Teela and Edward headed out of the Tavern towards the main square where the people were fleeing from. In the square were Beastman and Whiplash wreaking havoc on the people. Radioing in on her communicator Teela let security know that the city had been infiltrated and where they were. Teela did not hesitate to confront the two villains her staff at the ready, Edward standing slightly behind her. "Back off fuzzball you're not wanted here!" She yelled at Beastman catching both villains' attention.
Edward had his sword drawn, he had heard of the villains but have never fought them. Edwards' pulse was racing, his first battle with Skeletor's goons. He knew Teela has had battles with the foes before, so he would take his battle cues from her.
Instinct kicked in and Teela was mad. How dare these two invade the town and cause damage. She waited for the two to make a move, allowing the townspeople to clear the area. Beastman was the first to move, charging toward Teela. "I'm gonna eat you alive, girl." Running at full speed, arms spread open, Teela had only seconds make her move and made Beastman fall to the ground face first. Landing between Beastman and Whiplash waiting for their next move. It was at this time she saw Edward point his sword towards Whiplash. She wasn't alone in battle, she had a partner. Teela smiled at Edward and said "Watch out for his tail!" Edward acknowledged with a nod and began to advance on Whiplash.
The battle continued until Beastman got his arms around Teela squeezing with delight. Edward lost concentration and got hit with Whiplash's tail, barreling him into a vendors stall. Teela screamed "No!"
"What, does our mighty warrior have a boyfriend." Breathed Beastman in Teela's ear. "Whiplash go find our errant warrior and bring him here."
Teela was struggling to get free, all the while worrying about Edward.
Whiplash reached the debris covering Edward and immediately had a sword pointed at his throat. "I wouldn't move much more fiend or I'll cut your neck wide open." Edward flung the rest of the debris off of him, still holding Whiplash at bay.
At that moment a loud roar could be heard. He-man riding on Battlecat arrived. Teela used that to her advantage and head butted Beastman so he would release her. She moved over toward Edward to cover Whiplash. "Making a nuisance of yourself again Beastman? I know you can't play nice with others." He-man stated as he descended off of Battlecat.
Seeing as he was out numbered four to one, Beastman ran off leaving Whiplash still at the mercy of Edward and Teela.
Grabbing a port-a-prison from Battlecat's saddle He-man walked over to Whiplash and secured him in it. Edward got up from the ground and stared at He-man. He had heard many tales of He-man but had never seen him in the flesh before.
