"Will you relax.? You aren't doing anything wrong."

"Brooke broke up with you. She's out of town. Won't be returning. Most importantly she told you not wait for her."

"And said all those terrible hurtful things. You deserve better. Someone who appreciates you." Rachel said. Kissing him hard. Pulling him down towards her. The two falling down onto the matress in her bedroom.

Rachel looked out at the water.

"I need to get these questions out of my head. So i'm just going to ask you. And hope for honesty on you're part." Brooke stated.

"You can expect honesty from me. Maybe if we were both more honest with ourselves and Lucas things would be alot different." Rachel replied.

"You're son Theo. Is how old exactly.?" Brooke asked.

A warm smile went across Rachel's face.

"He's almost 11. In a matter of weeks." Rachel confirmed.

Theo Scott. The sunshine in both their lives. The deepest connection they shared. He loved reading and was an old soul. Protective, insightful. Like his father. From me he got his personality. He thrived off attention but didn't crave it.

He knew love and stability. He reflected everything she never had and always wanted. Theo was her second chance the air she breathed. Her heart. The reason she was still alive.

"He's the son you and Lucas share there is no question of paternity.?" Brooke questioned.

Rachel narrowed her gaze at Brooke.

"We didn't get pregnant on purpose. It was unplanned. But became the biggest blessing of our llife." Rachel replied.

Brooke's eyes went wide as she put the pieces of history together.

"We were pregnant at the same time." Brooke exclaimed.

"We were our kids would of been siblings. He didn't cheat on you. You dumped him. He was hurting and when was i not hurting back then.?"

"Lucas and I got sober together. My rock bottom almost dying. His rock bottom almost losing Lilly to child services. We were both falling apart and found some sense of relief in each other." Rachel explained.

Multiple notifaction alerts went off from Brooke's cellphone. She gazed down at her ID and sighed deeply.

"I have to go. My husband's here." Brooke revealed.

"I'll see you in a few weeks from now. Theo's party will be at Lucas's house or the cafe. Everyone we know will be there. No reason for you to be left out. Drop by. Bring a gift if you want." Rachel suggested.

"I appreciate you wanting me to be apart of such a special day. I'll think it over. I just don't want me and Lucas's personal issues to ruin his birthday." Brooke replied.

"Don't worry about that." Rachel confirmed.

Weeks Later

Karen's Cafe

"You did what!" Lucas exclaimed. Feeling his head begin to throb and his body tense up.

"I invited Brooke to the party. I figured we aren't friends. But she's going to be around for awhile so why make things more uncomfortable." Rachel stated.

Happy Birthday Theo

Was spelled out in big multi colored letters.

Guests were beginning to enter the restaurant.

"We've come to a decision on god parents." Haley announced walking over with Nathan to where Lucas and Rachel stood.

When Brooke walked through the entrance door. Lucas felt his mouth go dry.
