Lilith held the letter in her hand as she walked down the path. She was hoping this will work, for the betterment of the Isles, this had better work. If this did work, who would take over and implement new rules and laws. Lilith was technically the next in line, but she knew that she could never handle that responsibility, especially with her approaching fifty. She is getting too old for it. Edalyn, whereas she was close to fifty as well, she was younger and could be beneficial to helping change the Isles. Lilith quickly shook the thought out of her head.

"Edalyn would never agree to rule the Isles. She doesn't like the idea of authority, her being a part of authority would only end badly."

That only left... no, that's ridiculous. Right? There was no way a human would be able to rule the Isles. No one would ever agree to it. She wishes she could ask the Titan for advice, but when she joined the Coven, her father removed the ability from her. Until he dies, she is unable to speak to him. She remembers Eda telling her that the Curse caused her to lose her ability to speak to him as well. Things would be so much easier if they could speak to him.

"She couldn't be Emperor even if she wanted to, you have to be able to speak to the Titan in order to rule the Isles."

Lilith walked to the castle and to her surprise, Emperor Belos was standing there at the entrance.

"Father."

"Ah, Lilith. The Titan told me you would come. He also told me something interesting." Belos said.

"H-he did?"

Lilith was afraid, if the Titan already alerted her father of their plan then everything would be ruined.

"Yes, the Titan told me... that your sister found a way to place part of her curse onto you."

"I... yes, when they found out I was planning on accepting your deal, they tied me down, found a way to split the curse between Edalyn and I, and then tossed me out."

"I see. I should've known your sister and that human... pet of hers, would never accept the deal. She must've known that I was going to destroy that pitiful creature of hers."

Lilith's eyes widened when she heard that. He was going to kill Luz, Edalyn was right.

"Well, we can deal with these two later. For now, we must remove your curse and return you to your former title."

"As Coven Head?"

"No." He held out an old tiara, "As Princess."

Lilith took the crown and looked at it. An old thing that Lilith used to wear everywhere she went. Edalyn on the other hand, only wore it when there was a special event, like Grom or they went out with their father. Something else went through her head. Why did the Titan lie to him?
