CHAPTER – 11 – A truly Epic Battle!
Hi Guys! I'm once again back with another chapter of Defeated Strikes Back, as well as I've taken an important decision regarding the fanfics future… I don't know how many words or chapters will this go but, I think there are 75% chances that I divide it in two parts; but that's not the topic now so without wasting much time let's get on the chapter.

With Ash –
Ash was walking to his Pokémon, Pikachu, Lucario, and Mewtwo (Invisible) after the dance, and the kiss, with May, which he hoped no one saw, he continued to walk to the corner where his Pokémon were leaning, as they saw him, he was greeted by several naught smirks.
"So Master, Now you agree with what I said earlier, right?" asked Lucario teasingly through an Aura link, Mewtwo and Pikachu smirked, Ash did not liked where this was going.
"W…W...What a…a...are you t...talking about Lucario? And I told you not to call me master, right?" Said a blushing Ash.
"Don't play dumb Master, we three were watching you and Mistress May all time, and yes you told me to not call you master 2498 times." Said Lucario with a grin.
"WHAT! How many people saw that?" Asked a horrified Ash.
"Fortunately for you, only me, Lucario, and Pikachu saw you both kissing, your mom, some frontier brains, Jason and that white haired Pig saw you both dancing, and some other people who we don't know also saw that." Answered Mewtwo.
"Sigh" "So you three don't tell to anyone" said Ash with a sigh, Mewtwo and Lucario nodded with a grins, however Pikachu had other plans.
"Dude, now in the name of Pika bros see, if you give me five bottles of more ketchup then I'll consider….." said Pikachu with a smirk, of course our terrible rapper didn't knew that his plan was going to backfire on him!
"I've a better deal… You'll not tell anyone and you'll continue to get you daily quota of ketchup otherwise….." Said Ash a naughty smirk, Lucario and Mewtwo literally laughed, Pikachu gulped.
"N…N…No I d…d…don't think that will be necessary…." Said a sweating Pikachu.
"Now let's go find Gary and Paul." Said Ash as, Pikachu hopped on his shoulder and Lucario and Mewtwo stood on his both sides, then they began searching for a certain Professor and frontier brain.
With May – Sometime back –
'He's mine now…. And I'll do everything I can to gain his trust so we can be official…" thought May who was approaching a blushing Dawn who was talking with Delia and Misty, soon they turned towards her, Misty and Dawn smiled Delia grinned.
"So what else happened other then I saw?" asked Delia teasingly, Misty, Dawn, and approaching Serena, Bonnie and Iris raised their eyebrows.
"W…w…what d…d…do you mean ….oh I mean Delia." Said a blushing May, she didn't know Ash was also in the same situation.
"Oh, now no dumb play May, I saw you and Ash dancing, anything else happened after that or not?" asked Delia with a grin, Misty, Bonnie, Dawn, Iris and Serena gasped.
"N..no, nothing more than that, it was only for that he doesn't insult me in front of so many people…. But hopefully soon..." said May, acting perfectly, everyone except Serena buyed her lies.
'I don't know what to do, Ash didn't respond to my flirting, will she…. Ooh Arceus! Serena! Don't be greedy, you're spoiling our friendship….. I also felt great in Jason's company….. Ah... Ash is not for me….' Thought Serena with a sigh.
"Everything alright Serena?" asked Iris.
"Yeah…." Replied Serena.
"And yes, Dawn has to tell us something!" said Misty excitedly, Delia smiled, Dawn blushed.
"What?" asked May.
"Ah… you see…um Me and Paul…a.. are kinda… together….." said Dawn while Blushing.
"WOW!" said May, Serena, Bonnie, Misty, and Iris in unison.
"Nobody saw that coming…." Said Iris.
"Come on Girls, we can talk other things in our meeting at night, for now let's find the Guys and get back." Said Delia, others nodded.
With Paul, Jason, Ritchie, Cilian, Celemont, and Max – Current time –
"So what did you saw Jason?" asked Ritchie, he Jason, Paul, Cilian, Celemont, Gary, and Max were standing together, Barry had gone back to his hotel to pick up his father as he was also an frontier brain, arriving late because of personal reasons, but no one saw Ash approaching, with Pikachu, Lucario, and Mewtwo, and nobody also noticed that Jason's eyes and Mewtwo's eyes glowed purple for a moment, Mewtwo has erased Jason's memory when he saw Ash and May dancing, he had also erased several more people's memory, including Brendan, but unfortunately he was not able to erase Delia's memory on time.
"I saw A…what,…um what was that thing…., um I guess I forgot…" replied Jason, everyone, excluding Ash, felled anime style and got up.
"Oh, Ash, Paul and Jason wanted to tell us something but Jason forgot so let's hear from Paul." Said Ritchie noticing Ash, Gary and Ash were having an Idea what 'The news' will be.
"So I was telling that I and Dawn are together." Said Paul while looking aside to hide his blush, everyone's jaws were touching the ground, Ash and Gary were smirking at him, after some time and explanations, the girls were approaching them.
"Mewtwo, if Mom has told anybody, erase their memories, except, well you know who." Said Ash through Aura link to Mewtwo, Pikachu and Lucario grinned at the last part, Mewtwo nodded and in a flash did his work, when they approached each other Dawn and Paul blushed, everyone grinned; As and May also blushed but no one saw as they were busy teasing Paul and Dawn.
"So guys lets go back." Said Iris as they went back to the Pokémon center, after that the Girls were in a single room talking and the Boys were at the club.
With the Girls – After all the talk (A.N – Remember Mewtwo erased memories of Delia seeing Ash and May and telling the others about it) –
"So now we know that noting major happened in the Dance with the Dancers, except Paul and Dawn, but Serena, Why were you flirting with Ash today?" asked Misty, May slightly frowned, others nodded, till now they talked about what else happened at the dance.
Serena sighed and told everything that how she thought about May and her crush returned, but understood that Ash is not her's and now she is trying to get over things, she also said sorry to May who forgave her; everyone nodded and then went to their respective rooms.
With the Boys After the whole talk –
"So nothing, major happened except Paul and Dawn….." said Gary somewhat disappointed, they were talking about how the dance went, no one was knowing about Ash and May, Cilian and Jason admitted their crushes on Iris and Serena respectively in the club, but they did not had the chance to confess, Gary was unsure about his feelings for Misty so he kept quiet, no one had drinked much as they were knowing that tomorrow they have to train.
"So dudes, let's go back, Max and the girls must be asleep now." Said Brock, others nodded, they had left Max alone at the Pokémon center because he was 17, although no one had drinked much but, still. They all then left for the Pokémon center.
Next Day at the morning –
Ash came out of the Bathroom after doing his morning rituals, Lucario and Mewtwo were all ready for the day, today they were going to train at New Island, however Pikachu who was also fully awake, but he was busy finishing his bottle of Ketchup.
"Now that's enough Pikachu, Get ready we've to go to the cafeteria, the others must be waiting." Said Ash.
"Uh…Oh yeah *Slurps one more sip of the Ketchup and closes the bottle*, Now I'm ready, Can't wait to meet Pika Bros!" Said Pikachu in his usual Swaggy style.
"We're not going to meet the gang you dumbass, currently we're going to the cafeteria, after that we'll go to train with the gang." Said Lucario with a sigh.
"OH… Actually I was so busy in the Ketchup that I didn't listen, Anyways lets go *Hops on Ash's shoulder, which was usually covered with the cloak*" said Pikachu, others sighed, they got out of their room to find Paul and Ritchie talking in the lobby.
"Oh, Hey…. Good morning Ash!" Greeted Ritchie.
"Morning dude." said Paul.
"Morning Ritchie and Paul, What are you doing?" asked Ash, meanwhile Pokémon also greeted each other.
"Nothing, just talking about tomorrow's battles, let's go to the cafeteria." Answered Ritchie, Paul nodded, as they began walking downstairs and went to the cafeteria, all of the group were sitting on a table and talking.
"Morning Ash, Ritchie, Paul." Greeted Brock, others smiled.
"Morning guys." Replied Ash, Paul and Dawn both blushed but smile and sat next to each other. Everyone smiled, then Ash and Ritchie also took their places, Ash and May only looked one time in each other's eyes and blushed, but no one noticed except Ash's Pokémon who grinned and Paul, who raised an eyebrow. Everyone chatted a little, ordered their breakfast and began eating after it came.
"Hey Gary? Did you give that chip to Prof. Oak?" asked Brock.
"Yeah, I sent that with one of my Pokémons, he's also confused but he and Tracey will try their best to take out some info." Said Gary, others nodded.
"What are the plans for today?" asked Dawn after all finished their respective meals.
"I don't know about you all but I've to go back to the Island and train." Said Ash, Lucario and Mewtwo who were only visible the Group, thanks to Mewtwo's power nodded, Pikachu gave a 'Pika'(Yeah).
"Cool! We can also see what's it like and train our Pokémon as well!" said Max.
"Who said that you all are coming?" frowned Ash.
"Come on dude, we all want to see where you lived, and we also want to see the rest of your Pokémon." Pleaded the Pokémon Professor, but Ash once again shook his head.
"Ash, you can do this much." Said Delia, still Ash's answer was NO.
"Well Ash, the thing is that I also want to see that place and see your Over Powered Pokémon and you've already told us all the things already so it does not make sense that you do not take us; and I'm sure that everyone wants to see that place and your Pokémon." Said Jason, everyone nodded. Ash was about to say no once again but when he saw May's pleading face, well you can say that it was 'ITS SUPER EFFECTIVE' on Ash, Pikachu, An invisible Mewtwo and Lucario, thanks to Mewtwo's power, grinned and then Ash threw his hands in defeat, No one noticed that brief interaction except Gary who raised an eyebrow, but no one saw.
"Ok" he said and everyone cheered, Delia smiled, Paul and Gary smirked.
At the same time at New Island –
"Hey you lazy Slakoths! Get up and train, being Legendaries doesn't mean you'll not train every day! Look at Lugia, Ho-oh, Victini, and Latias, they train every day." Shouted Noctowl on top of his voice.
"Relax Noctowl…, Today we can get some rest and tomorrow we will train…." Said Reshiram, Others, which consisted of Zekoram, Kyurem (Normal form), Zydrade (50% form), and Rayquaza nodded.
"You'll not be able to cope up with us if you don't train." Said Noctowl.
"NOW TELL ME! Is there anyone here who can DEFETE me when I'm in my Mega form while staying at their normal form, no one can, not even the other legendaries, Mewtwo will be able to put a fight but will lose, No one can defeat me except Mother Arceus and while I'm at my Mega form not even the Dragon trio at their normal forms, so let us rest otherwise fight me!" shouted Rayquaza all Pokémon gathered to see what was going on.
"I admit I cannot defeat you, but I know many who can, so I'm calling Ash as they are with him at the time." Said Noctowl calmly, he knew that he should not piss the ruler of skies. Rayquaza laughed and nodded.
"Hey Ash, can you come early for the training, it seems Rayquaza wants to test one of your elites, come here as soon as possible." Said Noctowl and also told what happened to Ash via Aura link.
With Ash –
The Group was walking towards the clearing so that Mewtwo can teleport them without being seen.
"Ash…. Can Mewtwo seriously teleport all of us at the same time?" asked Max.
You doubt my power? Said Mewtwo through telepathy in everyone's head in a cold voice, Ash, Lucario, and Pikachu grinned.
"N…N…No, M…M…Mewtwo after all you're t..t…the m...most p…p…powerful Psychic." Said Max while sweating, Mewtwo smirked, then Ash, Mewtwo, Pikachu, and Lucario received Noctowl's message, as now no one was seeing them Mewtwo teleported them, once the group opened their eyes they saw a paradise of Pokémon, a big grassy field, Big freshwater lake, trees, an mass of rock, an extient volcano, some hills, in simple words this place was perfect for all types of Pokémon.
"Wow" said Misty as she released her Pokémon in the lake.
"This area is fantastic!" said Max as he also released all his Pokémon, soon all others also did the same.
"We need to go to the other side of the hills; there is the battle fields and all Pokémon, let me call some flying types so we can go there." Said Ash, everyone were eyeing the area around them, on the hills was a wooden cabin, where Ash spent the night; they also saw the coast and a pink barrier just ten meters below it.
"Flying types who can carry people come to the grasslands, except the legendaries." Ash sent the Aura link message to the Pokémon of the islands, soon the group could see many flying and Dragon types approaching them, they were Pidgoet, Swellow, Staraptor, Unfezent, Talonflame, The Shiny Dragonite which Ash used against Lorelei, Salamence, Garchomp, and Charizard.
"Sit on them, number according to the size." Said Ash, others nodded, then he began racing with Pikachu, Lucario, and Float running Mewtwo, they all disappeared in blurs.
"Wow" said Max as he sat on Swellow, Gary and Ritchie sat on Pidgoet, Dawn and May sat on Staraptor, Iris and Misty sat on Unfezent, Delia and May on Talonflame, Brock and Jason sat on Dragonite, Paul sat on Garchomp, Cilian and Celemont sat on Charizard, Bonnie and Serena sat on Salamance as they took off on an unimaginable speed, they reached where Ash, Pikachu, Lucario, and Mewtwo were standing at the Largest battle field of the five in 20 seconds, in which they were semi – airsick.
"That was….." tried to say Gary, others sighed of the unforgettable moments, but they didn't know that the biggest shock had yet to come….
"Oh, I forgot tell them to be slow…." Said Ash, all others shook their heads in despair.
Once they all came to their senses after getting down from the Pokémon every single of them were gasping, who would not do that in that situation, in front of them was an over powered army of Pokémon; which consisted of – Butterfree, Venusaur, Blastoise, Primeape, Tarous, Muk, Kingler, Snorlax, Lapras, Typlosien, Meganium, Feraligatr, Noctowl, Donphan ,Heracross, Crawdaunt, Torkcoal, Galie, Torterra, Gliscor, Floatzel, Krookodile, Samourrot, Serpireor, Embor, Sesmitoed, Goodra, Hawlucha, Norvien, Tyrainatar, Gengar, Gardevoir, And then the biggest gasps came as they saw – Lugia and her child Silver, Ho-oh, Latias, Victini, Reshiram, Kyurem, Zekoram, Zydrade, and Rayquaza.
"Hearing….. is different, seeing is different.." said Gary, soon the others also woke out of their trances, All Pokémon were okay to May as Mewtwo had told 'things' to everyone sometime back.
"Squishy!" called out bonnie as she approached Zydrade.
"You've sooo many powerful Pokémon Ash…" said May, and before I forget the tone was very seductive, or I should say EXTREAMLY! Ash couldn't help but blush at it, which was noticed by his Pokémon, his Mom who grinned, Gary who smirked this time, and Serena, who sighed….. She had partially gotten over things after she realized them last night.
"You've very healthy and extremely powerful Pokémon Ash, I'm very impressed." Said Brock as he and Cilian exclaimed his Pokemon to which they didn't mind.
Ash then also released Infernape, Greninja as they joined their team along with Lucario and Pikachu, the flying and Dragon types also took their positions, they were – Pidgoet, Swellow, Staraptor, Unfezent, Talonflame, Charizard, Dragonite, Salamence, and Garchomp.
"So Ash, What are we going to do?" asked Celemont, clearly not wanting to battle Ash's Pokémon.
"Rayquaza wants a battle with one other Pokémon of my team so first you can see that." Replied Ash, others nodded and went to a safe distance from the big field.
"So Rayquaza, Are you ready?" asked Ash, His Rayquaza, The shiny one Mega Evolved and nodded; Now he was the Shiny Mega Rayquaza.
"Oh My Arceus! What a Dragon!" shouted Iris, everyone forgot to swetdrop because they were too mesmerized by the lord of Skies.
"Sceptile Lend me your power!" Said Ash as he called out his Hoeen ace.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAA,aaaaaaaarrrrrrrr,rrrrrrraaaaaaaaa, raaq arrrraaa!"(Hahahahahahahahahahahaha, You're using that Lizard against me, is this a joke!) laughed Rayquaza, Sceptile frowned his rage boiled up, he felt insulted. The group was also wishpering about why e choose Sceptile, however his other Pokémon had faith in him.
"Sceptile! Let's Prove them wrong! And Rayquaza you said that we can't use Mega evolutions, but you didn't mentioned this." Said Ash as he placed his hand over his heart, with Sceptile copying his actions, soon a tornado of Leaves surrounded Sceptile and when it died down, Sceptile was is his Synchro form.
"Raaaa arrrr Raaa" (You don't stand a chance with that also) shouted Rayquaza as he prepared a Dragon Pulse and fired at Sceptile.
"Dodge and use OUTRAGE! Convert the anger inside you in POWER!" shouted Ash.
"Sssccceeeppptttiiillleee!"(I'll WIN THIS!) roared Sceptile as he Dodged the Dragon Pulse and used the dragon type move on Rayquaza, who lost Balance but once again gained and flew upwards. (Rayquaza HP 95%)
Rayquaza used Dragon tail on Sceptile, Ash told him to dodge it but due to its size the attack hitted Sceptile and he was thrown away 10 meters back and was now struggling to stand up. (Sceptile HP 70%)
"Urgh! Use ExtreemRush on his neck followed by Multi Leaf Slashes in his face." Grunted Ash, Sceptile quickly stood up and disappeared in a Purple blur, Rayquaza wasn't able to spot him and Sceptile managed Hit Rayquaza's neck, The Legendary was unbalanced for a second, Sceptile took advantage of this and attacked Rayquaza's face with Multiple Night Slashes and Leaf Blades.
Due to Sceptile's incredible speed Rayquaza was not prepared from where the attack will come after being hitted by these attackes, Rayquaza lost his balance and was crashing to the ground however Rayquaza tried to maintain his balance; Sceptile was in midair when Ash called.
"Take advantage of the sunlight, use solar beam on him to make him fall the continue the same beam on ground for air boost, then use Giga Impact followed by Frenzy storm." Commanded Ash, Sceptile quickly unleashed a greenish – white beam on Rayquaza, which did not much but made him lost his balance completely, Sceptile surrounded himself in a purple energy and quickly hitted the crashing Dragon, which boosted his crash, when Rayquaza made contact with the ground dust and sand covered the whole field. (Sceptile HP – 68%; he also took some damage from the Giga Impact) (Rayquaza HP – 75%; Mostly the damage came due to crashing from above)
Seconds later all the sand was included in tornadoes of leaves which were bursting from the ground, soon all the Leaf and sand tornadoes along with the roots came in contact with the struggling Legendary after which another explosion covered the field with dust. (Rayquaza HP – 73%)
"Incredible, Sceptile did this much damage to a Shiny Mega Rayquaza!" shouted Max.
"His each Pokémon are very powerful." Said Gary, Paul nodded.
"Prepare a Hyler beam (A.N – Mix of Solar and Hyper) and fire when the dust clears." Commanded Ash but before anyone knew Rayquaza quickly got above the dust and unleashed its signature move Dragon Accent on Sceptile, who was caught off guard, for the first time worry was on Ash's face, he was completely helpless here, The deadly move came in contact with the field and Sceptile….. (Sceptile HP – 17%)
Almost everyone in the field, except Ash and some of his Pokémon thought this was the end, Ash felt Sceptile's pain because of Battle and was on his knees, Sceptile was trying his best to stand up and Ash was also doing the same.
"Oh No! The trainer also feels the Pain when Pokémon gets hurt in Synchro evolution!" Shouted Bonnie.
"This means…." Said May as she closed her eyes and held her heart with one hand, her abdomen suddenly flashed blue and so did Ash's, Ash didn't know how but his pain lessened but he didn't care and he stood up, on the other hand May was in pain but after seeing Ash get up, she understood that somehow she had divided Ash's pain, this thing only Ash's Pokémon noticed, in which they smiled.
"You can do it Sceptile, Use Solar beam on the ground and use your most powerful Draco Strom!" said Ash, surprisingly Sceptile was launched in the air with the help of Solar beam and used his max power Draco Meteor with Leaf storm, due to Rayquaza's Size it was impossible to avoid the attack so he quickly tried to fly upwards.
"Use Dragon Rush on its head and use Dual chop on top of it, and then use Draconic rampage combat 2ve.o" said Ash on top of his voice, in no time Sceptile crashed into Rayquaza as several Meteors and leaf storms hitted him, Rayquaza roared of pain and the roar and the pain increased when Sceptile Dual chopped his head, and after that what Sceptile did was nearly unimaginable… He consistently kept using Dragon Rush, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Rage, Dragon tail on Rayquaza's body occasionally using Night slash and leaf blade too. (Sceptile HP – 10%, as he also took some damage while colliding.) (Rayquaza HP – 25%, Remember, Dragon moves are super effective against Dragon types,)
"OH MYARCEUS! That Sceptile knows every Dragon type moves!" shouted Iris, the others were gasping what Ash's Hoeen Ace was doing to the Ruler of skies.
"Now it's time Sceptile! Gather all your energy and hit him with an Dragon Tail on his Head!" called out Ash; nearly all people were holding their breaths from the thrilling battle; Sceptile finished his rampage with a Dragon tail on Rayquaza's Head. (Rayquaza HP – 20%)
Now Sceptile was on his knee, breathing heavily, and Rayquaza was struggling to get in the air, but with all his energy left, Rayquaza rose up in the air and prepared a Dragon Pulse,
"Now use all your energy into an ExtreemRush!" called Ash, Sceptile slow compared to first time but enough for Rayquaza to miss, this time when The Extreme Speed and Dragon Rush, Made contact with Rayquaza they both lost balance and began crashing on the ground, but Sceptile was directly above Rayquaza's head, after a very long time both Ash and Sceptile smirked.
"Now finish with our trump card! End it with an Ice Punch on his head." Commanded Ash, everyone gasped; Sceptile silver glowing fist came in contact with the crashing Rayquaza's head, which froze at the spot, now his frozen head being heavier changed direction and crashed on the ground, soon Sceptile also crashed, and at the same time dust covered the field, the dust cleared first at Sceptile's side, who was on his knee, barely conscious, but when the dust cleared on Rayquaza's side, everyone was speechless, the ruler of skies was lying unconscious…. Back to his original form (Sceptile HP – 0.01 %) (Rayquaza HP – 0.00%)
"Oh my Arceus! His Sceptile is a beast!" shouted Misty.
"My Sceptile can learn many things from his! So many versatile moves! This is just amazing!" said Max, others were also astonished on Sceptile's power, May feared foe Ash, cause Sceptile wasn't in very good condition, neither was Ash.
Reshiram, Zekoram, and Kyurem gulped at seeing Sceptile defeat Rayquaza.
"R…R…Rayquaza I…I…is u…u…unable t…t…to b…b…battle S…S..Sceptile is t…t…the w…w…winner…" stated a clearly dumbfound Mewtwo, Sceptile looked back at an unconscious Rayquaza, then he smirked and fainted, seconds later Ash also fainted from tiredness of Synchro Evolution.
"Ash…. be ok" said May softly so that no one can hear.
Everyone rushed towards Ash, lucario channeled some Aura and used heal pulse, Mewtwo also used heal pulse on Sceptile and Rayquaza.
"Uh…um…ah…Oh Sceptile won…. Yeah..." said Ash while looking at his surroundings. "Don't worry about me…. Just exhausted, you all can train, I want some rest….." said Ash as he stood up and walked to a big tree some 10 meters away and laid down on its shade, he made a brief eye contact to May and reassured her that he's fine, She also nodded back, this time Gary and Paul caught a glimpse of this and knew that something is going on; after this Rayquaza and Sceptile also came back to senses thanks to Mewtwo, Rayquaza looked down at ground at shame, his ego was shattered.
"Don't be down Rayquaza, just never be overconfident, train hard, and I hope you learned your lesson." Said Ash through Aura link.
"Yeah dude, everyone wins and losses don't be down, train more and so will I." said Sceptile with a grin.
"Yeah, thank you all for opening my eyes, sorry Noctowl for talking like that…., and next time Sceptile, results won't be the same" said Rayquaza after some good words from Ash's team, Sceptile smirked, Ash grinned. The Group was not able to hear these things as the communication happened with the Aura link, then Ash rested for a while as everyone trained.
So another chapter down, now I think no one must had expected Rayquaza VS Sceptile, Right? But I wanted to do it so this was included, did you liked the chapter and who could forget Was the battle truly epic? I tried my best to make it good.
