When the battle was over with, Everyone, including Cell himself, was a little concerned when it came to that last part. Nobody is really sure if it was a one-time thing or down, which makes it even more worrisome. But, Cell tells them to not focus on that. Unless that fake Goku wasn't as tough as he appeared to be, he's likely still alive, and a lot stronger.

But, Whis and Beerus wanted to go check something first. And of course, Goku came along with them. After this certain thing, the gang heads to the Future. This gang being Cell, Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks.

The Present Goten and Trunks ask to go, since they've been getting a lot stronger. Cell showing off his incredible potential, and helping them improve, has really motivated the two, so they're trying and mastering all kinds of training now. But, both their dads say no. In perfect sync, they look at Cell.He simply sighs, and says-

"If he's not too strong, I'll bring him back here and you two can have a go at him, but you have to stay here."

The children reluctantly accept this deal. They really wanted to see the future, but if even Cool Uncle Cell thinks it's too dangerous, they might as well listen. The two go back to intense sparring.

As they exit the Time Machine, they all make comments on the appearance of this crazy future.

Trunks explains-

"So.. This is it. My future."

Vegeta replies with-

"Alright then.. But where would Black be now?"

Goku hops out, saying-

"I don't know, but anyone who would do this to innocent lives must be pretty evil.."

Finally, Cell makes his comment, bringing up what he said earlier.

"I still could've done better."

Suddenly, a flash of purple and black ki appears in front of them, with the sound of teleportation behind it. This is it, the second showdown..

Goku Black immediately begins monologuing.

"Ah, so you have arrived! Wonderful.. I'll have fun putting you mortals in your place.. And, you, Cell.. I'd like to thank you for unlocking a massive portion of this body's hidden strength.. By using that strength to massacre you and your friends!"

And, he starts to power up, a Divine, Pink aura slowly replacing the dark purple one. Cell just stands there with a blank expression, before saying, in a tired, slow, and almost disappointed tone-

"Holy shit, you have no idea how much I don't care.."

Suddenly, Black enters Rosé, shooting at Cell and throwing a really quick punch his way.

But not quick enough. Vegeta enters his Blue form, hopping in front of Cell and throwing a punch back. The two fists collide, creating a massive shockwave.

"You had your fun last time, Cell! Let me have this one!"

Vegeta hadn't had a good fight against pure evil in a while, so it's about time he did, before he got rusty.

But, like in canon, the prince gets trashed. Next up is Goku, along with Trunks as support. Together, they put up a decent fight. Both Gokus are stronger than their canon counterpart due to Cell making himself and other Saiyan Fighters stronger, and just giving Black a brutal beating. So, it's even for a bit. But then Zamasu comes in and it all falls apart. The two so-called Gods immediately take Trunks out of the fight, and then Goku is slowly overwhelmed. But, Cell decides it's his turn again, and goes for this Zamasu guy. Just like Black, he tries to monologue.

"Go ahead. You can try to harm me all you like. But as you saw earlier, I'm immor-"

Cell interrupts the jolly green joke with a heavy right hook, a knee to the stomach, and elbow right between the eyes. He's sent into the bottom of a nearby broken up building, Zamasu getting sent into it as hard as he did was enough to make it collapse.

"Sorry, my hands slip sometimes. What were you saying?"

Cell asks, looking down at the rubble. Zamasu slowly pushes and climbs his way out of it, He was not happy.. But then, he felt something he never thought he'd feel again. Pain. He feels some kind of liquid dripping from his nose, and doesn't need to see it to know what it is. Cell says something once again.

"Last time I checked, Immortals don't bleed.."

Perhaps eating Z Sword candy could come in handy after all.
