A/N: The story takes place in Chicago Fire around season 2 when Gabby was at the academy. I decided to make it so that Mills left during this time because if he hadn't there wouldn't be a place for Tali at the firehouse. Ziva had been around 21 when she first showed and concluded that between her and Tali there is a 4 year gap. Meaning that in Season 6/7 Ziva is around 24-25. I made that gap smaller for 2 years. Meaning Tali is 22-23. Anyway let's get back to the story : )

In the Trunk:
Tali was starting to come to, and she noticed she was in the trunk of a car. She started hyperventilating when she felt she was tied up. They then opened the trunk, and Tali used both legs to kick one of the men.
"Lezazel! You bitch!" Said the first man as he backhanded her. They dragged her out into a warehouse and tied her down to a chair. Tali opened her eyes again to see a man she knew all too well. The sun that was starting to rise accentuated this man's figure.

As Tali came to, she recognized the man immediately. Eli David, her father.
Conversation in Hebrew;
" Shalom Tali, we meet again. You see you and Ziva were my best Mossad Agents, but you left. Of course you being so young, are rebelling against your father. Anyways I am here to take you back to Israel. Knowing you though, it will be difficult. I was hoping these fine men could shake some sense into you. I don't really care what they do but it will be effective." The man stood and brushed a hair away from her cheek. Shalom, Tali, I will see you back in Tel Aviv." That was all that came out of his mouth as he exited the warehouse. The two men came up to her and the first man spoke.
(Still in Hebrew) " You will pay for when you threw the knife at me and for kicking me you bitch!" Shouted the man. The second man brought up a machine. Since Tali didn't have her shirt, because she had put it in the laundry basket when they attacked, she could feel the cool air, they were near some sort of body of water. The first man traced his finger around each of her breasts, along her collarbone, and down her stomach.
" Come with us and we promise not to hurt your loved ones, I heard Ziva became a citizen yes? What about Severide and Shay? Heard she wanted a kid so Severide complied, wanted to give his gay best friend the best thing he could." Shouted the second man.
" Go to hell!" Shouted Tali.
" Don't worry, we'll give you something to remember." Said the first man. He grabbed a pointed sort of pen, attached to the machine with wires.
" What if we wrote, Saleem, was it? The man who beat you. I think you would love it." Continued the first man. Tali squirmed in the chair, her chest heaving heavily. The second man turned the voltage of the "pen" like thing to 250. It started making a buzzing sound and they started writing 'Saleem' under Tali's right breast on her stomach. The shouts and screams could be heard throughout the warehouse. Tali had passed out from the pain, and when she did they stopped the 'tattoo'. They wanted her to feel the pain, conscious, not unconscious or else what would the point be. They had only been able to write a capital 'S'. They wanted her to be conscious when they wrote Saleem but they could write something else if they wanted. So they did. The men both decided to draw a Star of David as if to mock her. They wrote it on her left shoulder blade. They got a call so they had to leave. She heard them leave and knew she had to do something. She leaned forwards and threw herself backwards causing the chair to break. How foolish! Tali thought. The men only tied her to the chair. When she broke out of it, only handcuffs were left on her hands. She easily picked them with a bobby pin she had in her pant pocket. She looked around and found a crowbar. Hearing footsteps at the door, Tali waited patiently next to it and ¡BAM! She smacked the first man, he fell to the ground, and she snapped his neck. The second man tackled her to the ground, they struggled. He threw some punches, and backed Tali up against the wall and dislocated her dominant hand's shoulder. Tali clutched her right arm. She managed to kick him once before he took a knife out and stabbed her. She had pivoted so he stabbed directly on the 'S' they had marked her with and she fell, clutching her side.
Meanwhile:
The NCIS team had set up at the fire station conference room. Chief Boden had come to like Tali and wanted to cooperate as best as he could to help her. All of Tali's coworkers had been interviewed but didn't know exactly why yet. After they were all interviewed, they were brought together.
"Tali is my sister, and she has disappeared. The only person that comes to mind right now is Eli David. We both used to work under him, he was our Mossad Director." Explained Ziva.
"We felt you all might want to know considering you all work for her." Gibbs said
"Uh boss? A satellite phone that was registered in Tel Aviv has just come on. It is an old abandoned warehouse at 5114 S Racine, Chicago, IL 60609." Said McGee. They all strapped their guns on and headed out to the location. Before they went though they asked if the paramedics could follow just in case. They go to the warehouse a few minutes with the ambulance in tow, Shay and Brett. As they got out a shot rang through the warehouse.
In the warehouse:
As Tali fell to the ground she grasped at the knife. The man had pulled a gun out, he knew he would get in trouble because killing her was not the plan but he had just had enough. After all she had also killed his brother. When he pointed the gun at her she used what little strength she had left and smacked it out of his hands, picked it up and shot him. Right. In. The. Heart. She dropped the gun and started slipping in and out of consciousness. She saw Ziva's face as well as Gibbs and his team. She then saw Shay and Brett walk in.
"Get me packing!" half shouted Brett. Shay then went ahead and connected her to the monitor. She had lost a lot of blood and was close to dying. When a flatline was heard Shay shouted,
"Charge to 100...CLEAR!" She finished as Tali's body thumped. They tried two more times and carried her out to the ambulance. The two dead men didn't go unnoticed though. They rushed her to the hospital.
A/N: Let us pretend that this hospital is Grey Sloan Memorial hospital. Pretend it is the hospital she's being taken to but the location doesn't matter. Just pretend it is like 5-10 mins away thanks. Back to the story XD.
Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital:
As they unloaded her out of the ambulance Shay spoke,
"22 year old female, multiple beatings and cuts, blunt force trauma to the head, torso and legs, dislocated right shoulder. Multiple stab wounds to the abdomen. Possible broken ribs. Name is Tali David." The paramedics handed her off to April Kepner, Miranda Bailey, and Meredith Grey.
A/N: Alright folks I am also a hardcore Grey's Anatmoy fan besides an obvious NCIS and Chicago Fire fan. Besides these I am also a huge fan of Criminal Minds and that was where I got the idea for the machine with voltage. Anyways what I wanted to say was that I might get technical with the doctor terms. I am basically a surgeon, I mean I have rewatched all the shows and I know almost everything so yea. This was long enough back to the story lol.
( Miranda Bailey: Chief of Surgery and a general surgeon, Meredith Grey: also a general surgeon, April Kepner: Trauma Surgeon, Callie Torres: Orthopedic surgeon aka bones, Amelia Shepherd: Neurosurgeon)
"What the hell did this poor girl go through? She's barely an adult." Spoke Bailey.
"Alright let's get her into Trauma room 2. Page Nuero and Ortho for a consult. Alright on my cound; 1, ,2 ,3" Said Kepner as they transferred her onto the bed. They started cutting her clothes off.
"Miss David can you hear me? My name is Meredith Grey don't worry you're at the hospital we are going to help you." Grey paused and then continued. "Alright give me a portable ultrasound and an x-ray." They took an x-ray of Tali and she had a sprained ankle, dislocated right shoulder and the knife had penetrated a small portion of her liver, luckly not a lot. They noticed that she had free fluid in her abdomen so they would have to get her up to the O.R.. Amelia Shepherd then walked in and gave her a consult before heading up. She concluded that Tali had a mild concussion but besides that she was lucky. Torres had done a quick consult and popped the shoulder back in and had said she would wrap it and put a sling on after the surgery. They rushed Tali up to the O.R.
While all of this was happening, Gibbs and his team made it to the hospital. They found Doctor Richard Webber.
"We're looking for a patient, Tali David, she is my sister do you know where she is?!" Shouted Ziva.
"You are going to have to ask a nurse sorry." Replied Richard. Ziva moved her hand as if to reach for her gun while taking a half step forward when Tony stopped her.
"Ziva, stand down." Said Tony. She backed off and then they proceeded to ask a nurse. They sent them up to the O.R.'s waiting room. Gibbs called Chief Boden letting him know that Tali was now safe and in surgery. He told them at what hospital they were at and which floor they could meet at. When they hung up, Chief Boden as well as the rest of the 2nd shift, everyone who worked with Tali, headed over too. They might have known her for only about a month and a half, but they cared for her.
O.R. 7:
On the way into the O.R., Tali coded in the elevator.
"Push 1 of Epi NOW!, and charge to 100….CLEAR!" Said Grey, fortunately, it only took one try and Tali was back. They rushed into the O.R. and put her under.
"10 blade" Demanded Bailey as she cut Tali's abdomen more, they removed the knife."
. peep peep peep. Peep peep.
The beeping noise intensified. They had a bleeder from the liver.
"Sponge..more...keep the songs coming! And hang two more units of blood now!" Kepner demanded. Grey clamped the bleeder and proceeded to stitch up the liver.
"3-0 Prolene...clamp...more suction...bovie please, alright irrigation." Said Grey as she reattached the liver back together with the help of Bailey. Kepner focused on the small bleeders and pieces of glass on Tali.
"Irrigation….clamp...sponge...more irrigation...clamp and bovie...tray." Kepner said every few seconds. Around an hour or two later, they took her up to the ICU while the three women went to inform the family.
"Family for a Tali David." Said Grey. Gibbs and his team, but also all the firefighters gathered around.
"She sure is popular." Said Bailey with that oh so Bailey look.
"Um I-we can only discuss with her family sorry." Apologized Kepner. Ziva stepped up and they led her to the side.
"We were able to fix the bleeders, she has a concussion which we will monitor as well as her liver. Dr. Grey and I stitched it up while Dr. Kepner worked on the glass and bleeders. Dr. Torres will come by soon to consult on her shoulder and ankle. Besides all of this she is fine and in the ICU. She was very malnourished and also quite tired. Anyways, she might not wake up for a bit. You can see her in a bit." Finished Bailey.
"I will be monitoring her hourly just to make sure everything goes well." Said Dr. Grey.
"Toda lal!"(Thank god) Said Ziva as she let a stray tear fall. She hugged the three doctors and headed back to Gibbs and the firefighters. They all stood up as they saw her approaching.
"She, she is fine and in the ICU." Ziva said as she was pulled into a hug by her teammates and she started sobbing. All of the firefighters and the paramedics sighed in relief. After a while Ziva headed to Tali's room.
A/N: I really liked Mark Sloan so I decided to bring him and Lexi back from the dead yay! So Lexi went to study elsewhere because they broke up...again. Anywho this is just in between and after like a few months they will be together, you'll see. Ok let's continue.
Tali had been hooked up to a bunch of monitors and she had many cuts and bruises on her face. Torres had been in the room a while ago, took a look at Tali's ankle and her shoulder and found that all was good. When the room came into view, Ziva saw a man with broad shoulders leaning over Tali. Mark Sloan. Now I know what you are thinking, is he the man she slept with and fought with? No, that was another man who was also named Mark. Anywho. Ziva walked in and saw that he was stitching up Tali's cuts on her face, one running threw her eyebrow, and another from her jaw running down a bit. He put in new stitches for her cut on her neck. He also added stitches to her arm. Tali was awake but had just said a few words to Sloan. Mostly a 'no painkillers' and a 'can I go home I am fine'. Sloan saw someone walk in and turned around.
"Whoa, are you guys like twins? Might I just say you are both extremely beautiful." Said Mark as he took his gloves off to shake Ziva's hand.
"Mark Sloan, plastics." He said.
"Ziva. David. Yes, I am Tali's sister and NCIS."
"Ahh I see, well I had heard a bit of accent from Tali here, and from you now too, might I say it is beautiful." Mark said and made Ziva chuckle. He could see she had been crying so he thought it was good that he got her to laugh or well chuckle at least.
Tali swallowed and then spoke, "Ziva, why are you here?"
"Man ashs, Tali, hadagat eothi."(For God's sake, you had me worried) Said Ziva in Hebrew and Tali answered in Hebrew too.
"Ani bsder shla heit tricha lbua, Ziva."(I am fine, you should not have come, Ziva)
"Thnoach, ani chan achshio az ttamodd am sh."(Rest, I am here now so deal with it) Replied Ziva.
"Toda, Ziva." Thanked Tali. Ziva sat next to her and held her hand. Weeks would go by, and the pain would be through the roof sometimes, but Tali would still refuse the painkillers. Around a month later, she was moved out of the ICU into a normal patient room. She had talked with Gibbs, Tony, McGee, and Abby had even come down with Ducky and Jimmy. SHe hadn't heard from her father in a while and she liked it. Severide and the rest of her coworkers had come by to see her but she had been ashamed and embarrassed. Sloan would continuously flirt with her and Ziva. Tony did not like it, he had feelings for Ziva, but Tali didn't mind. Gibbs came in one night with a serious expression.
"We need to talk, Talia." He said seriously.
A/N: Ok so I really didn't know how to end this chapter lol but I will leave it like this. I tried to not get too technical with the medical stuff so you could understand. I really hope you liked it, I have checked my reviews and I got like 2 or 3 new ones but they don't show up. I don't know why. It only shows the first 5 so hopefully it will be fixed soon.
