"We don't know much, but it's definitely another red skull," said Barton in a conference room set aside for them. "We also know he's linked to another equally dangerous guy: the gentleman."

Peter slowly leaned forward in his chair. "I've heard of him. He's like a super wealthy mastermind dude that creates crisis plots to profit from them." "That's right," said Barton. "These cats are very dangerous. Make no mistakes there." Peter thought on it more. "Parker?" said Hawkeye. "It... seems unlikely my sister could have successfully infiltrated such a powerful group; at least alone."

That definitely had the group quiet and thinking. Peter looked around. "Did I say something wrong?" "No Peter; you made a very good point," said Hawkeye. "We suspect some kind of telepathic involvement given recent intel. That would have given Teresa the edge to better get inside." "Who then?"

The truth was there were any number of candidates. It could be anyone. Familiar or new players even.

Alarms sounded in the building. Everyone tensed. Peter's spider sense hadn't gone off. That made him frown. Nonetheless everyone stood and tensed. At a moment like that told Peter that whatever danger was incoming wasn't there just yet. Many times it was proximity based. As the threat grew closer the more apparent that would become.

Now it did go off; buzzing like mad. "Get down!" They did. The north wall exploded an instant later. Even before the smoke had cleared green uniformed hydra assaulters hit them head on. They opened fire; cutting down Japanese security and shield agents with ease. Peter already had his mask on and was moving fast to assist. He leaped into a group of them and went at them.

Widow came up and fired one of her gauntlet grenades at another hydra hit group as they entered the breached building. It blew and took them down. But more were coming.

Hawkeye used his bow as a melee weapon being in such close quarters and fought near Spider-Man. Widow switched to double pistols and fired back to kill a few more.

At times like this Peter wasn't too concerned about not killing. These weren't street thugs. These were trained killers; among the worst on earth and in all of his history. Plus they might have his sister...

That angered him. He fought harder; and meaner as a result. His blows were spider fast and nasty. Bones smashed as his anger and will fueled his blows. This was war and Spider-Man was now a soldier in that war. His parents had fought that war too and it had taken their lives.

Not Teresa's too! No more Parker bad luck! No more!

Men cried out as his blows became lethal. At other times that wouldn't have happened. He would have reprimanded himself and others severely for doing that; but he couldn't afford that now.

Hawkeye now fought beside him and took down hydra hitters with his bow; killing as mercilessly as Peter now did. Widow was nearby to them. She'd provided backup to shield and their Japanese security allies here.

As Peter fought through them he could see the assault repulsor skiff the hydra force used to attack them. Backup would be here any moment. But hydra likely had stealth tech equipped that would make them damned near impossible to detect or track.

Bashing away a few more Spider-Man made his way to the destroyed opening and threw one of his spider tracking devices onto its hull. But it wouldn't be enough. He needed more.

The skiff started to fly away as backup came in. The Kirby wasn't far away and shield reinforcements were already incoming. The skiff pulled away. Oh no you don't! Peter shot a web line onto its base and was pulled out as the failed baddie hit ended as fast as it had started.

"Peter!" Called widow after him but it was too late. Peter was already out the hole and flying through the Tokyo night sky with the now cloaked again skiff. Still, Peter hanging from its base via web line and with tracker affixed would definitely help.

They flew off at higher speeds into the Tokyo night. As shield reinforcements closed in more hydra ships uncloaked beside the one Peter was attached to. Oh shit!

The door to the one at his right opened and a maniacal laugh came from just inside. The noted hydra assassin Crossbones appeared and fired at Peter. His danger senses bought him time. He threw himself forward to avoid the auto gunfire.

While still airborne he fired another web line to latch onto another part of the skiff's underside; he was out of the line of fire for now. The flanking hydra ships repositioned. Peter could do the math well enough. There was nothing more he could do; and shield was still too far away. They would be on him any moment.

You gotta let it go Pete! You gotta let it go! You're tracking these pricks. You'll follow them; and you'll find her. But you gotta let go!

The hydra ships were almost on him. In reluctance and anger he gave in to reason and fell away from the skiff and free fell to the city ground below. As he neared the tall buildings he shot out a line and superhumanly anchored himself to the summit of one. He looked up into the night sky and watched the hydra ships disappear.

Damn it.

"Agent Parker do you copy?" Shield called into his comm. He was about to respond when a voice entered his head. [Peter...] [Who is this?] [My name is Kwannon... We need to meet.] It was a woman's voice. [What do you want?] [I know how to find your sister...] Telepathy he reasoned. And shield had indeed suspected a telepath aiding Teresa in order to infiltrate hydra... "agent Parker do you copy?"

[Don't answer them Peter.] [why not?] [Trust me. Disappear from them first and I will help you further...] [wait!] Nothing.

Shield continued to call and close in. Peter had no other leads and he had to find Teresa. Hydra had already made their move. Time was not his friend. He disabled his comm and dove down and away from the shield ships as they flew in. In little time he was gone from view and sensors.

I don't know if I can trust this Kwannon lady but right now I don't have a better option. For now we play this her way.
