why do we need the condenser though?"
Ryoko grinned, "Before I answer that question, Shinjiro-kun, tell me, how much of a Gundam fan are you?"
The teen blinked, "Hmm, I watched a few of them here and there. What does this have to do with that?"
The scientist pulled up a screen of a very familiar Gundam. 00.
And Shinjiro blinked as realization hit him, "Wait, you don't mean?"
Ryoko grinned, "Yep. I recreated the Trans-AM for your suit! Technically it doesn't really boost your suit's performance, it just releases the limiter on the suit to bring it to its full capacity."
She pulled up the blueprints for that feature, "I guess an easier way of understanding this would be to run your suit on turbo."
Shinjiro nodded, "Because my suit is too powerful to have it running on max capacity everytime we use it?"
Ryoko nodded, "Yes. Well, aside from the fact that its energy consumption is off the charts, your body won't be able to withstand operating at that level for more than a few minutes."
The teen nodded, "I see..."
The scientist then looked back at the specs, "Well at any rate, it's basically just releasing the limiter on your suit. As a side effect from all the condensed Spacium energy released in one go, your suit will glow red, and you will have only 3 minutes before the suit deactivates."
She looked at Shinjiro, "I suppose it would also be important to note that your body would be extremely fatigued after using that system."
Shinjiro nodded, "So I shouldn't use the system unless I really need to."
The woman nodded, "Yes, which brings us to the next issue. Your own Spacium Core."
The teen blinked, "What about it?"
Ryoko grinned, "Your Spacium Core is essentially the same as the one we have in your suit, but better. But unfortunately we don't have a way to use it. So I want to test a few things to see if we can bring it out."
Shinjiro blinked, and he nodded slowly, "Okay, I guess..."
The woman smiled at him, "Don't worry, I won't milk you dry. And it probably might hurt a little bit, but just bear with it, okay?"
She brought out a few suspicious looking devices, and before Shinjiro knew it, he was strapped to the chair he was sitting on.
The teen blinked, "Eh?"
Ryoko smiled innocently, which didn't fit her face at all, "Now, try and call upon your core for me, okay?"
(Linebreak)
After approximately 30 minutes, Shinjiro was standing by a table, slightly tired, as far from Ryoko as he could get without leaving the lab.
The woman frowned as she looked at the condenser she had, "Hmm, unfortunately we couldn't get out as much as I wanted to... We'll have to try different methods, I'll cross out the way we used on the suits."
Shinjiro blinked, "There's a next time?"
Ryoko smiled, "Of course! If we can figure out how to use your Spacium Core, you won't need an external one and you can fight on your own!"
She gave him a look, "Come on! Don't you wanna fire your own Spacium Rays or Ultra Slashes?!"
The teen sighed, "That's a different thing."
Ryoko stared at him, "How is that different?"
The scientist sighed, "Well, at any rate, I'll have to look up more ways we can bring the energy from your core out. Go get some rest. Bug Hibiki-chan or Tsubasa-chan, or maybe that new girl, Miku, was it? Anyway, just get out, shoo."
Shinjiro sighed and walked towards the door, which was simply right next to him, "Okay okay... I'll leave you alone."
Ryoko just waved it off as the teen left the room.
As soon as she made sure he was gone, Ryoko locked the door and pulled out a separate condenser from the device she had used.
The woman smiled, "That had gone far better than I'd expected. He has more than 3 times the capacity of the Spacium cores we built."
Ryoko pulled up a blueprint for another item, "Hmm, I'll have to start working on this as soon as I can."
(Linebreak)
Shinjiro walked out from the lab, wanting to get away as fast as he could. He swore that woman was crazy, and that experiment had taken out of him more than he wanted to admit.
Shinjiro let out a breath as he walked, and he spotted Tsubasa working on what seemed like a textbook, humming as she did.
The teen blinked, recognising the song easily, Gyakkou no Flugel.
He walked to her, "Hey, Tsubasa."
The girl had evidently been really focused on her work, because she jumped when she heard Shinjiro's voice, and she snapped her head at him, "S-Shinjiro-kun?!"
The teen smiled, "Are you doing homework?"
Tsubasa nodded, "Yes. My teachers know I'm busy, and well, I was hospitalised just a while ago, I have to catch up."
Shinjiro nodded, "But, now I think about it, isn't it weird to have a superstar learning at a musical school?"
The girl shrugged, "Sort of... Well, I don't really learn stuff there. I'm just there for show, really... Ojii-sama wanted me to have somewhat of a normal highschool life, I guess..."
The teen nodded, "I see..."
Tsubasa nodded, "At any rate, it doesn't really bother me. If I don't go to school, I'll be on standby here anyway when I'm not rehearsing for any lives or making new albums."
Shinjiro chuckled, "I can't relate. But as long as you enjoy doing that, then I'm all for it."
The girl paused, "Enjoy doing it... Huh..."
The teen blinked, "Tsubasa, did you say something?"
Tsubasa caught herself and shook her head, putting on a smile, "No, nothing."
Shinjiro stared at her, "If you say so."
The girl then noticed that they were alone in hallway, and she smiled, "It's really been a long time since we've been together alone like this."
The teen blinked, before he smiled and nodded, "Yeah... Not since..."
He trailed off, and Tsubasa nodded, "Not since Kanade left..."
The two stayed there in silence for a while, until Shinjiro spoke up, "Hey, Tsubasa, are you free tomorrow?"
The girl blinked, "Hmm, yeah, it's a break day for me, why?"
The teen smiled, "How about we go have some fun, for old times sake?"
Tsubasa returned the smile, "Sure, I'd like that."
Shinjiro nodded, before the girl realized something and blushed, "D-does that mean it's a date?"
The teen blushed slightly, and he took a second to gather his thoughts, "W-well, if you want it to be one.."
Tsubasa froze, before she nodded slowly, "Then... It's a date..."
Shinjiro nodded, before he asked, "Okay, then we'll meet up tomorrow at noon?"
The girl nodded, her mind totally not on her homework any more, and instead, racing on what to wear tomorrow. She then stood up, packing her stuff before Shinjiro realized, "Then tomorrow, noon, at the park near your home, okay?"
Shinjiro nodded, "Sure."
Tsubasa smiled, "Then I'll see you tomorrow."
Without waiting for a response, the girl took off, walking away, not bothering with the fact that she hadn't even gone through half of her homework.
Shinjiro scratched the back of his head, before he too decided to head off.
As the two left, neither of them noticed a certain cream haired girl watching them, and she grinned, before texting her best friend on her phone.
(Linebreak)
The next day, Shinjiro walked to the park. He wore a simply red and black shirt that was oddly reminiscent of his alter ego, along with a pair of long pants.
The teen walked around, until he spotted Tsubasa. She stood near a bench, and wore a short sleeved blazer over a singlet, with a pair of short jeans and a newsboys hat.
Tsubasa noticed him and waved, and Shinjiro greeted, "Hey, Tsubasa, sorry, I kept you waiting."
The girl smiled, "It's fine. I actually just got here not long ago."
Shinjiro nodded, "Then, shall we get going?"
Tsubasa nodded, "So, where to first?"
The two started walking, and the teen spoke, "I was thinking of hitting the arcades a bit, then maybe do something you'd like?"
Tsubasa nodded, "I'm fine with anything, you can decide."
Shinjiro nodded, "Then, let's just go to the arcade first, then maybe go to the mall nearby?"
The girl just nodded, and they continued walking, making small talk as they did.
Soon, they found themselves in the arcade, which, fortunately, wasn't as crowded as it would usually be.
Shinjiro glanced at Tsubasa, "So, what do you want to play first?"
The girl looked around, before eyeing a racing bike game, and she looked at Shinjiro, "Let's start with that one."
The teen looked at the arcade console, and he smiled, "Racing? You're on."
Shinjiro quickly went and got two of the arcade credit cards, before he gave one to Tsubasa, and they both got on a bike each.
(Linebreak)
A few rounds later, Shinjiro and Tsubasa walked away from the console, the former with an expression that bordered between a deadpan and disappointment.
The girl giggled, "Well, it's okay, Shinjiro-kun, you can try harder next time."
The teen stared at her, "You serious? Ten rounds. In a row. I never even came close."
His words merely made it harder for her to hold back her laughter, and it also made Tsubasa almost feel bad for him. Almost.
Shinjiro sighed, "Alright, let's go look at something else."
Tsubasa just giggled as they continued browsing the arcade, and they soon came across the claw machines. Shinjiro quickly noticed Tsubasa staring at one of the machines.
He peaked into the machine by her side, "You want one?"
Tsubasa nearly jumped, before she blushed, "Eh? N-no, not really..."
Shinjiro chuckled and simply scanned the card, inserting the credits, "Come on, which one do you want?"
Tsubasa resisted the urge to pull her hat down, before she pointed at a chubby silver eagle doll, "T-that one..."
The teen chuckled, "Gotcha..."
He carefully aimed the claw at the specific doll, and pressed the down button to grab it. But unfortunately, the moment claw pulled the doll to the top, it dropped to the bottom.
Shinjiro grunted in frustration, and he tried again. And again. And again.
After about seven tries, Tsubasa nudged him on the shoulder gently, "Hey Shinjiro-kun, I think that's enough? It's fine if we don't get it."
The teen didn't spare her a glance, "No, we can definitely get it. I just need a bit more..."
Tsubasa blinked, and she noticed that the doll had been inching closer to the hole for every time Shinjiro tried. And by now, it was pretty much right next to the hole.
Shinjiro aimed the claw one more time, and grabbed the doll. And sure enough, the doll dropped straight into the hole, allowing them to claim the prize.
The teen grabbed the doll and held it to Tsubasa, "Here."
Tsubasa blinked, before she smiled, "Thank you."
Shinjiro just grinned, "You're welcome."
He would have said more, but he was interrupted by an awkward growl.
The two blinked, and Shinjiro barely suppressed his blush as Tsubasa giggled, "I guess lunch is our next stop."
Shinjiro nodded, his face still slightly red, "Y-yeah..."
The girl craddled the doll in her arms, "Okay, follow me, I have just the place we can go."
(Linebreak)
Soon, the pair found themselves in a traditional Japanese restaurant, and the two sat down by a corner as they looked at the menu.
Tsubasa smiled as she didn't need to look at the menu, already knowing what she wanted, "This place is one of my favourite places. The food they make tastes just like home made."
Shinjiro gave her a small smile, "I'll take your word for it then."
The girl nodded, and she called for a waiter.
(Linebreak)
As Shinjiro and Tsubasa talked, they didn't notice a pair of girls at the far end of restaurant.
Miku sighed as Hibiki glanced at the pair, "Hibiki, are you really sure we should be doing this?"
The cream haired girl glanced at her best friend and whispered harshly, "Of course! Tsubasa-san and Shinjiro-san are on a date! We can't possibly let this chance slip by!"
Miku sighed, "But are you really alright with this?"
Hibiki raised an eyebrow, "Hmm? What do you mean?"
The black haired girl stared at her, "Don't you like Shinjiro-san too?"
The girl spluttered, "E-eh?! Where did that come from?!"
Miku blinked, "Hmm? I thought since you two fight alongside each other, and you seemed to be with Shinjiro-san more than Tsubasa-san, I thought you liked him?"
Hibiki spluttered, "N-no! Not really! I mean, yes, I do like him, but not that way... I think."
The black haired girl sighed, "I see.."
The cream haired girl then turned to focus on Tsubasa and Shinjiro, "At any rate! We can't take our eyes off of them!"
Or at least, they would have done so, if one of the staff hadn't approached them.
"Now while it is good to see some of her fans, it'd be really appreciated if you don't do anything to jeopardise their time."
The two turned to see a very intimidating man, wearing the waiter's uniform. The man continued, giving Hibiki a stern stare, making the two girls pale, "The girl has it tough as it is. I suppose I don't need to repeat myself, now, do I?"
"Now now, they're clear. They're part of her other job."
Only then did Hibiki and Miku notice the two men that were seated at the table right beside them.
Hibiki blinked, "Ogawa-san? Moroboshi-san?"
Moroboshi huffed and glanced at the waiter, "They're good. We'll keep them with us, so go make sure everything goes smoothly."
Shinji smiled, placing a finger to his lips, "Just please keep it quiet, okay, Hibiki-san?"
The waiter sighed, "Very well. But make sure to behave, you two."
Hibiki and Miku just nodded as he walked away. Miku then looked at the two older men, "Umm, who was that?"
Shinji smiled, "One of our friends from Tsubasa-san's security team. You never know when some people try to look for some scoops, so we try to keep things under control as much as possible."
Hibiki oh'd, "So that's why you're here."
Moroboshi froze for a split second, before he nodded, "Yeah."
Shinji held back a smile as that slight pause didn't escape him. He was, of course, here for that, but what the two girls didn't know, was that the bespectacled man was more concerned with Shinjiro doing anything that he wasn't supposed to do.
The manager of Kazanari Tsubasa smiled, "Now since we're all here, let's just keep quiet, and try to make sure that their outing goes on smoothly, okay?"
Moroboshi nodded begrudgingly, while Miku and Hibiki both blinked a few times, shared a glance, before nodding in agreement.
(Linebreak)
With Tsubasa and Shinjiro, the waiter had just finished serving them their food, and the pair spoke in unison, "Itadakimasu..."
Shinjiro broke his wooden chopsticks apart and started to eat, and Tsubasa was about to do the same, until she spotted something, or rather, someone.
The girl's eyebrow twitched slightly as she noticed the two men sitting some distance away from their table. And surprisingly, she failed to notice Hibiki and Miku near the two men.
Shinjiro blinked, "Tsubasa, is there something wrong?"
The girl blinked, before remembering where she was, and smiled kindly, "Ah, it's nothing. Let's eat, the food might get cold."
Shinjiro nodded, "Yeah, of course."
Tsubasa smiled, "And after lunch, how about we go shopping a bit?"
The teen blinked, "Shopping?"
The girl nodded, "I've been thinking of getting some new clothes, and I don't feel like shopping online."
Shinjiro just shrugged, "Sure."
Tsubasa nodded, before they went back to eating. And as she ate, the girl made a mental note to have a talk with her manager and her senior disciple.
But for now, she would focus on her date with Shinjiro first. Then worry about everything else.
(Linebreak)
After finishing their meal, Shinjiro had gone to pay the bill, but Tsubasa obviously had other ideas.
It was cute for the four bystanders to see the pair argue over who would pay, but with how long they were at it, it was starting to get annoying, and Moroboshi had half a mind to walk over to the cashier and pay for their meal himself.
Fortunately, the pair decided to just split the bill after 7 minutes of arguing, and it was right before Moroboshi could make the decision to fuck it with discretion.
Now, the pair walked towards a mall, and Tsubasa glanced back at where she spotted two men in black suits tailing them. Again, missing the two girls that were some distance from them.
The bluenette then spotted a boutique nearby and looked at Shinjiro, "Come on, let's go look at that one."
Shinjiro nodded and simply followed, and they entered the shop.
The girl browsed around, before grabbing a dress, and showing it to Shinjiro, "What do you think?"
The teen smiled awkwardly, "Umm, what?"
Tsubasa gave him a glance, before looking back at the rack of clothes, "I'm asking how do you think this would fit me?"
Shinjiro blinked, "Oh... Umm, good, I guess?"
The bluenette gave him another glance, "Really?"
The teen scratched the back of his head, "To be honest I think you'd look great in anything you choose to wear."
That caught the girl off guard, if only a little bit, and Tsubasa found herself focusing on the rack of clothes, "I... see..."
Shinjiro blinked, "Umm, did I say something wrong?"
The girl jumped, before she shook her head frantically, "No!"
Tsubasa caught herself, before grabbing two more dresses, "Alright, I'll go try them out."
Shinjiro nodded, and the girl turned to walk towards the fitting room, until she turned back and stared at him. The teen blinked, "What's wrong, Tsubasa?"
The girl gave him a pointed the stare, "What are you standing there for?"
Shinjiro blinked again, "What?"
Tsubasa frowned, "How will you tell me how they look if you're here?"
The teen blinked, before realizing what she meant, "Oh... Umm, okay, sorry..."
The girl sighed exasperatedly as the teen followed her, and she handed him her handbag, "Wait a moment, I'll come out in a bit."
Shinjiro just nodded and took the bag, and the girl closed the door behind her.
It was really fortunate that none of the staff were near them. It'd be really awkward if they saw him and Tsubasa here, especially if anyone recognised the bluenette.
After 3 minutes, the door opened, revealing Tsubasa in a casual light blue dress, "So, how do I look?"
Shinjiro blinked, and he opened his mouth, only to close it back, before he decided to settle with a pair of thumbs up.
Tsubasa blinked a few times at his reaction, before she giggled, "I guess I'm definitely taking this one then."
The teen just nodded, not really trusting himself to speak, lest he say something stupid.
The girl nodded to herself, before going back into the fitting room, "I'll try out the others, and you tell me what you think about them, kay?"
Shinjiro simply nodded, "S-sure..."
(Linebreak)
Meanwhile, outside the boutique, Moroboshi frowned, "What the hell are those two doing?"
Shinji sighed as he leaned against the wall, not really much interested in spying on the date, "They're simply buying clothes."
Hibiki and Miku both grinned, the former speaking, "Tsubasa-san's bold!"
Miku nodded, before she thought about it and commented, "Well, she's just trying out the clothes to get a second opinion, I don't really see a problem with that."
Moroboshi opened his mouth, before he remembered both Hibiki and Miku were still on the younger side, and decided to hold his tongue. The man then stepped forward into the store, until Shinji held him back by the arm.
The manager sighed, "Calm down, Moroboshi-san, you know as well as I do that they won't do anything stupid."
The bespectacled man frowned, "They're two hormonal teenagers, what do you think?"
Shinji shook his head, "Relax, they are simply choosing clothes to buy."
Moroboshi opened his mouth to retort, until they heard a teenage boy speak, "Hey, I think I saw Kazanari Tsubasa in that boutique!"
A girl's voice responded, "Really?! Let's go look!"
The bespectacled man paused, and he frowned, "We have trouble.."
Shinji nodded and got off the wall, "Then we'd better deal with it."
The two men walked towards the group of teenagers that were planning on entering the boutique, and Hibiki and Miku blinked, when the group walked off with slightly disappointed faces.
Hibiki asked, "Umm, what just happened?"
Shinji looked at the girl, "As you know, Tsubasa-san is quite the celebrity here, and fans do pose as a problem when she wants to have a normal day, so we're responsible to keep that at bay."
Moroboshi huffed, "Dumb fucks don't know how it is for her when they come in..."
The two girls simply smiled awkwardly, considering they too were one of those die hard fans a while ago. Shinji seemingly noticed that, simply chuckled, "Let's just focus on watching them and keeping unwanted trouble away."
No one disagreed.
(Linebreak)
After picking the few pieces of clothing, Tsubasa dragged Shinjiro to the men's section and had him try on a few sets of clothing.
After trying them out, the pair headed for the cashier, before heading out of the boutique.
Shinjiro sighed as he looked at the bag he carried, "I can't believe you. I told you I'd pay for your clothes, but then you had to force me to get the clothes I tried... by paying for them."
Tsubasa giggled, "It's not that bad, okay?"
The teen simply shook his head as they walked out of the store, before Shinjiro asked, "So, what do you want to do now?"
The girl looked at the time, and it was already 4pm, "Hmm, we have a bit of time, wanna watch a movie?"
Shinjiro shrugged, "Sure, why not?"
The two then headed for the cinema, while the four observers followed quickly.
(Linebreak)
After the movie, Shinjiro and Tsubasa both wandered around aimlessly, until they stood at one of the parks near Lydian Academy.
The two watched at the sunset, and Tsubasa glanced at the playground behind them, before looking over the parts of the city that could be seen from the park, "You know, now that I think about it, I've never really physically been to most of the places we went today."
Shinjiro blinked, "Really?"
The girl nodded, "I am but a guardian, and with all my work, I guess I never really had the time."
Tsubasa looked over the city, "It's like a whole new world."
The teen blinked, before he smiled, looking at the city, "But this is the world you fought to protect, Tsubasa. You've fought far longer than any of us have."
The girl nodded, "I know..."
Shinjiro nodded, "And that's why you deserve to know what this world holds. I'll make sure you get to."
Tsubasa smiled, "I'll look forward to it."
The teen chuckled, "Besides, you won't be fighting alone from now on. You have me, Hibiki and Moroboshi-san."
The girl nodded, "That's true."
Shinjiro smiled and nodded, before Tsubasa spoke up again, "Kanade once told me, that she believed that there'd be something waiting for us after all the fighting, and she'd seen it."
The teen looked at her, and Tsubasa continued, "I want to find out what she meant. And Shinjiro-kun, I want you to be there with me."
Shinjiro looked at her, and grinned, "You can bet on it."
Tsubasa smiled back, and the two stood there in a comfortable silence, until the girl spoke up, "Oh, and before I forget."
Shinjiro watched as she reached into her handbag and brought out a ticket, "I'll be having a live concert in two weeks, and I wanted to give this to you."
The teen took the ticket, "A live concert? After such a short amount of time?"
Tsubasa nodded, "Well, I can't really stay idle for a long time. So while the music festival is only 10 days away I managed to get them to give me a slot. And besides, I did cancel my live concert a while back when I got hospitalised. So it'll sort of be a replacement for that. "
Shinjiro nodded, "I see..."
The girl chuckled, "It won't be as extravagant as the one we planned to have though, but well, you work with what you get."
The teen nodded, and he looked at the ticket, before he blinked, "Tsubasa, isn't this place..."
He trailed off, and the girl nodded, "Yes. Yes it is."
Shinjiro looked at her, "Are you okay with this?"
Tsubasa smiled, "Of course. Yes, it's a place that holds bad memories for me, but, I don't want to always be tied to the past. It's time I stepped past that."
The teen nodded, "You can and you will."
The girl nodded, "I also plan to give Tachibana and Kohinata a ticket, but well, that can wait until tomorrow I guess."
(Linebreak)
A few days later, in that very stadium, Tsubasa had just finished her rehearsal.
Shinji spoke as he wore his glasses, "That went better than I expected."
Tsubasa nodded, and she was about to respond when the sound of clapping reached their ears, and they noticed a bald and bearded man walking to them.
Shinji blinked, "Tony Glazer?"
Tsubasa looked at her manager, "Tony Glazer?"
The man nodded, "He's the producer for Metro Music. He's one of the few people who offered you that international project."
Tony nodded, "Indeed I did, and I'm not lying when I say it's a waste to not have you go onto the international stages. But your managers just wouldn't agree to my offer, so I decided to come here personally. Awesome rehearsal, by the way."
Shinji looked at him, "Mr Glazer, while we appreciate you coming here personally, it'd be better if we discussed this more on our official-"
He was cut off when Tsubasa raised her arm, and the man blinked, "Tsubasa-san?"
The girl glanced at him, before looking at the producer, "Do you mind if you gave me a bit more time?"
Tony gained a glimpse of a smile, "I suppose you're reconsidering, yes?"
Tsubasa nodded, and the producer studied her eyes a bit more, before smiling softly, "Those eyes, I see you have something worth fighting for now."
Shinji stared at him and spoke with a warning tone, "Mr Glazer..."
He trailed off, and the bald man chuckled, "I know, I know. I'm not supposed to talk about her other job, yes?"
The girl simply stayed silent, knowing all too well than to reveal anything. While an honest man, as well as one of the few people outside of Section 2 and the government who actually knew of her duties as a Symphogear user, Tony Glazer, was in the end, still a businessman, after all.
Tony let out a breath, "And that is also another reason why I've been so adamant in getting you onto the international stages. But that aside..."
He looked at Tsubasa, "I look forward to whatever answer you have for me. Not to mention, your live concert in a few days."
Tsubasa simply nodded, before the man turned to leave the backstage.

A few days later, Shinjiro and Miku were lining up outside the stadium. It was a familiar feeling, considering both of them had done the same a few years ago.
Of course, this time there wasn't a relic nearby, so they didn't need to worry about another attack at the stadium. But that didn't include other places.
As Shinjiro queued, his phone rang, and he picked up the call, "Hello, commander?"
"Shinjiro-kun, I'd hate to ask this of you now... But, cluster of Noises just appeared, and we need you to head over to clear them out. Moroboshi-kun's already on his way, and I'll contact Hibiki-kun and Tsubasa after this."
The teen nodded, before he spoke, "Wait, don't call Tsubasa."
Genjuro's voice came back, "Why?"
Shinjiro spoke, "Tonight's important for her, and I want her to really finish her concert tonight."
The commander of Section 2 nodded, "I understand. Then the three of you will handle the Noises, is that okay?"
The Ultraman nodded, "Of course."
Genjuro nodded, "Good, then get going."
With that said, the man cut off the call, and Shinjiro glanced at Miku, "Sorry, something came up and I need to handle it. Hibiki'll be with me too."
Miku immediately understood, and she nodded, "Got it, be careful, okay?"
Shinjiro nodded, and he ran off to look for an empty and secluded alley. He quickly donned his armor and shot up to the sky, flying for the coordinates Genjuro had sent him.
It took him less than 10 minutes to reach there, and Shinjiro spotted the massive army of Noises, along with Hibiki and Moroboshi at a distance. But that wasn't all he saw.
In the middle the army of Noises, there stood Chris, using her gatling guns raining fire upon the Noises. Unfortunately, for every dozen Noises she took down, two dozens took their place, and their sizes seeming increase for every one that fell.
The girl growled as the ever increasing numbers and sizes of Noises surrounded her, and she barely noticed the massive Noise that somehow crept behind her. But she was a tad bit too late, as it was already upon her.
Fortunately, she didn't need to do anything, as two bladed rings of light struck it down, before a beam of light shot down from above her, and wiped out a wave of the Noises.
Chris looked up, just in time to see Shinjiro landing on the ground in front of her. The girl frowned and opened her mouth to speak, only to realize there was a shadow over her.
Yet again, she didn't need to do anything, as a familiar voice yelled behind them, and the Noise got blasted to pieces, revealing Hibiki standing behind the remains of the Noise, her fist extended.
At the same time, Seven landed on the ground, throwing several Eye Slugger knives that took down several more Noises.
Shinjiro looked at the girl, "You good?"
The girl huffed and blasted a few more Noises away, "Of course! Now stop talking and focus!"
Hibiki beamed as she punched down a few Noises, "Alright let's do this!"
Moroboshi stared at them, and simply sighed as he swung his Spacium katana, launching another wave of energy that decimated a wave of Noises, 'Kids these days...'
Shinjiro fired several more Ultra Slash rings, before using the Spacium Ray to wipe out an entire wave of Noises, only to have more take their place, "They don't seem to end!"
Chris clicked her teeth as she unleased a wave of missiles from her skirt armor, "Yeah?! Thanks for telling us! Didn't notice, Captain Obvious!"
Hibiki smiled as she punched into the ground, sending a shockwave that wiped out a dozen moderately sized Noises.
Moroboshi simply cut down more of them, before he frowned, "This is getting nowhere..." 'What happened to have Finé summon so many Noises?'
He glanced at Chris, "Hey, girl! What is Finé planning?"
The user of Ichaival glanced at the Seven armor for a moment, before continued to rain fire upon the Noises, "Hell if I know! Haven't seen her in days!"
Moroboshi frowned and spoke into his comms as he cut down a few more Noises, "Commander, the numbers aren't dropping at all. At this rate, I'm afraid we'll burn out before we can even get through half of these."
Genjuro's voice came back, obviously looking at the radar, "Hmm, this is a problem."
Ryoko's voice sounded from the comms, "Actually, I think I know why they're so many Noises there."
Shinjiro blinked as he kicked down a few other Noises, "Really?"
The woman nodded, looking at the radar, "Yep. The reason there's so many Noises there, is because there are other Noises remaining. It is said that the Cane of Solomon can be used summon Noises remotely, as long as there are some Noises in the area."
Hibiki grunted as she punched down a few Noises, "And how do we deal with this?"
Ryoko nodded, "Simple. Wipe them out all at once."
Moroboshi frowned, "Unfortunately, Sakurai-san, I don't see how we can do that."
The woman smirked, "Ah but we do have a way. Shinjiro-kun has recently discovered his suit's limiter release function."
Shinjiro cut down another massive Noise with his Spacium blades, "You think it's possible to wipe em all out with just me alone?"
Ryoko considered the thought, "Hmm, you'll have three minutes to try. So why not?"
Shinjiro frowned, "But I'll be out of the fight as soon as the time limit runs out."
Hibiki glanced at him, "Don't worry, Shinjiro-san! We'll protect you if it fails!"
Moroboshi sighed, "Unfortunately, that's how it'll be I suppose."
Chris frowned as she heard their conversation, not knowing what the hell they were discussing.
Shin's voice sounded through the comms, "Shinjiro, it's your choice. It'll immobilise you after that, but I believe it's worth a try."
The teen frowned, kicking down a few more Noises, which were quickly replaced by a dozen more, "Ah fuck it!"
Shinjiro shot out two more Ultra Slash rings, before jumping back to put some distance between himself and the army, "Alright... LIMITER OFF!"
Immediately, his HUD showed an animation of the limiter releasing, and his output tripled, releasing a bright red aura around his body as the locks around the Spacium core loosened.
At the same time, the tell tale sound of the core's beeping reached everyone's ears, and Chris glanced at Shinjiro as she kept firing, "Hey Shinjiro! You okay? Isn't that the signal that warns you of injuries or something?"
Shinjiro shook his head as he took a step forward, power surging through his entire body, "No. It's a signal alright... A signal that's telling me to finish everything in 3 minutes."
The teen readied himself. In the next instant, he vanished, only to reappear behind a battalion of Noises, and they all dispersed into carbon dust.
Shinjiro then looked at the massive army before him, and he shot up straight into the sky, placing his arms in the famous t shaped position. He took a deep breath, and pulled his arm down, letting out a strong roar.
Before Hibiki, Moroboshi and Chris, a Spacium Ray larger than any they've ever seen engulfed the entire army of Noises, including the conveniently abandoned factory behind them.
The beam quickly died down, revealing nothing but a massive crater. Shinjiro let out a deep breath, before he quickly descended to the ground, falling to one knee.
Hibiki gaped at the destruction Shinjiro had wrought upon the land, before she ran over excitedly, "Shinjiro-san! That was awesome!"
Moroboshi stared at the outcome, his jaw tightening, 'Is this the power of the Spacium core from the suit itself, or did he add anything to it?'
He had been fully prepared to step in and help, but Moroboshi didn't need to. Shinjiro had been everywhere all at once for the first 5 seconds, before he fired the massive beam. If that was the full amount of power Shinjiro held, then Moroboshi didn't like it.
Especially because it would be very easy for others to manipulate that idiot into doing unspeakable things. The only good thing was that both the suit and the teen would be useless after 3 minutes.
As the bespectacled man's mind raced through all those thoughts, Chris, on the other hand, frowned. She knew Shinjiro was strong, but not to this extent. And to be honest, she was terrified.
If this was what she would face, then she'd rather run away. And considering that there were no more Noises, that was exactly what she did.
Moroboshi obviously caught that, and moved to stop her, only to hear a loud thud, followed by Hibiki's worried voice, "Shinjiro-san!"
The man turned towards that direction to see Shinjiro collapsed on the ground, with Hibiki panicking over him, and Moroboshi turned back to Chris, only to find her long gone.
He clicked his teeth in annoyance, before he went to help Shinjiro.

Meanwhile, above the clouds, Bemular watched the entire scene unfold, and he frowned behind his armor, "Releasing the limiter on the Spacium core, huh?"
The silver and blue alien looked down on Shinjiro, 'If he progresses at this rate, then he might be actually of use.'
He closed his eyes, before he vanished within the clouds.
XXX
DONE. So yeah, that's the 9th chapter done.
I kind of glanced through Tsubasa's concert, but in exchange, we got to see Shinjiro's Limiter Released mode. So I guess that's fine.
So yeah, the next few chapters will be moving towards the end of season 1 for this story.
Read and review please.
Until then.
