Because I love you guys, I'll try to make this chapter longer. It is the finale of The Broken Arc - and we see our bestie, Gimero, again! Let's see what he's up to...

BanjoMano Does Not Own Minecraft. If he did, this wouldn't take so long to Publish.

[Gimero]

Sileeno walked down the hallway, chests full of weapons stacked roof-high on shelves to either side of him. The warehouse was dimly lit, leaving me with a sense of crippling fear. However, Sileeno marched right on, and I'd rather be with the scientist then alone in this creepy warehouse. So, despite my many judgements, I walked right behind him.

Outside, the sounds of combat grew fainter as we moved deeper into the warehouse. From the little glances in the windows I could look out of, it looked like the army had gone around the wall and flanked the guards. Sileeno decided to ignore that and avoided the window's gaze.

I gripped my weapons nervously, not going through the embarrassment of switching them. I had the manyullyn frying pan in one hand and a fishing rod in the other. In case of combat, I could cook a mean fish and steak combo.

That's about it in my combat skills. I really hoped that I didn't have to use them, but then we saw the head.

Should I say, I saw the head. Because I was looking everywhere cautiously, the pile of loot caught my eye like a beacon. My first reaction was a loud yelp, followed by pointing for Sileeno, then opening a chest and vomiting into it.

Sileeno handled the situation better. He ran up to the pile, kneeling and picking up the head of the fallen Human. Looking around, a dark look crossed his face as he settled on the direction we were heading.

Once the last of the vomit left my mouth, I walked over to Sileeno shakily. Trying- well, not to keep my voice low- but lower then high-pitched, I asked maybe a bit to hopefully "So, ah, are we almost there?"

"Too close." He whispered, placing the head in his belt. "I will give him a proper burial, but for now… someone knows."

He stood up, pulling out TNT from his belt. "Show yourself!"

I held up my frightening weapons and bluffed "We're not afraid of you!", but it came out more squeaky then brave.

Sileeno gave me an exasperated look. "No point in lying, Guided."

"I'm positively terrified of you, then!" I rapid fired.

Naturally, the cold voice of a classic villain rose through the warehouse. "There's point in sneaking around you if you can't defend your front. You are both idiots."

"Pardon me!" Sileeno exclaimed, waving his TNT threateningly. "I am an acumen! And I pride myself on being so!"

"Can the same thing be said for your friend?"

I looked at my choice of arms, wondering what acumen meant. "I, uh, am a social acumen?"

"Oh really?" The figure of the voice walked around the corner, revealing a man in black and red leather armor. He held up a crossbow, pointed it at my head and said "Then let me formally greet you."

TWANG!

[Alex]

Have you ever had tunnel vision? I believe that's what it called, when everything is focused onto one thing in sight.

Redonath was the only thing I perceived. I was aware of Athara to my right, breaking her way out of the stone coffin with a wooden pick, and Kat, who fired arrows overhead, but the Griefer was the only thing I even bothered to give a shit about.

He apparently had the same idea, as we ran straight at each other. I leaped into the air, slamming my cutlass into him. He blocked the blade with his gauntlets, catching the cutlass and sliding back two blocks. I spun around in a circle, kicking him in the jaw and making him spit out a tooth.

He swung a fist at me, and I dropped my cutlass to catch it. My entire right arm glowed with white-hot energy, and the stone casing shattered, breaking all the bones in that arm

He pulled his limp arm away from me (using his other arm), slamming his good hand into the ground once it was free. I flipped backwards, nearly getting shot by one of Kat's arrows. I gave her a quick angry look, and she smiled apologetically.

I'll deal with her later.

A small tingle in the back of my mind warned me of something, and I dived to the side as the section I was standing flew straight into the roof. Great, now I have Spidey-Sense.

Turning to Redonath, ran at my cutlass, rolling and grabbing it. He stood there, merely watching all this. His broken arm was covered in a stone, but he definitely wasn't going to be using that arm in a while.

"It's quite amazing," He mused. "That despite everything, you insist on killing me! After all, you just can't. I'm too good!"

I gestured to his broken arm. "What about that? You haven't done shit to us."

He looked at Athara, who was breaking the last of her coffin open. "Maybe I should change that."

Before I could react, he gave a thumbs down, and the roof above her collapsed down on her.

There is… a lot of items devoid of physical being in Minecraftia. Sometimes, I wish I could have some of these missing things, like tacos or vehicles other than airships.

Other days, I'm glad these things don't exist, like guns or grenades. Today, it was scopes.

The arrow missed horribly, but it still shattered my fragile calmness. I panicked and ran behind Sileeno, crouching and muttering prayers to the gods of Minecraftia, if there were any.

Hah. If the gods were real, I wouldn't be in this predicament.

Sileeno placed a block of TNT in front of him and pulled out a button. The Griefer dropped his crossbow and tackled him like a pro wrestler. I squeaked and dived to the side, watching as they rolled down the alley. I grabbed his crossbow off the ground and aimed it at the ball of Griefer and engineer.

Deciding it was better not to fire, I broke the TNT block and looked into my wares to see if anything could help me. Deciding that I needed new wares other then blue ice, I ran down a different alley and started to open chests.

I threw on a chainmail helmet and a diamond chest plate, but true gold came in the form of a stack of 16 ender pearls. I held then in my hand, aimed upwards towards the top if a shelf, and threw the green sphere.

I landed face first, nearly rolling off the edge and onto Sileeno. The engineer kicked the Griefer off of him and ran down the warehouse, off into a place we hadn't gone yet.

"Get over here!" The Griefer yelled, running after him. I waited a couple of seconds after he left and threw my next pearl, landing onto the next shelf with a bit better precision.

Sileeno turned a right and reached into a chest quickly, pulling something out that I couldn't make out. The Griefer turned the corner, but slammed into the shelf at high speed.

"OW!" He roared. "You bitch!"

"That," Sileeno said, walking backwards slowly. "Was not my fault in the slightest. Do not blame me for your lunacy."

"Will you SHUT UP!" He bellowed, reaching into a chest and pulling out an enchanted trident.

Tossing the trident with more accuracy then the crossbow, Sileeno was knocked off his feet and slid down the stone floor. The trident returned to the Griefer's hand as he advanced on the fallen Sileeno.

"Hah!" He exclaimed. "The mighty Sileeno, defeated by the one and only Kamieran!"

[Alex]

I didn't know what to feel. It felt like a hurricane of emotions were banging on my ribcage.

Sure. I didn't know Athara for all that long. I probably was overreacting, but when I turned to Kat, I remembered what Identity had said.

My powers don't come from a god. It comes from those around me. And when I saw Kat run to the rubble, I realized that Athara wasn't just a friend. Kat wasn't just an associate, despite knowing her for a couple of minutes.

In the moment we meet, they became part of me. Almost literally.

Turning to Redonath, I saw his smug look, thinking he'd won this battle. His smug look faded when he faced me.

"Uh…" He swallowed. "Do you usually glow like that?"

"Fuck you." I merely said. I leaped at him at the speed of sound, slamming him towards the wall. I thrust an open hand at the wall, and the entire wall faded from existence.

"Look," He said quickly. "Let's not do anything irrational here, shall we?"

"Irrational?" I growled deeply. "Like killing someone?"

"…hard to argue-ACK!"

I grabbed his neck and flipped him behind me. He sputtered curses as I grabbed the hood of his black hoodie and dragged him towards the window.

A green object flew just over my head. Instinctively, I looked behind me and let go of Redonath's hoodie, smashing his face into the ground. Athara stood there, brushing off her clothes and giving Redonath the evil look.

"How-"

"You think I can't get myself out of situations?" She sighed, holding up some sort of translucent green pearl. "Ender Pearls. Teleporting device for us non-Crafter's."

"Oh, shut up." The form of Redonath crawled away from me. Grabbing his leg, I lifted him up and hung him over the edge of the hole in the wall.

Despite his situation, he found his cockiness again. Giving me a taunting smile, he looked at Athara.

"Alright, alright." He said, resigned. "I see where this is going to go. You'll drop me, and I'll go SPLAT. But before you do so, I have one thing to say."

"Drop him." Athara insisted angrily. "He's done nothing good."

"Ah, Sara." He sighed dramatically. "Of course, you'd say that. How do you think Serus is doing? Surely, you don't want to be responsible for another-"

I clocked back my other fist, glowing with white-hot energy. His eyes widened, and he opened his mouth to say something. I threw him up, timed my hit, and met his skull. Instead of disappearing, he flew off into the distance, probably to hit the ground.

I fell to a knee as my rush of energy left me. My sight swirled, and I once again had a sharp headache. Feeling something hit me in the back, the headache lessened, but it sounded suspiciously like glass.

Turning around, I saw Athara looking off into the distance to where I falco-punched Redonath. Picking up a piece if glass that was on the ground, I got to my feet and watched it disappear in my hand.

"So?" I asked. "It seems that you have a lot to tell me."

She shook her head. "Firstly, we need to check on the king. If everything went to plan, he should be safe."

"But-" I started to say, pointing at the fallen crown.

"Decoy." She interrupted. "We placed a fake crown in order to trick him. Korthall should be underground with 5 of our best guards."

"Then it can wait!" I snapped. "You and Redonath clearly knew each other. He called you Sara! Why the fuck would he call you Sara?" I gestured to Kat, who was looking at this with a confused look. "And who the hell is her?"

"I have a name, Orange." She huffed.

"I also have a name!" I huffed back. "And I've told you it!"

"Enough." Athara stepped between us. "Alex, I will tell you in due time, but now is not that time. Kat_Kin, check the area for surviving guards. And put on a different pair of armor, please. You look like a Griefer."

[Gimero]

My first thought was oh, well, followed closely by what the heck, me? You're going to let him just die?

So I did something. Something that I regretted almost immediately.

With a loud ZWIP! I appeared in between Sileeno and Kam-something, holding my frying pan at him threateningly. I stuffed the remainder of my pearls away and held the pan with two hands.

Kam looked at me, his trident still raised. I swallowed audibly and stood there. I neglected to tell him I was paralyzed, not because if choice but because I couldn't open my jaw.

I only moved when he raised a hand, in which I smacked him with my frying pan, grabbed Sileeno, and dragged him out of the way of the trident that was soon thrown after.

The engineer scrambled to his feet and pushed me to the side as the trident came at us again. I landed and rolled to the left, though 'rolled' implied I did it out of acrobatic prowess. In fact, it consisted of mostly sliding until I managed to halt it. Did Sileeno have that much strength? Nah. I just had terrible reflexes.

Kam decided that he wanted me dead first, as he turned to me with the grace of an elephant. I scrambled to my feet, held up my frying pan and fishing rod, and said "I'm absolutely not worth it! Go for the other dude!"

"This'll be quick." He merely stated, more to himself than to me. Sadly, I had to agree with his assessment.

I yelped as the trident slammed into my chest plate, sending me sprawled onto my back. I saw a glimpse of a white blur behind him, followed by a loud BOOM!

The trident flew back to Kam's hand as he turned to the noise of the sound. Reaching for my pearls, I threw one over a shelf. When Kam turned to me, I appeared on the other side with a zwip!

Sileeno tripped over my body, hitting the ground with an echoing thud. He quickly got up with a little more grace then our Griefer friend.

"Get up, Guided!" He scolded, showing me a block of TNT. "This strategy certainly is not working."

"Strategy?" I mumbled, holding my head as I got up.

"Whatever you call this!" He gestured his free hand. Missing me mumble "Chaos," he continued.

"I will set up a trap." He showed me his TNT for the fifth time. I frowned, my mind racing faster then light.

"How are we going to get him to- "

"HEY!" The Griefer yelled, looking at us from the other side of the alley, trident aloft. Sileeno quickly placed two blocks vertically, blocking the projectile.

"Figure it out!" He snapped, pushing me around the blockade. I stumbled forward; my frying pan held in front of me. Kam bull rushed me, his trident flying back to his hand and aimed forward. I stepped to the side and brought my pan down on him. He quickly snapped up and swung his trident to meet my pan violently, tearing my cooking utensil out of my hands.

I stepped away from him, backing up to a shelf. I reached my hand into a chest, whipping out a wooden shovel and swinging it at him. He caught it in between the prongs of the trident and twisted, spinning the shovel clattering to the ground.

Pearl time.

Once again, I disappeared from my spot and appeared further down the alley. I caught myself from falling by sticking both my hands out, but a cold feeling fell over me. Looking up slowly, I saw a massive figure towering over me.

"Oh."

[Sileeno]

"Now, the placing of this TNT is imperative," I muttered to myself. "The trajectory of the trinitrotoluene is quintessential to success. If I can get a flection of 82.34176 degrees, then we shall -"

The sound of something slamming into a wall echoed throughout the warehouse. I winced and finished the trap I had laid. I would explain it, but I've learned that simpletons tend to not pay attention.

Kam's trident flew overheard, nearly impaling the wooden button I had placed. Frowning, I put up a cobblestone blockade in front of the button to avoid a nuclear fallout.

"H-hey!" Kam's voice rang out shakily. "Fight me yourself, coward!"

And to that, Gimero responded "Nope!" and the sound of heavy footsteps followed.

"YOU INSULT GIMERO!?" The voice of an Iron Golem roared. "NOW, FISH-MAN DIE!"

"Fi-fishman?" Kam repeated, more confused then scared. "Oh. Wai-"

I only saw the result, not the beginning, as the Griefer land with a splash into my modified TNT cannon. Looking up at me, he gave me a pleasing look as I poked the button.

"Off to the upper atmosphere with you." I stated, as he flew an undetermined amount of distance down the warehouse. It would have been determined, had I not had a disruption in my calculations.

The blue figure of Gimero walked around the corner and jogged up to me. Behind him followed a massive beast of stone and steel.

Nodding with approval, I gestured at the Iron Golem. "I see you built an Iron Golem."

"Huh?" He frowned. "Oh! Uh, I didn't build this one. Josie, this is Sileeno. Sileeno, Josie."

"Josie?" I repeated, looking at the hulk. "Doesn't quite feel li-"

"PUNY SILEENO INSULT GIMERO!?" Josie roared.

"No, you ignoramus! I am disparaging you!" I waved my hand at the hulk. She scratched her head with her nonexistent hands and looked at Gimero, who shrugged.

"No smash?" He asked, then with finality, "Let's hit that button."
