The morning was calm and still as the sun rose over Trollstopia. The only sounds you could hear at first were the songbirds chirping and the light breeze rustling the leaves in the trees. Suddenly, music began to play in the center of town. Poppy was strumming her ukelele, Branch was playing the drums, Barb was shredding her own guitar, Delta clicked her hooves as she played her banjo, King Quincy played his bass guitar. Essence casually blew her huge horn at the same time, Trollex was pressing buttons and dropping beats on his DJ set, and Trollzart was conducting the group with his baton. While they did that, Aggie was dancing as she played her keytar while Melody danced with her while holding a microphone in her hand, preparing to sing. As they kept dancing, McJagger, Laguna, Sid, Holly, Evie, Low-Note Jones, Rhythm, and Blues were dancing along with them, ready to sing as well. A crowd of trolls began to gather and cheered in excitement to see another fun performance go down.

The crowd cheered and applauded the group for a great performance as everyone bowed in appreciation. Aggie twirled her keytar while saying, "Man, that was so much fun," as Melody added, "It was! I love a good sing-along in the morning. Gets the blood pumping." McJagger came over, saying, "Which is a good thing since dancing is a fun and excellent form of exercise. Help keeps a troll fit and makes them happy." Aggie and Melody both thought that his fact was adorable as Melody commented, "Aw! Our first medical fact of the day. What's next? A side of health statistics"? At that moment, Laguna joined up, standing beside McJagger as she stated, "Note: trolls who exercise through the practice of dancing, no matter the style or type, increases their life expectancy by 73%." Aggie and Melody both broke into laughter as Aggie commented, "There it is. Now, we're full of facts for the day." McJagger and Laguna ended up breaking into laughter as well until a RUMBLE got everyone's attention. Seeing Laguna freeze up and blush in embarrassment, McJagger did his best to stifle his laughter before asking, "Want me to grab you something to eat"? Laguna had a sheepish smile as she nodded and replied, "Note: That would be great, McJagger. Thank you." McJagger gave her a quick kiss on the cheek as he started to walk to a nearby food booth. Once he was gone, Melody commented as she swung her arm around the an"troll"pologist, "Laguna, you have to be the luckiest Techno troll in the universe to be dating one of the coolest funk trolls in the universe." Aggie added, "Melody's right. It's like you both were destined to meet and be together."

Laguna's blush increased as she said while nervously twiddling her thumbs, "Well, I don't really know if fate arranged this interaction between us. It was probably just a rare opportunity that came up, and I was lucky enough to take it." Sid then came over, saying, "Well, don't get used to it. Because love is never a steady road. There's always going to be bumps and obstacles that you both have to overcome. and it's not to say you're the only one who thinks this way." The trio looked up at Sid as Laguna asked, "What are you talking about"? Sid rolled his eyes as he replied, "Well, first, look at him. I mean, How can any troll not fall for him? His smooth voice, his really bright but surprisingly simple jacket, his golden bling, his wavy hair, and those perfect light blue eyes. All of those things and more screams the word Handsome, and is enough to make any girl fall head over heels, fins, hooves, whatever, for him." Melody, Aggie, and Laguna turned their heads to look at McJagger, who was waiting in line, as Aggie replied, "Well, he does bring up a good point. McJagger is pretty handsome," as Laguna said, her eyes glistening in admiration, "He most certainly is." Sid snapped his fingers to make them turn around to face him again as the Flexi-Troll then stated, "Exactly. I mean, I know you like him because he's smart and loves books like you do, Laguna, but his looks alone are enough to make any female fall for him. That, plus, his caring and optimistic nature is also a pretty cool trait." Sid suddenly realized what he said as he stuck his tongue out, saying, "Yuck! I'm getting all lovey-dubby. Ew"!

Melody chuckled as she commented, "At least you're starting to act a little nicer, Sid. Your reformation seems to be successful at the moment." Sid shuddered as he said, "I know, and I hate it. The worst part is that at the same time... I like it too. Ugh. I need to go barf, but take my warning, Laguna. You're not the only troll who loves him, and it's not to say that he had a girlfriend before he met you." Sid then proceeded to walk away, looking for a trashcan to barf in as Melody then said, "I'm going to go check on Sid and make sure he doesn't do anything weird or drastic," as she proceeded to follow Sid. Meanwhile, Aggie noticed that Laguna was thinking about something as she asked, "Laguna, are you ok"? The Techno troll seemed to snap out of it and shook her head before saying, "Oh, I'm alright, Master Aggie. Just...thinking about what Sid said. He did actually name a good point. What if McJagger did have a girlfriend before he came here and met me? If so, why did they break up? How long were they dating for"? Aggie could tell Laguna was beginning to worry as she used her rock hand to hold Laguna's hand while saying, "Hey, it's ok. Even if he did, he's now with you, and that's what matters. He loves you. You love him. You both are meant to be together. Your romance is one of a great truth, and I don't even need to have a vision to see that in the future, you're bound to continue being together through marriage or whatever you do." Laguna started to feel better as she said, "Thanks, Aggie. Your reassuring words have helped me. And you are probably right. It doesn't matter if he had a girlfriend previously. What matters most is that we're together, and we have a happy and cohesive relationship."

At the food stand, McJagger was up as the waitress said, "Good morning. What can I getcha on this fine morning"? McJagger turned his head and looked at Laguna before saying, "One glow fruit smoothie and a container of those chocolate fishes, please." The waitress nodded and said, "Be right back," as she ducked down to get the things needed for the smoothie while McJagger patiently waited. Then, he heard a voice saying, "Yoohoo! McJaggy," and instantly froze in fear, whispering, "Oh no! That can't be who I think it is"! He quickly turned his head both left and right, looking for where the voice was coming from. Then, he felt someone come next to him and said, "Long time no see," as McJagger instantly jumped back in fright, turning around and seeing who it was. A female, quadruped funk troll who was purple all over, had indigo hair up in a bun and dark purple eyes, pink stripes on her neck and body, and lavender legs was standing in front of him, saying, "Hello...honey." McJagger gulped in nervousness as he said, "Oh...Beatrice...l-long time no see." The now identified funk troll shot a flirtatious smile as she said (voiced by Chaka Khan), "Too long. I've missed you back in Vibe City. Things have been way too quiet." McJagger nervously smiled and replied, "W-well, I live here now. You know me. A-always moving." Beatrice kept coming close to him, saying, "That's so like you. Good thing we think alike. That's why we're so...compatible." McJagger had no idea how to respond as he then said, "I-I love to chat up, b-but I have to bring something to a friend."

As on cue, McJagger's order was set and placed on a tray as the waitress said, "Order up"! McJagger sighed a breath of relief and grabbed the tray and said, "Well, see you later," before walking away with the tray. Beatrice watched McJagger leave as she said to herself, "Oh? Then, let's see this "friend of yours. Shall we," as she proceeded to follow him. McJagger soon spotted Laguna and took some deep breaths before approaching her, saying calmly, "I'm back, boo, and brought you the usual, with a little treat." Laguna turned around and saw McJagger holding the tray as she came up to him, saying, "Oh, McJagger. How sweet. How did you know that chocolate fishes were my favorite? I never even told you." McJagger chuckled and replied, "Well, you had that "chocolate fish craving" vibe. So I thought, why not get you some"? Laguna's cheeks flushed pink as she ended up chuckling before saying as she picked up the glow fruit smoothie and container of chocolate fishes, saying, "Thanks, McJagger." McJagger placed his arm around her as he said, "You're welcome, Laguna. I'd do anything for you." Aggie watched this small romantic moment go on before she saw something approaching behind them, and whatever it was, mad Aggie recoil in shock and horror because her eyes widened and her jaw dropped to the floor. McJagger and Laguna kept the hug going until Beatrice's voice piped in, saying, "So. This is the friend you were talking about"? McJagger and Laguna's eyes widened as they separated and turned around, noticing the purple funk troll looking at them sternly with her arms crossed.

Laguna recoiled in fear as McJagger stumbled back while saying in shock, "Beatrice! What are you doing here"?! Beatrice replied, "I was wondering who your little "friend" was, so I followed you. Who is she"? Laguna looked at Beatrice in confusion while McJagger nervously replied, "Beatrice, meet Laguna. Laguna, meet Beatrice, an old classmate from my med school." Laguna offered her hand out as she said, "It is nice to meet you, Beatrice." Beatrice looked at Laguna before accepting her handshake, saying in what McJagger could tell was a fake nice act, "The pleasure's all mine." Aggie then flew in between both girls and said as calmly as she could, "Hello, Beatrice! I'm Aggie, otherwise known as the Master of All Music! It's great to meet you." Beatrice scanned Aggie up and down as she said while walking past her, "Nice to meet you, Maggie." Aggie felt her heart drop when Beatrice mispronounced her name as she turned and watched the purple funk troll walk up to McJagger again. McJagger felt uncomfortable with Beatrice coming close to him as the girl said, "So, how's it been living her, McJaggy? Pretty lonely, am I right"? McJagger nervously chuckled and said, "Not really. I've made so many new friends, and I've especially bonded with Laguna. she loves books as much as I do, and she's really smart. She's an an"troll"pologist." Beatrice did not seem so impressed as she replied, "That so? Pretty good. Nowhere as good as being a surgeon, but pretty good." Laguna felt a bit confused and hurt by Beatrice's behavior, feeling unsure of how to react. Should she say thank you? Defend her career choice? Reply to how Beatrice has been acting around McJagger? Laguna took a deep breath and calmly responded, trying not to seem nervous, "Maybe not, but I love studying an"troll"pology. Getting to learn about the past cultures and behaviors of trolls is an intriguing topic of study."

Beatrice rolled her eyes and said, "Yeah, I guess so. Anyways, I'd love to hear more about your career, but I'm afraid I have some overdue "catching up" t do with my old classmate, McJagger." The red funk troll nervously started to back away as Aggie intervened, saying, "Can your "catching up" be later? McJagger and Laguna promised to help me organize some shelves at the library." Laguna was confused and was about to intervene when she saw McJagger rapidly nod and state, "Yeah! I almost forgot. sorry, Beatrice, but we can talk later." Unsure of what was happening anymore, Laguna decided to play along, saying, "Yes. Thank you for reminding us, Master Aggie." as the trio started to leave. Beatrice groaned in defeat as she muttered, "Just you wait. You will be mine, McJaggy. That purple Techno toad does not deserve your love"! At Pop Library, Aggie led the couple towards the back as McJagger sighed a breath of relief, saying, "Thank trolls. If I had to try and not seem so nervous for one more minute, I was going to snap." Laguna then spoke up, asking in concern, "McJagger, what's going on? Who is that Beatrice girl, and why did you seem uncomfortable around her"? McJagger sighed and solemnly replied, "I might as well tell you both. See, Aggie, Laguna, Beatrice...is my ex-girlfriend." Aggie and Laguna both gasped in shock as McJagger raised his paws, saying, "Not necessarily an ex-girlfriend, more like an ex-partner. See, let me explain. When I started med school, we were assigned a partner to work with during our time there. I was, unfortunately, partnered with Beatrice, and she was obsessed with me. She thought that because we were partnered together, we'd be dating and marry one another, and pretty much my whole time in med school, she kept that thought in mind.

I was more focused on my studies and wanted to do well, but Beatrice's "love fantasies" made it really hard. After passing and graduating, I thought that'd be the end of it, but she kept following me, wanting to spend every moment with me like it was a date. Finally, I decided to let her down slowly. I told her that school was over and that it was time to move on. Even though we could still be friends, I didn't see her as someone I'd want to live the rest of my life with. She took it pretty hard and tried desperately to get me to "date" her. But I kept politely refusing. Then, Trollstopia formed, and before she could even make another attempt, I left and hadn't seen her since. I was hoping that my time away from her would give her a chance to either meet someone new or mature from it, but I guess old habits die hard or don't go away at all." Aggie and Laguna felt bad for McJagger as they came up to him, comforting the red funk troll, as Aggie said, "Oh, you poor thing." Laguna placed a hand on his shoulder as she said, "It's alright, McJagger. You're here now with us, and we'll do our best to try and control her while she's here. But, if you don't mind me asking...while you said you never had feelings for her...do you...like her"? McJagger looked at Laguna and said, "She's someone I'd want to be friends with if she ever gets over her obsession with me, but I only love one troll in particular, and it's you, Laguna baby. I love you with all my heart and soul, and nothing or no one can ever change that." He slowly caressed her cheek as Laguna placed a hand over his paw, both trolls leaning in and kissing one another.

Aggie smiled and watched this go on before speaking up, saying, "Well, at least we know that we don't have to worry about you two breaking up. But, what are we going to do about Beatrice"? The small group started to think until McJagger suggested, "Well, we can tell her that I'm already taken. If she sees that I'm already dating someone, then maybe she'll back off." Aggie then commented, "Yeah, that seems like the best idea. Hopefully, she won't be too hurt and will finally give you some space." In agreement, they walked back outside and found Beatrice wandering around aimlessly, probably thinking about another romantic fantasy. Aggie and Laguna hid behind a bush while McJagger mentally prepared to talk to Beatrice. Aggie whispered, "You got this. Just let her know slowly, and if things go south, we got your back." Laguna added, "We're here if you need us. just give the signal if you feel like she isn't backing off or doesn't seem to get it." McJagger nodded and took a deep breath before beginning to approach Beatrice. The purple funk troll noticed him approaching and smiled brightly, saying, "Oh, McJaggy! You came back"! she started to run towards him but stopped when McJagger placed his paw up, saying, "Hold it. We need to talk, Beatrice." Beatrice nodded and said, "Of course, my red hunk of handsome. We have all the time to catch up. Why don't we go for a walk on the beach"? McJagger shook his head and said as calmly as he could, "Beatrice...I'm taken." Beatrice did not seem to understand as she said, "I don't...get it."

McJagger sighed and stated, "I'm taken, Beatrice. I'm dating someone else. I know you have feelings for me, but I only think of you as a friend. I know this is hard for you to take, and I'm sorry, but I'm in love with someone else. I hope you accept this and understand the circumstances." Aggie and Laguna watched in anticipation as Beatrice stood in silence and shock, not saying a word for a minute. She then took a deep breath and calmly said, "Ok. I...thank you for telling me this, McJagger. I hope you and your...special someone lives happily together." McJagger smiled as he then extended his paw out, saying, "Thank you for understanding, Beatrice. and...I hope we can still be friends." Beatrice shook his hand as she said, "Of course." He bowed his head before walking away as Beatrice turned around and clenched a fist, saying to herself quietly, "I don't care what it takes, but you will be mine, McJagger! I swear! I will personally make sure you break up with that Techno freak and stay with me and me only"! With that, Beatrice began to plot on the perfect plan to try and break McJagger and Laguna up. Later on, she found them walking together and got a sneaky idea. She quietly crept towards where they were heading. Beatrice pulled out a hardly visible vine as they got closer and got it set at feet level. She hid so they could not notice her as McJagger's foot got caught on the vine, and he bumped into Laguna, who fell into a mud puddle. McJagger gasped and ran towards Laguna, saying, "Laguna! Are you ok?! I am so sorry"! Laguna looked like she was hurt as Beatrice watched, quietly, y whispering, "Here it comes." McJagger helped Laguna up as the Techno troll, much to Beatrice's shock, was laughing as she said, "It's alright, McJagger. I'm unharmed but only covered in mud."

McJagger and Laguna both broke into laughter as McJagger commented, "Well, there's a hose nearby. Want me to use it to help you wash that mud off"? Laguna nodded as they started to head towards the hose while Beatrice snapped her fingers in defeat, saying, "Looks like I'll have to turn things up." She quietly followed them and hid behind a tree. She saw the hose and pulled a bit of it towards her. Meanwhile, McJagger and Laguna approached the hose as McJagger picked up the nozzle and asked, "Ready"? Laguna nodded and proceeded to turn the hose on but found no water coming out. He shook the nozzle while saying, "That's odd. It ain't shooting water like it normally does." Laguna came over, asking, "May I look at it"? McJagger handed her the nozzle as Laguna tried to look inside before shaking it in an attempt to get it working. Meanwhile, Beatrice was stepping on the part of the hose, making the water build-up. Once she felt content, she lifted her foot, and the water gushed out, and unfortunately, Laguna had the nozzle pointed at McJagger, who ended up getting doused by the sudden blast. Laguna became terrified as she rushed to turn the hose off before running to McJagger, saying, "McJagger! Are you ok"?! McJagger got up and was dripping wet, but he didn't seem fazed at all, saying with a smile, "Well, at least I'm clean as a whistle." They both broke into laughter again as Beatrice silently gritted her teeth and growled, saying, "Oh turtlenecks! I need to amp up my game. There's no way those two can laugh these things off for any longer."

Meanwhile, Sid watched something while eating popcorn as Melody came over, saying, "Hey, Sid. What are you watching? There's no movie screen around here." Sid popped a few popcorn pieces into his mouth as he said, "Oh, I'm watching this jealous purple funk troll trying to break up Laguna and McJagger." Melody's eyes widened as she shouted in disbelief, "What?! And you didn't even bother to try and stop her?! What's wrong with you"?! Sid placed his hand up and said, "You didn't let me finish. The funk troll is failing, and the fails are hilarious." Melody facepalmed, replying sternly, "That doesn't help anything! If you see this happening, you have to try at least to stop it! This isn't right at all"! Sid rolled his eyes and said, "Maybe, but it's sure as heck hilarious to see. Watch. The troll's about to try again." Melody turned around to watch as she saw Beatrice plant what looked like a small, rectangular, carefully wrapped present on top of a mushroom table. She saw Laguna coming this way and quickly hid behind a bush as Laguna noticed the present on the mushroom. She picked it up and read the tag, saying, "To: Laguna. From: McJagger. Aw, how sweet." Melody froze and was ready to swipe the present when she saw Holly running towards Laguna, shouting, "Ay got it! Ay got it"! Laguna saw Holly coming her way and threw the present up, diving behind the mushroom. Holly caught what looked like a red Frisbee and said, "Woo-hoo! Ay did it"! As for the present, it stayed in the air until it fell back down into Beatrice's arms. Beatrice caught it but was suddenly caught in what looked like a frosting explosion. Sid broke into laughter, spilling some of his popcorn as Melody stifled her laughter, saying, "Ok, that is a little funny. Wait, what am I saying? No, this still isn't right! Come on, Sid"! Melody grabbed sid by the hand and forcefully dragged him along with her, making Sid spill his popcorn as Holly approached Laguna, saying, "Ay'm awful sorry, Laguna. Buckaroo tossed me ayy heck av ayy throw and ay was so busy a-pursuin'it, ay didn't see where ay was a-goin'."

Laguna replied happily, "It's ok, Holly. What matters most is that no one got hurt. But...did you see a present around here"? Before Holly could reply, McJagger appeared behind Laguna, offering a present that looked just like Beatrice's trap, as he said, "For you, Laguna baby." Laguna accepted the present and kissed him on the cheek, saying, "Aw, thank you, McJagger." Laguna opened the present and found a golden necklace resting inside, with a small golden heart on the bottom that had her name encrusted in it. Laguna placed a hand over her heart as she said, "It's beautiful." McJagger blushed and said, "It took weeks to make, but I wanted it to be perfect for you, Laguna baby." Laguna picked the necklace up and placed it on, saying, "I love it"! Before they could kiss again, a rustle in the bushes got their attention as a frosting-covered Beatrice came out, now with leaves stuck to her. In confusion, Holly asked, "Who in the hay is that," as Sid and Melody came over and were surprised to see the troll appear. McJagger seemed to recognize who it was by her eyes as he said, "Beatrice, what were you doing behind the bushes"? Beatrice wiped some of the frostings off her face as she said, "I was on a walk when I got frosting-bombed." Sid was chuckling as he said, "Either way, it was funny as heck to see that present go up and then into where you were and exploded in your face! Comedy gold"! Everyone looked at Sid as Laguna asked, "Wait, there was another present"? Melody groaned as she said, "Here's what actually happened. That original present you had? SHE put it there so it would've been YOU who got frosting bombed! But almost like a miracle, Holly came barging in, no offense, and made you toss that present up and away, and she ended up being the one frosting-bombed"!

Everyone gasped in shock as McJagger asked, "Beatrice, is this true"? Beatrice crossed her front legs and shook her head, saying, "No! Honestly, why must I always be the victim here? I already suffered a horrendous break-up, and now I'm getting blamed for something I did not even do"? Sid rolled his eyes and said, "That lie is as obvious as the frosting on your face and body." Beatrice pretended to feign shock as she said in an overdramatic fashion, "Uh! The indignities I have suffered today! Why don't you shut your mouth before you spill more accusations, you fiend"? Melody gritted her teeth and retorted, "You're the only fiend here, you jealous worm"! Beatrice decided she had enough and slapped Melody hard, making her fall to the ground, as everyone, including Sid, gasp in shock. Beatrice huffed and said, "Don't care," and pushed Aggie down, making her fall on top of Melody, and proceeded to walk away. However, this time, Laguna was the one who had enough as she angrily shouted, "Hey"! Beatrice turned around and saw Laguna glaring at her as Beatrice asked, "What"? Laguna took a deep breath and began to state as she marched towards Beatrice, "I can take a lot of things. Pain, hurtful comments, etc., and usually keep them all inside and bite my tongue, trying to act calm-natured. But when I see my friends getting hurt for something other trolls have against me, that's where I draw the line! So, you're jealous that McJagger never loved you? Get over it! He doesn't want to be with you! Accept that, and move on"!

This intense encounter got many fellow bystanders' attention, especially Poppy and the other leaders, who came over and saw Melody and Aggie on the floor. Barb and Trollex were ready to step in, but Branch and Poppy, who was pushing Harmony in a stroller, stopped them, as Poppy said, "Wait. Let Laguna handle this." Despite wanting to step in, especially Barb, they both agreed with Poppy's wishes and watched as Beatrice marched towards Laguna while saying, "You have no right to say that! You don't deserve McJagger's love! Besides, whoever heard of a funk troll dating a Techno Troll? Sounds dumb." Laguna retorted, "It's called true love and a heartfelt connection, something you most certainly lack"! In the crowd, Finn watched in surprise, seeing his little sister stand up for her romance with McJagger, when he was approached by Trollex, who whispered, "Finn, I need you to get to Techno Lagoon and get Twilight. Now." Finn looked back at Laguna before nodding at Trollex, saying, "On it, mate," and ran as fast as he could to Techno Reef. Back with the hostile scenario, Beatrice shouted, "He does not belong with you. He belongs with his true partner: me. We're bound to be together while you're destined to die alone, fish"! Everyone gasped in shock at the hurtful insult, but Laguna, surprisingly, remained calm and said, "You know something? I've heard insults like these before, and I'd normally just take them or run off crying, but...that's the old me. I'm not that troll anymore. I'm not going to stand by and have trolls like you disrespecting others just because of your obsessions and fantasies"!

Beatrice: You can't destroy this love I've found! Your silly games, I won't allow! The boy is mine without a doubt! You might as well throw in the towel!

Laguna: What makes you think that he wants you? When I'm the one that brought him to the special place that's in my heart? He was my love right from the start!

Once the song concluded, Beatrice shoved Laguna to the ground, making the Techno troll fall on her back. The crowd gasps in shock as Beatrice smugly grinned before turning walking towards her. Laguna started to get up but saw Beatrice raise her paw, prepared to slap her. Aggie and Melody were ready to jump in as McJagger shouted, "No! Laguna"! Then, something happened that made every troll's jaw drop. Laguna was able to grab Beatrice's arm in close to a millisecond as her hand was just inches away from connecting to Laguna's face. Beatrice was stunned and tried to use her other front leg, but that one got caught too. Despite her position, Laguna was able to stand up on her fins and said, "Not...today," as her heart changed back to its teal coloring again. Beatrice struggled to free herself from Laguna's grip but failed, as it felt like being held by an iron claw. Not once did Laguna lighten up her glare on Beatrice as she stated with what sounded like malice in her tone of voice, "Now, listen to me because I'm only going to say this once. Do not...ever...come near me...or McJagger...unless you can fully accept our relationship and learn to get over the fact that he's dating someone who's not you. If you even attempt to try and hurt us in any way or form, I will PERSONALLY...make sure...that never happens again. You hear me"? Beatrice was terrified for once as she shakily nodded before Laguna let her go.

The purple funk troll stumbled back as Laguna then pointed to an open path and said, "Now go, and unless you can prove to everyone that you've changed, I don't think you'll be welcomed here anytime soon." Beatrice looked around and saw the disapproving looks on every troll's face, including the leaders, before she glared at Laguna as she turned and ran towards the path, running away. Once Beatrice was completely gone, Laguna sighed a huge breath of relief as she was then startled by the sudden loud applause. Every troll clapped and cheered for Laguna as the purple Techno troll blushed in embarrassment. She suddenly felt herself get picked up by Holly and McJagger as Aggie shouted, "Three cheers for Laguna"! McJagger, Aggie, Melody, Sid, and Holly gently tossed her into the air three times while everyone shouted, "Hip! Hip! Hooray! Hip! Hip! Hooray! Hip! Hip! Hooray"! Once her friends lowered Laguna back to the ground, Melody commented, "Laguna, that was so amazing the way you defended yourself like that! That took guts"! Aggie added as she patted Laguna on the back, "Great job standing up for yourself out there," as Holly asked, "How do ya feel, gerl"? Laguna thought for a minute before replying, "Note: I feel...terrified if I'm being honest," as she looked down at the ground while rubbing her left arm in nervousness. McJagger could sense his girlfriend's fear as he asked, "How come"?

Laguna looked up at McJagger nervously before responding, "That was not me out there. I only acted that way out of sheer anger, and...it reminded me a bit of...my father. At that moment, it was almost like...I became him." Tears started to develop around her eyes as she shakily said, "I...I don't want...to end up...the way he did. I couldn't bear to even look in the mirror...if I'd ever hurt you guys...in the way that he did." McJagger brought her close and allowed Laguna to sob into his chest as Aggie said, trying to comfort her, "Laguna, we know how you feel. We all sometimes have a lot of anger and resentment we build up inside that sometimes just bursts out like that." Melody added, "Yeah, trust me. We've all been there. I've done it, Val's done it, heck, I've even seen Poppy do it. But even when that happens, that doesn't change us at all. Sure, we might feel like a different troll, but it doesn't change us entirely." McJagger used his fingers to lift Laguna's head as he said, "Yeah, even I sometimes lose my cool, but that never fully changes me at all." Then, the group saw the leaders and ambassadors approaching them as Queen Essence spoke up, commenting, "McJagger is right. We know that it may seem a little scary at first, especially for you considering what you've gone through." Laguna nodded slowly as Quincy added, "But sometimes, letting out some of that anger you keep up inside, depending on the way you do release it in, can be a good thing. Ask yourself this. After that outburst, do you feel a little better"? Laguna thought about it as she replied, "Strangely...I do." Branch then commented, "When you unleash the anger and frustration you feel inside, in healthy manners, of course, it can bring you a sense of relief and can help you be able to focus more."

Barb added, "Yeah. For us rock trolls, us expressing our anger through smashing things or loud shouts, while it's part of our nature, it actually does help us mentally. I myself have found it easier to think and feel peaceful, as strange as it sounds coming from me, from doing that. The real thing is just the best method for you." Holly then stated, "Yeah, they're right, Laguna. faw me, ay know ay usually take the high road when ay'm a-feelin' angry, but sometimes, ay let it out by a-wrestlin' with other Country trolls. It provides ayy mighty fine workout ayn' allows us ta relieve any tension or anger we feel." Trollzart added, "And a peaceful state of mind can also aid you in recovery because a calm mind and body eases the soul and allows yourself to heal." Soon, Twilight's voice could be heard as she commented, "The leaders are right, kelpcake." Laguna saw her mother and older brother walking towards them as Twilight said, "It's always hard to try and not show it when you're feeling all riled up or furious. I've had my fair share of moments like those. But ya don't have to be afraid to show 'em, Laguna. It's natural to show others how ya feel, even if those feelings aren't good ones. It allows us to see what you're going through and help ya in any way we can." Finn even spoke up, saying, "Mom's right, sis. While I'm embarrassed ta admit myself, mate, but yeah. Even recluses such as myself tend ta show our emotions, and while sometimes, we might deny it or, bloody heck, do something else ta hide, it, it's a natural thing." Prince D came forward, saying, "Remember what I told you in therapy, Laguna. About how it's ok to express how you feel, even if you're scared to show others."

McJagger then added, "Besides, I know you only acted like that because you were defending our relationship. And I couldn't be prouder to see you developing self-confidence and speaking out more on things you feel strongly about." Stereo was pushing Synth in the wheelchair as they came forward, with Synth saying, "Yeah. You and McJagger are *imitates air horn noises* and deserve to be with each other! No troll should tell you any different"! Aggie then got an idea and flew up, saying to all the trolls who were gathered, "Raise your hand, fin, or paw if you support McJagger and Laguna's relationship." Literally, every troll had their hand/fin/paw up as a voice in the crowd asked, "When are they going to get married"? Laguna and McJagger blushed in embarrassment as everyone broke into laughter, except Finn, who showed a small smile in content before returning to acting like his normal behavior. Twilight placed her arm around Laguna as she said, "See? Ya, never have ta be afraid to show anyone here how ya feel because even if you weren't in a relationship, everyone here supports one another. We look out for one another because we're one big family." Laguna smiled as she looked on at every smiling face in the crowd before she felt McJagger tap her on the shoulder as he asked, "Feeling any better"? Laguna nodded as she then said, "Does this answer your question too," as they both kissed one another on the lips. Everyone was either whistling in support or cheering for the couple, but that didn't last long. Suddenly, the roar of what sounded like a Dune Huggy got everyone's attention as everyone ended up covering their ears. Aggie asked, "Holy trolls! What kind of a vehicle makes that noise"? Rolling into the town square was looked like a black, sleek caterbus, and the caterbus seemed highly snarky and intimidating. Just seeing the face growl at them was enough to send some trolls running away in fear. The door swung open as a dark blue Techno Troll walked out, creating a sense of hostility in the air. Laguna hid behind McJagger, and her mom as Melody asked, "Oh my...is that him? Is that...Marcus"? This Techno troll seemed to be pretty burly, and the cold look in his icy blue eyes was chilly enough to send shivers down anyone's spines. He had purple hair that was up in some fancy bun and was wearing what looked like a gray business suit with a black tie. The Snack Pack, ambassadors, and fellow Trollstopian were silent as he walked through the crowd.

Melody felt her heart drop as she stuttered, "S-suddenly, I feel so...intimidated," with Val saying, "M-me too...M-Melly." Even Barb could feel shivers of fear going down her spine, despite trying to act tough. Aggie hugged Trollex in fear as Trollex did his best to comfort his girlfriend while Poppy and Branch crowded around Harmony protectively, the baby oblivious as to what was going on. The Techno Troll walked up to Twilight and said in a deep gruff voice and what Aggie could tell was a fake smile/sense of formality, "My dear Twilight. Long time no see." He pulled Twilight into a forceful kiss as almost everyone had to turn away to see, with Synth saying, "Ah! I can't watch this," as he and Stereo hugged one another tightly. Holly, terrified, asked, "Why is he trying ta bite her face off," as Delta said while trying to calm her down, "Well, ay think that's his take on ayy kiss." Sid, for once, found this guy replsuive as he said to himself, "Sheesh, he looks more bad that I could ever be." Prince D and Cooper looked at one another in concern as Essence and Quincy brought their sons close to them, protecting them just if this troll decided to do something bad. Trollzart, Dante, and Minuet all stayed close to one another, trying to hug each other as if to protect them from anything that might happen. Once the male Techno troll stopped kissing Twilight, he said, "O, I've missed the sweet taste of you. I haven't had that in 6 years. I've missed you so much." Twilight nervously tipped her fedora and said, "I've...missed ya too...Marcus." Finn stayed hidden behind the Snack Pack and whispered, "No one tells that trollstard I'm here." Smidge heard his whispers and nodded as she and the Snack Pack huddled close, acting as a wall, so hopefully, the new troll would not see Finn. Then, the male Techno Troll separated and looked behind Twilight and noticed Laguna hugging McJagger as he said with his fake nice voice, "Hello...daughter." Laguna adjusted her glasses and gulped, trying to respond in a not scared tone, "Hello...father."
