The Girl in the Woods (Short Version)

It was the late 990s and the Mikaelson family were living peacefully in Mystic Falls. This all changes when they find a mysterious girl in the woods and bring her home to live with them. Despite being a complete stranger, she seems to know a lot about them and their past. In turn, they are each drawn to her in different ways, some more dangerously than others. Elijah/OC/Klaus.

Part 9 – Miscellaneous Scenes

This part is a series of miscellaneous scenes and quotes and other details that I would include in the story.

~FAITH QUOTES~

"Niklaus Mikaelson, you are a coward," she looked venomously at him. "Sure, you're the big bad wolf that riiiips out people's hearts." She emphasized "rips" sarcastically. "But when something takes real and true courage, when something is hard, when you need to be fearless, you run away like the coward you are." She spits the word coward out feeling disgusted.

"Elijah Mikaelson, I love you," she said with eyes shining brightly. Her was smile was beautiful. Hearing the words that he was waiting for, he felt utter joy! He lifted her up and swung her around. The women he loved, loved him!

Anna is alive in this story. She managed to get away before the attack and now is part of the Mystic Falls gang.

Bonnie x Damon

Bonnie and Damon are in a love-hate relationship. Ever since the beginning, they have constantly taken a dislike to each other, arguing and being sarcastic with one another. But beneath it all lied a growing attraction to each other. Damon liked her spunk and courage in standing up to him. he likes how she can be strong and stubborn yet beautiful and kind and caring. He loves how she can unselfishly put others before herself and see the good in others. Bonnie is attracted to Damon's "bad boy" attitude. He challenges her and makes her question the things she does. More than that, she starts to fall for him as she begins to see who he really is inside. Discovering his vulnerabilities and brokenness, she desires to protect and heal him.

Stephen x Elena

Elena was never turned into a vampire. She remains in love with Stephen.

Caroline x Klaus

Their relationship is as you see in TVD.

Caroline x Kol

Inspired by the interactions between Caroline and Kol in the fanfiction trailer, Rumor has it ( watch?v=9QwARTT7HE4&t=3s).

Their relationship is fun and playful. Caroline can be serious and a stickler for organization and the rules. Kol comes into their relationship playful. He teases her to see there's more to life than being organized. That life can be spontaneous, fun, and amazing.

~SCENE~

Faith spends Girls' Night with the Mystic Fall gang. At one point in the night, they end up asking random questions of each other. Faith is tasked to describe the vampires in one word or sentence.

"Elijah is kind. Even when it's at his expense…"

"Klaus is fearless despite him feeling afraid."

"Rebecca is strong even when she thinks she's not. There's a strength in her, an inner and outer strength and beauty."

"Kol is mischievous…"

"Stephen is gentle even when he feels like he's a monster."

~SCENE~

Faith is heartbroken and is dragged out to Girl's Night Out. They go clubbing and cuts the line at a club by using compulsion. They drink and dance all night long. Faith is drunk and goes wild. She is seen as dancing to Killing Strangers. She snaps her head left and right, dancing to the beat of the song. The people with her tries to stop her from drinking too much and going too wild but she refused to listen to anybody. Eventually, she is brought home. The girls knock on the door of the Salvatore house and it is opened by Stephen and Damon. They see Faith looking disheveled and rambling on drunkenly. She walks into the house tipsily and almost falls before being caught by Damon and Stephen to each side. She looks close to passing out.

Damon scowls at the girls and asked annoyingly, "How did you let her get this drunk?!"

~SCENE~

She could not stand the way he was looking at her. He was looking at her like an enemy. A cold ruthless merciless gaze and it was turned at her. She could feel it. He would not hesitate to kill her

For the first time since she arrived in this world, Faith felt truly afraid of vampires.

~SCENE~

"I'll treasure it."

Her words rung loudly in his ears. Her beautiful face filled with joy was impressed into his mind.

Control yourself. He rebuked himself. There's a line that cannot be crossed.

He watched her as she examined his gift.

"Because you are precious to that person." He muttered under his breath.

~SCENE~

Elijah and Faith dancing to the Punchline song ( watch?v=Cc7PTPZg0GY).

He twirls her then pulls her back to him, their bodies touching, his hands firmly grasping hers. Their bodies swayed to the beat and her dress twirling as they waltzed around the dance floor.

Elijah needed to go and protect his family.

As he headed out, he caught his reflection on a mirror.

Why do you look delighted at the thought of vengeance and violence? His inner demon taunted him.

Be honest and admit it Elijah. The voice in his head continued. You're simply pursuing your own joy under the excuse of protecting your family.

~SCENE~

Faith and Niklaus was sitting out of sight but they could hear Mikael's and Esther's conversation. They were talking about Niklaus. Mikael was cursing his son and saying all sorts of horrible things about him. Faith noticed Niklaus' eyes start to tear up and she couldn't stand it anymore. She came face to face with Niklaus and covered his ears.

"You don't have to listen to this." She looked at him with compassion and he knew that she understood his pain.

~SCENE~

Faith tells Rebekah stories about the future where women can choose to be anything they wanted to be. They can be strong, independent women. These stories captivated Rebekah and she held on to every word that came from Faith's mouth.

~SCENE~

She sighed. Why was he so handsome?

She looked into his dreamy eyes. At times dreamy, at times sharp and piercing as if they could see right through you.

~TRIVIA~

Vampires don't feel like drinking Faith's blood. There's no allure or temptation to drink from her at all. Her blood is the cure. They drink her blood then with her blood in their system they have to die. When they wake up, they have to drink vampire blood. Basically, everything in reverse.

Faith cries when she is angry which is frustrating cause she doesn't want to appear weak.

Faith wears a carved wooden necklace everywhere. It was a necklace given to her by Elijah and was carved by Niklaus. On one side was a carving of the words Faithful and True and on the other side is a carving of an oak tree with a wolf. Even when dressed formally, she never took it off. In fact, when someone had attempted to take it off, saying it did not match her outfit, she had slapped their hand away.

During Elijah's and Faith's first kiss, Faith forgets to breathe almost passes out. Elijah ended up shaking her awake in panic.
