Hey Folks! Sliding into Darvey Day 2020 and fitting into my Lazy Sunday Mornings collection, here is the latest addition. I hope you enjoy this and let me know your thoughts. It feels a bit rushed, but I hope I captured their special anniversary. Thank you Love - Carebearmaxi. Can be considered M in a couple of spots.
The Anniversary Tub
It was a week until Harvey and Donna celebrated their first year of wedded bliss. To celebrate their first wedding anniversary, Harvey had made plans for he and Donna at a new favorite restaurant in their new Seattle home. Plus he had given carte blanche to Donna to decorate their new very large suburban Seattle house. The house had 6 bedrooms 3 1/2 baths and loads of other rooms not yet even imagined a purpose. However, the master bedroom had a very large master bath adjacent to the bedroom on one side. The other side of the very large bedroom had two very organized walk-in closets which looked more like boutiques with the amount of storage.
They had moved in over a week ago. All four of them he, Donna and their baby twin girls. The twins' birth coming so closely after their marriage put a kind of funny wrinkle to the whole one year celebration, but it would be worth it. Reflecting back on his reasons for tromping the streets and roaming home improvement stores, there was still one piece of furniture missing from the grand scheme of Donna's furnishings plan; and he really wanted to give it to Donna knowing it would make her happy and their house complete for now.
Donna had given Harvey an overview of the furnishings she wanted, in all the rooms, however, he had really wanted to give her one item which seemed to be outdated, unwanted, and hard to find. As Donna had told him the bathroom's motif would not be complete without it. Harvey looked at the picture again and thought: It figures my wife would really want something almost impossible for me to provide. I really want to surprise her. As he stomped through the last resort of a custom bath fixtures shop, he looked down at the picture that Donna had printed for him.
The object in the picture was about eight feet long and had rounded corners all around. It was approximately two and half feet deep but the bottom narrowly rounded down as the depth progressed. One could sit comfortably in it as the bottom of the item measured about forty inches. The outside was all white over cast iron ( Donna marked specifically, no acrylics) and it was propped on four clawed feet. As Harvey looked at it and examined it twice his eyebrows went up as he knew what Donna probably had planned for the Victorian Claw Foot Bathtub.
Harvey found that Donna just like him needed a couple of moments here and there to herself. Many times she spent these times in the bathtub with scented candles all around and her head propped upon the side of the tub with a rolled towel or a special pillow. His heart skipped a beat when he sneaked in after a few minutes to find her lying in the prone position with bubbles above her breasts her one wet bent knee just peaking out of the tub. Her red hair curly partially upswept in a loose bun with a few wet red strands curled from the steam hanging around her beautiful face in peaceful bliss. He wanted to join her in that wet paradise but respected her wishes that she just wanted a few moments away from the chaos of their new life.
Harvey spotted a big burly man from behind the counter as he walked into the shop and walked over to him.
"Can I help you?"
"I hope so. My wife is remodeling and furnishing our home and she would like this specific type bathtub for our master bath. Do you do this kind of work or can obtain this type of tub?"
The large man who was about half a foot taller than Harvey and bald looked at the picture and smiled widely.
"Yes, sir. I don't have to have this made. I have one of these I removed from a house not too long ago. It's in great condition. I can clean it up and re polish it."
At the words "removed from a house" visions in Harvey's head began to think this man was trying to offload an inferior piece of furniture.
The large man whose name was Larry and owner of the shop saw Harvey's hesitation and reassured him.
"I can see you really would like a new one. However, that could take some time."
"How long? I am trying to surprise my wife with this for a first wedding anniversary in a few days," Harvey said. I know nothing about this. If I get the wrong thing, which I know Donna is expecting, she will just be happy I tried. To me that is unacceptable. Donna is my wife and I always want her to have whatever it is I can provide.
"Tell you what," Larry responded. "I have the one I was telling you about in my warehouse. Let's take a look at it and you tell me what you think."
"Ok. If I don't like it, though, you can reference me somewhere else?"
"Surely. Right this way," Larry stated.
It was now only two days away from their anniversary. It was Wednesday and Harvey had told Mike and Rachel that he was taking the day off in preparation for he and Donna's wedding anniversary on Friday. He explained, though, that he had to leave early today because Donna's present was being delivered and installed today.
"Donna's at her office and she said she was taking the girls with her, so this is the perfect time for them to do it. I have to get home to meet them there," Harvey said seeing the bemused expressions on his colleagues' faces.
"I always knew you were a romantic in a lawyer disguise," Rachel teased.
Harvey looked away and made a face. Before Mike could add his teasing two cents, Harvey raised a palm in front of his face stopping him. Mike smiled and let out a laugh.
"You are so different than the guy that hired me ten years ago," Mike stated.
"Yeah, well...what can I say?" Harvey smiled and said his goodbye.
He pulled into the driveway of their home and was relieved that Donna's car was not in the driveway. She had told him she would probably be at her own office with her clothing design company she founded a year ago. The twins were probably with her or with her sister, Charlotte, who had rekindled her relationship with her younger sister and now lived in Seattle with her fifth husband, 12-year-old son from a former marriage, and her own new baby daughter.
The truck pulled up in front of the house only minutes after Harvey arrived. Luckily, Donna had had the plumbers in and install the proper British fixtures to accommodate the new tub. Larry alighted from his truck and met Harvey at the beginning of the winding stone sidewalk leading up to the house. They exchanged greetings and Harvey was assured that all would be completed long before his wife came home.
When completed, Larry said, "That tub is in great shape. However, don't use the tub for the next day or so because the sealants around the fixtures have to set."
"Will it be available by Friday night?" Harvey inquired.
"Absolutely," Larry said ripping the receipt from his pad and handing it to Harvey. "If you have any problems with it or you notice damage to the tub, call me. Otherwise you have a good day and a great wedding anniversary."
"Hey, Larry, are you married?" Harvey asked before Larry walked out the door.
"Yes, thirty years next month. You're probably wondering why I'm not wearing a wedding ring," Larry said.
"Not really, but why not?"
"In my line of work, I am liable to lose it. So I wear it when I'm not working. My wife has learned to accept it rather than keep replacing it," Larry laughed.
Harvey smiled and looked down at the wedding band on his own hand which after a few months of fiddling with its newness knew he would be devastated if he ever had caused to remove it or if he ever lost it. Harvey was always more sentimental than he allowed people to see except for Donna. She had always known the man he was or could become. She never had lost faith in him.
Smiling, he closed the door and continued his day.
Friday night was spectacular. The weather for September carried just a little chill and the sky above was filled with stars. Something that they both noticed as Donna and Harvey left the house for their new favorite restaurant for some dinner and dancing. Donna loved dancing but more she loved dancing with her husband and since their wedding a year ago she was not letting Harvey off the hook.
They were shown to their private table which was set right before the outside terrace where the music was playing and couples paraded on the dance floor. Donna held up her glass of champagne and smiled at her husband. She had taken extra care to make herself extra beautiful for him. She was wearing her hair down as Harvey loved her hair down draped over one shoulder. She had curled it a bit giving it a little more lift. It had taken her an hour to get it just right. She also tried to cover some of the more tired spots on her face with makeup as all her duties including being a working mother to two active year old toddlers could cause.
The dress she wore was new for the occasion. It was low cut and showed just the right amount of cleavage that always caught her husband's attention. It was plain silk, dark blue with a wide neckline and held up by wide dark blue straps. She wore no stockings but her feet were encased in a new pair of dark blue stiletto heeled slingbacks from her favorite shoe designer. Before walking out of the bedroom, she watched as Harvey's eyes trailed her up and down smiling his approval. He kissed her on the cheek softly whispering to her, "You are so beautiful. You think we could miss dinner?" She smiled at the memory.
Coming back to the moment she saw Harvey hold up his champagne glass to hers.
"Happy Anniversary, Harvey," Donna said.
"Happy Anniversary, Donna," Harvey said with a smile he was barely able to contain.
They toasted and drank.
As the first notes of their song was being played, Harvey stood and asked, "What do you say?"
"I wouldn't mind if I do," Donna replied smiling. She took his hand as he led her to the dance floor.
They danced much like their first dance a year ago at their wedding except that Harvey held her much tighter Donna thought. She pulled back to see that soft face he wore when he was happy. She leaned a bit forward and he kissed her. The previous year he had still been a bit too reserved to kiss his wife on the dance floor in front of everyone.
Donna said softly in his ear so he could hear her, "I am so happy to be your wife, Harvey. I will never have enough time with you."
At her words he pulled their clasped hands closer to himself and kissed the back of her hand and held it close to his chest. He looked up at his wife and let his eyes wander around her beautiful face and said," You have made me so happy to be your husband, Donna. This past year as flown and all I know is that I am overjoyed you chose to take the journey with me. I love you."
They stopped in the middle of the dance floor and kissed. They ignored anything and everything around them.
Getting home that night seemed a breeze. When Donna opened the door of the house, Harvey noticed the house was dark and quiet and-empty.
"Donna? Where is everybody?" Harvey asked as he stepped over the threshold.
Donna took Harvey's hand and pulled him further and kissed him again making sure their bodies met as they pressed together. She softly stroked his head and let her hand trail down over his broad shoulders.
Harvey deepened their kiss and reinforced his grip on his wife as if she would escape from him.
"Donna..." he softly called into her neck.
"We're alone, Harvey. Mimi and Lily are spending the night at Charlotte's. My mom is with her to help."
Harvey's desire increased fourfold as he let his lips trail down Donna's neck kissing her long swan neck and ending with just a bit of a nip here and there. Donna's legs were jelly under Harvey's skilled lips and hands.
Harvey led Donna to their bedroom and opened the door to their master bath. His eyes only left Donna's for a moment as he opened the master bath door.
"Donna?" He asked as he looked back at his wife. "You knew, didn't you?"
Donna gave him a somewhat bemused expression. "Now, did you think you could keep me away from that door since yesterday afternoon? Oh, I admit that I told myself I could keep away until tonight but then I thought that I would like to buy some accoutrements so we could, perhaps, use it tonight? See what I did there?"
Harvey pulled her closer and began to unzip her dress. "I see what you did there."
They shed their clothes, undressing each other slowly and longingly, increasing the desire to languish making love in the new tub. The water was already warm and filled with bubbles.
"I had mom make up the bath before she left for Charlotte's," Donna huskily answered the question in her husband's deep dark eyes.
Harvey tested the water with his hand. It was warm. Some of the bubbles gathered on his hand and teased Donna with him by bonking her on the nose with them much like he did with their girls when he bathed them.
"Hey, I like the look!"
Donna attempted to do the same to him only he darted across the floor and then before leaving the bathroom he stopped at the door and let himself be caught. Rather than bonk him on the nose, she pulled him toward the tub wanting nothing more than to feel his body enclose her fully. They kissed and Harvey placed a hand to her hair and stroked it back. She responded by kissing his neck and behind his ear. He pulled away from her still holding her hand and stepped into the tub and sat down.
"Ahhh...that feels so good," Harvey said as he threw back his head leaning it on the rounded edge. "Care to join me?"
Without words, Donna nodded and allowed Harvey to help her into the tub. He held her hand like glass and carefully sat her between his legs as if she were porcelain and could break at any second.
"You're right. That feels so good," Donna purred as Harvey's head came forward and he kissed her deeply. She leaned back onto his shoulder and put her arm around his neck. When they stopped they just stared silently into each other's eyes and smiled.
Donna sat between Harvey open knees as he lapped the water over her. The light in the room was a dim candlelit glow. Harvey looked around and there were candles everywhere. Candles lent the glow and a light strawberry scent to the pale walls of bathroom. They sat together in silence just enjoying the peace and joy of being with one another on this special night.
Before the water turned cold and all the bubbles had disappeared, Donna moved out from between Harvey's legs kissing his knees and thighs as she did.
"Thank you for this tub. It is exactly how I imagined it...and exactly how I imagined us in it."
"You're welcome," Harvey said and pushed the wet hair from her face. He guided her hips to his erection and they moved as one. Harvey loved the feel of Donna's breasts pressed up against him and the water only added to the gushing warmth he felt as he moved inside her. Their rhythm became faster and faster and when Harvey released his essence into her Donna he savored it all. She held his head to her breast as he gently suckled at her left breast and played with the erect nipple of the other. They kissed silently with their mouths and lips picking up where they joined bodies had tapered off.
Before the end of their anniversary night, they left the water in the tub and the candles burning moving onto their bed dressed only in their robes which were dropped as Harvey gently backed his wife into the bed. The clean dark blue of the sheets calling to them just waiting to be mussed before dawn.
With their hands clasped together, Donna opened her legs wide and welcomed Harvey between them. Their naked bodies were beginning to warm against the quick chill felt at disrobing. They again exchanged ardent wet open mouthed kisses as Harvey stroked his body against Donna's. He was hard again and swiftly entered her walls again which were still hot and moist from the water and their last round. He held her head so delicately and pumped gently sighing deeply.
Donna's body shivered and quivered as she grasped Harvey's shoulder holding onto dear life as her body felt like it had flown to a different dimension. It was almost like a mirror to her. She could almost see Harvey's muscled posterior clench and release as he drove himself into her. Her breath caught in a squeak.
Kissing, stroking, and moving in that familiar yet constant erotic rhythm, Harvey pumped again his essence into Donna. Breathlessly, Harvey calmed and laid his head on her breast. Their bodies were still somewhat connected.
"Oh my God, Harvey!" Donna released in joy as she held her body to his and clenched her lower muscles so all of Harvey's essence would not ooze out between them. She could feel his heart beat still fast but lowering. It echoed hers.
"Donna," Harvey said propping himself up on his elbow.
"Mm?"
"I want to say that this year has been crazy. You will never know all the ways you have made me so happy. You changed me into a man who only needs one woman. A father who would protect his children with every breath in his being, and a husband who will never, ever leave you alone."
Donna smiled at his words. She felt the same way about him. She stroked his face that was just a hair's breath above hers. She kissed him.
"I am so proud to be Mrs. Harvey Specter. I'm sure we will have our ups and downs but know that my love and my heart is always yours."
"Come here, Mrs. Specter."
They spent the rest of their anniversary night and the morning after locked in each other's embrace. The bed did get its promises of becoming a mess and the water in the tub was eventually let out and the candles burned out as well.
Waking up for a celebratory day after anniversary breakfast in bed which Harvey prepared, they enjoyed each other's company. Hoping that in difficult times that may ensue, this would be one of the times when all was well and happy and very, very special between them.
Chomping on the bacon he had cooked to perfection, Harvey asked, "So when are the girls coming back?"
Donna squinted at her phone and noticed the time was 10:30 am.
"Not until noon, mom told me."
"I thought they were staying at Charlotte's?" Harvey said a little concerned.
Donna smiled. "Don't worry, daddy. Mom is staying with Charlotte. Apparently, Mitchell is on some business trip and mom came out to keep her company."
"Oh," Harvey said scooping some of the eggs onto his fork. "I'm famished."
Donna smiled. "Of course you are. I am, too. I don't remember a sex marathon like that since you showed up at my apartment a little over a year ago."
"Considering everything you do, your stamina is incredible," Harvey remarked.
"I know. I'm Donna and I'm awesome," she joked with her husky voice and a kiss for Harvey. "Care to go again before the girls come home?"
"Why don't you come sit on my lap and see?" Harvey invited.
She accepted his invitation and brushing the flaps of his blue velour robe aside, she made silent 'ooo' with her lips. Biting them, she saw he was ready and waiting and sighed as she impaled herself on his organ and they made a little more love before the curtained terrace of their master bedroom.
