Chapter 9: Attacked On The Street, Part 4
Meanwhile, Lora's Karma Chameleon shot out a powerful laser at Ashley and Jocelyn. They both avoided the laser as it made an impact on the ground.
"This is not good." Ashley said. "I was just gonna have a normal car ride to my house where my husband and my son will be waiting with my niece and THIS has to happen."
"What should we do?!" Jocelyn said in fear.
"Calm down, Jocelyn. We're gonna have to find a way to get out of this… Hopefully…"
Lora then walks over to them.
"You two are so unlucky to be in this situation right now. I have the advantage, and there is NOTHING you two can do!" Lora shouted. "(Has Karma Chameleon charged its laser on them) Get ready for another attack that will take you two to hell!"
Then, Lora felt something on her left leg.
"Huh?" Lora said as she looked down to see a starfish with claws on her leg. "EWWW! GET THAT THING OFF OF ME!"
"What the heck?" Jocelyn wonders.
"(Looks at the starfish on Lora's leg and gasps) Hold on, is that another Stand? Looks like someone is tryna save us!" Ashley said.
Lora then stops and turns behind her. She sees a boy.
"Silent is all I need for this saving." He said. "That starfish on your leg is a parasite. I call that parasite, Chocolate Starfish. My Stand will attach itself to one of your limbs, arms or legs, and bite it all down to bone."
"Grr… Damn you brat! Lora shouted as she aimed Karma Chameleon at the guy. "You dare interrupt an adult at his or her work?! You shall pay the price!"
While Lora was distracted, Ashley got up.
"Stay there, Jocelyn." Ashley said. "Now is my chance."
Jocelyn nodded. Ashley went over to Lora and used As The Dragonfly Flies to tap her on her shoulder.
"Huh?" Lora said.
"Eat this!" Ashley shouted as her Stand punched Lora in the face, falling to the ground.
"Return, Chocolate Starfish!" The boy said as his Stand, Chocolate Starfish was called back to him. "(Looks at Ashley) Thanks for the help. I was also helping you and that girl out."
"It's nothing. Hold on, Kaihekoa? Is that you?" Ashley asked.
"Yep, that's me, Miss Grain." Kaihekoa replied. "(Looks at Lora) I'll talk to you and that girl later. For now, let's take out the trash."
Kaihekoa then walks to stay close to Ashley and Jocelyn.
"(Gets up) Damn it all! To hell with these people!" Lora shouted. "(Gets out Karma Chameleon and aims at Ashley and Kaihekoa) I will not let this slide! Shoot the laser, Karma Chameleon!"
When Karma Chameleon fires the laser, Jocelyn runs forth to use Thunder to punch the laser away.
"ORA!" Thunder shouted.
"Sorry, I had to protect you." Jocelyn said.
"Thanks for the help, Jocelyn." Ashley said as she and As The Dragonfly Flies went over to Lora.
"(Gasps) No wait! Don't hurt me!" Lora shouted.
"Nope, I'm STILL gonna hurt you!" Ashley shouted. "Trying to hurt me and my niece! I don't want you to hurt me or my family again!"
As The Dragonfly then performed its rush attack on Lora.
"BUZZAAAAAAAH!" As The Dragonfly Flies shouted.
"GAAAAAAAH!" Lora shouted as she blew away.
Lora was then blown away. She slowly got up.
"No, I can't do this anymore." Lora said as she slowly got up. "I will not accept this job anymore… I can tell that Christopher is out there, killed… I gotta tell them the bad news on Christopher…"
Lora then slowly walks away.
"(Sighs) Glad I didn't kill her." Ashley said. "(Looks at Kaihekoa) Been forever, Kaihekoa."
"Yes, it really is." Kaihekoa said.
"You two know each other?" Jocelyn asked.
"Yes, I was his teacher in the 8th Grade." Ashley replied. "At that middle school I worked as a science teacher."
"I was a hard-working student." Kaihekoa said. "Science was my best subject. Now that I'm in high school, in my senior year, I get to see if my challenges will meet to become a future biologist."
"Good for you."
"(Looks at Jocelyn) Who's that?"
"My niece, Jocelyn Joestar."
"So that's her name…"
"Hi? I'm Jocelyn?" Jocelyn said, confused.
"I'm Kaihekoa Allen." Kaihekoa said. "Me and another friend of mine wanted to protect you. We were told by some dude that he spoke with your father, Joshua."
"Dad… He's in the hospital…"
"Oh? What from?"
"From an illness that he has, and I don't know what."
"Hmmm… I don't know what to answer to this situation…"
Then, Kaihekoa saw Iz walking to them.
"Kaihekoa! Are they safe?" Iz asked.
"Yes." Kaihekoa replied. "Glad you're safe as well, Iz."
"Who's that?"
"Oh! That's another one of my students in my science class! They are both from Hawaii." Ashley replied.
"I'm Iz Kamaka. Call me Iz." Iz said.
"Confusing name, but ok." Jocelyn said.
"You're Jocelyn Joestar, right? This guy told me and Kaihekoa about you and he told us that he spoke with your father, Joshua."
"Yes, I am Jocelyn."
"She told me that her father is in the hospital from a mysterious illness." Kaihekoa said.
"Hmm… Weird, but we'll solve this mystery on who has done it." Iz said.
"Ok, enough talking. Let's go to my house. My husband is waiting for me. I can sense it." Ashley said. "You three can talk about it later."
"Ok, we will." Iz said. "(Looks at Jocelyn) Oh, Jocelyn. You know someone named Clayton Lovato?"
"Yes, that's my friend." Jocelyn replied.
"He's fine. He was also attacked by an enemy Stand User. Luckily, I saved him."
"Thanks." Jocelyn said. "Really mean it."
Jocelyn and the others then went into Ashley's car and continued the drive to Ashley's house.
