CH 9. LOUD GIRLS STYLE SLUMBER PARTY .
Thursday morning had arrived so Lori asked Luna, Luan, and Lynn to head to the supermarket to pick up some soda, and candy. At first Lori was hesitant to let Luna drive her car, but Luna told her older sister that she would do nothing wrong to her car. While at the supermarket Luna, Luan, and Lynn split up to get items for the party. While getting surplaise for the party Sam, Margo, and Maggie called their friends and asked what time they should come over. The three sisters talk about it, granted it almost becomes an argument until Luan says that 7 30 or 8 would be a perfect time for them to arrive since it will give the louds girls time to get ready for the slumber party. Within two hours Luna, Luan, and Lynn got what they needed for the slumber party, so they heard home but on the way home Lynn decided to ask a question. "Hey, do you think Lincoln (Linka) wants to change back to normal?" This causes both Luna, and Luan to think what they have read in their brother's diary, even though there were more nice things that they did for their brother, the loud girls are worried that the white hair child will let the bad things clug his (her) mind about changing back to normal.
Meanwhile at the loud house Lori, Leni, and Linka were cleaning the house before anyone arrived at the party. As the tree girls cleaned the house Lily was thinking about her brother Lincoln. The preschooler remembers all of the good times that she had with her brother. She understands that Lori, Luna, Lynn, Leni, and Luan made a promise to help their little brother back but the three years old child knows that sometimes her brother wants to have peace in the family. Luna, Lynn, and Luan arrive home with the pop and food for the party. When it was getting close to six in the evening the louds girls got into their pjs. Lori was getting ready for the slumber party until Lori heard the door being knocked though it was Ronnie Ann being dropped off by Bobby, or Luna, Lynn, Luan's guest so she went downstairs to let them in but at the door was Clyde. As soon Lori opens the door to see that it was Clyde instead of Ronnie Ann, the oldest sibling of the louds family notice that Clyde started to have a bloody nose due the young boy seeing Lori in a nightgown. "Hey Lori is Lincoln's home right now. Our favorite show is on right now and I notice that you and the other girls are going to have a party, though it would be best if he comes to my house and watches ARGGH and plays some video games so nothing bad happens." ask Clyde. Now Lori has two choices: the first one is to tell Clyde the truth about Lincoln and what happened to him or she could lie to her brother's best friend.
"Well you see Clyde Lincoln join our parents in England since he was kinda interested in the family name's roots." Lori said nervously hopping that Clyde bought into the little lie. Clyde did not believe Lori at first but he asks why didn't Lincoln let him know, so Lori explains that they left at three in the morning and England has a different time zone than Michigan. "True that is very true Lori, hey just remind Lincoln to tell me about his trip." Clyde said as he went off to his house . Deep inside Lori felt bad for lying to Clyde but would he believe what happened the only reason Ronnie Ann fingers it out was due to the white hair, since a kid having that white hair is really rare or it only happens in anime. She knows it was wrong to lie in front of Clyde but what does she say to her brother's best friend "Hey Clyde after we drop you off at your house, Lincoln started to feel funny and the next night he changed into a girl anyway what's new with you." Lori said to herself until both Leni, and Luan came downstairs to see who was at the door but Lori said it was no one. At the sametime Linka, Luna and Lynn, came up from the basements to bring up some root beer, and other kinds of pop. "Alright let's get this party rockin!" yelled Luna followed by Luan blowing an air horn.
Ronnie Ann eventually did arrive with her stuffed toy and started to play some video games with Linka, Lynn, and Luna. "So Bobby, how did you get your family back at Great Lake to agree to this party." ask Lori after she kisses Bobby's check. "Well babe it was not easy but I managed to tell my grandparents that Ronnie Ann wanted to see some friends back in Royal Woods. Oh one more thing Lori I am afraid that I can't take you out to a fancy restaurant next time when your in the neighborhood since I gave CJ, Carl, Carlota and Sergio money to keep what happened to little bro a secret." said Bobby as he started to leave the loud house, then Lori ask how much money did he gave to his cousin to bride them to not talk, so Bobby said each of them got $30 dollars. Shortly after Bobby left, Sam. Margo, and Maggie arrive at the loud house. Luna greeted Sam with a hug, Luan greeted Maggie, and Lynn gave Margo a high five.
"Hey Lynn, who is the white hair girl, and where is your brother?" ask Margo. Leni grabbed Ronnie Ann into the kitchen to talk to her and ask that she believed the lie that Lori gave her, and Bobby. "Yea I never seen her before, Luns I know your family have a big family, but how many kids did your parents have, cause I know Lori, Leni, Luan, Lincoln, Lucy, the twins, Lisa, and the cute little Lily." Sam stated until Luan said that the white hair girl Linka is a cousin from England since Lincoln is with Lisa, their parents, and the twins for the week, and just like them Linka also has a large family. "Must be a family thing to have a lot of kids Luan." stated Maggie. Margo then grab a baseball and started to play catch with Lynn until she saw Linka, and Ronnie Ann playing Super Smash Bros. "Cool hey Lynn I think I can beat you in this game." stated Margo but Lynn just rolled her eyes and said that she would rather play mortal kombat, but she answered her best friend with your on- face.
"Hey lameo ready to losee to me again in this game." Ronnie Ann said. "Just cause I am a girl now doesn't mean I forgot how to play video games Ronnie Ann." said Linka. "Hey you two save that rivalry for the game because I'm going to beat both of you in Super Smash." Lynn said. "Hey dues, let's just have some fun and we do not want everything to be a composition Lynn." Luna said as she jumped on the couch. Margo said "Yea Lynn save that for the baseball game." So the louds girls that include Linka, Luna, Luan, Lori, Leni, Lily and Lynn are having Super Smash tournaments with Ronnie Ann, Margo, Sam, and Maggie. So the first round was Linka, Luna, Maggie, and Luna. Second round Ronnie Ann, Sam, Lynn, and Lilly. Third round was Lori, Leni, Margo, Luan . Soon it was the final round against Ronnie Ann, Linka, Lynn, and somehow Lily. In the end of the tournament the winner was Lily which surprised everyone that a preschooler beat everyone in Smash Bros. Shortly after the Super Smash Bros the group of girls were eating some candies, and popcorn while watching a movie that was Godzilla King of the Monsters.
After the movie Luna suggest they should have a talent show in the basement so Lynn was kicking a soccer ball, Margo did some stunts with a basketball while dancing, Luna plays her guitar with Sam, Luan did her comedy with Mr Coconuts, Maggie did some miming ,Leni and Lori did a song, Lily did a rap song (child friendly rap song), and Ronnie Ann with Linka did some skate tricks as well some magic tricks. The girls decide to take a ten minute break since they were having fun and it is eleven at night. Lori got a call from Lynn Sr, and Ritta asking how things are back at the house. "It sounds like you girls are having a slumber party. So I taken that Lincoln went to spend the night at Cylde's house then." ask Ritta. Lori said with no accuracy Lincoln is having a fun time spending time with his sisters without any problems.
"That's good to hear Lori, that you kids are not fighting with each other." said Ritta before she gave the cell phone to the twins so they could talk to their older sisters for a few minutes. "Hey sis we have to go right now cause dad found out a concert that he wants to go." Lana said, while Lola and Lisa rolled their eyes with their great uncle since Chris hated the type of concert they were going to. "We'll talk to you later dear the concert is starting soon." Lynn Sr said as he gave the cell phone to his wife so Ritta explained that the concert is the song London Bridge is Falling down but is played by cow bells. "Why does he like to listen to cow bells, they are not even a proper instrument but then again my nephew and one of his kids have bad taste in music." Chris said to himself as he gave a big sigh, but he was thinking of getting ear plugs for Lola, and Lisa to join him in not listening to the music.
Meanwhile in the joker and rocker of the louds children room both Luan and Luna are talking about what Linka/Lincoln said to them earlier this evening. "So sis do you think that Linka/Lincoln was being serious about what she/he." Luna asked Luan as the comedian she was getting her retainer in her mouth for the night. "Yea I've been thinking about that too, so Leni, Lynn and Lori wander what our brother will choose. To turn back to a boy and be Lincoln Loud again or stay as Linka Loud." said Luan. "Do you think that Linka wants to remain as a girl instead of being back to normal.I mean I think I had an idea why Linka wanted to stay as a girl." the rockstar said before she noticed Lori, Leni, and Lynn enter the bedroom. Leni asks if Luna, and Luan are talking about what their brother/sister told them. Both Luna, and Luan nodded their heads.
"So it's not just us three then." Lynn said. "But why would Linka/Lincoln not want to change back to normal. All of us miss him." said Leni as she was trying not to cry. "Girls I think I know why Linka/Lincoln want to stay as a girl, it's because he felt like we are now equal." Lori said. Luna, Lynn, Luan, and Leni are confused about what Lori is talking about until they remember all of the fights, disagreement, and differences that the girls and Lincoln had in the past. From the whole sister fight protocol, picking on their brother for his hobbies, or any other forms of difference between us and our brother." Lori said.
"Do you think that Lincy wants to stay as a girl? I mean know that we all have our different hobbies, talents, skills, and views on life but still if he/she decides to stay as a girl, we all well miss little bro." Luna said. Luan then mentions that it has to be Linka/Lincoln's own personal choice not theirs according to what Lucy was told by the ghost. The older sisters took a pick downstairs and saw that all of the younger siblings, Linka, and Ronnie Ann were reading their favorite magazine, but in Linka's case she was reading a comic book, Sam, Margo, and Maggie was on their cell phone listening to some music. "Maybe Linka will be like Lana and I ,tomboys." stated Lynn "Well come guys let's get back to the slumber party and enjoy the rest of the night shall we girls." Leni said as she wiped a tear away from her eyes followed by Lori, Lynn, Luan, and Luna doing the same thing to.
Once the older sisters had their little chate they went to the living room and saw Linka, Ronnie Ann, Lily, Sam, Margo, Lucy, and Maggie started to play truth or dare and ask Luna, Lori, Lynn, Luan, and Leni want to join them in a couple of games. Leni spun the bottle and it was Luna's turn so the rocker picked dare, so Leni dared Luna to call Sam and sing I Got You Babe. Next it was Luan turns so she picked dare and it was to prank called Mr. Grouse. Then it was Lynn's turn so Lori dared her to go out with Clyde and see a movie. Then it was Lori's turn but she picked the truth, so Luna asked Bobby and she did it yet. However the girls got bored playing truth or dare, so they decided to ask Luan to get her her cards against humanity, but they did not let Lily play since it was late in the night so Lily was put into bed. During the game it was a little hard for the girls to try to keep quiet and not to laugh. As for Lucy she was in the attic talking to great grandmother for any advice on what to do about Linka/Lincoln.
"After hearing what my older sisters have read in my brother's diary it kinda makes me wonder if Lincoln would stay as a girl. I mean we do have little fights but doesn't most siblings do. Even through the agreement, or disagreements that we have with each other we still care for each other. In our own way. Dear grandma give me any sign that might help us , and my brother's fate." Lucy said but nothing happened. "Sigh I think I am heading to bed." Lucy said to herself. It was now two in the morning and the louds sisters, Linka, Margo, Maggie, Sam and Ronnie Ann started to get tired but before they all went to sleep Leni wanted to take a group selfie since none of the loud sisters knew what Linka/Lincoln would do. However everyone was so tired that they all spelt in the living room,
Meanwhile Linka and Ronnie Ann were talking about their friendship, and the future since Linka is not Lincoln. "Hey Linka, are you serious about remaining as a girl are you?" ask Ronnie Ann "Yes I am really thinking about just staying this way, I mean think about it Ronnie Ann my sisters and I are on the same level no differences, probably going to be less fights between us, and more try to prove myself to them." Linka said. "What about your friends Clyde, Zach, Stella, Rusty, and Liman? What are you going to tell them, or even your parents, how would they feel about it ?" ask Ronnie Ann. However Linka just shrugged what Ronnie Ann said, and was thinking about the benefits of staying as a girl granted it would be different when she hung out with Clyde, Zach, Stella, Rusty, and Liman, but she is still Lincoln Loud but just the opposite gender, a person who loves reading comic books, playing video games, and into ghost, and spy shows.
"What about us lameo what if one of us wants to take our friendship to the next level like Lori, and Bobby, or Luan with Benny, or Sam with Luna. I know that Luna has a girlfriend but that's not me, I like having Linka as a friend but I miss Lincoln." Ronnie Ann said but noticed that the white hair girl was already sleeping dreaming that life would be better as a girl. While dreaming, the real Linka talks to the reflection version of Linka. "I made my choice, I am staying as a girl. From now on Lincoln Loud is dead and I am now Linka loud, and nothing will make me change my mind. Sorry girls, mom, dad, pop pop, Clyde, Zach, Stella, Rusty, Liman, and Ronnie Ann. I know that you will miss the old me, but this is for a better choice." Linka said to herself while dreaming away into slumberland.
