McFly Residence

Marty woke up from his alarm and went to the breakfast table. "Morning Marty. Breakfast is ready" Lorraine said. Upon entering the table, George turns on the news and sees that they're explaining Doc's disappearance along with the upcoming garage/estate sale this weekend. "Local inventor and physicist Dr. Emmett Lathrop Brown has been missing for 6 ½ months and there has been no sign of him being around Hill Valley or near the area. A local teenager, Hill Valley High School student, and son of author George McFly Marty McFly claims that he doesn't lnow where Doc is but states he's still alive somewhere he just doesn't know where. Because of Dr. Brown's sudden disappearance, the Hill County Bank will be selling all of his stuff in his home garage next to Burger King to use that for a new parking garage" News reporter says before Marty turns it off. "Hey! I was watching that Marty!" George yelled. "This isn't right! Doc's not dead! He's alive somewhere! I've got to stop at the bank sometime after school today to try and stop that sale the next two days!" Marty yelled. "I know this upsets you but if Doc hasn't been around for a certain amount of time then the bank will have it's right to sell it's stuff and make it into a new parking garage" George says. "But still" Marty says. The phone rings and George answers it, "Hello" It was the Hill County Bank telling him that he will be in charged of the sale. "Ok that will be great, I'll let Marty know bye" George says before hanging up. "Marty that was the bank and they're putting me in charge of the sale this weekend" George says. "Can't you at least try to tell them that Doc isn't dead?" Marty asks. "I could but I don't think it would work out" George says. "Anyways gotta go pick up Jennifer for school, I'll see you two later" Marty says.

Hill County Bank

After school Marty and Jennifer swing by the Hill County Bank to try to talk to them about stopping the estate sale. "Are you sure this is going to work?" Jennifer asks. "I hope so" Marty answers. They make it inside and wait to see a representative. "Is there a representative available?" Marty asks the secretary. "There won't be one for another 30 minutes so just wait over there and we'll call you once one is available" Secretary says. After 30 minutes, a representative calls them over. "What would you two like to speak about today?" Bank representative asks. "Look I know you won't believe me on this, but Dr. Emmett Brown is still alive somewhere he just never told me where. So you've got to talk to the bank manager and stop this weekends sale at his garage" Marty demands. "Aren't you that guy who used to stop by his place almost everyday when he was here?" Bank representative asks. "Yes I'm the son of author George McFly and Emmett Brown's best friend. And this morning you guys put my dad in charge of the sale" Marty says. "I'm sorry Mr. McFly but that's only a thing we could call your father about unless you have proof that he's alive somewhere" Bank representative says. "I wish I did but I don't" Marty says. "Then I'm gonna have to ask you two to leave" Bank representative says. "Alright fine we'll leave" Marty says. They then leave to go back to their homes.

Marty makes it home and sees Biff waxing George's car. Biff moves out of the way to let Marty park in the garage. "Hey Marty, looking forward to that sale at the old coots garage?" Biff asks. "No Biff I'm not" Marty says. "Oh come on McFly you know that old coots been dead for nearly 7 months now so get over it and move on with your life butthead!" Biff yells. "Excuse me Biff! Don't ever call me a butthead! My dad might not be around for a moment but that doesn't give you the right to call me one!" Marty yells. "Biff! I heard that from over here!" George yells. "Oh sorry Mr. McFly I didn't know. I'll finish your car then move on to Marty's truck" Biff says. "You better" George says. Marty then moves on to go into the house. "Dad I just tried talking with the bank about Doc and they won't believe me" Marty says. "Well Marty as much as this upsets you, there's nothing we could do about it but tomorrow morning we can try to stop the sale" George says. "Ok dad I guess we can try tomorrow" Marty says.

Later that night Marty struggles to fall asleep as thoughts about the estate sale run through his mind. He sees a photo of him and Doc standing near the clock in 1885 and starts to cry a bit. "Oh Doc, why did you choose to stay in the late 19th century with Clara rather than move back here with me?" Marty asks while crying. While feeling angry at Clara for ruining their plans to go back to 1985 together, he at the same time felt happy for Doc that he had a better life in the west. "I hope during your visit to the future that you found out about the estate sale. But it seems like you didn't know about this" Marty says. "I just wish you and your family would just move back here even if it means waiting until the mid-1990s to do so due to Jules and Verne." He then tried to fall asleep but he didn't do so until around 2-3 in the morning.
