DAMN! A/N: Ahoy ta everyone reading mah fics! Sorry that ah haven't upload a single chapter for a while ah'm just really busy with work and personal life. But ah'm back with a new chaptah, so let's get it on!

As everyone made their way to the gymnasium inside the Canterlot Academy, the scene focuses back on the obstacle course, Twilight finally got herself free from the vine's grasp, she quickly somersaulted over a vine that Spike is biting at, grabbing the device from the ground before closing it with her all her might. And with that, the plant monsters began retract back into the portals before closing off, leaving no trace of their presence.
Spike turns to her owner in concern while Twilight bit her lip nervously.
Meanwhile, Double D, Rolf and Alejandro Burromuerto ran towards the girls, "Everyone okay?" the sock-wearing boy asked in concern.
Sunset Shimmer got off her bike, "We're fine, Eddward." she reassured.
"Anyone else are all right?" Applejack asked.
Rainbow Dash then landed down between Rarity and Applejack, "Better than all right!" she declared with her arms and fist stretched upwards.
"You all did a great job out there, ladies." Double D complimented, "Both in the race and fending off those things." he pointed out while referring to the plant monsters.
Sunset then took off her helmet, "Yeah, we won," she noted, "But somebody could've been seriously hurt!" she pointed out, "The magic is going haywire and I have no idea how to fix it!" she yelled out of frustration while the others looks at her in concern.
Alejandro placed a hand on her shoulders, "Sunset, you have to calm down.'' he advised, "I know you're frustrated of what just happened but beating yourself over it won't solve anything." he stated.
"Pretty-boy Alejandro is right." Rolf said in agreement, "But Rolf must question what cause the phenomenon you call portal in our presence?" he thought out loud.
"Um, excuse me." a voice spoke. Everyone turns to see Twilight standing a few feet away from them, "I... didn't mean for any of this to happen." she admitted apologetically, "I just wanted to learn about the strange energy coming from your school, I didn't know that it was magic or... how it works..." she explained while holding up her device.
"That's okay." Rainbow reassured waking over to her, "Neither do we." she admitted with an uncaring manner.
Suddenly, the device around Twilight's neck turns on again and pointed itself towards the rainbow haired girl's direction, "Oh, no!" she yelped with the device popping open, "Oh, no no no!" she cried out while tugging her necklace, "Not again!" she yelled while the device began sucking away the light blue energy from Rainbow causing her to kneel down in fatigue, much to everyone's shock.
"Dash!" everyone shouted in concern with Alejandro, Rolf and Sunset running towards Rainbow before kneeling down next to her.
"I'm sorry!" Twilight cried in apology, "It just started absorbing energy on its own!" she exclaimed, "But I'm not sure how!" she admitted as she tries to stop her device.
Sunset turns to her, "What do you mean you don't know how?!" she demanded in question.
Suddenly, a small spark shot up into the sky from it which causes another large portal open right above everyone, much to their horror, "It also causes these corresponding rifts to appear!" Twilight added, "I don't know how that works either." she admitted.
As this is going, Principal Abacus Cinch witnessed this from a far while hiding behind the announcer's booth.
"Is there anything you do know?!" Sunset yelled in anger, "Like how to get our magic back?! " she demanded, "Or how to fix the portal to Equestria?!" she added.
"Equestria?" Twilight asked in confusion.
"You're supposed to be so smart, but did you ever think that you shouldn't be messing around with things you don't understand?!" Sunset ranted in frustration before closing the device with both hands, causing the portal closes.
"But I wanna understand!" Twilight reasoned with an apologetic look.
"But you don't!" Sunset declared, "And worst of all, you put the lives of my friends in danger!" she pointed out.
Twilight then tears up, "I-I'm sorry..." she apologized with her voice cracking up, "I didn't mean to..." she said before running off crying.
Spike then ran after her, "Twilight, wait!" he called out.
Everyone stares at Sunset with wide eyes and their mouths were wide open, they've seen Sunset angry once before during her alpha-bitch days but they never expected her to be this genuinely angry which is justified after what just transpired.
Double D then spoke, "Miss Sunset... I think that was too much." he pointed out in shock.
"Indeed, darling." Rarity said in agreement, "I know your frustrated with a lot of things but you don't need to vent it out to the poor girl, she's just as confused as we are." she chastised.
Rainbow then placed a hand on Sunset's shoulder, the bacon-haired girl's eyes widen in realization before facepalming, immediately regretting yelling at Twilight.
"Ugh! Can things get any more worse?!" Sunset grumbled in disbelief.
"SUNSET SHIMMER!" an angry voice called out.
Everyone turns around to see Hannah marching towards their direction with an angry expression, Trenderhoof following her from behind with a panicked expression.
"It just got worse." Pinkie Pie pipes in.
"Hannah! Hannah! Calm down!" Trenderhoof advised, "I believe there's a reasonable explanation why Twilight is crying." he tried to reason with her but she ignored him.
And to everyone's shock, Hannah grabs Sunset by the collar and pulled the girl close to her, "What did you do to Twilight?!" she demanded with gritted teeth and sharp eyes.
Terrified at the face Hannah is giving her, Sunset began to sweat, "Hannah... I-I'm sorry..." she apologized, "I-I didn't mean to make Twilight cry..." she tried to reason only for her eyes widening in fear when Hannah raised a fist up with the fully intention of punching her but fortunately for Sunset, Double D immediately caught Hannah's wrist, stopping her.
"Hannah! Cease your violent urges!" Double D demanded, "This is not who you are from before." he hissed.
Hannah glares at Sunset for a few minutes before snarling a bit, she then proceeds to let go of the girl by tossing her aside, sending Sunset falling down to the ground before walking off.
"Hannah!" Trenderhoof called out before turning to everyone, "Sorry about that." he apologized, "I understand that Sunset doesn't mean to make Twilight cry and I understand that there's some sort of misunderstanding or miscommunication here." he said, "We'll come back later once Hannah calms down and talk things out." he stated before running off to catch-up with Hannah.
"Well at least that guy is keeping his cool." Rainbow pointed out.
Applejack then helps Sunset up, "You okay, Sunset?" the stetson-wearing girl asked in concern.
Sunset shook her head, "I'm fine." she answered, "Shaken but I'm fine." she admitted, "Never expect to see Hannah getting that angry over Twilight." she admitted.
Fluttershy then spoke, "Well... Twilight happens to be Hannah's best friend, so it's has to be expected." she stated, "If someone made Rainbow Dash cry then I would have done the same thing." she admitted.
Rainbow crosses her arms, "Which will never happen." she muttered.
"Also... was Hannah really that strong?" Sunset asked, "The way she gripped my collar and tossing me aside is really something." she stated.
Double D chuckled nervously, "I think you're just imagining things, Miss Sunset." he replied before shaking her head, "Anyway... I believe you should apologize to Miss Twilight tomorrow, Miss Sunset." he advised, "And dear lord, I hope that Hannah would forgive you for making her closest friend cry." he stated.
Sunset sighed in response, "Okay..." she complied.
Then Apple White and Raven Queen walks towards them, "Hey guys." the latter greeted, "Congrats on the wining the course." she complimented, "But what just happened?" she asked.
Rolf then spoke, "Bacon-hair Sunset made horse princess' counterpart cry and egghead-Ed boy's sister not related by blood almost punch bacon-hair girl on the face." he explained.
Apple gasped in shock, "Oh dear! Are you all right, Sunset?" she asked in concern.
"I'm fine, Apple." Sunset reassured, "But I still need to apologize to Twilight and clear things up with Hannah." she stated.
Meanwhile besides the announcer's booth, Cinch overheard everything and let's out a smirk, she then heard the sound of a clearing throat behind her, she turns around and saw Principal Celestia, Vice Principal Luna, Dean Cadance and Milton & Giles Grimm standing behind her.
"You can't possibly call that a fair race!" Cinch pointed out.
"Principal Cinch, we all saw what happened." Celestia countered, "You can't think CA had some kind of advantage..." she pointed out with Milton nodding in agreement.
"Can't I?" Cinch questioned with narrowed eyes, "Even without your trained attack plants, your students have wings!" she pointed out with the group overhearing her complains.
"Well, the race certainly had some... extenuating circumstances." Celestia admitted, "Perhaps we should end the games now and declare a tie..." she suggested.
"A tie?" Cinch squawked in surprise, "Was this your strategy all along?" she questioned, "To force us into accepting you as equals?" she accused, "I think not!" she declared in a dignified manner, "The games will continue and Crystal Prep will prevail despite your antics and whatever performance-enhancing regimen your students are on!" she declared before walking off with a huff.
Milton then spoke, "I can't believe I'm saying this..." he admitted, "By the Gods... she's a bitch!" he exclaimed in disbelief.
Giles nodded in agreement, "I agree with you, brother." he replied.
Sunset then walks towards Celestia, "I'm sorry I couldn't stop all this from happening...'' she apologized with her head down.
"It's not your fault, Sunset.'' Celestia reassured.
"Isn't it though?" Sunset asked while everyone looks at her in concern, "I should know how to control the magic I brought here..." she said, "But I don't..." she admitted shamefully, "I let everyone down and now Principal Cinch thinks we're cheating." she pointed out in frustration with clenched fist.
"It doesn't matter what Principal Cinch thinks." Celestia reassured while placing her right hand on Sunset's left shoulder.
But Sunset backs away from her, "But it does!" she insisted, "The students here at CHS don't just wanna win!" she pointed out, "They wanna beat Crystal Prep, it isn't gonna count if the other side doesn't really think they lost!" she pointed out, "Crystal Prep is never gonna believe we won fair and square if there's magic around and that magic is only around... because of me..." she confessed in sadness while everyone looks at her sympathy.
"I hope what happened today won't affect the game for tomorrow." Raven muttered in concern.
"I really hope that tomorrow's game will be the last." Fluttershy confessed.
"Unless the game tomorrow ended up in a triple tie then we have a problem." Alejandro stated.
"That's unlikely to happen my dear." Rarity pointed out.
The next day at Canterlot Academy, everyone are gathered around the front entrance of the facility with CA, EAH and CPA students sitting on bleachers at different sides of the walkway.
And despite the looming dark clouds above, everyone are getting ready for the last game to determined the winner of this year's Friendship Games as the Rainbooms are seen getting ready in between the stands of their side while Double D, Rolf and Alejandro are seen amongs the crowds.
Alejandro looks up at the sky, "Should we really be doing this right now?'' he questioned, "I gotta feeling the rain is gonna pour down any time soon." he pointed out.
Double D sighed, "Principal Celestia and the others wanted to postponed the games today but Principal Cinch insisted it that they do it today." he explained.
"Rolf feels the dread." Rolf confessed.
At the school's footsteps, we see Cadance and Luna standing near a microphone stand with Celestia and the Grimm brothers off to the side.
"Since the score is tied..." Cadance spoke, "... the final event will determine the winner of the Friendship Games." she declared.
Luna then took over, "Somewhere on campus..." she spoke with two small pennants in her right hand, "... a pennant from each school has been hidden." she explained, "The first team to find their school's flag and bring it back wins." she declared.
Cadance took over once more, "And as soon as our teams are ready, we'll begin." she announced.
Back with the Rainbooms, Fluttershy spoke, "I don't feel like playing these games anymore..." she admitted rubbing her left arm.
Rainbow turns to her, "But we have to play!" she insisted, "This is the last event!" she pointed out while gesturing a hand towards the center of walkway.
Rarity let's out a scoff, "It's a little hard to focus with all the magic stealing... and portal opening." she pointed out.
Sunset spoke, "I still feel bad for Twilight." she admitted.
"Especially since she obviously didn't mean to do all the stuff she did." Fluttershy pointed out, "She's actually really nice..." she added.
Applejack then spoke, "Let's just get through this last event and prove we're not a bunch of cheaters." she advised before walking towards Sunset while placing her left hand on her shoulder in reassurance, "Then after that, you cam make things up with Twilight." she added with a smile.
Sunset smiled back, "Thanks, Applejack." she replied.
As this is going on, we see Cinch having a discussion with her students at the other side and unknown to them, Spike is seen peeking his head out from the bushes.
"I'm know I'm asking you to beat a team that isn't playing fair." Cinch admitted while Twilight waves a hand towards Spike, telling him to hide as he did so, "But Canterlot Academy must be made to understand that even with magic at their disposal, beating Crystal Prep is simply not an option." she explained with a declaration.
"What if they grow wings again?" Sugarcoat questioned with her hands on her hips.
Cinch then approaches Twilight, "A fair question." she responded, "Though I believe we can now fight fire with fire." she pointed out, "I've seen what your device can do, Twilight." she noted, "Containing magical energy is fine but have you considered releasing it?" she pointed out with a question.
"But... I don't even understand how it works." Twilight admitted.
"But you'd like to..." Cinch goaded, "And since our opponents have already used it to stay competitive." she claimed, "I see no reason why we shouldn't do the same." she said, "Unless, of course, you have no interest in Everton.'' she pointed out, "Though, honestly, I think there's more knowledge packed in that little device than any independent study program could offer." she said while Twilight looks down in worry.
"You better stop goading Twilight or else." a voice threatened.
Everyone turns around to see Hannah walking towards them with a very serious expression with Trenderhoof walking behind her and while Trenderhoof is keeping a brave face, his legs are shaking in anxiety.
"Hannah..." Twilight muttered.
Cinch clicked her tongue, "So, the two of you finally decided to go against me." she pointed out.
Hannah gave Cinch a soul-piercing glare, "Of course." she confirmed, "And for a good reason." she said.
