The get together at my house was fun. They all played Truth Dare Situation,2 truths and a lie and 7 minutes in a closet.

Izzy-"So now what? Spin the bottle?"

Jace-"I think everyone here is committed so no one will really like kissing each other's partner."

Izzy-"Ohh c'mon Jace. Dont be a spoil sport."

Jace-"Fine"

We played spin the bottle too.

Sebastian-"Dude I am hungry..."

Clary-"I'll get nachos and cold drinks."

Simon-"Bring some yogurt too for me."

Clary-"All right sir..anything else?"

Simon-"That'll be all ma'am thanks for asking."

Izzy-"Ohhh Simon shut it."

I went down to get food. As soon as I came back to my room Alec stood up.

Alec-"I wanted to make an announcement."

Jace-"Go ahead bro"

Alec-"I know it will be weird to take it but I am dating Magnus."

Izzy-"Alec we know."

Alec-"You do?"

Simon-"C'mon bro we grew up together. We can see the way you look at him. Its like you love him."

Alec-"I actually do."

Clary-"God I was wishing when you'd bring up this topic. So tell me how it all started and who made a move first?"

Alec-"It was him. He used to copy my History work and I let him. Then we started hanging out. Then 3 days before he kissed me. I kissed him back and now I guess we are a thing."

Sebastian-"So basically you both bonded over history...strange but cute."

Jace-"I am really happy for you dude. Now that leaves only Simon single."

Simon-"Actually I am also dating someone. Its Maureen."

Izzy-"Awww Simon thats adorable."

Clary-"It sure is."

Simon-"Thanks guys."

Alec-"So everyone's committed."

Clary-"Mmmhmmmm. Hey Alec invite Magnus too. And Simon invite Maureen. The more the merrier."

Izzy-"Yes go on."

Alec and Simon called up Magnus and Maureen.

Simon-"Maureen's coming in 15 minutes."

Alec-"Magnus too."

Jace-"So what do we do for 15 minutes."

Izzy-"I dont know, maybe we could-"

The doorbell rang.

Sebastian-"Weren't they coming in 15 minutes?"

Clary-"I'll see who is it."

I opened the door. It was my mom and my dad along with Jon.

Clary-"Gosh I wasn't expecting you guys."

I hugged them. They hugged me back.

Valentine-"How have you been kiddo?"

Clary-"Great dad. You?"

Valentine-"Never better."

Clary-"And mom how are you?"

Jocelyn-"I am good Clare."

Jon-"Not gonna ask me how was I?"

Clary-"You are always good."

Jon-"That I am."

Clary-"Mom dad I invited my friends over for a get together. Is it fine?"

Jocelyn-"Sure sweetie but we actually need to talk about something."

Clary-"I am sure they'll respect our privacy."

Valentine-"So Clary that day I told you that me and your mom are splitting up. We came to ask you that are you okay with that decision?"

Clary-"Dad does any child becomes happy on knowing that their parents are getting divorced."

Jocelyn-"I know Clary. We should have told you earlier but-"

Clary-"Mom I know you are very busy in the office and you hardly even talk to me so what difference will my decision make?"

Jocelyn-"I just didn't know how to face you. Also Everything going on with Luke and his family there were many problems and-"

Clary(crying)-"And did you ever think about the problems I faced? I literally cried for an hour everyday wishing my parents were like other parents who would at least spend a little time with their kids. But that never came. You were always busy with your office work and your affairs that you forgot you had 2 children to make up to. I dont know about Jon but I think you are the most selfish people in the whole world. If you really didn't care about us so why did you have children? To make them so miserable and unhappy?"

As soon as I said it I regretted it. But the words had already come out of my mouth.

Valentine-"Clary...I um... I didn't know you needed us. To tell you the truth we were ashamed of us as well. We thought you both deserved better and would be better off without us."

Jon-"C'mon dad what kind of children want their parents to stay away from them."

Jocelyn-"Clary if you would have told this earlier we would have payed more attention to you."

Clary-"I am sorry I said that but it is the truth mom. I was literally alone everyday. When I was growing and I needed you the most during my hormonal changes you weren't there. I had so many mood swings. I kept bottling up my feelings. And now I am scared of bringing new people into my life because I am scared that they'll abandon me too and I dont think I would be able to take it."

Valentine-"Clare we are very sorry we couldn't be better parents. I wish you would have shared this with us earlier and we would have discussed it out. Do you think you'll let us start over again?"

Jocelyn-"Yes..we promise we'll be better parents from now on. We'll be the parents you always wanted us to be."

Clary-"I think we can. But aren't you and dad splitting up?"

Valentine-"Look Clary...the thing is I dont think I could keep your mom happy. I dont want her to feel suffocated in this relationship. I think its best that she marries the person she loves."

Jocelyn-"Ya clary. I think we both will be happier apart."

Jon-"I think I understand. It will be sad at first but we will move on later."

Jocelyn-"Yes and we'll still be your parents. We'll visit you three to four times a week and have family dinners."

Clary-"I understand mom. And i'll be fine. It will just take some time to move on."

Valentine-"Thank you Clary..it means a lot really."

Jocelyn-"Yes Clare. Also Luke treats you like his own child only. He keeps on asking me when do I get to meet Clary and Jon? I always say later."

Valentine-"Yup..Maria too keeps on asking about you two."

Clary-"Well then lets meet them. How about we all celebrate Halloween together?"

Jocelyn-"But its day after tomorrow. I'll ask them if they can come here in time."

Valentine-"So what do you guys want on Halloween?"

Jon-"I need Pennywise's mask."

Valentine-"Done. Clary?"

Clary-"I guess i'll go with Anabelle's costume."

Jocelyn-"Never too old to go trick or treating right?"

Jon-"Yup."

Jace-"Ahem ahem..."

Clary-"How long were you standing there?"

Jace-"A few minutes I guess. And before you yell at me it was Alec's idea. He was the one who asked me why is Clary taking so much time?"

Izzy-"Ya so we decided to come and see. Ohh and we really didn't mean to eavesdrop Mr. Fairchild."

Valentine-"I guess not kiddo. So Clary care to introduce us to your friends."

Clary-"Right...dad this is Simon,Alec and Izzy my besties. This is Sebastian Izzy's boyfriend. And this is Jace."

Simon-"Jace is Clary's boyfriend."

Clary-"Thanks a lot Simon...asshole."

Simon-"Heeheehee"

Valentine(shaking hands with Jace)-So young man you are dating my daughter huh..."

Jace-"Yes sir."

Valentine-"Good. But first let me tell you something. Dont you dare break my daughter's heart. Second no touching without consent. Third no drugs and drinks. Got it?"

Jace-"Yes sir. Totally got it."

Valentine-"Good. So what are your hobbies?"

Jocelyn-"Oh c'mon Val...why are taking his interview?"

Valentine-"Well I need to see his likes and dislikes because he's dating my daughter."

Jace-"I like playing football Mr. Fairchild. Also I like reading books."

Valentine-"Hmmm...which kind of books?"

Clary-"Dad...anyway there are 2 more people coming."

Valentine-"We'll continue this later boy."

Jace-"All right sir."

Again the doorbell rang. It was Magnus and Maureen.

Magnus-"Hey there biscuit."

Clary-"Yo bro. Come on in."

Maureen-"Hey Clary. Thanks for inviting me."

Clary-"No problem M. Come on."

I introduced them to my parents as well.

Clary-"Dad this is Magnus Alec's boyfriend."

Jocelyn-"Awwww gay couple... so adorable."

Clary-"And this is Maureen Simon's girlfriend."

Valentine-"Nice to meet you Maureen."

Maureen-"You too Mr. Fairchild."

Valentine-"So you guys enjoy kids. Your mom and I will go to the movies or something and then see you tonight Clary. Have fun kiddos."

Clary-"Bye mom bye dad."

Jon-"I'll also head out sis. I have an exam coming up and I need to study. So i'll go back to my college right now."

Clary-"Sure. See you day after tomorrow?"

Jon-"Yup..Love you little sis."

Clary-"Love you too."

They all left.

Jace-"What a nice family reunion. I am happy for you Clare that you sorted it out."

Clary-"Thanks."

I felt nice. There was a ray of hope somewhere. I now felt complete. My mom and dad made me complete. I love them.
