Day 26 of the Blue Sea Moon

Bambietta goes off on her mission along with her Golden Deer.

"The Rite of Rebirth is finally underway. Time to see if our hunch was right." Claude declared.

"Ugh, I hope it's not. Then we wouldn't have to fight anyone." Hilda grunted.

"Sorry, Hilda. Our hunch is right." Bambietta apologized.

"We've all come to this conclusion together. I'm sure we've got it right." Ignatz said.

"Right or wrong, the clock is ticking. All we can do for now is stick to the plan." Claude replied.

"You seem a mite too relaxed for my liking." Seteth scolded as he and Flayn appeared. "The Goddess's Rite of Rebirth is about to begin. While we are in the Goddess Tower, we are relying on you to secure the locations that are lacking in defense."

"May I let you in on something, Professor?" Flayn asked Bambietta.

"Sure." Bambietta nodded.

"My brother can be a bit... callous. He told me that he was concerned about you, and hinted that perhaps you would be better off patrolling a coffin!" Flayn giggled.

Bambietta laughed. "Wow, Seteth~ I didn't know you were worried about me~!" She laughed more.

"That was said in jest, you two. And in confidence. Flayn. Please just remain by my side and do not cause any more trouble." Seteth asked of. "As for you, as a professor, you would do well to remember that it is your duty to guide your students down the path of righteousness."

"Please excuse us, everyone. We shall see you again after the ceremony has concluded!" Flayn exclaimed as she and Seteth leave.

"Seteth is way too overprotective. He reminds me of my brother." Hilda pointed out.

"Come on, Teach. I know a hidden spot where we can monitor the stairs that lead to the Holy Mausoleum." Claude ordered. "If there's anyone down there, they'll be trapped like the rats they are. We'll just have to take them down without getting bitten."

Holy Mausoleum

Bambietta brings, alongside herself and Claude, Marianne, Hilda, Ingrid, Caspar, Lysithea, Sylvain, Leonie, and Ferdinand. She reclasses herself as a Thief as there are some chests in the place even though she'd rather practice some more magic.

After that, the Golden Deer was prepared to fight.

"Our guess was spot on. Looks like we have company." Claude declared.

"Those Central Church dastards have spotted us... Buy me some time while I open the seal on the casket!" A mysterious mage ordered.

"I'm on it." A western church soldier acknowledged.

"Looks like the enemy is going after the casket in the back. Maybe they're going after the saint's bones? Weird." Claude pointed out. "I'd like to defeat them before they can finish the job."

"Got it. Let's beat them." Bambietta said.

"But did you notice? Look closely at the ground. There's some kind of contraption on certain parts on the floor." Claude notified. "The smart move is to advance while finding the best fighting positions we can based on the enemy's weaponry."

"Right. Okay. Let's go!" Bambietta exclaimed.

Leonie attacks and hits a Dark Mage with Curved Shot. Ingrid finishes the Mage off. She grows in strength, speed, luck, and resistance.

Hilda attacks and archer four times, the fourth hit defeating him. She grows in strength, dexterity, and speed.

The rest of the Golden Deer advance.

"Death Knight! Prove your strength and scatter these fools!" The mysterious mage ordered a man with black armor, red eyes, and a scythe on horseback.

"I don't take commands. Or waste my time on weaklings." The Death Knight growled.

"I'm getting a really disturbing vibe from that guy... No one go near the evil-looking knight, OK?" Claude warned as the enemies stay where they are.

Bambietta defeats a Monk. She grows in strength, magic, dexterity, and speed.

Her students advance.

An archer shoots and hits Ingrid.

A fighter attacks and misses Caspar who counters.

A soldier attacks and hits Ingrid who counters twice.

Sylvain shoots and hits a fighter twice.

Hilda defeats the fighter that attacked Caspar.

Ingrid defeats the soldier that attacked her with her lance. She grows in strength, dexterity, and speed.

Caspar hits a Myrmidon with a Hand Axe.

Bambietta shoots and hits another Dark Mage after getting hit by one his attacks. She obtains a Chest Key, but puts it in her convoy.

Lysithea defeats the Myrmidon Caspar attacked.

Ferdinand defeats the archer that attacked Ingrid and receives a Chest Key. He puts his Vulnerary into the convoy.

Leonie defeats the injured fighter with Curved Shot.

The rest of Bambietta's students advance.

A Dark Mage attacks and hits Caspar who counters.

Another Dark Mage attacks and hits Sylvain who counters twice and defeats the Dark Mage. He grows in strength, magic, dexterity, and speed.

Hilda finishes off the Dark Mage Caspar hit. She grows in speed and charm.

Bambietta advances and unlocks a chest, receiving Spirit Dust. She sends it to the convoy.

Marianne heals Sylvain.

The rest of Bambietta's students advance.

"The reinforcements haven't arrived!? If they approach from behind, we can attack them from both sides..." The mysterious mage declared. A monk attacks Leonie who dodges and counters. Leonie grows in dexterity, speed, and charm.

A mage attacks Claude with Group Lightning, but the Gambit was a bust.

Caspar attacks and hits a Monk with his Hand Axe.

Sylvain attacks the mage that attacked Claude. After taking a hit, he defeats the mage.

Marianne heals Sylvain with Physic.

Ingrid finishes off the monk with her training bow.

Bambietta finishes of the Monk with a critical hit.

A soldier attacks Caspar who counters.

Caspar finishes off the soldier. He grows in maximum life energy and speed.

Leonie attacks a Monk with Curved Shot.

Sylvain shoots at a Myrmidon twice. Claude finishes that Myrmidon off.

Marianne heals Ingrid with Physic. She learns the ability Authority Lv 1.

Enemy reinforcements enter the fray.

Ferdinand uses the chest key he received and receives an Intermediate Seal from it.

Ingrid shoots at the monk again. Leonie finishes that monk off.

Bambietta, with her Steal ability, steals the Dark Seal the Death Knight has and trades him for her Vulnerary.

The rest of her students advance.

"Like moths to a flame..." The Death Knight growled as he attacked Bambietta. He scores a critical hit on Bambietta, making her retreat. "I told you that if you fled, I would not chase you. But it seems you wish to die..."

A soldier attacks Ingrid and hits her.

Leonie hits the soldier that attacked Ingrid and dodges an attack. Ingrid finishes that soldier off. She grows in maximum life energy, speed, defense, and charm.

Claude hits the Death Knight with Fusillade.

Marianne heals Caspar with Physic.

Hilda uses Stride on Caspar.

Caspar hits the Death Knight with Onslaught.

Lysithea hits the Death Knight with Group Lightning.

The rest of Bambietta's students advance, but Sylvain waits.

The Death Knight attacks and defeats Lysithea.

The students move away from the Death Knight.

The Death Knight and the enemy reinforcements advance.

Hilda uses Stride on Ingrid and Ferdinand.

Ingrid hits the Death Knight with Disturbance.

Caspar runs away from the Death Knight.

The rest advance.

The Death Knight inflicts massive damage to Ingrid while the Dark Mage makes her retreat.

Ferdinand attacks the mysterious mage.

"You're too late! The seal will be broken any minute now..." The mage declared.

Ferdinand, after getting hit by the mage, defeats him. He grows in dexterity and charm.

"It's no use! The seal is broken. You can't- Huh? A sword?" The mage hummed in confusion as Bambietta reappears as she roars and struck at the mage who blocked, but had a sword that he pulled from the coffin knocked into the air. Bambietta catches the sword which held a very familiar shape to her. The mage attacks Bambietta with a fireball who deflects it with her new sword which was now glowing red. "Huh... What!?" The mage gasped.

"Whoa... This sword..." Bambietta beheld. She drops her regular sword and deflects another fireball, shocking the mage who tries to back up, but could not. He then produced a magical shield. "You won't hide behind that thing for long." Bambietta boasted as she uses her new sword to cut through the shield and cut down the mage. She then looks at her new sword, specifically, its hole.

"That sword is... I see. What a pleasant surprise." The Death Knight mused before he warps away.

"The jerk got away. Was that magic? We can't even chase after him." Claude complained.

"Hey, Professor. The way that sword is shining... Do you think it could be..."

Claude's question was not finished before more footsteps were heard. The Golden Deer stood ready, but they soon see that it was Catherine along with her troops that entered. "Is the intruder here!? Oh... Looks like you have this under control. You! Round up any stragglers." Catherine ordered one of her subordinates.

"Will do!" the subordinate acknowledged.

Bambietta declared that the MVP was Hilda, maxing out her motivation.

Bambietta also received the Sword of the Creator which she sent to the convoy.
