Rose didn't feel well right now for for last few days. And that is an understatement. Rose knew full well that war is not a game as she remembered how brutal was the gem war for her and the gems. But she couldn't handle the events that occured around her all at once.

First a bonty hunter had kidnapped and nearly doomed innocent children had they not stopped him.

They then discovered a new life form zillo beast which was the last of it's kind who unfortunately died after it's rampage on coruscant which could've been avoidable if the chancellor just listened to her and Master Windu.

And here comes the battle of Ryloth where countless twileks were held as slaves against their will. As if that wasn't enough the Twileks nearly gang up on her and the gems because of their distain for the previous gem colonizations against their ancestors and their home planet long ago. She remembered how the twileks called them either destroyers or conquerers.

Rose was frustraed to how things went this way. Their involvement should've helped find a better solution to the seperatist conflict but they didn't achieve anything thus far.

Rose was tired even though she wasn't organic to feel so.

She needed to talk to someone about this. Pearl was on a mission with Master Kenobi however

Rose thought 'Who else is nearby'

She then remembers the compassionate human she met on her frist day here 'Master Skywalker! He should be somewhere nearby'

Rose searched the temple until she found Master Skywalker sitting and talking with his 'padawan' Ahsoka.

Ahsoka: Ouh hello General

Anakin: hye Ms Quartz.

Rose: Hello little one. May I talk with Master Skywalker please

Ahsoka couldn't help but grin at hearing this as she knew how her master gets fascinated at Quartz General. "Wow master did you find yourself a company?"

Anakin: Ahsoka watch yuor words and go to Rex. He may need company as well.

Ahsoka: Yeah yeah have fun.

Ahsoka went her way leaving Rose and Anakin alone to their little chat.

Anakin: Ms Quartz what is-

Rose: Please no need for formalities Master can simply call me Rose.

Anakin: Ouh f-fine. Then you also call me Anakin.

Rose: Anakin? How cute

Anakin: *blushes* Uuh okay. So is everything alright?

Rose then took a sad expression "No not really"

Rose and Anakin made their way to the window. Rose looked at the stars high above.

Rose: Anakin, do you ever feel like an outcast? That you shouldn't be where you are? That you are not solving problems but creating them?

Anakin was taken a back by this sudden question.

Anakin: Wow that's unexpected but...yeah.

Rose: You do?

Anakin: Many times I thought of leaving the Order because I never made a good jedi and was never accepted fully as such. I once thought that being a jedi will give me freedom to help others which wasn't really wrong but I've only got cosntantly berrated, scolded, sometimes not taken seriously.

Rose listened very carefully to everything the young jedi said. She found she had very much in common with him, she failed as a leader in the eyes of her fellow diamonds who belittled her. She also once thought that being a diamond leader frees her from sch an existence but she was wrong.

Anakin: I mean what is the point of being someone great when no one is there for you.

Rose: I-I understand you. More than you realise.

Anakin: Really? But don't you have your comrades? Surely they can understand.

Rose : Maybe they will but sometimes they don't really understand what I feel. I want them to understand but I'm afraid that if I tell them, they will hate me. They don't even know some things about me.

Anakin: Secrets huh? I guess we have more similarities than we know. I too have some things that don't wish anyone to know. Even Ahsoka or Obi-wan.

Anakin put his hand on Rose's shoulder "Rose I know that sometimes life may be hard and harsh, but for all of that it's also filled with happiness and joy. In life, we are all a state of mind and with our loved ones, we see the very best being human."

Roses' eyes began to tear up again as she then hugged Anakin. "Thank you Anakin for telling me all of this"

Anakin: *hugs back* You are welcome my lady~.

Anakin and Rose then took a walk arond the temple as Anakin then thought of something "Rose if you aren't against this, when there will be time I want to invite you to a place where you can enjoy yourself".

Rose : Well I would like that very much Anakin
