True Heroes
Despite the overwhelming odds Big Hero 6 and the Incredibles were still doing their best to defeat Sickness' army of Omnibots. Honey Lemon and Violet were pinned down as Violet had a force-field protecting them as several Omnibots fired their laser cannons at them. With the force-field up Honey Lemon could not throw any of her chem-balls at them and they were not letting up. Violet looked determined as she tried to think of something, when suddenly she got an idea.
She glanced at Jack-Jack then turned to the Omnibots as she said, "Jack-Jack attack!"
Jack-Jack understood as he narrowed his eyes and teleported out of Honey Lemon's arms and reappeared next to the Omnibots. Honey Lemon gasped in fear before sparks of electricity surged from Jack-Jack's body and shocked two Omnibots at his sides, overloading them and causing them to shut down. The Omnibots turned their attention to Jack-Jack, prompting Violet to drop her force-field as she and Honey Lemon watched the super powered baby. Jack-Jack suddenly duplicated himself and they all looked angry as they fired laser beams from their eyes in different directions, destroying several Omnibots. Afterwards they joined back into one Jack-Jack and he giggled happily before hearing a noise and turning to see three Omnibots flying toward them. The three of them fired their laser cannons at Jack-Jack, and he got scared as he used his super speed to zip around and avoid their shots.
Honey Lemon narrowed her eyes as she pushed buttons on her purse, then threw two balls of nitroglycerin at the Omnibots. They both exploded when they hit two of the Omnibots and destroyed them, then Violet launched a large force-field barrier at the third one and destroyed it. Honey Lemon used more chem-balls trap two more Omnibots in big purple sticky globs, they struggled to escape but couldn't. Violet went to go get Jack-Jack suddenly another Omnibot landed behind Violet and punched her to the ground. She rolled across the street as she let out a cry of pain, prompting Jack-Jack to look at her with concern. Violet was trying to get back up when the Omnibot stomped toward her and prepared to slam its fist down onto her again. Jack-Jack growled angrily as he zoomed toward the Omnibot and then phased himself into its torso. The Omnibot stopped and looked around before it suddenly exploded; standing in its place was Jack-Jack in his monster form with his body on fire as he screamed in rage.
Violet got up and smiled as she said, "Thanks Jack-Jack."
She and Honey Lemon watched as the flaming monster baby ran on all fours to another Omnibot, jumped at it, climbed up its body, and ripped off its head. He started jumping up and down on its headless body as angrily shouted some strange baby gibberish while Honey Lemon watched with a slightly scared expression. Meanwhile Dash was running through the streets on his own with five Omnibots flying close behind him. He smiled as he ran down a narrow alley, and two of the Omnibots crashed into the walls at the sides and blew up, while the remaining three were gaining on Dash. There was a wall dead a head but Dash ran vertically up the wall, which the Omnibots crashed into while Dash stopped when he was on the roof.
He smiled victoriously as he cheered, "Yeah!"
Suddenly another Omnibot landed behind him and prepared to attack when suddenly its head was knocked off by a flying disk. Dash turned around and saw its body fall down with Go Go standing behind it as the disk returned to her while she smiled.
Dash gratefully said, "Thanks Go Go."
Go Go smiled as she said, "Don't mention it kid. Now let's move!"
They both zoomed off the roof and back into the street as Go Go threw her disks at some Omnibots that were on the ground. She smiled smugly when suddenly an Omnibot flew next to her and swung its fist at her, knocking her to the ground. She groaned as she got on her knees when the Omnibot landed and prepared to fire its right laser cannon at her. Suddenly Dash ran to it and pushed its arm away so it missed its shot, it tried to punch him but Dash dodged it and ran around it in a circle. The Omnibot spun its head around but it could not move it fast enough when suddenly Dash climbed on its back and rapidly punched it in its red visor. After over a dozen rapid punches Dash kicked it in the optic visor and broke it, causing it to fall down.
Go Go got up when Dash zipped toward her and she complimented him and said, "They're too slow for you."
Dash pointed his thumb at himself as he bragged, "Yeah! They can't catch me, because I'm the Dash!"
Go Go playfully pointed at him and said, "Yeah, the Incredible Dash!"
Dash was intrigued as he said, "Ooh I like that!"
Suddenly more Omnibots came flying toward them and Go Go seriously said, "Worry about later. Let's go!"
They both zoomed off to continue fighting all the Omnibots, meanwhile Hiro and Baymax were flying in the air with several Omnibots pursuing them. They were firing their laser cannons at Hiro and Baymax, who performed various maneuvers to narrowly avoid their shots.
Hiro urgently spoke into his communicator as he said, "Guys, we've got a bunch of bots on our tail and we can't shake em! We need help!"
He heard Honey Lemon speak as she said, "Bring them to us Hiro! We'll help!"
Baymax located Honey Lemon, Violet, and Jack-Jack and flew to their location with the Omnibots following them. When they saw Hiro and Violet approaching with all the Omnibots, Honey Lemon immediately picked up Jack-Jack.
She held him in her arms as she urgently said, "Jack-Jack laser eyes!"
She repeatedly said "pew" as fired his lasers and destroyed four of the Omnibots, then Hiro and Baymax landed be between her and Violet. The remaining Omnibots were coming close as Honey Lemon narrowed her eyes and put Jack-Jack down. She typed some buttons on her Chem-Purse and then four blue Chem-Balls came out and she threw them down on the street in front of them. Immediately after they popped they formed a large blue solid wall that sprouted up over teen feet. The Omnibots crashed into the blue wall and blew up.
Hiro climbed off Baymax and gratefully said, "Thanks guys. We owe you."
Suddenly, one by one, over a dozen Omnibots landed and surrounded them as Violet said, "Well here's your chance!"
All the Omnibots came at them but Violet, Hiro, and Honey Lemon dodged them, while Baymax smashed two with his fists. Suddenly Jack-Jack teleported on the head of one of the Omnibots and turned into metal before jumping up and down, smashing its head into its body, crushing it. Another Omnibot came and grabbed him but Jack-Jack started vibrating his body, shaking the Omnibot before shooting his laser eyes at its head, destroying it. Meanwhile Violet and Hiro were standing back to back as two Omnibots came at them from opposite directions. Both fourteen-year-olds were cornered as one of the Omnibots tried to punch Hiro, but he ducked and shoved Violet out of the way. Hiro quickly slid between the Omnibot's legs and used his electromagnets to repel the Omnibot from behind and knock it into the other one, destroying both of them.
Violet stood up and smiled at him until two more Omnibots came behind both of them, but the two heroes immediately defended each other. They ran past each other as Violet launched a flat force-field projectile horizontally at the first Omnibot, slicing it in half. Hiro used his magnets to attract the separate arm of an Omnibot into his hands then he reversed their polarity and launched the arm at the second Omnibot, smashing it to pieces. Hiro and Violet turned back to each other and smiled anxiously as they continued fighting the Omnibots. Meanwhile Honey Lemon held two purple Chem-balls and threw them at the torsos of two Omnibots in front of her. After they popped a sticky elastic-like purple substance stretched between them before it pulled them together, slamming them into each other.
Jack-Jack suddenly teleported in front of Baymax when two Omnibots tried to grab him, but Baymax immediately defended him as he flew at them and grabbed them. A few more came at Jack-Jack when suddenly he sneezed and launched himself high in the air with a trail of smoke coming from his nose. They watched him and when he came back down he was in his giant chubby form as he fell on top of the Omnibots and crushed them under his butt. Another Omnibot flew in front of him and prepared to attack, but Jack-Jack grabbed it and started shaking it like a toy, then he grabbed its arm and leg and pulled on each before ripping it in half. He then started crying until Honey Lemon came and patted him on his cheek, then he smiled at her before shrinking to normal size. She picked him up and ran as another Omnibot came toward them, and they joined Hiro and Violet. Three Omnibots surrounded them but suddenly another one came hurtling at them and crashed into one of the three, leaving only two operational. Baymax landed behind them and raised both his arms straight out to his sides before launching both rocket fists in opposite directions, destroying the last two Omnibots.
They finally caught a breather as Honey Lemon happily said, "Great work everyone! That was great!"
Violet glanced around and noticed all the other Omnibots in the city as she said, "Don't celebrate yet; there's a lot more where they came from."
Hiro noticed some more Omnibots flying toward them and got on Baymax as he said, "She's right we gotta keep fighting! C'mon Baymax, let's get flying."
Baymax activated his wings and prepared to take off until Violet stopped them and said, "Wait! I'm going with you!"
Hiro was shocked as he said, "What?!"
Violet pointed her finger as she firmly said, "You need me! Baymax can fly but you're sitting ducks up there! My force-fields will protect you!"
Hiro thought for a moment before he looked at Honey Lemon and inquired, "Honey Lemon, can you…"
She smiled as she held Jack-Jack close and said, "Don't worry, I can handle myself. And I'll make sure nothing happens to Jack-Jack."
Hiro complied as he took Violet's hand and said, "Okay, let's go."
She wrapped her arms around him and held on tight before Baymax started flying and together they led some Omnibots away from away from Jack-Jack and Honey Lemon. However, a few more Omnibots landed in front of the two of them but Honey Lemon was ready to fight, and so was Jack-Jack. Meanwhile more Omnibots were flying after Hiro, Violet, and Baymax in the sky as they started firing their laser cannons at them. Baymax avoided their shots before turning around as he flew straight toward them and easily knocked away the first two. When the third one came he performed an axe kick and sent it crashing down to the street below. The last one flew at them and tried to punch Baymax, but he held his hand up and grabbed the Omnibot's fist, holding it in place. Then he crushed its hand and performed a roundhouse kick, knocking it into the side of a building to be destroyed.
Hiro pointed ahead and shouted, "Incoming!"
Five more Omnibots came flying toward them and they all fired their laser cannons at them, but Violet immediately held her hands out and created a force-field around the three of them. She maintained the sphere as they kept flying and it successfully deflected all of the blasts from the Omnibots. Hiro and Violet both showed determined smiles as they kept flying straight at the Omnibots, and crashed into them. The Omnibots exploded when they hit Violet's force-field as Baymax turned to ensure that they hit all of them.
After they were all destroyed Violet dropped her force-field and Hiro smiled back at her and said, "Great job Vi!"
Violet smiled at him before gasping in fear, then she pointed her finger and screamed, "Look out!"
Hiro looked ahead and saw several Omnibots flying toward them, they prepared to fight when suddenly something stretched around one of the robots and wrapped around it. They looked down to see that Helen had just lassoed the Omnibot with her arm and she had her other wrapped around a streetlight. With her arms stretched out she whirled around the streetlight and threw the Omnibot at one of the others, destroying both of them.
She stood on top of the streetlight as the Omnibots flew toward her, and she shouted, "Keep going kids!"
Baymax kept flying as Violet gratefully shouted, "Thanks mom!"
As they flew away the Omnibots flew at Helen but she stretched her body in different shapes and forms to dodge them. They stopped in midair and turned around as they hovered and aimed their laser cannons at Helen. She smiled as she jumped down from the streetlight, which Bob immediately ripped out of the ground and swung at the Omnibots like a bat. He swung it three times before he destroyed all of them, then he put it down and smiled, until he and Helen were surrounded by more Omnibots. Bob and Helen stood back-to-back before they split up and fought the Omnibots; Bob performed a shoulder charge as he knocked the first one down, then slammed his fists on it. Another came behind him and performed a roundhouse kick, but Bob grabbed its leg, swung the Omnibot over his shoulder, and slammed it into the ground.
Another Omnibot came flying at Bob, but he grabbed it by its wing, spun around, and threw it at another Omnibot, causing both to explode. Two more Omnibots came at Bob and punched him from opposite sides a few times, but Bob grabbed one by the arm and swung it around before smashing it into the other one. Meanwhile Helen was fighting an Omnibot on her own, it came at her but she vaulted over it, stretched her arms out, and wrapped them around its head from behind. She pulled tightly and forced onto its back before she stomped her foot on its red optic visor, destroying it. Two more Omnibots came at her from opposite directions, but she dodged them and caused them to slam into each other. Then Helen turned around and lashed her arms like a whip as she threw both Omnibots and sent them crashing through a wall. Suddenly four more Omnibots landed and activated their laser cannons as they targeted Helen.
They immediately started shooting at her but she used her agility and flexibility to successfully dodge all their blasts. She stretched her arms and legs out and did a cartwheel, then she stretched her legs to launch herself high in the air, then finally she swung from a streetlight toward one of the Omnibots. She stretched her arms out, grabbed the Omnibot, and pulled herself toward it at high speed with her leg out. She immediately kicked its head off and knocked its body to the ground, then she stretched out her body and curved it to avoid the shots of the remaining three. She ran to the second Omnibot and it tried to punch her, but she swiftly dodged it and slid between its legs before coming up behind it. She wrapped her arms around its left arm and ripped it off before grabbing it, whirling it around and throwing it at the third Omnibot. Both were destroyed and she leaped toward it before launching herself at it from her hands and kicking it in the face, breaking its visor and disabling it.
She noticed dozens of other Omnibots flying in their direction and turned to Bob as she yelled, "Bob slingshot!"
Bob destroyed one Omnibot when he heard her and noticed the Omnibots flying toward them, he nodded as he immediately understood. Helen jumped up, stretched her arms and legs out, wrapped them around lamp posts on the sides, stretched and flattened her body out, and Bob placed his back against her. He forced her backwards as she stretched her arms and legs further and he held on to her while she prepared to launch him. When they went far enough he glanced over his shoulder at Helen's head and nodded, he lifted his feet off the ground and she slingshotted him high into the air toward the Omnibots. Bob yelled in fury as he clinched his fists and then he went crashing through the Omnibots, taking out several of them with his fists before hitting the ground. The remaining Omnibots landed in front of him and prepared to fight when suddenly Helen came behind one and knocked it down.
Meanwhile Dash and Go Go were busy fighting some more Omnibots as they zoomed around in and circled around them. One Omnibot came flying at Go Go but she threw one of her disks at its head, knocking it off and sending its body crashing into two more Omnibots. The disk returned to her as she jumped up and threw her other one at an Omnibot standing close by; the disk hit its leg and caused it to trip. Just as it was getting she skated toward it at high speed and kicked it with her left skate, sending its head tumbling across the ground. While she did this Dash was fighting three Omnibots by himself as he avoided the shots from one of them. He swerved around as the Omnibot rapidly fired its laser cannons at him, then Dash passed in front of one of the other Omnibots. The Omnibot shooting missed Dash and destroyed the other Omnibot by mistake, and Dash laughed as he ran and stopped in front of the one that made the shot.
The Omnibot deactivated its weapons and repeatedly tried to punch and kick Dash, but he easily dodged its attacks. Dash smugly zipped from side to side before he rapidly punched it in its optic visor, but then it grabbed him by his arm and lifted him off the ground. Dash looked nervous as it held him in front of its visor, but Dash rapidly kicked it in its visor before finally breaking it. The Omnibot was deactivated as it released Dash before falling to the ground, then Dash turned to the third Omnibot. It began firing both its laser cannons at him but he avoided their shots and ran toward it before circling around it. It spun its head around but couldn't get a clear look at him, however it calculated his speed and course and held its left arm out, and Dash ran right into it. It lifted him off the ground and prepared to fire its right laser cannon at him as he gasped in fear and terror.
Suddenly they heard Go Go yell, "Hey!"
The Omnibot turned its head and the last thing it saw was Go Go skating toward it before she hit it in the visor with her right disk, still on her hand, and everything went dark. She successfully destroyed the Omnibot's head and knocked it to the ground, forcing it to release Dash.
Go Go smiled at Dash as she playfully said, "You need to work on your brakes."
Dash chuckled awkwardly and Go Go said, "Try and keep up."
She took off skating and Dash immediately followed her with a competitive smile on his face as they continued to battle the robot army. Meanwhile Jack-Jack and Honey Lemon were surrounded by dozens of Omnibots that were beginning to overpower them. Honey Lemon was doing her best to fend them off as she threw several Chem-balls that destroyed several of them, but there were too many for her to handle. While she held them off Jack-Jack was in his monstrous form while he used his super speed to attack an Omnibot next to Honey Lemon. He climbed up its body and rapidly punched it in its visor (like Dash would) before he ripped off its head and climbed inside its body. He started ripping apart its circuitry before the headless Omnibot fell on its back, then Jack-Jack phased through its torso and reverted to his human form.
Honey Lemon screamed as she picked him up and ran just before an Omnibot's laser blast could hit him. She held him close and they both became scared as the Omnibots closed in on them, prompting Honey Lemon to frantically type buttons on her purse. She immediately threw two pink balls down at the ground beside her, and together they formed a solid pink dome over herself and Jack-Jack. The Omnibots began punching the dome, at the moment it seemed they could not breach it, but the dome would not protect them for long.
Honey Lemon spoke into her communicator as she exclaimed, "Guys we need help! I can't hold them off much longer!"
She heard Fred's voice over the communicator as he said, "Don't worry Honey Lemon! Fredzilla to the rescue!"
Fred almost immediately jumped and landed in front of her pink dome, then he used his fire to take out a few Omnibots. The rest of them stopped hitting Honey Lemon's protective dome and turned their attention to Fred as they attacked him. They kept coming at Fred as he turned around and breathed more fire to burn them, and he successfully destroyed several of them. Suddenly, one Omnibot came up behind him and side kicked him to the ground; Fred groaned a bit before he remembered what Bob taught him. He got back up, hopped in front of the Omnibot that kicked him, and then he kicked it with his left leg and sent it flying backwards and destroying it.
Fred continued kicking the remaining Omnibots as he cheered, "Ha ha! Yeah! Super kick! Super kick! Super kick!"
It wasn't long before Fred took out all the Omnibots and Honey Lemon left the pink dome holding Jack-Jack in her arm.
Honey Lemon walked to Fred as she gratefully said, "Thanks Freddy. Great job!"
Jack-Jack made happy little baby noises as he smiled at Fred, who happily said, "Don't mention it Honey Lemon, Incredibaby. When San Fransokyo is in danger you know who to call!"
Suddenly a couple dozen more Omnibots landed nearby, but Jack-Jack jumped out of Honey Lemon's arms as he made angry sounds. He then grew to his large chubby size, then changed into his monster form and charged at the Omnibots and swung his fists down, smashing fore of them. One tried to shoot Jack-Jack but he quickly grabbed it in his hand and started swinging it down on top of other Omnibots, destroying them.
Fred and Honey Lemon watched as Fred anxiously said, "Why does he get to have all the fun?"
He ran to join Jack-Jack while Honey Lemon typed on her purse and pulled out a ball as she said, "Let's show them what we're made of!"
Meanwhile Hiro and Violet were still riding Baymax as they flew above the city and destroyed any Omnibot that came at them.
Baymax used karate moves to destroy five Omnibots while he said, "Roundhouse. Axe kick. Elbow strike. Spear-hand. Lotus kick."
Violet and Hiro held on tight as they both smiled confidently at each other while they continued to battle the Omnibots in the air.
Meanwhile
Bob and Helen were both fighting off dozens of Omnibots that were closing in on their location and were swarming all over them. Helen took out two before flattened and stretched her body out wrapped herself around three more Omnibots. Once she had them trapped she stretched her limbs out and wrapped them around posts and signs, and she slammed the Omnibots down on the ground. Another came flying in the air in front of her, so she took the wing from one she'd destroyed and prepared to launch it. She stretched her left arm around a street light and pulled her hand back toward her while holding the wing, then she released it and launched the wing at the Omnibot, destroying it (like she did with the manhole cover in the first movie). However, four more Omnibots landed around her and tried to punch her as she fought back against them.
Nearby Bob held one Omnibot over his head before he smashed down into the ground, then another came behind him but he punched straight through its torso. He ripped out its power core and threw it at another Omnibot, destroying it in a large explosion. He saw five Omnibots flying in his direction and looked around for something he could use to destroy them. Suddenly he spotted an empty streetcar, so he lifted it up and threw it at the Omnibots, successfully destroying them all. Bob smiled victoriously until another Omnibot flew behind him and punched him before flying off. Bob fell to the ground, but when he got back up two more Omnibots flew past him and hit him before swiftly turning around and doing the same all over again. Bob got angry and as one came flying straight toward him, but Bob stood his ground and planted his feet.
The Omnibot came at him with both fists out but Bob put his arms out and grabbed its fists and held on tightly. Bob's feet tore rows in the pavement as the Omnibot forced him ten feet backwards before Bob finally stopped it. He grunted in fury as he whirled the Omnibot around and threw it and one of the others flying, causing both to explode. Bob turned and saw the third Omnibot flying at him and he pulled his fist back and waited for it to come close. Just when Bob was about to punch it, Wasabi suddenly jumped in and swung his right plasma blade to cut off the Omnibot's left wing. The Omnibot then spiraled out of control before it crashed into the side of a building and exploded. Bob was surprised as he turned to Wasabi, who had a proud smile on his face.
Bob smiled as he pointed his finger at Wasabi and complimented, "Wasabi, you're a lot like Frozone."
Wasabi showed a flattered smile, but before he could reply more Omnibots landed around them. Bob charged at some while Helen joined him and Wasabi activated both his plasma blades and prepared to fight. Six Omnibots formed a circle around him, but Wasabi spun around while swinging his plasma blades, slicing all of them in half. When they fell down he smiled until he saw another Omnibot flying straight toward him. He screamed as he ducked his head and closed his eyes while he held up his left plasma blade. The Omnibot flew over Wasabi and his plasma blade sliced it in half right down the middle. Wasabi was shocked as he turned around and saw the two halves fly in different directions before crashing and exploding. Wasabi felt confident as he laughed and ran toward some more Omnibots.
He swung his plasma blades every which way as he cut the Omnibots into two or three pieces while running down the street. When he stopped he looked back at what he had done and felt very confident, just then another Omnibot landed behind him. It attempted a roundhouse kick but Wasabi saw it and cut its leg off, sending it tumbling across the street. The Omnibot awkwardly hopped on one leg for a moment before chopped off its head and right arm. Two more Omnibots came at Wasabi from both sides, but he immediately stabbed them with his plasma blades. They fell down and he laughed excitedly until he saw over a dozen more Omnibots flying toward him. Wasabi turned and ran toward Bob and Helen, and together the three of them took out every Omnibot that came their way. Bob threw a large pieces of rubble and destroyed a few Omnibots, but one fired its laser cannon at Wasabi. Fortunately it missed but hit the ground near him and the blast caused an explosion that knocked Wasabi to the ground.
Bob and Helen immediately helped him as Bob cried, "Marcus!"
They helped him up as he shouted, "There's too many of them!"
Meanwhile Baymax just took out one Omnibot with his rocket fist, and immediately after it returned he dodged a shot from another.
Hiro, having heard Wasabi over the communicator, urgently said, "Wasabi's right! We need to regroup! Everyone meet at-"
He was cut off when an Omnibot suddenly flew over Baymax and snatched Hiro off his back and flew away with him.
Violet quickly became worried as she shouted, "Hiro!"
She held on tight to Baymax as he turned around and pursued the Omnibot; Violet showed a serious expression as she stared at Hiro and the Omnibot. Hiro looked down as he cried in fear as he clung to the Omnibot for dear life. The Omnibot tried to drop him but Hiro used the magnets in his gloves and shoes to stick to it. The Omnibot tried to shake Hiro off but he stayed on it, then it tried to grab him but Hiro moved his body to stay out of its reach. He moved sideways along the Omnibot's body and slowly began to climb onto its back as it kept flying.
Violet and Baymax flew close behind them as Violet shouted, "Baymax, knock him out!"
Baymax did not attack as he continued flying and said, "I cannot attack without risking hurting Hiro."
Violet grunted in fury when suddenly two Omnibots flew at their sides and were about to slam Baymax. Fortunately Violet saw this, and just before they could hit him she put her hands out to her sides and created a force-field around herself and Baymax. The two Omnibots crashed into her force-field and exploded, then she dropped it and turned her attention back to Hiro. Hiro successfully managed to get onto the Omnibot's back as it kept trying to shake him off or grab him. Hiro stayed out of its reach as he grabbed its head and grunted in exertion before he final managed to rip it off. The Omnibot's body began to go down, prompting Hiro to immediately drop the head, get up, turn around and jump off it toward Baymax.
He had his hand out as Violet and Baymax flew toward him, ready to catch him, when suddenly another Omnibot flew at Baymax and knocked him and Violet away from Hiro. Hiro was plummeting toward the pavement as he screamed and waved his arms and legs frantically. Baymax immediately destroyed the Omnibot with a single punch before he flew straight down to rescue Hiro. Violet screamed in fear as she held on tightly while looking down at Hiro whose body was facing up toward them. Baymax was closing the distance but they were running out of time, fortunately at the last minute Helen came and saved Hiro. She stretched her body and flattened it, allowing her to safely catch Hiro like a life net. Baymax stopped and hovered while Helen let go of the poles she was holding and gently set Hiro down on the ground.
Baymax landed behind them as Hiro gratefully said, "(sigh) Thanks Mrs. Parr."
Helen smiled as she said, "Don't mention it Hiro."
Violet climbed off of Baymax and joined them and soon they were joined by Bob and Wasabi, for soon they were all surrounded by Omnibots. As the Omnibots came at them Bob, Helen, Wasabi, and Baymax fought them off while Hiro and Violet watched. One Omnibot landed behind Violet and tried to attack her when suddenly its head was knocked off by a magnetic disk. Hiro and Violet then saw Go Go and Dash zooming toward them; they stopped and joined the fight as Go Go threw her disks at more Omnibots. Suddenly they spotted something small zipping around at high speed, avoiding blasts from more Omnibots. It was coming closer to them before it finally stopped and they saw that it was Jack-Jack, who looked very scared.
He looked around in fear as he said, "Mama!"
Helen quickly stretched her arms out, grabbed him, and pulled him back as she said, "It's okay sweetie! Mommy's here!"
Almost immediately Honey Lemon and Fred came as Honey Lemon said, "Jack-Jack?"
She saw him with the others and both she and Fred hurried to join them and helped them fight off all the Omnibots. All together again, they used their powers and gear to destroy every Omnibot that came at them. Violet projected a large force-field barrier outward and smashed a few Omnibots. Another Omnibot knocked Hiro onto his back, but he kicked his feet out and used the magnets in his shoes to repel it backward. It stayed on its feet but Baymax destroyed it with his rocket fist, then he destroyed another with a double side kick. Another Omnibot flew toward Hiro but he quickly used the magnets in his gloves to repel it away, causing it to crash into another.
Hiro panted heavily as he looked around and said, "We need a new plan! We can't keep this up!"
Sickness flew by and watched them as he laughed maniacally then gloated, "It's no use. Even if you manage to take out a couple hundred of my bots you'll never stop them from eliminating the old veteran heroes!"
He flew away laughing and Hiro looked around and noticed some Omnibots were not attacking them, instead they were trying to leave the city. They successfully destroyed all the Omnibots in the area and had a short momentary cease fire.
As they caught their breath Hiro exclaimed, "He's right! We can't let any of them leave the city! If they get away then it's all for nothing! We have to stop them all before they leave!"
Honey Lemon glanced over her shoulder as she said, "But how?"
Dash suddenly threw out an idea as he said, "Maybe we could just turn them all off?"
Go Go glanced at him as she sarcastically said, "Not unless Sickness has a kill switch on him."
Violet got an idea as she moved her arm to refer to Jack-Jack as she said, "Wait, maybe we can turn them all off! Jack-Jack can create Electromagnetic Pulses that shut down technology. If we can somehow boost his power than we can use it to shut down all the Omnibots at once."
Hiro was impressed as he admitted, "That could work."
Fred happily said, "I like it! How can we do that?"
Hiro got an idea and then he grabbed Jack-Jack, took Violet's hand, and hurried to Baymax while saying, "I got it! I need Jack-Jack! Come on Violet let's go!"
They got on Baymax's back as he took off flying just as more Omnibots came arrived and attacked the others.
Three Omnibots were flying straight toward Baymax when Hiro held Jack-Jack and said, "Jack-Jack, laser eyes. Pew! Pew! Pew!"
Jack-Jack fire three blasts from his eyes and destroyed all three Omnibots and the four of them flew toward a large skyscraper that had screens on the side and a large antenna on the roof.
They landed on the roof and Hiro spoke into his communicator and said, "Alright guys, you keep the Omnibots busy while we get everything ready."
They all simultaneously said, "Got it!"
Hiro carried Jack-Jack and hurried over to the antenna while Violet followed and Baymax walked behind them.
As she followed him Violet said, "What's the plan Hiro?"
Hiro set Jack-Jack down by the antenna and started pulling out wires while he said, "I'm going to reverse the frequency of this transmitter, then we just have to hook Jack-Jack up to it and have him use his EMP. The transmitter will amplify his power and spread it out; it'll shut down all technology within a fifty mile radius!"
Violet got excited as she said, "That's really cool! I love it!"
Hiro smiled as he complimented her and said, "You should. It was your great idea."
She showed a flattered smile but then reluctantly said, "Wait, won't that also shut down Baymax? And all your gear too?"
Hiro kept working with a serious expression as he said, "I can reboot Baymax later, and I fix all our gear too! All that matters now is that we stop Sickness!"
The others heard everything, and inside his suit Fred was worried as he said, "I just hope my dad is okay!"
Meanwhile at Frederickson Manor
Stan was sitting on a lawn chair in his backyard sipping tea while Heathcliff served him some food.
Heathcliff suddenly noticed something and calmly said, "Sir, I believe we have a problem."
Three Omnibots suddenly landed in front of them and they all targeted Stan just as he was getting up from his seat.
Stan only smiled as he said, "Heathcliff, roll out the red carpet."
Heathcliff calmly replied, "Yes sir."
He threw the silver platter at one of the Omnibots' head and then grabbed an umbrella and prepared to fight. One of them fired its laser cannon at him but Heathcliff opened his umbrella and used it as a shield which surprisingly withstood the blast. Then he pulled back on the hook-shaped handle to reveal a long sword tucked away inside the umbrella. He ran at the Omnibots and swiftly dodged their attacks as he kicked one to the ground and swung his sword to chop the second one's head off. He threw a cummerbund at the third Omnibot, and it wrapped around the robot to restrain it, then he knocked it to the ground and used his sword to cut off its head.
He put the sword back in the umbrella and turned to Stan, who said, "You still got it Heathcliff."
The remaining Omnibot stood up behind Stan and was about to attack but Stan did not even flinch as he raised his fist and punched the Omnibot behind him. His fist broke its visor and knocked the Omnibot to the ground, but then Heathcliff noticed more Omnibots approaching.
He calmly said, "Sir I believe we have more incoming."
Stan smiled as he said, "Don't worry. This isn't my first rodeo."
Back in the city
Bob, Helen, and Dash were still fighting the Omnibots alongside Go Go, Honey Lemon, Fred, and Wasabi. Meanwhile Hiro, Violet, Baymax, and Jack-Jack were still on the roof of the tall building as Hiro was starting to finish his work on the transmitter.
Hiro plugged one last cable in and happily said, "That's it! I did it!"
Violet happily cheered as Hiro sat Jack-Jack down under the transmitter and attached four electrodes to his head.
Jack-Jack made happy little baby noises as Hiro anxiously said, "Alright get ready!"
They all froze in fear as they heard Sickness' voice say, "You don't know when to quit, do you?"
They turned around to see Sickness hovering above them with his arms folded and an annoyed expression on his face. He pointed his finger and fired a beam of his zero-point-energy at them but Violet immediately created a force-field around them. Not only did it protect them but the beam bounced off her force-field and shot into the air, much to Sickness' shock.
Violet dropped her force-field and angrily said, "Still think your force-fields are better than mine!"
Sickness glared at them and pointed his finger as he said, "Take them out."
Some Omnibots flew up and advanced toward them, Hiro turned to Baymax as he said, "Baymax, protect Jack-Jack!"
Hiro and Violet both ran toward them while Baymax stood by Jack-Jack and they all prepared to fight. Two Omnibots landed in front of Hiro, three Omnibots flew toward Violet, and four flew toward Baymax and Jack-Jack. Sickness smiled as he watched them while hovering far from the edge of the rooftop. Violet launched a large force-field barrier at the three Omnibots, two of them dodged it but the third was smashed before the barrier vanished. The second Omnibot hovered in the air and aimed its laser cannons at Violet, but before it could shoot she launched a horizontally flat force-field projectile at it. She cut off the Omnibot's legs and sent it plummeting down toward the city, then she turned to the remaining Omnibot. It landed in front of her and tried to punch her but she swerved to dodge it and made a force-field barrier that knocked it off the building.
Unfortunately the Omnibot flew back up and hovered in the air while it fired its laser cannons at Violet, but she successfully dodged the blasts. While she did this Hiro was fighting his two Omnibots by himself, one tried to punch him twice but Hiro ducked and swerved to dodge them. One of them tried to perform a roundhouse kick, but Hiro ducked and used the magnets in his gloves to repel its leg upward. This caused the Omnibot to flip over and fall on its head, which was smashed when it hit the concrete roof. He got up and turned his attention to the other Omnibot which approached him, it swung its fists at him but he held his hands up and used his magnets to repel its attacks. Each time he repelled it with his magnets the Omnibot stumbled backwards but remained on its feet as it persisted.
Baymax protected Jack-Jack as the four Omnibots piled up on top of him in an attempt to retrain and overpower him. Baymax soon forced all of them off of him and they all came back at him one by one. The first one tried to punch Baymax but he blocked it and grabbed the Omnibot and threw it at another one, destroying both at the same time. The third one punched Baymax and made him stumble backwards, but Baymax recovered and continued fighting. When it came at him again he did a drop spin kick, knocked it down, and then slammed his fist down on its torso, punching a hole in it. The fourth one tried to shoot at Baymax but he flew up and dodged it before launching his right rocket fist at it. He destroyed it while Hiro and Violet continued to fight their opponents by themselves.
Hiro continued to repel his Omnibot's attacks while Violet had a force-field over herself to deflect her Omnibot's laser blasts. The flying Omnibot stopped shooting and then flew straight at Violet and started pounding its fists against her force-field. Violet maintained her force-field as she looked over her shoulder to see Hiro parrying his Omnibot with his magnets. Hiro looked at her and smiled deviously as he got an idea; as if she could read his mind, Violet smiled and nodded her head. She turned back to her Omnibot as it flew back and prepared another attack, meanwhile the other one swung its left fist at Hiro. He dodged it as he slid to its left side and used his magnets to repel it and knock it down, it got up and turned to face him.
Meanwhile the other Omnibot flew straight toward Violet, but she dropped her force-field and rolled out of the way. It missed her and crashed into the other Omnibot from behind, then held his arms out as he used his magnets to repel them both back. Violet also held her arms out as she launched a large force-field barrier at them from the other side. The combined pressure from Hiro's magnets and Violet's force-field crushed both Omnibots , scattering pieces all over the rooftop. Violet and Hiro smiled at each other respectfully, pleased by their teamwork. Suddenly another Omnibot landed on the roof and was about to attack Jack-Jack who whimpered in fear.
Violet turned and ran toward him as she shouted, "Jack-Jack! NO!"
Baymax immediately flew down and landed behind the Omnibot; he grabbed it by its head and crushed it in his hand before pushing its body aside.
Baymax then patted Jack-Jack on the head and said, "There, there."
Jack-Jack happily giggled at Baymax as Violet joined them, sighed in relief, and said, "Thanks Baymax."
They both turned to look at Hiro as he urgently shouted, "Vi don't waste any more time! Do it now!"
Suddenly they heard Sickness say, "I don't think so!"
Sickness pointed his right finger and trapped Violet, Baymax, and Jack-Jack with his zero-point-energy.
Sickness chuckled maniacally as he landed on the edge of the roof and stared at them when Hiro ran at him and demanded, "Let them go!"
He tried to hit him but Sickness kicked him away then pointed his left finger at him and warned, "Uh-uh, I wouldn't do that."
Realizing he was helpless against his zero-point-energy, Hiro stopped and raised his hands, and Sickness said, "Smart move. It's over Hiro. You can't stop me. But it's not too late to back out. Their time has come but you don't have to go down with them. Join me."
Hiro spitefully protested and said, "No way! I stand with my friends! Now let them go!"
Sickness smiled maniacally as he said, "Why? So you can be all super and save the world with your girlfriend? She doesn't really care about you. To her you're not super you're just a normal guy! You want to be a hero and so do I. Think about it! Captain Hero and Sickness! Together there's nothing we can't do!"
Hiro remained defiant as he shook his head and said, "You're not a REAL hero! You just want everyone to think you are! I'm a guy who's just trying to do the right thing!"
Sickness began to lose patience as he said, "You think that matters? You have power Hiro! The power to be better than everyone else! Power that makes you a threat! People only respect you because you can do what they can't!"
Hiro then angrily inquired, "Is that why you removed Baymax's healthcare chip? To make him a threat?"
Sickness eyed him accusingly as he said, "Oh like I'm the first person to do that?"
Hiro glared at him before he was overcome with guilt and sadly hung his head, and Sickness smiled and said, "I thought so."
Meanwhile, down on the street Bob, Helen, Dash, Go Go, Honey Lemon, Fred, and Wasabi were fighting off the Omnibots, but they were beginning to overwhelm them as they swarmed over them.
Go Go grunted as she kept fighting and said, "Come on Hiro!"
Back at Frederickson Manor Stan and Heathcliff just took out two Omnibots but several more landed and were about to attack them. Violet, Baymax, and Jack-Jack were still trapped by Sickness' zero-point-energy; Violet and Jack-Jack had frozen terrified expression as they looked back and forth between Hiro and Sickness.
Hiro still felt guilty as Sickness smiled and proposed, "Come on Hiro. We have a lot in common. We both want to use our big brains to move up in the world. We've both lost the people we looked up to, and we both want to carry on our brother's legacies. We should be on the same side."
Hiro then opened his eyes and said, "You know what… you're right."
Violet, still frozen in the zero-point-energy, stared at Hiro and Sickness lowered his left hand and said, "I knew you'd come around. Now you just tell your friends to back down and we'll work on your cover story."
Hiro raised his finger as he calmly replied, "Sure, although I have to point out there is one difference between you and me."
Sickness put his wrist on his side as he curiously said, "Oh… what's that?"
Hiro narrowed his eyes as he coldly said, "You're brother got what he deserved!"
He immediately used his magnetic gloves to attract an Omnibot's head into his hands, then he reversed the polarity and launched it at Sickness. He let out a cry of pain as it hit him in the chest and made him fall backwards off the roof, which also freed Violet, Baymax, and Jack-Jack from his zero-point-energy.
Hiro immediately turned to them and shouted, "Violet now!"
She quickly looked down at her baby brother and said, "Jack-Jack sparkle!"
Jack-Jack smiled as his whole body started glowing orange and little sparks came from his body as he started bouncing up and down with the electrodes still attached to his head. After a few seconds a bright flash came from Jack-Jack's body and the electromagnetic pulse was sent. Baymax suddenly fell back as he shut down, and the Omnibots attacking the others suddenly stopped. Their red visors went dark and they all fell down; Wasabi's plasma blades also deactivated suddenly. All the Omnibots that were flying away from the city suddenly shut down and fell down toward the ground. At Frederickson Manor Stan and Heathcliff were prepared to fight when the Omnibots suddenly fell face down.
Stan smiled as he said, "Nice work kids."
Omnibots were falling from the sky like rain as Dash looked around and happily cheered, "Yeah!"
The others all smiled victoriously as they realized the plan worked and they had finally saved the city.
On the rooftop Hiro and Violet stood together as they saw all the Omnibots fall and Violet said, "It worked! We did it! We did it!"
Hiro smiled as he pointed at Violet and said, "Violet, you're a genius!"
Violet pointed back at him and complimented, "And YOU are Incredible!"
They both happily laughed together until they heard Sickness say, "And you're BOTH DEAD!"
They turned to see Sickness hovering in the air with a furious expression and his red plasma force-field around him.
Sickness shot them both death glares as he said, "I told you mine's better!"
He then flew straight down at them and rammed them with his force-field, knocking them both across the rooftop. They both groaned in pain as they started to get up, while Sickness deactivated his force and landed.
He stared at them as he furiously said, "We could've built the future TOGETHER Hiro! But no! You wanted to do the right thing! You picked the wrong side!"
Jack-Jack floated up to Sickness' head and started hitting him, but Sickness smacked him away and knocked him to the ground.
Jack-Jack was alright but it still hurt him and made him cry, prompting Violet to scream, "Jack-Jack!"
They both looked at Sickness, who was consumed by rage as he said, "You want to be just like Tadashi? Here! I'LL HELP YOU!"
Violet and Hiro both angrily ran at him but Sickness fired a beam of his zero-point-energy at them. They were both trapped in running positions with their mouths open and they had scared expressions on their faces as they moved their eyes around.
They looked at each other before looking at Sickness, who furiously said, "You take away my future, I take away YOURS!"
He moved his hand up as he lifted the two of them high in the air, then he walked closer to the edge. He was now holding Violet and Hiro high in the air over the edge of the building. He would use his zero-point-energy to throw them both down off the building and send them falling to their death. Jack-Jack stopped crying when he saw what Sickness was doing to Hiro and Violet and then he became angry as he walked toward them. Hiro and Violet turned their eyes down to see the drop before looking at Sickness.
Sickness held them in place as he furiously ranted, "This is what you get for trying to be the hero! All that matters is POWER! It commands RESPECT! THAT'S HOW THE WORLD WORKS!"
Suddenly Jack-Jack started making angry baby noises as he pulled on Sickness' cape, which distracted him.
Sickness tried to shake him off as he angrily said, "Hey let go! Get off my cape you little-"
Suddenly Jack-Jack lit his body on fire, which set Sickness' cape on fire, prompting Sickness to scream in fear. He unknowingly released Violet and Hiro from his zero-point-energy as he tried to put out the flames. Violet and Hiro began to fall as they looked down and screamed, but Violet quickly made a force-field around herself and Hiro. They stopped falling as the force-field floated in the air with them inside as Hiro held onto Violet, still very afraid. Violet stared forward as she made them move back toward the building, slowly rolling as they moved through the air. When they were safely back over the roof she dropped her force-field and they both fell down. Hiro groaned as Violet helped him back on his feet and they both watched Jack-Jack fight Sickness. His cape was no longer on fire but it was in tatters; Jack-Jack was in his monster form as he climbed all over Sickness while biting him.
Sickness kept trying to shake him off as he furiously yelled, "GET THIS THING OFF ME!"
Finally he grabbed Jack-Jack and threw him away, and Jack-Jack returned to his normal human form. Sickness turned back to Violet and Hiro and shouted in rage as he pointed his right finger and prepared to use his zero-point-energy on them again. But just seconds before he shot it Violet held her arms out with a look of fury as she created a force-field around Sickness. The beam bounced off the interior of her force-field and hit Sickness, trapping him in his own field of zero-point-energy. Sickness was trapped in his zero-point-energy with his right finger pointing out, his left arm behind him, and his right leg in front of the other. His tattered cape was frozen behind him in a "blowing" position. His face was frozen with an expression of blind rage with his mouth wide open and his eyes narrowed, despite his eyeballs glancing around.
Violet dropped her force-field, she and Hiro walked to the still frozen Sickness and she exclaimed, "Woman up!"
Hiro was utterly amazed as he looked at Violet and said, "Violet… that… was… sick!"
He then held his fist out and she smiled as she pounded her fist against his and then they both pulled their hands back and made "boom" sounds. Suddenly Jack-Jack teleported between them and they both chuckled as Violet held him in her arms while Hiro rubbed his head.
Author's note: Sorry if this chapter was too long. I wanted to keep the total number of chapters at twenty, but I didn't want to put too much in this chapter. That's why some of these fight scenes didn't have that much detail. Hope you don't mind. I don't know how accurate my idea of them using a transmitter to increase Jack-Jack's EMP is, but I had to do something. I based the last part with Sickness off the dumpster scene from "Toy Story 3". That's why I had him ranting that crazy speech, like when Lotso said "We're all just TRASH waiting to be THROWN AWAY! THAT'S ALL A TOY IS!" Anyway, the next chapter will DEFINITELY be the last one. I wanted to put more stuff in this chapter but since it turned out so long I thought it would be better to begin the last chapter where I originally planned for this one to end.
